The trees bent in the force of the wind as she ran from the storm that chased her with its pelting rain and freezing wind that cut her to the bone. It was noon but looked to be midnight with the thickness of the clouds and if felt like mid-winter though it was barely August.

She’d been on a walk, looking for flowers to bring her ailing mother when the dark ominous clouds had opened up upon her with a blinding flash of light and booming thunder that scared her witless. The little girl ran headlong through the forest not knowing where she ran to but hoping to find some place that was properly safe from the monsters that slunk from their lairs during the night hours. She dodged to the side narrowly avoiding the teeth of an unknown predator and pushed herself harder as she now had to run from the storm and the unknown animal.

A blue flash as she glanced over her shoulder told her she was being pursued by a pack of hungry starving wolves, roughly ten pairs of eyes was what she counted in the brief flare of blue. She dodged through the trunks jumping over fallen trees and dead stumps, ducking under low branches, barely noticing when she burst through a blackberry thicket coming away with scratches and cuts that would sting later. Her clothes were torn at by the many fingers that reached out to grab her as she raced, terrified, through the trees finally being swooped up by a large man with an axe and a gun.

The man pulled the gun from his back and quickly shot each wolf square in the chest instantly killing them with nearly impossible precision. The last wolf flopped and she turned to look at her father, smiling when-
Kana woke with a start as she always did from the nightmare that had plagued her dreams for nearly fourteen years. She sat up and rubbed her face thinking of what had happened all those years ago.

Her father had been smiling at her, then, as she felt his body hit by an unrecognizable force, he fell, shocked, dropping her and rolling to his back staring at her with the blank empty eyes of a newly made corpse. She’d screamed and run to the house only to find her mother already dead and the dark figure of a stranger grabbing her and slipping a burlap bag over her head. She’d fought with all the strength a seven year old girl could muster but to no effect.

Over time she’d learned to trust her captor being taken in as one of their own and taught the trade of assassination. She was taught by one of the best assassins in the land and was quickly becoming better than him.

Kana swung her legs over the edge of the bed and padded down the hall to the kitchen to find out what kind of new additions had been brought in tonight. Every night at least one person not needing assassination was brought back to be raised or sheltered until they could get back into society and live independent lives or be trained as assassins.

I want it to be a semi-literate rp meaning “” for speech and ‘’ or italics for thought, spelling and grammar should be clearly understandable but a mistake will not be frowned upon, everyone forgets or misses a keystroke here and there. Profiles are not required but make sure you put the info covered on the profiles into the text somewhere.

Bio: Ravenel grew up in a small pack of coyotes. She grew up thinking life was pretty much the strongest survives. Bio: Until she was seven she had no idea her parents might be important people. Her father was a Duke and her mother, being married to him, became a Duchess. She's lived at the Caverns ever since she was brought there when her parents were killed. She was born as a Seer, and since the time she was four she was labeled the best of all the Seers.
Other: Seers can, if they so wished, find almost anything about a person, instantly so long as they know the person’s name, age and their parent’s names, this ability prevents many people from trusting them. All Seers have reflective eyes, making it hard for them to hide their ability. Not all Seers have the same color eyes; the color and amount of reflectivity determined how good one was at finding that information. White Opal eyes happen to be the rarest of all the colors and means their owners are the strongest of all the Seers.
Appearance:Opal eyes that reflect the light off to bounce it back onto the walls and floor in little rainbows if the light's bright enough. The color also shifts in the light like a true Opal. Her hair is iridescent black and she is small, standing at a height of 5ft, is fit but still endowed. Her clothes are a type of tight, shiny black leather, made to be absolutely silent and stay close to the body preventing it from catching on things. Kana rarely waers shoes.

The world is like ours and has the same problems. The counrty where Kana lives runs on a feudal system that went bad several hundred years ago. The Assassin's Guild was created roughly fifty years after that and when they had their homes burned the founders of the guild moved it to the Caverns. The Caverns is just a system of caves and cliffs that've been modified to create a living space, better than most homes. It is very well lit where it needs to be, has places for fires in the winter and is cool during the summer. The Caverns are located at the edge of the capital city. The capital city is called Metsa and is known as a forest city which means the city was built around the trees and is hidden amongst them.

Ask for anything else you might need to know.

