As Emeriya began working on the spell a slight shadow entered the water and flashed over the page. It began to change things subtly, a dark presence far away smiling to itself. It was a perfect opportunity and it would not pass it up. If she would forget…..then she would not know him and he could finally have what he wanted. Janu meanwhile shivered, sensing something but dismissing it as her imagination.

Arina nodded to Rain "Yes, that's my name. Uh.. who's Syv?" She asked a bit confused but figured she'd find out soon enough anyway. Still, she felt like asking. She then turned her head to the door expecting whomever the female voice calling out to Rain would be said person and waited for her to enter the library.

Sylvia entered the library chucking the apple almost at Rain's head with a mischievous smile then noticed Arina. "Hello miss Arina stone lady. My name is Sylvia. I haven't had the pleasure yet." She said with a small bow. "Though if you don't mind, I and a few other guests, need rooms...." she forwardly reminded. She then flittered over to Rain and made a funny face

[Clorissa: you're a tad bit behind hun, Arina feinted, and then woke up and went to the library, you'll have to assume you'll have to wait till she gets back down to get a room, though Sylvia will be dragging her down in just a moment.]

"Testing your reaction of course." She said and giggled She stuck her tongue out and shrunk down sitting on rain's shoulder. "Whatcha doin in the room of books?" She asked leaning her head against Rain's neck to get comfy.

"Its uh, a pleasure to meet you little fairy, and, I suppose you're right, I should get you a room." She headed for the door and down the steps to the bar "But you're going to have to come get the key, I'm not going to bring it back up here for you."

Curalei waited at the bar, sipping her wine, and then sitting nearly still as a statue while waiting for Arina to return. As the woman sat, her winged feline companion, Orpheus began to wander around the bar area. His smooth black form weaved in and out between the stools, and then he leapt from chair to chair near the tables. Jumping onto a table, he spread his slightly fuzzy black wings and flew in a loop around the room, meowing happily, before landing back beside Curalei.

Rain continued down the stairs, reaching up to find the fairy had half fallen asleep in her hair. She rolled her eyes and laughed, placing the small pink haired woman into her pocket so she couldn’t fall and get hurt. She wondered if she’d get annoyed with her when she woke up but the idea of her getting hurt…that bothered rain more then annoyance. “Careful girl…or you’re starting to care… “she thought to herself a moment.

She then stepped into the main room, near the bar as she noticed Xanic and Curalei. She half smiled a moment, observing yet another one had arrived. For a moment she paused, however, noticing a cat just like hers though Ebony was slightly smaller. She raised an eyebrow, she’d never seen another like Ebony. She let out a small whistle, her own cat hopping out with a piece of candy in its mouth it stole from somewhere. It glanced at Orpheus and seemed slightly puzzled but then ran to Rain and with a few flaps of its tiny wings went to land on her shoulder. “Hi there….” rain said softly to the two, her eyes on the cat.

Arina moved behind the bar. "Alright, lets see, three people for keys." She mumbled to herself pulling out 3 keys, "The fairy, the girl with the new barkeep, aaaand, the artist." she said to herself before setting the keys on the counter, all three rooms were the same in style so it didn't matter who got which. "Alright ladies pick a key, so I can write who gets what in the roster."

Sylvia woke up in rain's pocket. She looked around slightly confused. "Well, I guess safer is better than nothing." she mumbled flitting out of the poket and giving a little bow in thanks to Rain. "Now did I hear i get a key?" She giggled, returning to her normal size and grabbing one of the keys and putting it in her bag as Arina wrote down her name in the roster and which room she had.

Curalei snapped to attention at turned to see Rain, with Orpheus. She grumbled something to herself and then called the cat, "Orpheus, come back here." She held turned fully to catch the cat in her lap as it leapt up to her. Looking back to Rain, she asked, "Who are you..? And why are you speaking to my cat?" Curalei's eyes widened as she noticed Ebony.

Arina just moved over to her tea pot making a fresh pot and pouring herself a cup, as well as the fairy. She moved the jar of honey into the fairy's reach as she leaned in her usual spot. This seemed kind of interesting, and she just stayed a silent observer.

Sylvia squealed a little as she was presented with the cup of tea adding a few spoonfulls of honey into it. She stirred and drank it happily. "Two kitty kitties. How wonderful, I hope they can be friends and then we can all play hide and seek." she chimed giggling.

"I would prefer if you'd leave my Orpheus alone. I don't think that Orpheus has any siblings," muttered Curalei. She grunted and tossed Orpheus lightly to the ground near the other cat and turned around to take a key from the counter. "Which room is this one for?" She had turned her attention to ask Arina.

"It should say it on the key." She said leaning aginst the counter sipping her tea. "You can read can't you? It's 205." She said noting the attitude about the winged cat. "And if you don't want others to bother your Orpheus, I'd say to keep him away from the guests. It's the only sure way. Cause we have some very curious people and some who can't just keep to themselves."

Sylvia stuck her tongue out at the lady "Rude rude, no hide and seek with the kitties then." she finished her cup of tea quickly and shrunk fluttering over to ebony and tapping her on the nose "You're it!" she shouted before zipping off about the room.

"My apologies, I didn't see it.." She turned the key over and read it. "Thank you, Arina. And maybe I won't mind so much.. I'm used to strangers being unkind, in my travels." Curalei explained her anxiety. Looking over her shoulder at Rain, calling back to her, "I'm sorry to you as well. Go play, Orpheus." The cat chased after the child and Ebony, mewing happily.

Arina just nodded "Well, I've already said it to the others, but there's to be no intentional harming of the other residents. It's just, not something I'm fond of. I suppose light sparring is one thing, but everyone here's pretty good at ... not harming others. Not harming themselves, is a different story though it seems." She said thoughtfully. "I dunno, it's weird." She shrugged taking another sip of her tea.

Sylvia had to squeal a little as Orpheus started to chase her. She set off again making circular patterns and laughing. "Can't get me Can't get me!" she teased the cat staying fast enough to stay just out of the cat's reach.

Oni blinked and rubbed his eyes. He wasn't quite awake but could hear voices. He was comfy where he was. He sat up, still not awake, and sort of just stared blankly at the room. In a small voice he said, "Lukas?"

((he's on one of the sofas in the main area, Xanic passed out there earlier on. Is anyone in that room? If not I'll edit my post))

"Well, thank you. Think I could get another glass of wine?" Curalei smiled a charming grin, slipping the key into her pocket with one hand, the other's elegant fingers wrapping around the stem of the wine glass.

Orpheus chased the little girl around in circles until he was almost dizzy. After awhile, he playfully growled and jumped on her, clinging to her body with his soft paws - Orpheus' claws were safely retracted. He nibbled on her shirt and mewed.

Sylvia giggled and pet Orpheus cuddling up to him "Cute kitty" She said happily "I like, you, we'll be good friends" She said nodding. She reached out for ebony to com get pets as well "C'mere Ebony, we'll make big cuddly pile."

"No problem." She said smiling, she reached under the counter grabbing the bottle from earlier and refilled the glass. She then grabbed a glass for herself. "I could go for a glass of this too." she smiled as she sipped it. "Ah, that's refreshing." She smiled softly leaning against the counter once again.

Lukas groggily woke in his bedroom, the bruises hurt today He slipped out of bed getting dressed and heading down the stairs and walking straight to the bar pouring himself a cup of coffee. After he sipped from it he let his gaze fall on the events in the room.
