Arina nodded starting at the end gently running the brush through his hair. She was a little excited that she was allowed to touch him. She slowly and carefully brushed out all the knots. "There, it's all straight again." She said smiling "That wasn't so bad huh?" Sylvia nodded and fluttered returning to her human size. "Honeysuckle tea?" She asked excitedly "If that's the kind you make then I will DEFINITELY have a cup." she chattered on. "I like mine with lots of honey, to make it sweet like candy, Oni told me he likes it too, it was totally awesome." [[sorry Kage >3< i have to get up and help my little bro do his hair for crazy hair day at school, and it's only going to give me like 5 hours of sleep, which for some reason is not enough for me, i miss highschool, i used to be able to stay up till like 4 and still be fine for school at 7.]] |

… I’ll put honey in yours… not in mine…I hate sweet drinks.” Rain said with a shake of her head. She began making tea quickly and efficiently without looking up from her spot at the stove. She didn’t mean to say it so rudely, but she was never one of social graces. She then glanced at the pretty fairy a moment as she finished the tea, pouring honey in Sylvia’s but drinking her own unaltered. |

Xanic started to explore but soon got bored. Instead he went to their room and locked the door. He pulled out their bag and riffled through their stuff. Most of it was Oni's, he was a super pack rat, but Xanic pulled out a paper clip. He looked it for a while, sighed and stuck it safely back in a little pouch in the bag.
Oni peeped out and said softly, "Do you miss it?" Xanic replied, "Yes and no. Part of me really does but I know we should be here." With that they both went silent, thinking their separate thoughts. After a little while Xanic said, "It's cool Oni, I'm okay. You should go and have some fun." Oni replied, "Are you sure. I've been out a lot lately all ready?" "Yeah I'm sure, besides if I want out I'll just push you out of the way," he said in a light joking voice.Oni smiled and said, "Okay." He bounced off the bed and headed back down stairs to see if anyone was around. |
Rain stepped out of the kitchen, her cat finding its way to her shoulder once more. She sipped her tea, petting behind the cat’s ear. She had started to reach into her hidden place with a spell when she heard someone on the stair. She glanced towards Oni as he came down the stairs, lifting a hand in a greeting. She moved to perch herself on the back of the couch, nodding a hello as she sipped her tea. “Hi there..” |
Oni gave Rain a little smile and said, "Hello." He went a little closer not really sure what to say but decided to talk about the cat. "Is it a he or a she?" he asked pointing to the furry little thing.

She.. . Just like me..” She replied with a smile, leaning on one arm as she took another sip of tea and watched her cat leap down and run over to Oni. It sniffed him a moment before rubbing against his leg with a purr. Apparently Rain was not giving it enough attention. The witch leaned backwards, watching him a moment. “You don’t quite know how to act around me do you?” she suddenly said bluntly, having been thinking about how she seemed to off balance him. “I don’t mean to be hard on you… I just don’t want you to repeat my mistakes and I say what I think.” She shrugged and glanced to her tea, giving the closest to an apology she’d ever really given. ((On a random note did I show you the pencil drawing of Rain XD)) |
Oni knelled down and began to put her saying, "She's really pretty. Does she have a name?"
When she said that he didn't know how to act around her, he looked up with a thoughtful look saying, "You're right. I think you're a good person but I feel foolish around you." He decided that she spoke what she thought perhaps she would like the same in return. "You actually kind of remind me of my brother. He's kind of the same way. Sometimes he's a little rough with me but I know it's only because he cares about me" he said. ((I don't think so. Ahhh sorry if it took long to post this. For some reason when ever they post a new announcement it kicks me off the site.)) |
She nodded softly, looking at the ceiling sadly a moment though her strange smile fell into place. “Well, you think I’m a good person, that’s an improvement over what many think.” She said a moment, turning to ruffle his hair gently. “I don’t mean to make anyone foolish….” She glanced at him, hardening herself to just call him weak inwardly but feeling guilt anyway. He was trying so hard…. The cat meanwhile sat and purred deeply, rubbing up against his hand. ((No problem ^.^ and here she is xD http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...rrent=Rain.png. As he was listening to her he could feel various emotions slightly rise, touch and flow back only to be replaced by another. He wondered what she was thinking to have her emotions fluctuate so quickly from one to another. It however was not his business. He tried to get a tighter lid on his empathy. Sometimes he felt his give was an invasion of privacy and tried hard to control it. It could be difficult though because until a little while ago he had always been persuaded to leave his gift open, not closed.
He couldn't help but smile when she ruffled his hair, he liked being touched, and he said, "I know you are not trying to make me feel foolish or bad you just want me to be okay huh?" As the cat purred he kept petting it and said, "Rain is good. All of Oni's friends are good." He finished with an innocent smile. (( Cool, lol, she's holding the cat too! You'll have to make sure and show me when it's colored k)) |
Yes….. I thought a lot like you once…… and I don’t want you to pay the same price I did.” She trailed off a moment, rubbing her hip a bit in thought a moment. She’d woken up screaming from the memories many times before. As he spoke the last, reaching over to touch his cheek a moment and shake her head. Such innocence… how did the boy live? She then thought over some of the fights she’d been in, some of the things she felt…what she’d done to her tortures to ensure they never hurt anyone again. “You have no idea Oni… How bad I can be…” She said darkly amused yet tragically sadly in a near whisper, getting up a moment as her tea was empty. The kitten jumped on Oni’s shoulder, nuzzling his cheek a moment as Rain spoke as if she’d never said such a dark thing. “The cat’s name is Ebony by the way, I need some hot tea.” ((of course ^.^)) |
"It's okay Rain. I always have brother with me," he said to her first comment. He thought about how she said she could be bad and replied,"Dir. . .a man once told me that sometimes good people had to do bad things in order to help other good people. I don't really understand but I think it's like brother when he gets angry because someone tried to hurt me." He gave a pathetic little look and said, "Does that make sense? Sorry I'm not so good at putting my thoughts into words." As the kitten jumped up Oni nuzzled it right back happily. "Ebony huh," he said as he nuzzled. "I like her a lot. Okay oh but your coming back right?" he said to her hope she would keep him company.

Ashe spoke in her defense she simply felt guilty, having felt a satisfaction in her revenge that made her feel there was nothing good about her…She didn’t say a word however, simply pouring herself a cup of tea and returning to Oni. She sat in a chair opposite him, her head tilted to the side as her waves of blue streaked ivory hair fell to half cover her face in the many braids the fairy had formed. “What makes you think I’m good anyway?” She asked finally, sipping her tea as she watched her cat nuzzling him. The woman crossed her legs a moment, simply staring in thought as she enjoyed her tea. She couldn’t help but worry for Xanic had his weakness too…his temper. |