Alana sat in her area she had carved to create herself her own little room. It consisted of a bed and a fireplace. She loved it. It was cozy and made her happy. She had a few books she read from time to time. Her hand went to her necklace and a tear fell down her cheek. All she knew is it had been her mothers. When she was younger she had been taken in by these assassins and raised as one. She remembered the sadness of her parents death. She shook her head

"No." She told herself "Don't think about it. Crying is weak and you are not weak." She stood up and walked out into the main cavern.

"Hey donnie" She called out to her neighbor. They were good friends and right now Donnie was getting off of watch duty.

He smiled at her "Yo Lana. Hows it hangin babe."

She hated when he called her babe. It made her feel like a child. But no matter how often she told him to stop he would never listen to her. So she just smiled and said.

"Pretty good Don. Just heading out to guard duty." She smiled. Guard duty was fun because she got to work with F'lar. She had always had a crush on him. He was cute and had curly black hair. He was tall with almond shaped green eyes.

Donnie chuckled "I just got off theres supposed to be a raid tonight so goodluck. Your gonna need it." He went into his room and went to bed.

Alana went to the entrace of the caverns and sat on the guard stool. She placed her bow and arrows next to her on the ground within easy reach and looking over at F'lar she said

"Hi F'lar hows it goin?" She smiled sweetly at him her mind racing.

"Its fine Alana just fine." F'lar replied. He never did talk much. She sighed and spent her time looking outside for the first sign of trouble.

(hope its ok I made up a ton of npcs. lol)

A tough looking coyote weaved through the trees as she came up the guard gate she noticed two people. She reconized both of them F'lar she could never remember how to say his name and Alana. Easy to remember since she spent most of her time staring at the other one. Shaking out the her fur the female coyote walked up to them and as she trotted up morphed into a thin average girl. Well built with long black hair, tan skin and stunning green eyes. "What'z up?" She asked as she walked over and leaned against a tree near by. "You two look like a couple of dead frogs. Not moving but still showing ya true colors baby dolls. You need to liven things up a bit so people don't think they can just come up here and bust in." She stated.

She smirked some and walked over patting Alana on the head. "Aw...All grown up. Do you have a crush on your guard mate?" She asked with a childish grin.

She found a little girl the age of five sitting at a table all alone, waiting to be sent somewhere so Kana approached her, and sent the girl to her own room until a better one could be found for her, earning a glare for her trouble. Put off, Kana wandered about the Caverns for a few minutes before eventually ending up by the entrance to the caverns and mulling about while she tried to decide where she really was going.

Her bare feet made no noise as she moved quietly to Alana and Ravenel after deciding the answer was nowhere, smiling as she heard them talking and waiting in the shadows for a few moments before stepping out and wincing when the moonlight bounced off her eyes and reflected brightly onto the floor, still making a statement with that small amount of light by magnifying it and bouncing it back onto any nearby surfaces.

“Hey.” She gave a small wave as she shifted from foot to foot, trying to warm them as the froze one at a time. “Anything new?” She stared at them expectantly still waiting for the typical reactions that usually occurred when people found out she was a Seer.

Alana growled softly biting out onto Ravenels arm. "Don't presume to treat me like a lesser one again." She told her wiping her mouth still glaring at her "No one treats me like im inferior to them."

F'lar was laughing at that. "Thats Alana for you. She takes offence to everything." He looked over at Ravenel and smiled at her "Be careful around her she didnt earn her nickname offensive for nothin."

Alana nodded as Kana came up to them and F'lar managed a soft "Hello"

Kaden darted through the trees, three men below in hot pursuit. He barely dodged bullets and tranquilizer darts as they came flying up from the hot metal barrels. Kaden took a glance back right before a tricky jump, flipping as he became airborne. The sound of a gunshot rang through the clearing and Kaden's eyes widened with pain as the bullet hit it's mark. He barely landed on the far branch before another silver bullet dug it's way into his flesh. He grunted in pain and fell to the ground below, landing on his feet, but swaying as he stared down the three thugs.

The smallest of the three stepped forward and Kaden gripped his sword as the man raised his gun once more. His eyes narrowed as he saw the man's finger start to pull the trigger, and charged forward, taking the bullet to the shoulder as he cut the man down with crimson and moonlit silver. He turned and blocked a dart from another gun with the flat of his blade, sending it careening into the dark trees as he slew the gunman with one blow. The third thug stood with a trembling gun and wide eyes, he barely touched the trigger before death came upon him just as it did the others.

Kaden flicked the blood off his blade and sheathed it, wincing in pain as blood seeped further over his clothing. He drew in ragged breaths as he stepped back and darted into the trees, setting his pale eyes on the cliffs high above the forest.

