Shar swam through the palace ocean dodging other merpeople as he swam. He dove into the kings chamber just before the doors were closing. "I'm sorry I'm late your majesty, I got side tracked while feeding the sharks and then we started swimming and that turned into a chase, and before I knew it, it was time for me to be here!" Shar held himself straight as he waited for the king to reply.
"Shar..." the king began tiredly, "you always have some excuse as to why you are late... This can not keep happening if you want to be part of the royal guard. Now your mother begged me to let you have this position after your brother died... but if you continue being tardy everyday, I am going to have to look for another guard."
Shar pursed his lips but nodded, "yes sir. I'm extremely sorry, it won't happen again."
"It'd better not." The king said, then waved his hand, "get to training."
Shar swam quickly out of the thrown room, a foul mood engulfing him.
As he was swimming through the door, he was tackled by another merman. "Sooo, why are you late this time? Was it a girl? TELL me it was a girl!" A young boy had his arms locked around Shar's waist, looking up at him with big eyes.
"Nooo, Caspian, it was not a girl." Shar tried to pull the young boy off his waist but the kid kept his grip tight.
"Common Shar! When are you gonna get a girl? I can't get a girl until you do! Dad said so!"
Shar looked down at the little prince, "he did?" he asked confused.
"Yeah, now get out of here!"
Shar was confused, "but I just got here..."
"Yeah and thats why you need to leave before anyone else see's you! You need to go find a girl, just go pick one! And bring her back here for dad to see!" Caspian pushed Shar and then flicked him with his tail as he was slowly swimming away.
" 'Just go find a girl?' What the hell? How am I supposed to do that? I can't just pick ANYONE." Glumly Shar swam back to his house, he paused as he neared the house, he stopped... He didn't want to see his mom, and deal with her disappointment... He wasn't his brother, he didn't want to be his brother... yet she wouldn't, or couldn't, stand to let him live his own life. He swam to the end of the yard, and let the sharks out. He decided to take them for a short swim...

((I don't know what else to put right now, so I'll just let you post finally xD))

Stepping down from the sand and into the moving, drifting waters, tiny toes crinkled up. As the figure stood, she brushed her flowing brown hair from her face and closed her eyes, breathing in the water. "It feels so nice.." she said softly, her hands coming to fold behind her back as she stood by the breaking waves. The beach was so nice in the morning like this. The breeze was always blowing in just the right way for everything to feel amazing. This morning was no exception.

Moving from her place in the sand, the female began walking down the expanse of the beach, headed to her favorite spot. Not far from where she was, there was a lagoon like area, an area where the water sort of pulled in deeply to a small enclave, leaving smaller waves, but deeper depths, and calmer surroundings. The girl loved her lagoon, and with a smile upon arrival, she moved down to the sandy shores of it, and dipped her toes in the murky depths. A sigh escaped her lips, and then she closed her eyes once more, leaving out everything but the water and herself. It was rare that she had mornings like this to relax by the ocean, and usually she had to make time with all of the daily affairs she had. But when she did get to come down to the water... it was a wonderful thing.

As she sat, exhaling and inhaling the sweet salty smells of the water, she reclined back, and then lay down all together in her spot. She could honestly have not cared less if there was sand in her hair, or if she were to get dirty.. It didn't matter much to her as of now.

((sorry about having to wait so long for a reply, my computer was being an ass, and I couldn't even get on all day -.-))

