Andre smiled and chuckled as he started walking away. "Well, from a human, that's pretty good to hear." He came back a bit later with an Apple in hand and a small basket of fruit under the other. "I wasn't sure what you liked, so I grabbed as much of a variety as I could dig up." He handed her the basket, then took a bite from the apple. "Sit with me?" He found a quite place to sit and took another bite of the apple.

Holly took the basket greatfully and moved to sit down across from Andre. She reached in the basket and pulled out a Plum and placed it on the table. Holly reached back in and smiled when she found a peach. The plum and the peach were sitting on the table infront of her. She looked back and forth from one to the other. "Why couldn't they make a plum and peach put together? It would be so much easier to pick which one to eat." Holly said taking a bite of the plum then a bite of the peach.

He shook his head, digging into the apple. "So, Holly, right? Tell me about yourself. If I'm going to be training you, I might as well get to know you." He smiled, "not that getting to know you would be a bad thing otherwise."

"Yeah I'm Holly. Holly Elizabeth Wood." She said taking a quick bite of her plum then peach again. She was chewing very slowly trying to think about what to say. Holly finished chewing and looked up at Andre. "Well I've lived in the town my whole life and just started to notice vampires because a few year's ago my parent's were killed. Also I don't normally eat meat and I love the beach." Holly couldn't think of anything else very interesting about herself. "OH and my favorite color is Orange!" She said laughing. Although she notice that the first thing alot of people asked after your name was your favorite color. "anything else you want to know?" Holly asked.

He frowned. "No, nothing else. I'm sorry, by the way, about your parents. It's why I don't want to become a full Vampire. I'd have to kill someone, and steal their life essance, to achieve that. That's something I'm not ready to take lightly, especially to someone who's never done anything to me." He looked at the apple he was eating, then back at her. "And that's assuming they weren't already full vampires. Some of them seem to like to kill for the pleasure of it. Like my father." He almost spat the last words out, like they were a poison.

Holly frowned. She knew the people who killed her parents were much to strong to be only part vampires. Holly listened to him speak. "You have to kill them? You can just drink some of their blood? Well that's dumb!" She said anoyed. Who ever had come up with that wasn't very bright. "So you don't like your father, anything else Important about yourself that you want me to know?"

He smiled, realising he'd been rambling. "Well, I'm a master of 13 weapons, and trained in 30 others. I love the full moon, especially when it's shining off the lake, and I'm quite good at both the Flute and Violin." He too another bite of the apple, chewing slowly. "Oh, and I like Green." He said, smiling slyly.

Holly listened to Andre speak. She giggled when he said his favorite color then had a very straight face. "Lime green, sea green, grass green, christmas green? you have to be spacific." Holly said laughing. "I love the flute! That's the only instrament I can play." She was staring off into space thinking about hiding in the wood's by the lake. She couldn'd imagin what it must look like in moonlight. "That must be really beautiful." She said snapping back to reality and looking at Andre.

He smiled. "It is, beautiful. As for the green, well, any greed really. So long as it's pure. None of this yellow or blue green. Just shades of green." He drew out a flute from thin air. "I would always play this when the lake caught the full moon. If I close my eyes, I can still see the castle, framing the moon in the lake." He put the flute to his lips, and played for her.

Holly closed her eyes and listened to the flute music. The sound drifted smoothly through the air. Every note he hit was perfect. No note that came through was shrill. Holly's eye's opened and she watched Andre's hands move across the flute. She didn't wonder how he got the flute there she just watched him play. "Your really good." She managed to say still amazed by his playing.

He smiled as he finished. "Thanks." The flute vanished from his hand, and he picked his apple back up from where he set it, then finished it. "Ready to get back to work, or do you need a little more time with your fruit?"

Holly staired at where the flute had just been. It had vanished into thin air just like it had appeared. "Yeah we can go back to work." Holly said quietly still trying to figure out what just happened. "First you have to tell me how you did that."

He looked at his hand. "Oh, that? It's my vampiric power. I can only use it for the 24 hours after I've taken the Alpha's potion, but it basically allows me to summon any small item I can think of." He held out his hand, and a rose appeared. "However, I am limited to only one thing at a time." He held out his other hand, and the flute appeared. As it did, the Rose vanished. He held up his hand, and the flute vanished from it again.

Holly watched the rose appear and dissappear as the flute came into his hand again. "That is so cool!" She said amazed. She looked back at andre with a bright smile on her face. "You know that is really the most amazing thing I've ever seen"

He smiled. "Well, then," he waved his hand, and the rose reappeared, "this is yours for the day. I'll have to pick you a real one next chance I get." He held it out for her, smiling and bowing slighty. "Sadly, when the potion the Alpha made me wears off, it will vanish, but I don't think I'll need to use it for the rest of the day. At least, not for anything I could easily go find with a little leg work."