Ravenel looked at her arm and growled. "Don't make me take out one of your stupid little eyes. I'm not assuming you immature punk Its OBVIOUS you like him. Your just not wise enough to realize you stair all the time." She said with clinched fists. "And if you didn't act immature and infearier I wouldn't treat you like you were. I'm not someone you want to mess with." She stated with bared teeth. It was true Ravenel was short tempered and she was a fast acting well trained assassin who liked beating people to a pulp and leaving them on the road to die. Looking up she backed off a little from Alana.

"Hello." She stated knowing the new company well enough not to be surprised. Her anger was still boiling. Her blood turning from the reaction of Alana. "I was joking by the way turd monkey." She said before she turned her head hearing something in the distant forest below. She counted shots and mumbled something. "Kana who's out tonight?" She asked quickly thinking of so many new tracking skills she could use. Plus she had a feeling whomever was down there was now injured, if they were part of the guild that is.

“You two might want to avoid each other if you’re going to bicker like that when you meet.” She suggested before continuing. “What if one of the Masters finds you two biting on each other and such?” Usually when a Master did find it, the two people bickering were sent to the stables and had to muck stalls for a week.

Kana ghosted the edge and stared out over the forest, toes hanging over that edge as she felt the night air, deciding if she wanted to go out. Kana thought for a moment before she rattled off a list of names, ending with Weaver, the only female Master Assassin in the Caverns and her own personal teacher. “Those are the ones who told me but there could be youngsters that snuck out.” She told Ravenel, as she rubbed her arms to warm herself from the chill of the night air. “I think I was just heading out too but I know I’m not going out there alone right now.” She turned to face the others, playing with a long thin, gold knife on her leather belt. It had been her mothers and Kana never let it leave her company.

Alana immediatly felt sorry for biting Ravenel. Her werewolf instincts were getting worse for tommarrow was the full moon. She got up and looked at Ravenel's arm.

"I apologize tommarrow is the full moon you know I get testy around this time."

She licked the wound and watched as it healed. She sat back down looking at Kana.

"No one has left since I showed up for duty."

F'lar looked at them a moment and said "I saw someone leave. Kaden did he had to go run an errand he told me. He had been spending a lot of time out and about I thought that he had a girlfriend."

F'lar smiled at Alana "Dont worry I beilive you dont have a crush on me. Or stare at me to much. Besides I dont date everyone knows that."

Ravenel looked at Alana. She sighed and looked at her arm. "Uck Wolf germs." She joked rubbing her arm off on her shirt. "Yeah girl you need to get that under control I mean I was like that for the first year and all but come on. Now I'm just a hot tempered pain in the ass." She stated with a smile. Frowning when she heard F'lar she socked him square in the jar. "Dumb ass you don't say that to a girl who admires you, you say, "Well don't worry I don't take her words to heart.' Or something like that you don't have to smash their hopes." She said with a slight growl. "Oh...sorry." She said calming down. "Maybe I haven't learned all the way. Anyway I'm going to go see who's down there." She said running to the edge and jumping off.

Ravenel was reckless to say the least. A riot to be around. "Whoooeee!" She screamed before howling. She slid down the side of the cliff landing short on a ledge. "Ah damn I never land on my feet." She said getting up and brushing off. She then hopped off again disappearing into the thick darkened canopy of the forest below. Landing, kind of slopply on the ground she looked around. "Hello?" She asked perking up her ears for a listen.

Kaden leaned against the dark trunk of the tree, teeth clenched as he used a small knife to dig the silver bullets out of his flesh, the sizzling sound they made as they ate away at his undead body was amplified as it echoed off the trees. He grunted as he got the first one out, letting it fall far below, hearing it bounce off the lower branches then thud to the loam covered ground.

He was about to start to dig the one out of his shoulder when he heard a crashing tumble of rocks and a howl-like voice. He stared down, his pale eyes gleaming in the light of the moon as he searched for the cause of the sound.

Alana and F'lar sighed as they got up to follow her. It was after all there job to look for suspicious characters. Hence why they were guards at that moment. They headed into the bushes looking for anything suspicious. They could smell someone but couldn't quit see anyone. They stood underneath the tree he was in looking for the person they knew they smelt. They could not see anyone.

"Do you see anything?" asked F'lar

"No I don't but someone is here." Alana replied.

