It had been expected, but it sure wasn't comfortable.

Sienna rose unsteadily to her feet - or, should she say, paws - with shaking limbs, feeling completely bewildered. She'd never felt any sensation like it before in her life, nor did she ever want to experience it again. She was going to experience it though, obviously. Possibly for the rest of her life.

The reddish-brown wolf let out a deep sigh, before trudging unsteadily towards a tiny patch of sunshine that had somehow managed to appear in the few minutes it had taken the sun to rise a few inches in the pale sky. She might as well get a little sleep before the sun rose. With no idea of what to expect, or what in hell she was going to do now, Sienna slowly closed her eyes, and drifted into the one place she knew she would be safe...

Paul nodded, remebering that animals can't change hands "Nice to meet you Akemi.' Paul stood still and shivered when Akemi mentioned people getting shocked to death. Paul was drifting off in his thought when Akemi asked him a question. "Well the zookeepers were saying something about a Chinese Mountain Cat, or something like that, I guess its a rare species, personally I think I look like a mix between a bobcat and a raccon." Paul replied laughing wearly finally sitting down "I guess its better than a reptile or something." the little cat said calmly, but nervously.

Akemi laughed with Paul, agreeing. The little fellow was cute for an animal. "I'm glad they won't have that problem figuring out what I am, ne? Though I've always hated this form because of the eye color. I like my eyes to stay yellow." Akemi hoped he hadn't scared the little guy with the whole speech about others getting shocked to death. Paul seemed a little nervous, though he didn't know from what - he'd have to find out later.

Akemi rolled over onto his back, stretching his paws out into the air. He loved stretching in this form, it helped him relax a little more. I wonder if the zookeepers would mind scratching my back for me...

Paul replied "Well at least you're a tiger, you could kill a zoo keeper easily, I on the other hand would just give him a little scratch." Paul said with a weary laugh. Stretching like a everyday house cat groaned "I always feel so stiff in this fo-" his sentance stop abrutly when he saw a zoo keeper walk by, he stared at the zoo keeper with his petrified bright green eyes, holding his breath as if the zoo keeper was death itself.

The zoo keeper passed by but Paul seemed a little uneasy, he lowered his tail and his head in dismay "I still haven't gotten used to those p-people." he said outloud shivering.

Akemi rolled back over and eyed the zoo keeper as he passed by Paul's cage. "I guess I could try killing a zoo keeper, though I wouldn't, without logical reason. As far as not being used to them, you will eventually. They stare at you for a minute and then walk away. Just think of them like us, except for they turn to animals at night, when they go home and hide. It helped me when I was first formed." Akemi looked over at Paul and gave a warning growl. "The zoo keeper's going to come back any minute now. Also.. there's going to be a hell of a lot of people out here taking pictures of you, trying to feed you, trying to touch you, trying to make you mad, dance, whatever they want to please themselves. If you need me to scare them off or something just say the word. I can make looking like I'm about to tear down the cage pretty believable. Natural born actor, my parents used to say."

(so it will be morning soon i guess??)

(It's already morning xD The sun rose a few posts ago ^^)

Sienna hardly stirred as she heard the first few sounds of early visitors; they weren't very loud. She could tune them out.

Or at least, she could when she had been human. Now she heard everything. One of her reddish-brown ears twitched, as if it were shaking off a fly. How annoying. She'd hardly slept for ten minutes.

Kimmora woke uo and rubbed her eyes with a furry hand "i hate mornings both then AND now".
she sat up nearly drowning in her trench coat she crawled out from under it "though i never had that problem before".
she stood up feeling small again and she walked to the window and saw some people were already in the zoo.
"I never get up early enough to beat the visitors gosh these people are early riseres".
Kimmora jumped out the window nd swung from a branch for a bit so she could get back into the feel of being a monkey then sat on the wooden plank that went over the tree branches.

Conrad was reluctant to leave the warmth of his coat behind, with it and his fur it kept his quite warm. He climbed out the neck hole and did his best to push it into the back of the den. It had a rock floor so it wasn't too dirty.

He then moved out to the bars, sitting there with his tail curled against him.

Akemi got up off the ground and walked around his cage, eyeing the people who'd already come into the zoo. "It's WAY too early for them to be out here. Back in the other zoo there was at least another hour before they came," Akemi said to everyone, but no one in general. A few stopped by his cage and pointed at him, saying something about his eyes. "They're blue. Like yours. Move on. Nothing special," Akemi growled.

Kimmora noticed that a group had formed around her pen "why must you all be so interested in monkeys really people go see the bats or something".
Not understanding her the people just though it was cute and some of the parents said to their children look the monkey is saying hi wave to her.
Kimmora just watched the children wave with smiles on their faces she waved back tilting her head "your lucky you kids are so cute or i would so be back in my tree house.
Kimmora leaped and grabbed onto a tree branch and swung from branch to branch towards the cage bars.
One of the children stuck their hand in the cage when his parents wer'nt looking so she just shook one his fingers but once she did other children poked their hands in the cage but the parents were now awear of what the kids were doing as sternly told them not to put fingers in cages because gosh knows if the thing was sick.
"im not ill or deadly dumb parents" she rolled her eyes and saw the same boys from yesterday throwing popcorn in her cage "might as well have some fun today" she walked up to the popcorn and picked up a few pieces when they were looked away she threw the popcorn back at the boys laughing when they turned to see the monkey smiling at them she just threw some more at them "not so fun is it" she said to them as they just looked at her dumb struck.

