As Xanic was walking through the woods he found a nice big rock and laid down on it. It felt good out here. He liked the outdoors and he always felt much more calm when he was outside. Oni didn't mind so much but he preferred to be were other people were. Xanic didn't understand that, considering that Oni could feel other people feeling. He wondered how Oni didn't go crazy. Wait, check that, maybe Oni was slightly crazy. He gave a slight laugh. Crazy or not he loved his brother.

Arina leaned against the bar in her usual spot, also taking a cup of tea. She watched as her Inn moved on around her and sipped at her tea. Had it really only been a couple of days. It seemed like more....

Sylvia stirred in her honey and sipped the tea "Thanks Lukas, it's just what i grew up on y'know?" She said spinning around in her chair. "I wonder where rain rain is."

Rain stalked to the coffee pot, not even looking up at anyone as she pored her self some of the warm bitter drink. She took a deep drink, raising her hand in greeting to the fairy…hoping no one would comment on her scream. She picked up her kitten, a bit more roughly then she meant to and sat it on her shoulder, causing it to whine in annoyance but for once rain was to distracted to notice. “Sorry about the braids” she muttered to Sylvia as she passed her.

"Rain seems off today... whats wrong rainy?" sylvia bothered shrinking and going to cuddle with the kitten on rain's shoulder.

“Bad night,” she replied as she sat down on a nearby chair. She glanced over as the fairy shrank, watching as Ebony purred and wrapped it’s front paws around the fairy. Rain then closed her eyes, taking deep sips of coffee as she waited for the burning pain to subside in her scars. Without a second thought she reached over to get an apple though she didn’t quite bite into it with her usual vigor.

Curalei smiled abd thanked Alina before taking a slow sip of the wine. After slowly savouring and swallowing the wine, she looked to Alina, speaking in her high, soft voice, "This is good wine, Alina. Thank you.. How much would a roomfor a couple of nights cost me, if there are any vacancies?" Her tone was hopeful. She needed a good place to rest for some time. Life had been so busy these past few years - she'd been pretty much across the world and back.

Sylvia giggled nuzzeling against the kitten and petting behind it's ears "Pretty kitty." she said happily then looked up at Rain "Well, now it's morning, so let's make it a good morning, to contridict the bad night right?" She said cheerfully.

Arina grabbed a key, depends on how long you plan on staying." She said. "And what amount of cash you have, I could let you pay, or, If you're willing, you can help out round here, and I'll let you have the room free. We could use someone to tend the bar..." She said "I've been in rough shape the past few days, and my brother has been appointed babysitter it seems." She laughed at her joke "Well, the cleaner of messes anyway."

"Hey now, I said I'd behave, mind you to do the same." Lukas retorted. "Besides, I don't mind helping out the little bugger. He is the only one round here with a cheerful attitude, it's refreshing, you might try it." He said flicking a marshmellow at Sylvia. "Well, you seem.. a little less sad today anyway, I think that's a good thing."

Rain heard the kitten purr but only opened her eyes as Sylvia spoke. “Yeah…..it’s morning anyway.” she replied, still a little grumpy from the way she woke up. She poked the fairy’s tiny body a minute gently then turned back to her coffee, finishing the rest of the cup as she gazed forward in thought. The burn was beginning to fade and the scars return to normal…

After a while Xanic headed back to the inn. He was feeling better now. The closer they got the the inn the more he thought about food. He pushed their hair back. Sometimes it seemed they required more food than the average person. All he could think about was something made of meat, correction, make that red meat.

Once inside he gave a grunt as a hello and went straight to the fridge. Finding a slab of cow Xanic grabbed it and dropped it in an empty pan. He didn't even bother to see if it was clean or not. He turned on the stove and waited.

Sylvia caught the marshmallow that was hurdling towards her and took a bite of it offering one to the ebony. "Mornings mean new beginnings! Well, for the most part anyway, y'know?" Sylvia said and swatted at the prodding finger.

Lukas just waved as Xanic walked by "So, it seems Xanic goins our presence today. I know if it was Oni, we'd have gotten a more cheerful greeting." Lukas teased poking his head in the kitchen. He stood in the doorway looking back over to Rain and the fairy. "She speaks the truth I'd say. He then moved over getting himself a cup of coffee.