Kana followed them, slower, less noticeable. She glared about at having to walk alone, walking smoothly through the trees as she listened carefully for where they went. The young woman stared up through the trees, a few yards away from Alana and F’lar after finding the silver bullet, trying to find where it might have come from, always looking up first, but was too distracted by the familiar unease she felt at finding someone new outside the caves where her eyes were the most reflective. There was no way for her to hide the fact that she was a Seer when she was outside.

She blinked a few time, taking a step back when the trees came into focus past the small rainbows of light and she saw him. She turned her gaze down to block the amount of light that bounced away and sighed, calming herself when the unease turned to dread. She’d been attacked many times before just because she happened to have the infamous Opal eyes that so many people distrusted and she was very wary of people she didn’t know.

Kaden heard the rustle of movement down below him and could smell it was a human. He took the sleeve he had torn off earlier and bound his leg with it, ignoring the burning in his shoulder as best he could for the moment. He silently sheathed the small knife and drew his twin daggers, the curved blades shimmering in the moonlight.

He crouched on the branch, taking in a sharp breath as the injured leg muscle stretched and burned. The light of the near-full moon let him see the ground below with acute detail, but not what happened next. His eyes widened as light shone up at him, hurting his nightwalker's eyes and causing him to cry out in alarm and shift back, hiding in the shadows of the branches

Ravenel looked around and listened she heard something small fall from a tree and followed the sound ending around the same tree that it came from. She looked around until she found what made the noise a small silver bullet that was almost invisable in the undergrowth of the forest. "Ouch that'll put someone in a bad mood." She said sniffing it. "Fresh..." She smelt the air a bit. "Vampire..." She said getting a bit edgy. "Hellooo....anyone there." She asked smelling blood in the air. "Maybe they don't speak English." She suggested to herself carefully pulled a dagger out of her boot before continuing. The smell wasn't on the ground so it had to be from the trees.


Sighing she looked up focasing her eyes on anything strange in the trees. "Any new assassins up their in need of help?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Her ears weren't waiting for a reply she was waiting for them to jump behind her and attack her. Expect the unexpected.

“Sorry! I didn’t get anything, I promise!” Kana called, quickly stepping back into deeper darkness, past the reach of the light to allow herself a second look. Taking out her gold knife so she could protect herself from any hungry predators that might try to sneak up and attack, she looked at the same place that she thought she saw him in, frowning and backing up against a tree defensively when she didn’t find him.

She watched Ravenel waiting for a few moments before revealing herself to the other, feeling a little better now that she had a few people to help her incase the person turned out to hate Seers. “I thought I saw someone up there, and heard something but I haven’t been able to find them since. I don’t think they like my eyes.”She said, not coming completely from the shadows but moving until she knew her eyes would shine in the dark.

They heard people talking and followed the voices. They stood behind Ravenel.

"Whats going on?" F'lar asked. "Whos there and do we need to alert everyone?" He waited for her answer. Boy she did have one sexy body.

Alana stood behind F'lar waiting for Ravenal to answer.

Ravenel looked releaved to see Kana. "Its ok don't worry stay with us." She said softly. "Maybe we should try and do this a little slower they're hurt and probably don't feel very safe." She thought for a moment before looking back at F'lar. "Looks like we have a vampire in a tree, hit I'm guessing a few times with silver bullets." She said holding the one she found on the forest floor up. "With I'm guessing a couple weapons on them so we don't want to spook um." She said motioning up to the tree with an idea.

"Oi what if we swear on our guild not to hurt them until they're wounds are tended to or they attack us?" She suggested not knowing why she didn't think of that first.

Kana came the rest of the way out of the shadows after a few minutes and glanced around, before sighing at Ravenel. “Are you sure they’re still there?” she glanced up at the tree but back down to Ravenel, yawning, “I haven’t heard anything in a while, but then again my ears aren’t as good.” She paced around the space between the trees, sheathing her dagger and moving about restlessly as she tried to stay awake. She’d been up most of the day and had just gone to sleep roughly an hour before her nightmare had woken her and she was quickly tiring again.

Kaden moved to stand, letting out a quiet hiss as his leg burned again. He kept to the shadows, spotting out the young assassins on the ground. He silently moved downwards, getting closer to inspect, blade at the ready. He could only assume they were of the assassin's guild he was trying to reach, but he was too paranoid to let his guard down that easily. "Which one of you is the leader of your squad?" He called out, his low voice seeming to roll through the air, wrapping around them as if he was right next to them. It was a simple vampire trick, but it kept them on their toes and him in control.