Shar swam fast, trying to get away from his mother's house as fast as he possibly could, just in case she came back early from her coral aerobics. The sharks swam past him quickly, excited to be taken out twice today. Shar was mentally exhausted, so he decided to let them lead for once. They started out on the path that Shar usually took them out on, but as soon as they realized that he was letting them lead for once, the two sharks took off. Up and out, taking Shar farther from Atlantis then he had ever been. ((yeah yeah, I know, unoriginal but oh well, I couldn't think of anything better... Dx ))
Shar looked back and noticed, with a laugh, that he was so far away that he could only see the tops of the towers on the castle, and the very edge of the village. In a quick flash of fear, Shar considered raining them in and going back, but he was having to much fun to leave so soon. He hadn't had this much fun in a long time... longer then his brother had been dead... Shar closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and then started swimming as fast as he could after the sharks.
He'd barley caught up to them when they took a sharp turn upwards. Shar decided that they had gone to far away from the village, and that he could take out the rest of his frustration racing the sharks on the way back. He reached out a hand to grab the shark's gills, which would normally make them stop, but they just shook him off and sped up. After the second failed attempt at grabbing their gills, Shar stopped 'Just where are you guys going?' he wondered, and decided to just swim along for the ride.
They continued their swim up until the shark's dorsal fins were poking though the surface of the ocean. Shar was nervously swimming quite a bit lower then them. Screw what would happen to him if he was late again to knight training again, he wasn't thinking about that. All he could think about was, what if someone caught him this far from the city, this close to the surface... he probably wouldn't even be able to leave his house again, let alone become the knight his mother wanted him to...
Suddenly, the sharks took a sharp dive, one of them brushing his side quite sharply, cutting his side as it went. Shar exclaimed in surprise, pain, and confusion. But just as quickly as they dove, the sharks turned around and started climbing, swimming as fast as their powerful fins would take them. This time Shar dove out of the way before he got smashed into again.
As the sharks broke through the surface, the did so in a fashion so that they would cross in midair, turning in a complete 360' circle as they did so.
Shar was frightened and awed at the same time. These sharks were much more amazing then he had ever imagined! When the sharks collapsed back into the water, they swam right to him, both nudging him in the stomach, then repeating their performance. They did this exact same routine three times before Shar understood, they wanted him to jump with them! The next time they fell back into the ocean, the didn't have to waste time nudging Shar. He was already swimming down as fast as he could, once he was at least as far as the sharks had gone, probably farther, he flipped quickly so not to loose his momentum. He swam up even quicker then he'd swam down, as he threw himself out of the water, he laughed, loud and long. That is, he laughed until he saw the human, who was now standing and watching with wide eyes on the beach, not twenty feet away. Shar lost the perfect arch that he was soaring in, and crashed into the ocean once more quite sloppily.
Oh, he was dead. Deader then his brother, deader then the coral he had eaten for lunch that day, and even deader then his father who had passed away in a war with a neighboring city of Merpeople, before he was born. He was frozen with fear when the sharks came back to him, they nudged him again, just as they had when they had wanted him to jump. He didn't think it was funny anymore...

The girl hadn't been paying attention to the splashing much before. She knew there were dolphins around her cove, everyone did.. but when some of the water had landed on her, she thought seriously about giving those dolphins a piece of her mind! When she sat up, though, she realized that dolphins were definitely not what had been swimming in her general area. Sharks. There were sharks in her water. But before she could even react to that, she saw something completely and utterly unbelievable. Her eyes grew wide, her jaw lowered at least a good inch, and she sat it. It.. it was a he.

The girl sharply inhaled as she watched in awe. There was nothing else that she could do. And then for a moment, he looked at her, and their eyes met. He looked just as astonished as she did, and she could only think it miraculous that this was even happening. But soon enough, she shook it off, all of it, and ran. She took off faster than a bullet, and was able to get home just as fast.. right back to her castle.

Men and women of the house watched her, all wondering what had gotten into the rambunctious young woman as she flew up the stairs. What was wrong with her...? "Miss---!" But that was all anyone was able to get out of her. After all, when you're as 'royal' as she was, those doors were quite heavy and thick.

(My post sucks compared to yours. D8 )

Shar let himself drop for a while, sinking and sinking. Finally he hit the bottom, and snapped back in to awareness. He looked around, and saw the sharks circling above his head. He swam up, past the sharks and up to the surface. He held his water ((...breath?)) and poked his head up into the air. He looked around, searching the land. He didn't see any girl. He swam a bit closer, until he got close enough to touch the sand. He scooped some up in both hands and reveled at the softness of it. He pressed it against his face, and dragged it down. It felt amazing! He grabbed some more and pushed it through his hair, he pulled himself farther onto the beach and slid the dry sand down his neck, the small grains grated against his body, making him shiver and laugh at the same time. Down at the bottom of the ocean, all the sand was clumpy and gross. Most of the time he refused to even touch it, and all the girls thought he was silly. He pulled his tail out of the water, and pushed the sand down some of his tail. But pretty soon, he started feeling really strange... like he couldn't breathe and he started getting itchy all over. His tail started burning and and his mouth got really dry. Panicked, he looked around, searching for the cause of the strangeness. Was it the sand? No, his face felt fine, it was only certain parts of his body that were freaking out. Then he realized what it was. The water! He quickly dove back into the water, and immediately felt much better... but the sand on his body got all icky on his skin, so he scrubbed it off, amazed at how soft it left his skin. He swam back up to the beach, and into the little cave that he was by. The sharks followed him into the lagoon, and swam around in the deep pool of water, circling around and around the edges. Shar dove, and swam to the bottom of the lagoon, and laid out on the sand. He burrowed down into the sand, and dragged some of the wet sticky sand over his body. He was exhausted after that long swim, and just needed a small nap before going home. The sharks seemed tired as well, because they settled themselves on slabs of rock that jutted out under the water. There was a constant flow of water coming from deeper in the cave, so they were able to sleep without suffocating. As he slept, he heard a strange voice in his head...