Xanic noticed Lukas walk in and said,"Juice, that kind you gave Oni." Ya, that stuff had been good. He hoped there was more. He grabbed a dirty fork that was near by and used it to flip his meat over. He gave a little growl, why did food take so long to cook damn it.

Lukas pointed to the fridge "It's in there big man. I'm sure you can recognise a label." He teased as he walked back in sipping his coffee. "So where'd you run off to?" He asked curiously.

Xanic grunted in reply. Damn he was hoping Lukas would get it for him. Well the meat wasn't near done so he got up and grabbed the first fruity drink in sight. He set in next to him on the counter. "The woods," he replied to Lukas. He poked the meat with the fork. Well it was kinda brown. He turned off the stove, stabbed the meat with his fork and took a big hot bite. He loved that he could regenerate. After a few bites he opened the juice and guzzled half of it. In no time at all Xanic had made the meal disappear. He looked down and realized he had gotten their clothes all dirty. They had left the clothing bag behind at the last place since they had been in a hurry. He looked at Lukas and asked, "Dude you got some clothes we can use or something. If you want money for it that's fine to."

"I would suppose if Arina hasn't thrown out all my old clothes, there may be something for you. I'd assume we should check the attic and see if they're up there. I'm sure something ought to fit you from them." He said thinking out loud. "Though I don't know if there will be much that you'll like. When I was your size, my mom had taken to a old fashioned look for me. A lot of button up slithly frilly shirts and vests. what a pain."

Xanic just gave a defeated look. He had a feeling today was not going to be his best day. "What ever, it will work till we can get what we're wearing clean. You guys got a washer right?" He really, really hoped they did. "Hey I think I'm gonna let Oni out for the day but tell him to take a damn bath before he puts any new clothes on," he said to Lukas. Thought Oni loved taking baths he had a bad habit of forgetting to wash up.

Lukas nodded. "In the basement is a washer and dryer. I mean the towels have to get washed and such somehow you know." he then laughed. "Alright, I'll not forget to let him know." he said nodding. He finished his cup of coffee and refilled it taking another sip, it helped there were two coffee machines that had recently been filled.

Xanic said gruffly, "Thanks."

Oni blinked a sec. When his brother went on his long walks Oni would stop paying attention. Sometimes it got really boring so he would go into a sort of 'sleep' state. He saw Lukas, smiled and went to hug him saying, "Hi Lukas!"

"Hello Oni, your brother told me to pass along that you need to take a bath. Oh, and i hope you don't mind ruffles." He said laughing a little. "Cause youre gonna have to borrow some of my old clothes, and, well, you'll see when we venture up to the attic to find you something clean to wear."

Arina started to wander the halls humming to herself. She wondered what everyone was doing, and who may show up later. She then thought how she could probably use a shower. She moved along the halls back to her private quarters, having her own personal shower in them. On her way to the bathroom she stopped in her closet getting an outfit in the same style she had on only with gold instead of burgandy, she grabbed the matching shoes and the little mini hat trimmed in black lace before shutting herself in her bathroom and showering.

"Oh okay. . .yeah I guess it has been awhile," he said thoughtfully. "Ruffles? I don't mind ruffles. I really get to wear something that was yours?," he asked all smiles. He almost couldn't believe his luck. Yesterday he had made all kinds of new friends and today he got to 'borrow' clothes! Best of all they had belonged to Lukas! He followed Lukas like an excited puppy.

((lol, man this kid has been sooo deprived. ))

The kitten let out a purr of delight, eating all the marshmallow she was handed. It held it close, licking it’s whiskers then the fairy’s hand. As the fairy swatted at Rain she poked her one last time then turned to her apple contently. She took a few bites, her mind falling to the fairy’s determination. She just didn’t seem willing to leave her sad.

Lukas just laughed and nodded. "Alright, lets find out how to get to the attic." He said giving a little laugh. "I dunno how to get up there since she remodeled the house, i mean most of it seems to be the same but I can't truest that it all is. " He thought out loud roaming down the hallways and up different sets of stairs.

Sylvia giggled as the kitten licked her hand and pet behind her ears with her other hand "Silly little kitten seems to like sweets." She giggled and then had to flutter to keep her balanced as she was poked again "Rain rain, we should like, go apple picking, we can bake an apple pie!!!"She exclaimed as soon as the thought hit her mind "Oh I love apple pie, all warm and cinnamon mmm and the gooey and the sugar!"