Holly took the rose in her hand and looked at it. She had almost expected it to be fake, an illusion of some sort. The rose was completly real everything about it. "Thank you." She said flattered that someone had given her a rose, even if it was only temporary. Holly couldn't think of anything else to say. Holly reached over an hugged Andre then pulled away. She smiled shyly her cheeks turning red. "We should get back to work." Holly said quickly

Andre blinked, surprised at her hugging him, then relaxed a little and smiled. "Yeah, sure, lets go." He turned and headed off to the armory again, and grabbed two Halberds. He then turned and went to a rack of premade armors. Glancing over his shoulder at her, he asked "What do you prefer, metal or leather armor?"

The crimson haired vampiress curtsied to the vampire as he bowed to her and entered the castle. Once he was inside, Helen shut the heavy door behind her and stood behind Siegfried, watching him as he breathed in and began looking around the hall as if he was entering the castle and seeing everything, smelling everything for the first time.

Helen walked toward Siegfriend and stood next to him, looking around and then smiling to him in reply. She indeed loved the castle, it had served as her home for over a decade. Many, many memories had happened here. This is where she was brought after being attacked and turned. This is where she was taught how to live the life of a vampire. This is where she fell in love, had a child. This is where she suffered inside when her son left and then her mate to retrieve him, but neither of them ever returned. Helen always tried to force those awful memories from her mind and try to forget the pain, but even though the castle had housed her for so many years, she knew that she would someday have to leave. The castle held too many memories and even though somethings you can just never forget, she didn't want to have to be in pain all the time.

"I don't mind a bit of a climb," Helen said as she snapped out of it and looked to Siegfried. "I bet it would keep them out. But then again, I bet that if the library was easier to find, then you'd have plenty more company." She half smiled and then stepped forward. "Lead the way."

Holly followed behind Andre still examining her rose. She thought something had to be different about it. Nothing was. It looked just like a normal rose. Holly looked up quickly when Andre spoke. "Um, leathers more confortable but Metal's safer right?" She asked not sure which she liked since normally she didn't use it.

Andre laughed slightly, shaking his head. "Well, that's one way to look at it. The more important way is Leather is Lighter then Metal, so you're quicker on your feet. It's more of would you rather focus on attacking, while letting your armor defend you most of the time, or a more active defence, using your weapon and your speed over your armor. You can mix both, as you can see with mine." He spread his arms, showing his armor. A Sea Green Metal Breastplate, Silver Bracers, and Sea Green Short Metal Boots. Underneath, he wore leather armored greaves, and a leather Tasset. "If we want to mix and match for you, though, we'll need some custom made. I think, unless you'ld rather metal, we can go with leather for you now, and maybe add a breastplate and gauntlets or bracers later." He looked at her, then smiled. "I hope I'm not talking to much over your head here."

Holly just kind of looked at him as he spoke. She got completely lost after he explained the difference. When he finally stopped talking she spoke. "Whatever you think is best." She said still trying to figure out what parts of his explination had been important. She started to laugh quietly when he asked if he was speaking over her head. "Yeah I have no clue what you just said."

He smiled, nodded, and pulled some armor from the rack and handed it to her. "This should do for now, and some boots." He motioned to some boots. "Find your size, and put that on."

Siegfried grinned and nodded. "Alright then. This way." He walked to a narrow staircase near the end of the long hall. The steps were worn with age and slightly dusty. He started up the steep spiral, each step landing in the smooth, hollowed spot in the center of the stair. The tapestries adorning the walls here were particularly ancient, their colors faded, and the detail of every scene frayed. The air was heavier here, but not in an unpleasant way. It just felt like air that was used to the place.

After a few moments of climbing, they reached the landing. They passed through the stone arch and entered the library. It was a grand room, with high ceilings and tall windows. The most amazing thing, however, were the bookshelves. They were clustered like trees in an orchard, each bearing a magnificent fruit of books. They were all crammed with different volumes, squeezed in tightly, but even that didn't seem to be enough space. Surfaces everywhere were stacked with more books - tables, chairs, tops of shelves, cabinets, desks. The room was in some disarray. Siegfried was generally the only one there, and so he could be as messy as he liked. He turned to Helen and smiled. "Well, here is my corner of the castle. I'm sorry about the mess."

Holly looked through the boots and found the ones that were her size. She put on the armor and looked down at it. She had expected it to be much uglier. "I think I'm going to have to get pants." She said looking at how the white skirt of her dress looked rediculous.

He nodded, looking around. "I'm sure they have some around here, unless you already have a pair you own. Any will do, so long as you're comfortable in them. If not, I'm sure we can find you a pair." He started looking around the armory, in case she didn't have one.
