Hirogashi sighed and looked over at Tabby,"I don't like him because he's annoying. He doesn't know when to shut his trap." He ignored the fact that Akuma was right next to him. He didn't care much about what other people though about him, so whatever Akuma would say, he'd most likely brush it off.

Akuma sighed, Hirogashi was ignoring him again...and somebody was watching them and it was grating on all his senses to go check it out.

Hoping that perhaps her mother would fixate on the position she’d been standing in, the half breed decided to take off. She nearly ran towards a random direction, not realizing she was heading the same direction as Ai and the garden. She simply knew the sound of running water might sooth her. She hadn’t tried outrunning her mother yet… so what the hell she’d try. Normally she wasn’t that determined to avoid her high strung mother but she was simply not in the mood to deal with anyone. Her quick sprint combined with her long legs drove her easily towards the garden and she half began to enjoy it. It felt so good to run, just run. It was beginning to make her draw a little back into the world and from the inner turmoil… Just in time to see she was going to run right into Ai. “Not you” she stated in an annoyed tone even as she slammed into him and gripped his hoodie in an attempt to regain her balance only for both of them to fall and her to fall right on top of him. And as if this was not lovely enough her mother happened to appear right in front of them right now, a look of horror on her face that almost matched the embarrassment on Kari. Kari nearly whimpered the word No as her mom began to nearly screech, “In the name of god Kari Oriella Neveah what are you doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” |
"He seems pretty cool to me" tabby said, she knew there was more and Hirogashi wasnt telling her. she forced herself to let go of the bench. on the bottom there was eight fingertip shaped marks. she looked from akuma and hirogashi again the red in her hair seemed to glow. she sighed.

Alora watched how the two guys went around the girl. Wow she thought, what a school. She thought they were probably wanting one of them to go away so the other can be with the girl. Alora moved closer peeking around the wall and he black nails contrasting with the whiteness.

Ai was in pain for once, his head had collided with the floor rather...hard. But he pushed the pain to the back of his head as he realized Kari hadn't gotten off of him, in fact she had stilled altogether. And then his world had exploded as a voice suddenly shouted “In the name of god Kari Oriella Neveah what are you doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” And then Ai was yanked into the air by his collar, his hood having fallen completely off again.

Normally she’d say that Ai wasn’t an it he was a who type crack but she’d never seen her mother this angry or scared. Kari gave Ai a look that few had ever seen on her face, one of deep genuine apology. She didn’t know what to explain first as her mother began to continue her scratching shout while holding the collar of Ai. “Mo-” “How could you do this? Your heritage? You … you chase after this…this thing! A creature of darkness like your father? Do you really hate me that much my daughter?” “mom, I” “How could you? Are you dating this creature? Sleeping with this…this vampire.!” Her mothers voice was getting higher and higher and higher, and kari getting more and more frustrated. Suddenly Kari leaned close to Ai and whispered quickly so only he could hear “I’m really sorry about this…and what I’m about to do…” She then leaned forward and kissed him square on the lips, a quick kiss but enough of one that her mother’s jaw dropped and she went silent for long enough that Kari could speak. “His name is Ai, I fell on him, this was an accident….. Now will you please get to the forgiving and let go of the poor boy? If you don‘t I‘ll kiss him again!” She stated slightly defiantly to her mother, stepping away from Ai and for once looking positively shy and embarrassed…and still shooting Ai ‘I’m sorry’ looks. She liked to play games but nobody deserved her mother behaving like this… |
Hirogashi could hear a screeching in the distance, by the garden and wanted to know what it was. He flew into the air and over to the garden, where he found Kari laying on the ground with Ai being held up by some women standing in front of them both. He landed next to them, rubbing his ears from the screeching,"What the hell is that noise?"

Ai sighed again, "Of course, since I'm part vampire you instantly infer that I'm dark and dangerous." He reached up a hand and brushed aside his hair so that Kari's mother could see the cross earring hanging on his ear, he was careful to hide the darker cuff on his ear though and his second peircing so she couldn't see them. "My father might have been a vampire, but my mother was not a light bender for nothing."

Tabby winced when she heard a screech and her teeth clenched together, "what is that!?" she almost screamed. her wince made her fall of the bench and hit her head on the tree. she saw stars and she shook her head, "ow" she growled

Alana smiled at Kage "Its nothing. I gotta go to my room." She took off running unsure of her own feelings or what to do about what was going on. She went into the library and began reasearch again. She was looking for that spell she had heard of before.

Akuma winced at the screech that wrenched at the air but when he saw Tabitha hit her head, he completely ignored his own discomfort and bent down and pressed his own hands to her ears, "See now it doesn't hurt as much." He said smiling, and then winced as another screech tore at his eardrums.

