Hikari smiled a little. "Wellll, I would certainly hope not!" she joked, putting her sketchbook away.

Hiroku secretly smiled and wiped it off his face quickly.
"So how are you?" |
Hikari smiled a little. "I'm good, just trying to do some art before I get to class," she said, blushing a little. "We have to draw an animal for Art class..... I did a cat, and the fur's a pain to draw," she said, shaking her head. "How are you?"

"I'm good, here, let me help you."
He grabbed the pencil and the book and started drawing. He taught her to cross hatch in some spots to make it look like the fur was over-lapping one another as he used tiny brushes on the paper. |
Hikari nodded, and she picked up his lessons quickly. When the picture was done, it looked much better than it was before, which was a cat-shaped fuzzball. "Thanks Hiroko... It looks way better now," she said, smiling at him.

Hikari blushed, not knowing what else to say.... Words just falied her at this point.

Hikari blinked. "Ok. Bye- Hiroku?" she said, apparently her goodbye was cut off by him running off to class. She sighed, and she packed up her things, heading off to English. |

Hiroku walked home that day, not feeling like driving. He sat on the ground for a bit, just sitting, and thinking. |
Hikari was flying home when she saw Hiroku. She blushed, and she flew down behind a tree, retracting her wings and silently sitting next to him.

Hiroku didn't move a muscle.
"Yes?" |
Hikari was silent for a moment.. "......Why did you run off so suddenly?" she asked, her face turning a bright red.

Hikari blinked. "Ok...... Well, I just wanted to thank you again for the help on my drawing.... I got an A on it thanks to you," she said, smiling a little. |
"I'm always here if you need my help."
he said as he stared in the distance. |
Hikari smiled. "Me too," she said softly, looking off to nowhere in particular, then she snuck a glance at Hiroku.. She blushed a little when she saw him, but she quickly changed her gaze. What was it about him that she loved so much? She decided it wasn't one thing in particular- it was everything.

Hiroku's mind was buzzing with questions he needed answers to. "I gotta...go." he said as he stood up and left. |
Hikari blinked, and she looked a little sad. "Ok.... Bye Hiroku... See you later!" she said, smiling even though she wanted to know why he always had to leave so soon..... She stood up, and flew back to her treehouse, grabbing her things so she could go swimming. She put on her swimsuit underneath her clothes, and went to the community pool, swimming to a spot underneath the pool steps that she found a couple months ago. Apparently, the steps were made to cover up an unnecessary wall. She sighed, and she sat on the wall, which was long enough to lay down on flat without falling off. She smiled, and got out a pillow and towel from her waterproof backpack that she had snuck on before diving in, covering up and just looking at the reflection that the water made on the steps.
