Macey glared at the sheep from her side of the zoo. But she was right. "For one, my name is Macey. And two, for your information, my boyfriend betrayed me. So that's why I'm here." Tears of distress had started to form at the corners of Macey's eyes, and it made it worse that she couldn't wipe them away. "But whatever. Doesn't matter now, I guess, I probably won't ever see him again since he's done this to me." By the last word, Macey had gently eased herself to the cold hard ground of her new home.

Mercedes had figured that there would probably still be a wound there, but she didn't realize how deep it had been... She felt bad, but didn't know what to say... She went back to her water dish and took a long while drinking before going back to the kids and eating some more pellets. She still felt really rotten after all this, so she climbed back up to the point where she could see the new tiger easily, "hey, Macey was it? Sorry I said anything... your boyfriend huh? That musta sucked... What was his name?"

Macey stared back at the sheep. "His name was....is Derek Freeman. He works here." She laid her head back onto her paws that lay crossed in front of her. She laid there for the longest time, just staring off into space. There really wasn't anything to do, Macey thought.

melody was looking at neo they were a tank apart and she laughed she knew it must make him feel stupid but it was funny "you know you dont have to do that its not they are making you do anything like they are making me so why do you do it." she was still waving at the people she couldnt see the one thing she could see was all the flashes from the cameras "damnit cant you read no flash photography."

Mercedes froze up and all at once, all pity she had for this girl vanished. She'd been with Dr. Freeman? Dr. Ironic???
She slowly went back to her daily routine, of eating, playing, and being lonely... She couldn't wait till night fall fell, and she was able to get out of this stupid pen!

Refusing to leave your den had a lot of perks, Conrad mused. The gawkers eventually got bored waiting for something to happen and would leave, no fuss but a quiet moan of disappointment to be heard.

He couldn't really understand what the other victims of circumstance were talking about, his exhibit being too far away to hear much of anything really...He wished the dang zoo would close already...

melody was in the special cove that they made for her and the other aquatic people traped in this hell hole. she was reading her book the first thing she asked for and got it was one of her favorites alice in wonderland she was at the first part and put the bookmark in "well i think thats enough for tonight." she closed the book and put it in the corner she called her own and dived back in the water to go up to the surface "hey everyone how are you this night."

The first thing Mercedes did every night was take a shower. As soon as she began changing, and the gate was opened, she darted out and ran right for the showers.
After her shower, Mercedes pulled on a tan silky tank-top and some loose black capris. She felt like going out tonight, and didn't know anyone who wouldn't want to tag along. She started her rounds over at the 'aquatic cove' as the water people called it. She poked her head into the cove, "Hey guys, I'm going out! Anyone wanna come?"

For the rest of the chilly January day, Macey slept. She woke up some few hours later, snuggled in the large bed laid out for her. She stretched her slender arms above her, her mouth forming a cute solid "O" as she yawned. Macey stood briefly, hardly before noticing she could stand at all. "Wait a minute......" She peered down at her body, dressed the same she had the night before. She was back, baby! She nearly whooped when she noticed a group of people standing near the zoo gates. But what surprised her most was that they were standing inside the gates waiting to get out. Macey blinked in astonishment. What was stranger was that a few of them had ears and tails, claws, fangs, and many other very anthro features. She walked out of her "cave" and into the now near pitch dark, and meandered her way towards the group with the streetlamps as her guide.

melody stayed in the water she still didnt have legs but that was fine "hey bring me back something new to read while your out." she sighed she sometimes wish she could get free from this tank but knew that she was stuck most people had legs but horns she got stuck without legs her second wish would have to have been something good to eat like "oh wait bring me back some real food not fish if you bring fish i will throw you in the water and drown you got it alright i will see you later."

Zailia looked down and found that she was nude. She laughed and shrugged. Ah well, it wasn't the first time She was nude in frond of some people she didn't know that well. She then thought about her previous career in modeling..oh how she had missed it so. She wished she were there in front of the camera, not in picture to hold various childrens memories, but to Show the world what fashion was about, and that any kind of art form was beautiful.

She hopped the extremely tall cement barrier and started off for the showers.

"Got it!" Mercedes yelled over her sholder, wondering how much Melody would protest to seafood, "do they sell dolphin at the local sea mart?" She asked one of the guards holding open the gate. She didn't expect a reply but she liked seeing the stupid zoo employees squirm, they wern't allowed to talk to any of the 'animals' and no one even knew the punishment... the talker's had never been heard from again...
Mercedes scratched her horns and wondered out loud, "what do you guys think? I was thinking some kind of 'how to take care of your fish' picture books but I donno... they don't give us much money to spend..." She pulled the money out of her pocket sadly, 20$ each...
Mercedes' mind quickly switched to something more interesting then torturing Melody, "I was thinking that we should go find a rave... I really don't want to cover my horns up tonight... I'm sure that we could find some kick ass new years parties."

Macey hopped the tall iron barrier that prevented her cat form from escape smoothly. She landed nimbly, wondering if her stealthy "cat abilities" during the day also worked their magic at night. Macey wandered towards a girl about her age that looked oddly familiar. Her mood perked up a bit. It was the sheep girl! "Hey, you!" Macey jogged a bit towards the girl, hopping she wouldn't leave without her. Macey needed some answers.

Mercedes stopped and spun around, wondering who was calling whom. She looked around and saw a girl about her age running towards her. 'Who's this?' she wondered, then she remembered the only new girl she knew. "Oh, it's you." She couldn't stop a small shudder from running down her spine, "Dr. Irony's girlfriend." She did feel a little bad, though she didn't know why... it was probably because it wasn't Macey's fault that her boyfriend was a psychopath...

Zailia walked out of the shower room looking fabulous. As if she ever didn't look fabulous. She tossed the loose curls of her light brown hair. She strutted out with a short black sequined dress that barely covered her butt. The dress was tight, amplifying all of the curves in her body. The red stiletto's were just an added bonus. She casually leaned her shoulder on the lamppost nearest to the exit. She was feeling kinda lonely. So she yelled "Hey! Is anyone here going out and partying?" Her very best smile flashed across her face. "Because i'm totally game."

Mercedes turned away from Macey and looked to Zailia, "over here Zailia! We're going out!" She turned and lead the rest of the way out of the zoo. "Neo, do you want to hold someone's hand, so you don't run into another poll?" Mercedes asked with a grin.

Zailia turned to the small group and jumped, waving and smiling "Yes!! This is going to be great!" she exclaimed. It had been a while since she went out partying, so she was very excited. She casually walked up to the other. "So where are we going...?" She flashed her signature smile.

"Grab Neo's other hand," Mercedes answered, taking one of his hands in hers as she spoke, "we don't want him getting lost -- again. We're going to find ourselves a rave! And it's gotta be a super cool new years rave! So common! Get those model legs a-movin, and find us a kickass party!" Zailia was always the best one to look for partys, considering how she was nearly the only one who'd been to a real one before the zoo, she always knew where to look, who was going where. It was amazing to watch.