Kari winced as Hiro appeared and it was clear that all she wanted to do was disappear, but she had to talk her mother down first….considering that she seemed to be thinking that Ai was like her father and there was no telling what she might do. Her mother was the picture of why all rape victims should get counseling, even if they are a particularly powerful angel. As he showed the crosses her mother hissed, “Even her father, the beast, has worn crosses. I don’t care what your mother was, You’ve no business near my daughter, the terror you could produce….I will not allow it.” Kari growled a little, her anger getting the best of her. “A terror? Oh you mean like me? Mom, I’m not even dating the guy, He and the hero over here hate me and find me as annoying as Uncle Gabriel finds me now just calm down!” Her mother realized what she’d said where her daughter could hear it and flushed, setting Ai down but still glaring at him with a slight glow around her as if she wanted to attack him. |
Tabitha looked at him, "Cover your own ears dude" she slipped her own hands under his to cover her ears, the screeching was unbarable. she looked at akuma to make sure he wasnt going deaf from the screeches. as another screech made her clutch at her head her nails digging slowly into her head. she wasnt sure if she was bleeding she really didnt care anymore.

Hirogashi could sense that Kari's mother was an angel and practically growled at her from being so close to him,"Why the hell is a follower of The Lord here? I thought he only sent them within twenty miles of me to try and kill me?" As a Fallen Hirogashi was usually hunted by angels. It was annoying at first, but then he found it quite fun to fight off other angels.

Akuma grit his teeth and then placed his hands over Tabitha's, "Not trying to play hero, my eardrums will heal not sure about yours." He stated.
Ai was beyond pissed now. His hands clenched unconciously as he laid apathetic eyes on the angel, "I don't care who you are, even if you're her freakin' mother. Back off, right now." Somewhere along the line he had gotten attached to Kari's teasing and now...well this was to much. "And if you so much as lay a finger on Hirogashi i swear..." |
“I do not waste my time on such Fallen as you, I was here to discuss something with my daughter… but it seems I should have been warning her about what types of creatures go to this school. I thought she’d be smart enough not to trust them.” the angel hissed without even looking at Hiro. Kari shook her head a little and sighed, giving Hiro a helpless sort of shrug. “Mom… “ she stated softly, it becoming very clear that one reason she was so flamboyant was it was the only way to get her moms attention. As Ai grew even more angry then Kari felt even worse. She loved her mother but when it came to those who had dark blood she was nutz. She only trusted Kari because she figured the purity of the angel side would balance her…and well she did love her daughter even if it didn’t show it…ever. “Mom, I get it, Just ……. Stop it. Remember what you have promised” She finally said with a tired sigh, stepping protectively in front of both of the two men, with her hands in front of her. “If you don’t I’ll spend the summer with dad instead.” She stated as she put her hands on her hips. For a moment the angel and the Halfling staring down one another. Her mother finally turned away, running a hand through her flowing, long blond hair. “I… I need you to give this to your father next time you see him… I also suspect he shall visit you soon… I just wanted to warn you.” She stated and pushed a small package into her daughter’s hands. “Why can’t you find some friends of light” her mother said with a sigh before growing her own white wings and beginning to disappear in light. Kari simply stared at the grass, looking ashamed.... mainly of her mother |
Tabitha looked at him her ruby red eyes searching his face for any reason he was doing this she couldnt read his facial expression. "your gonna go deaf" she said in her small bell-like voice. she finally felt alittle pain where her nails dug into her head, blood dripped from the claw marks.

Ai's hand flew to his head and he groaned after Kari's mother left. His other hand went to the second piercing on his ear, a dark red stud that was now pulsing a bright red. "I...think it best...if you...leave the area...now." Ai spit out from clenched teeth, "This is why I hate...emotions...ugh." He fell to his knees.
Akuma grinned at Tabitha, "Don't worry 'bout it." After the area went silent he cautiously removed his hands, worried the screeching might start up again. After he was sure it was safe he pulled on Tabitha's wrists to see the small crescent shaped wounds she had left on the sides of her head. |
Tabitha looked at her fingertips, "oh" was all she said as she looked at the bright red blood on them. looking at Akuma she smiled, "well at least the screeching stopped." she could feel the claw marks pulsing on the side of her head. she sighed, "are they still bleeding" she asked calmly

Akuma slowly leaned forward and his tongue darted out, licked each of the small marks before taking out a small handkerchief and wiping them off. "They were, but they should be fine now." He murmured, face starting to heat up. "L-look I'm s-sorry I don't know what came over me, I-i don't do that normally, and and I might be half vampire but I won't attack you or anything I-I just...ya'know."

Hirogashi looked up, at the heavens,"Hey, just because I'm a Fallen doesn't mean I still can't be a good guy. I still have my angel powers!" He groaned loudly, then cursed inwardly for leaving Tabby with Akuma,"Son of a... I gotta go." He flew back up into the air and back to where Tabby and Akuma were. When he landed, he stumbled forward because of the rush he was in,"So, are you OK Tabby?"