Akemi looked around and heard a monkey somewhere off in the distance. He could see down there where they kept the monkeys and that the monkey had just thrown popcorn at some boys who'd thrown it at the monkey. "Need help over there?" Akemi roared. Of course the humans would think he was upset or something, but the monkey would be able to understand him.

Paul listened to Akemi calmly and started to feel a little less nervous, he still didn't like the idea of people looking at him all day. The cat grinned at Akemi's statement about scaring people if Paul got annoyed of them. "Thanks" Paul replied. Oddly enough right after thanking Akemi a group of visitors came up to Paul's cage and started to examine him, he could hear their taunts and compliments "Aww look at the little kitty, he looks so fuffy" 'Looks like a ugly raccon." "I wonder what the heck it is." Paul narrowed his eyes at their comments and sneered at them calmly remembering that he had to get used to them, though from a view point he just looked like a house cat trying to act like a lion, the jeers from visitors continued on.

Kimmora looked up and saw the person talking to her she smiled "maybe these three boys have been bugging the zoo animals for a few days now and i figured they desrved some fun poked at them as well right?"
She jumped up onto the tree branches dodging the popcorn they were throwing back at her.
she turned her head towards them "you boys have aweful aim" turned her head back and switched tree branches again to as close as she could get the the animal talking.
"do you have anything in mind" she laughed "because anything we could come up with would be good" she looked back they were just kind of looking at her.
"do you think they know that monkey's are the closest thing to humans the animal kingdom has if so then they shouldnt be to embaressed that they were outsmarted by one"

Akemi got closer to the bars, trying to get closer to the monkey. "I can fake breaking out of my cage, and getting their attention over here. If that would help any? I'm used to people looking at me. I have a good temper. I can keep calm through almost anything." He turned around and looked at Paul, trotting over to those bars near him and laid down, grinning at him. Was he starting to like Paul? Ah...

He looked the other way and noticed other tigers and muttered a 'hello' to them.

Kimmora just smiled "nah im good i can handle these three"
she looked at them they were still looking at her "besides it's fun to bother the bothers" she turned around "talk to you later" she stopped as she hung from a branch by her feet toes tightly wrapped around the branch "im Kimmora by the way".

"Nice to meet you. I'm Akemi. It means something like 'Beauty of dawn' in Japanese. And I really like sweets." Akemi smiled back at Kimmora. He guessed she was female by the pitch of the voice. She had a nice name herself.

He turned back to Paul, who was narrowing his eyes and sneering. He looks cute when he does that. Oh geez. Akemi put his head in his paws, wondering when he would get fed next. He rolled over on his back and stretched his paws in the air, and then let them hang as he relaxed. Maybe I could get them to understand me somehow. I wonder if they'll end up trying to mate me. Is that even possible? For animals like I to have children? I've always wanted a kid or two. Akemi growled as he felt his stomach growl. Hurry up with the food already! Sheesh.

It wasn't until someone poked her that Sienna really woke up.

A snarl, a very strange sound to be coming from the throat of a once-human girl, ripped through her chest as her muscles bunched against her will. An automatic thing. She leapt to her paws and held her ground against whatever had disturbed her... which was a stick.

No, even better than that. A ten-year-old boy holding a stick. Fantastic.

"Shouldn't a kid like you be asleep at this hour?" Sienna growled. Then she jumped, shocked; her voice sounded the way it always had, but it was somehow... different. What was with that? She only had a half-second to muse before she heard the tinkling laughter of the boy. It was a fairly feminine laugh. It sounded strange in these ears.

The boy's laughter was cut off when his mother finally came to scold him. That was when Sienna recieved another great shock; she could barely understand what the woman was saying. She could hear the words, but she almost couldn't process their meaning. But it was English! She could tell that through the strange, foggy words, but she could hardly make anything else out. What the hell?

"Where'd you get this stick?" Sienna just managed to hear; the woman's voice sounded very strange, like she was hearing it over a huge distance. But every other sound was clear and sharp. Strange. "It's dangerous. Don't poke the animals like that; they might bite you!"

Sienna hesitated as the woman and her son walked away, the woman still scolding. She could still hear the human's voices, but they were just as muffled. Was that natural, or was there something wrong with her? After thinking for a few more moments, Sienna decided to explore her cage. She may as well; there was nothing else to do, and she might as well move about to stretch her legs and give the guests something to look at.

