He walked to the library and pulled out a few vampire book.

Hikari was working on her homework when she looked up and saw Hiroku in the (I think this is right) fantasy section. She smiled, and quickly ducked her head to avoid being seen, turning a bright red.

He licked his finger and turned the page, pretending not to know she was there.

Hikari smiled a little, and buried her face in her book. "Why am I DOING THIS?!?!?? He's RIGHT THERE," she thought, frustrated with herself.

He smiled.
"Hey squirt." He could smell her from a mile away. |
Hikari blushed a deep scarlet. "I'm not a squirt," she said, clearly embarassed.

He smiled and turned around, shutting the book.
"Okay then squirt." |
Hikari blushed an even deeper red. "I said I wasn't a squirt," she said, getting a little upset.

He chuckled.
"Okay shortie." |
"I'm not short, either! I'm 5"7!" she said, getting a little ticked off.

He sighed.
"Take a joke, sheesh!" |
"I'm not very good with jokes," she said, blushing a dark scarlet.

He smiled and wrapped an arm around her.
"I'm sorry fair maiden, would you accept this gift?" He pulled out a pearl necklace. |

Hikari smiled. "It's beautiful, Hiroku," she said accepting the beautiful necklace. |
He went to her back and held up her hair.

Hikari blushed, and fastened the necklace around her neck. "Th-thank you so much, Hiroku," she stammered, turning around and hugging him.

He smiled.
"No problem." |
Hikari blushed, and reluctanly went back to her work.

He sighed and sat and watched her. |
After she finished her homework, Hikari looked up to see if Hiroku was still there, and he was. "Getting bored yet?" she asked, frowning a little.. She didn't want to bore him... AT ALL.

He smiled.
"No, you know, I've been a senior 57 times in a row, I could do that without thinking." |

Hikari laughed a little. "You poor guy. You mush have a closet full of class rings," she said with a laugh. "It's really easy for me, I guess. Mabye I should go into Honors..." she said, pondering the fact, then she shook her head. "No, the regular classes are way more fun, so never mind," she said, laughing. |
He smiled and stood up. He walked to the books again.

He grabbed another vampire book and sat next to her, reading.
