Hearing some sound the little fox boy comes out of a deep slumber. Mmmm, it was so nice to feel so warm even if things smell off.
Sitting up slowly and rubbing the sleep from his eyes the little fox boy looked around. Wow, he's amazed at how beautiful everything is. Beautiful but. . . different some how. He rubbed his head trying to figure out why everything seemed so off. He sniffed the air. Hmm, maybe it was because this place didn't smell like him. Hmm, what is this place? He stands up and looks around. He sees a big place a bit off in the distance. He wonders to himself if this is his home. He walks toward the large house touching the plants as he goes. When he reaches the large dwelling he peeks inside to find it much larger than he though. It is very beautiful inside. Walking aimlessly looking for someone else he goes down a hallway. The first door he sees has the name Kumar on it and some how he knows that is his name. Opening the door he goes inside and smiles. He figures though if his name is on the door it most likely is his room, why else would his name be there. He couldn't remember ever being anywhere else. Now that he thought about it he couldn't remember anything before now. . .not even who he really was, other than his name. As he stands there thinking about this a beautiful woman appears before him. He is so excited because now he is not alone! Just as he opens his mouth to speak the woman beats him to it and speakes, "You have been chosen!"
Then with nothing further she disappears. The little fox boy cocks his head and gives it a little scratch. . .chosen, chosen for what? He is now completely confused and feeling a tad bit scared. Perhaps he has some mind sickness? It didn't help that he's alone. He does not like being alone. He looks around and comes to a conclusion. He figures he must live in this place and if he lives here surely his family lives here as well. If he found them perhaps they could tell him what's wrong with him and what's going on. Feeling a little nervous he makes his way to the rather large door of his room and pushes it open a few inches. In a meek little voice he calls out, "Hello. Is anybody else home?"

(NOTE- Hello everyone! I'm Kuma ^-^. Talitha001 gave me permission to join and I wanted to post before things got really going. I haven't posted my profile since Talitha001 asked people not to post them in the middle of the RP. The short version is my character is a 13 year old boy but smaller than most humans that age. Looks pretty much human but has fox ears and tail. There's more to it than that but I'll wait for the profile to be posted!)

Shuddering in relief as the shadows voice words Luslama sighs and slumps down onto the floor, but not for much longer for out of the door that she was heading towards she heard yet another voice state its name. Surprised at the sudden noise, just after she had started to relax Lusalma emitted a strangled squeak and lunged a couple of feet away from the new person. Tripping due to her kneeling postition Lusalma landed face down onto the floor, hard enough to form a bruise on her nose. Whimpering slightly at the pain Lusalma straightened up and nursing the nose concentrated to as to clear her thoughts of irrational fear and surprise. After several moments of concentration Lusalma sighed and standing up gingerly looked towards the newcomers and smiling stated, "My name is Lusalma and sorry that I was such a klutz, I was kinda surprised...you're NOT going to hurt, eat, or otherwise harm me right?" Finishing the statement Lusalma blushed slightly in embarrassment at her presumption and glanced at the others to see their reaction.

Alana smiled at the girl and put out her hand "The names Alana. DO you have any idea whats going on?"

She wandered the room checking it out. It was pretty much a double of her own room and she thought it odd. She slipped out the door real fast and then came back in closing the door.

Hearing noise down the hallway Kumar slides out of his room into the hallway peering around. Walking softly and slowly down the hall swishing his tail as he quietly lets out a, "Hello. . .anybody?"

Lusalma smiled and shaking her head in denial she nonverbally voiced her cluelessness. Hearing a sound outside the door in the region of the hallway Lusalma glanced past Holly and hoped there was nothing dangerous outside... remembering where she was Lusalma looked around, hoping to see a window, maybe she could figure out where she was based on the scenery?...or maybe not.

* Hearing sounds of more people walking around and talking, Blahrtohk decided to at least poke his head out to see what was going on. He readied his hammer, just in case, opened the door and leaned out. *

"Hello?"

Alana poked her head out the door and said.

"Come here fast. If your out there."

SHe had heard voices and she knew that they should all stick together if they were to figure out what to do.

"We are in here. Hurry up."

Holly stood in the room waiting for the people to come. She was a little worried about what they were like but didnt say anything. She took a few deep beaths and looked at the other girl who was holding her nose. "Are we going to die?" She asked fearfully. She didnt like death and really didnt want to think about it, but Holly wanted to know what was waiting for her.

Hearing the whispered question Lusalma stopped her search of the walls and looking back at Holly frowned thoughtfully and stated, "I don't think so but given the odd lady who just pops out of nowhere it might be a possiblity...we don't know, or at least I don't know when she could come back or what she could do..."

As he is padding along Kumar sees a head pop out of a door way a little ways down the hall and hears a hello. He smiles at knowing that he isn't alone and replys with a happy, "Hello," and begins to walk to the mysterious head in the doorway. Smiling to himself he thinks he must be very lucky because this place is so big he must have lots and lots of family. Feeling better with all his thoughts of family Kumar reaches the door way and takes a decent look at the person in the first door way and his jaw drops as his eyes travel up and up and up. This guy is HUGE! He is like a giant tree. Without thinking Kumar points at the mans head and says, "What happened to your ears? Are they hidden in all your hair?" Then noticing his lack of a tail says,"Ohh did you lose your tail in a fight with some one?" Kumar grabs his own tail and hugs it, "It would be awful to lose your tail. Does it make you walk funny? Oh hey are you my brother? I bet you are huh! I can't really remember anything and I'm seeing things too. Do I have mind sickness? Is this my house?" Just as Kumar is about to ask another round of questions he hears a voice from another door way say, "Come here fast. Of you're out there." With out thought Kumar goes to grab the big mans hand while saying,"Come on brother, maybe that's sister callling for us."

