As Janu tossed and turned in sleep suddenly her shadow separated from her body completely, slowly taking form in the light into a solid copy of Janu. The only sign that something was off was Shadow had no…well…shadow. She yawned and stretched her arms as her real body turned and mumbled in sleep, both herself and not herself as she opened the door and stepped out….one thing on her mind.

She walked to the stairs clumsily, just as partially drunk as the real thing who thought this was a dream. “Arina…?” She called softly, leaning on the banister. “I need your help…Can you come here?” She asked quietly, staying at the top of the stairs where…hopefully…no one could see her lack of shadow.

Arina's ear twitched as she heard her name. "I'ma commin'!" She yelled out placing her now half empty drink down and giggling and starting to crawl off the bar. She stood, swaying a little then catching her balance and making her way giggling to the stairs. "Janu, oh Janu where for art though Janu dearest." She called out as she clumsily made her way up the stairs trying not to trip on her own dress.

Ti looked over to the stairs, his eyes flashing gold as he stared into the darkness they lead up to. He turned to follow Arina, catching her before she got to far up the stairs "I can go take care of it, you sit down here so you don't fall down, ok?" He looked up to the darkness again and stared hard 'Something isn't right.' he thought as he felt the shadows waver and fold.

Talianda's ear perked up, hearing Janu's voice. He got up, walking over to the stairs. "Janu? Arina's a bit drunk, can I help?" She shouldn't be awake yet, she was smashed...

Gero calls from his seat, "what's wrong?" he gets up and walks to the bottom of the stairs, "Who is it?"

Arina blushed as Ti caught her, and it grew redder as he had showed concern for her "Aw, Ti, I didn't know you cared!" Arina said completely forgetting about the call to her and leaning on him for support. "Hmm, I like it right here." She said nuzzling her face onto his chest. "I don't need sit down, you just stay here."

Right here beautiful” She stated softly in response, stepping onto the first step. She then giggled softly, half reaching for Arina only to find the blond was stopped before she reached her. The feline sighed and tilted her head a little bit, shrugging a moment. “I’d prefer Arina help me but you’ll do too Ti….” she stated with a mischievous, if slightly blushy smile. She glanced at Tal as he spoke, seeming pleased by the attention. “Heh seems Ti’s going to help me sweet one, though…” the feline trailed off as if deep in thought. As Arina spoke, however, Shadow J seemed to look almost hurt, looking at the two. She whispered softly "One of you...please..."

Ti sighed as the drunk woman clung to him. "I'll be right there Janu, let me get Arina sitting down." He picked Arina up easily and carried her over to one of the sofas. 'This might not be safe, there is definitely something wrong' He thought as he set Arina down on the sofa, bending down so she didn't fall. "You stay here, I have to go make sure Janu is alright." He turned to Talianda then, "Make sure she stays here, ok?" He said as he tried to detangle Arina from him.

"There is something wrong with Janu. Do you need any help," Gero asks Ti.

Arina sighed and gave up easily curling up on the couch but reached for her drink over on the bar. "Fine, I'll stay here." She huffed and crawled across the sofa still reaching for her drink at the bar. "Tal tal, hand me drinky please..." She managed to get out while sitting back down on the couch.

"I... I can do that," he said, sitting next to Arina, wrapping his tail around her, and handing her her drink with one paw. "What's wrong?" He felt a small shiver run up his spine. "I don't want anyone to get hurt, and that's how you're acting..."


((Shikasha paws have a thumb, so you guys don't freak out on him.))

Yeah…right” The shadow answered Ti, looking at her claws with a defeated look. It seemed as if she expected him to stay downstairs…with Arina…the beautiful arina. The shadow sighed, staying at the top of the stairs and watching a moment. As he told the other to watch her she sighed again, biting her lip. Upstairs in her room the real janu squirmed, whimpering softly “Arina…ti…” before rolling over and going to sleep again

"Thank you." He started back to the stairs, responding to Gero as he walked. "No... it's ok I can help her." He started up the stairs, his steps silent as he read the shadows 'We have this in common, so, I can help her.... right?' He shook his head and looked to the top of the stairs, his eyes adjusting to the darkness with ease. He saw Janu standing a little ways back, towards her door. "Janu? What did you need?" He asked, his right hand at his side, ready to grab a knife at a moment's notice.

Arina made grabby hands and then took the drink squealing happily and sipped at it cuddling up to Talianda. "Tal tal warm." Arina said while she got comfortable. It was clear most of her normal thinking was gone, but it was just more childish than anything. She watched as Ti walked up the stairs feeling a tinge of jealousy, she didn't know why but she did.

Talianda blinked, that was the second woman who had called him that. Correction, second drunken woman. He looked at Arina, then shook his head and watched Ti go to the stairs. He didn't think he would ever understand women. Especially with little to go on for culture...

Arina….or you....to not be so cold...” she answered softly, waiting till he got close enough to touch. She then did exactly what she intended to do to Arina acting on Janu’s own hidden desires. She gripped Ti’s shoulders and kissed him deeply, as the real janu whispered “Ti…” in her sleep. It seemed that underneath all that shyness lay quite an impassioned woman…..one who simply didn’t trust herself, and seeing what Shadow was doing now perhaps Janu was right not to trust.

((Xd Yus, when her kind is passed out drunk there shadows go and act on their dreams XD. Luckily Janu is having good dreams and is a good person or this would have been bad Xd))

Arina hummed to herself Leaning against Talianda an old lullaby her dad used to sing. She traced her finger around the rim of the glass for a moment then took another sip of the concoction. She giggled softly images running through her head.

Ti's eyes widened as Janu grabbed his shoulders and kissed him passionately. He could feel the shadow power radiating off her but he was caught in her grasp. His own powers stirred and a shudder ran down his spine as he fought his emotions and hormones, but lost. He let go of the knife handle and leaned downwards, deepening the kiss, his fangs grazing her bottom lip as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

Arina sighed softly and looked towards the stairs. She saw what was happening at the top of them. She had to bite her lip a second and set down her now empty drink. She stood up slowly. "I'm... going to bed..." She told Talianda, all the playfullness had left her voice her skin had gone pale and hardened and her eyes turned black. "Goodnight." She said, her voice lower again, the old blood took over her again. She walked to the other set of stairs and moved up them quickly and quietly. Reaching the top she went to her room and locked herself in huddling up in her bed. She sighed softly wrapping her arms around her legs, and resting her head on her knees and tears started to slide down her cheeks. "Of course... they'd fit wouldn't they..." Arina mumbled softly into her knees.

Talianda looked at Arina, listening to her lullaby and giggling. Why do people let themselves get this drunk? He shook his head yet again and looked at Ti and Janu.

In time to see them kiss.

Talianda closed his eyes, trying to controle the surge of emotional chaos that welled up at the sight. Jealousy of Ti, anger at him, sorrow for not being able to have Janu. He took a deep breath, a slight wind passing around the room as his control slipped a bit and he growled.


((And commotion. Now both of them are jealous!))

The shadow shivered as he gripped her waist, as the real janu did too, though Janu slept on peacefully as she thought this simply an insane dream. Shadow then clung to him tighter, whimpering at his fangs graze but pressing into the kiss all the same. The feline gripped him tighter, not quite enough to leave claw marks but almost, driven further as instead of shutting down her motion he'd simply increased it.

((hmmm now when to have the real Janu wake up and the shadow disappear *thinking* XD))