Kimmora looked out the corner of her eye she could see the zoo keeps with food for the 'animals'.
"finally some food" as she said that she remembered the pretzles she had stashed in her tree house she looked up and figured they were hidden by her coat.
"oh well pretzles are not a morning food more of a lunch thing" as the zoo keeper she had found out was named Kalvin from the chit chat he had with the other zoo keepers he was younger than most so he wasnt as stern but he did treat her like welll an animal.
as he unlocked and opened a hatch in the back of her cage he tossed in her food which was a few bannanas, mangos a couple apples some carrots and a bowl of sunflower seeds and peanuts.
Kimmora walked up to the food as soon as the zoo keeper had left and locked the hatch moving on to the next pen she picked up a handfull of sunflower seeds and popped one into her mouth at least she got to eat decent food unlike other animals like some of the bats they got bugs and snakes she shivered at the thought 'i bet they skip meals and blow all their money they get on human food.
she saw that the boys had left to bother some other animal probably the elephants or something like that and now there seemed to be a school bus pulling into the zoo parking lot "ohh joy a field trip for the morning class" she always dreaded school trips the visitors were usualy misbehaved and unwatched last time a grade two class showed up she was sitting to close to the cage bars and a stupid kid pulled on her tail.
"hopfuly this group is well mannered" slightly hoping yet highly doubting it when where young children ever behaved.

Akemi rolled over as he heard humans approaching and gathering around his cage, snapping flash pictures and throwing food on the ground for him to eat, or so they hoped.

"Mommy.. Will the big kitty try to eat me if I say hello?" A little boy asked. "No honey. The big kitty will be a nice kitty to you," the mother answered, looking at Akemi. He knew she hoped that he would make some move to acknowledge the little boy waving crazily at him. Akemi walked over to the boy and sat down in front of the bars, staring at the boy. When the boy tried to touch Akemi, he licked the boy's finger before the mother could pull him away, and scold him. "Honey! Don't do that! The big kitty will bite you if you touch him. He was that close to biting you already!"

Akemi walked off and yelped as someone grabbed his tail. Another kid, no doubt about it.. He turned around quickly, facing the kid and roared loudly in his face, making the kid cry. He turned his attention to fixing his tail as the kid cried and people walked away, shaking their heads at both Akemi and the kid for touching his tail.

My precious tail.. My poor, beautiful tail, yanked and ruffled by the damn kid..
He squinted as people got good flash shots of him. No flash, damnit! Read the cage! He growled to himself and turned away, now accessing the visitors to get good, clear shots of his rear. Not like they'd want those shots anyway, unless they're pervs and watch beastiality all day long.

Paul watched as the group of teens left him going to see other animals. The cat sighed in relief and curled up close to the edge of his cage examining the other exhibits. Most of the exhibits were crowed or deserted, lucky he was one of the deserted. Peering over at Akemi's cage he noticed that there were a army of visitors snaping pictures of him, on top of that Akemi seemed a bit frusterated with them. Paul lifted up his head and got up on all four of his paws and tried to talk to Akemi over the shouts and flashes of the cameras "Are you okay Akemi?"

Akemi looked over at Paul. "Pretty much.. That one little bastard yanked my tail. They seem interested that I sat near the little boy and licked his finger. They've been trying to get me to respond to them ever since. Yet, they're putting their damn flash on and it's blinding me." Akemi got up and went to sit next to the bars closest to Paul, facing the little cat, and his tail twitched, wagging back and forth like a dog's.

Paul sat down knowing he wouldn't have to shout anymore. Paul looked at Akemi thinking of what he could do to help and perked his ears up "Maybe I could distract them?" Paul said and started to run over to one of the trees in his cage, he started to climb and mewed loudly. A couple guests laughed "Awww a little kitty stuck in a tree." "Dear get my camera I want to use this for our christmas card." "What a weird cat, looks freaky." To get their attention even more Paul got into a pounce like postion and jumped into a tree near by, though he wasn't used to being a cat he dug his claws into the tree nicely. The visitors clapped loudly nad kept laughing, but soon they started taking pictures of him a little too much, Paul narrowed his eyes trying to keep the light from blinding him "Do they ever give up?" He pouted.

Kimmora saw the fuss over by the boy she was talking to earlier and another animal "the poor things" she thought and climbed up the tree and back to where she was earlier.
"they bothering you two because if you want i can help" she offered as she saw all the flashing going on about the two creatures.
She grabbed her cage gate with her fingers as they wrapped about the wires and leaned closer.
"they won't stop until they go home of another animal is giving them a better show" she knew a few thing because when she was on the trip here that got her kidnapped she saw the visitors and how they acted.
"that or you do something boring just don't pretend to be asleep they think its adorable and it might get worse" she ate another sunflower seed and watched as the poor animal got bombarded by camera flashes and stupid sayings from the visitors.

Akemi sighed. "Paul, I tried to warn you.. and I agree with Kimmora. These people will try to get you to do what they want to please themselves. To get you to respond and play by their rules. If you climb into that tree and stay hidden from view, they will leave you alone. I also am ignoring them, by turning my back I'm telling them to leave me alone and that I don't want to be bothered. Though, it was kind of cute when you jumped in the tree." Akemi laughed and watched the visitors make their way between the two cages.