* Blahrtohk raises an eyebrow at the funny little anthropomorph rattling questions at him, debating whether to just knock him out with his hammer or not, then he hears a voice say "Come here fast" and finds himself dragged along by the arm. He could easily have stood his ground and tossed the little guy down the hall but it's never wise to assume that people are enemies; there is often much more harm done in hurting friends than helping enemies. So he let himself get dragged out, but kept his hammer ready, just in case. *

Happily letting his tail twitch to and fro Kumar tugged big brother behind him toward the voice in the other room.

As they walk he sets off with his questions again,"I wonder what sister looks like. I bet she's pretty. I feel bad I can't remember. I wonder if she's tall like a tree, like you. Maybe she's short like me." As they reach the door way Kumar pokes his head in to see while speaking out a little, "Hello." Taking a look around Kumar frowned a bit. Something was wrong. He realized that he was the only one that looked different. The only one with a tail. He dropped the big mans arm and slipped further back into the hall. Maybe he was a freak or he was sick with something bad. Maybe he didn't belong here and this wasn't his family. Kumar was getting scared and for the first time he noticed the very large hammer in the man's other hand.

* Blahrtohk sees the fear in the little one's eyes and suddenly realizes that he is just as lost and confused as he himself is. His eyes soften, his stance relaxes, and he smiles warmly, lowering his hammer. *

"Hey, don't worry too much, everything will be okay." *He ruffles the little one's hair playfully.* "What's your name?"

Kumar looks up at the big man once he starts speaking and gets the feeling that he won't hurt him. When the man pats his head Kumar can't help but give a little smile, that gesture felt nice. Deciding to trust him Kumar replies," The door said my name is Kumar. I don't really remember but it just seems right. But. . .but . ." Tugging his tail nervously he says, "But aren't I sort of weird looking?" Pointing back to the room,"Everybody else looks different from me." Kumar hugs his tail,"Maybe it's some sickness. I saw a lady appear then disappear too. Is something wrong with me?"

Alana decided to go look for these people talking

"Wait here" She told the girls and took off seeing a guy talking to a demon of sorts.

"Hey you there" She yelled and ran to them.

*Blahrtohk shakes his head* "I don't think anything's particularly wrong with you... I saw the woman appear and disappear too, and I also can't remember anything except the name I saw on the door: Blahrtohk. You do look different, but that's not bad, I think that's just you." *Blahrtohk turns around, showing Kumar the metal clasp embedded in his back, and then snaps the hammer into it.* "I'm the only one with this, but that's just how I am." *tugs playfully on Kumar's ears* "And this is just how you are." *smile*

*Blahrtohk hears someone call out to them, and turns to face her.* "Yes? Who are you?"

Kumar smiles at Blahrtohk glad to know that he wasn't the only one seeing things. He was also happy that Blahrtohk was different too.

Kumar jumped when he heard the woman speak out. A little scared he jumped behind Blahrtohk to hide. Clutching on to Blahrtohk's leg he peers around to take a better look at the new person.

Alana smiled at them and put out her hand "Hi Im Alana. Nice to meet you. Do you have any idea what is going on?"

She hoped they did for it seemed everyone was very confused at the moment.

* Blahrtohk takes her hand and shakes it firmly *

"I'm Blahrtohk, and I have no idea what's going on. I take it none of you do either?"

He decided to stay quiet while they spoke. Though it seemed strange to him that no one would know what was going on. He looked at the lady. She seemed nice.

Alana nodded "No one knows. I wish we could figure it out soon enough. I would like to know what happened."

SUddenly in front of them appeared the goddess again.

You are the chosen ones. Together you will defeat the great evil that keeps me trapped. Please save me. I am counting on you all.

He blinks then rubs his eyes. Kumar tugs on Blahrtohk's garment and says, "Did you see that to? It wasn't just me right?"

*Blahrtohk nods* "Yes, I saw it too. I don't know what this is all about, but... well, things aren't always what they seem. When some trapped stranger shows up asking to be set free, it could just as easily be evil pretending to be good as it might be good for real." *He unclips his hammer and holds it tightly* "But either way, there's probably going to be some fighting, possibly soon."

Alana grabbed both of there hands and pulled them into the room with the others closing the door. She sat down on the bed.

"So what do you think we should do?"

Lusalma watched the interaction between the persons in the room, kinda like a ping pong match but 4 way. Lusalma had stared at the little boy with a tail but he was so innocent and cute that she just couldn't associate him with the mean people she DID know who had a tail...before. Hearing the question Alana asked Lusalma raised her hand slightly to grab attention, seemed to be needed, and stated, "Well, I for one think there are saftey in numbers but we don't know where we are or why...so maybe explore the building we're in as a group?" Having said her piece Lusalma leaned back and prepared to watch what the others have to say.