"Wake up.." A voice said in a whisper. "Wake up, sleepy head..." A large, shadowy figure swirled around the water nonchalantly, and decidedly by the voice emitting from the creature, it was a female. It was clear that Shar was no longer in his cave, he was in a grotto.. A dark, deep grotto covered in bottles of potions, and corals that stretched from floor to ceiling, covering everything that seemed useless.
The less than feminine figure circled around the newer presence in her lair, before grazing her fingers over his bare back. "Wake up!" she snapped, soon landing a smack on his back with the palm of her hand. And he did wake up, too, mighty fast!
She threw on a charming smile, moving into the light so that she was visible.

"Allow me to introduce myself," she said, her voice deep, but still, it was evident that she was indeed a female, just by the looks of her plump upper body. "I am Sicilla, the sea witch, and I can grant you your every wish and desire.." The way she said that last bit. It would be evident to anyone that she was clearly up to no good. "I can give you everything you've ever wanted, and more.. I am beyond, more.. I can give you anything, everything..!" She was clearly getting over excited with herself, and let out the evil cackle to prove it.
"Now tell me, boy, what is it that your heart most desires...?"

(Yes, short. Yes, I am dead-tired. Yes, my posts will eventually be good.)

Shar jumped awake from the slap on his back. "Wha, what?" he stuttered as he slowly became capable of coherent thought. He looked quickly around, "where am I?" He wondered out loud. He swung his head around as the woman like figure began to speak. He listened to the woman, and ever so slowly became more and more confused. "My hearts most desires?" he repeated, "what are you talking about?" He thought some more, "my every wish and desire? Oh... I don't really need anything..." he silenced himself, and became lost in his thoughts.
He didn't need anything, it was true. Back home he had his loving mother, a warm house to cover his head, 4 meals a day... He honestly didn't need anything... but... if he thought about what he desired, well then that was a completely different story... he thought about his mother, and how the last thing that she'd said to him that day was, 'Don't worry Sabby, you'll do great at work." Sabby was his mothers nick name for Sebastian his brother... At the palace he was just seen as a bother, and even the only person he considered sort of his friend, prince Caspian, was just using him so that he would be allowed to date! The more he thought about it, the more he realized how meaningless and empty his life was. Even to his mother, all he was was a replacement son for the one she'd lost...

But then he thought about the girl that he'd seen on the beach, and he heard Caspian's voice in his ear, 'When are you gonna get a girl ... You need to go find a girl... just go pick one... just pick one...' He imagined all the freedom she had, thought about her walking through the sand, feeling it squish between her toes, the sun warm on her skin... and then he put himself into that fantasy... But his tail started burning and his mouth dried up just at the thought... He shook his head gruffly. He wanted THAT. That freedom, the feeling of being able to do anything he pleased, with no one telling him how to live... ((Sound like another Disney movie to you? xD if not yet, I'll give you another hint...)) Nobody saying do this, nobody stop that, nobody saying see here... ((Lion king anyone? ;D))

Shar gritted his teeth and closed his eyes. "My... my hearts greatest desire... is freedom..." As he said it, he knew it was true. As soon as those words past his lips, he knew with all his being that those words were the essence of what his heart was yearning for, what it had been aching for, the past year. With this realization, he felt lighter. Both physically and mentally. He opened his eyes and smiled a crazy smile of relief. "Freedom, and nothing else. No! Wait... I..." He glanced down embarrassed. "I... also want that girl I saw on the beach today... she is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and I think I might have scared her... I don't want her to be afraid of me..." He looked up into the sea witch's eyes, with a determined look on his face. Now that he knew what he wanted, he would give anything to have it...

(Why did I already know you were crazy? xD)

Sicilla smiled, her lips upturning. "So you want to be a human, you want to fall in love with a beautiful girl, and you want her to fall in love with you..." Her smile soon turned into a foreboding grin, her body coming into view as she swam her way to a very large, black pearl in the middle of the room. Sicilla, unique to Shar, had the body of a shark, her upper body being the only feminine part of her. She was certainly a sight to behold, with her pale skin, and dark, black eyes.

"Come see.. Is this the woman you so desire?"

Waving her hands over the pearl, it turned from black, to a monochrome shade as it showed within it, a dainty female sprawled beneath the blankets on a large bed. It was the same female from the beach, with her long, dark brown hair, and her soft, pale skin. She was decidedly sleeping, her lips opening so that she could let out a silent sigh, and then turn. The pearl followed the view, making sure that her face was always visible. The female opened her eyes suddenly, and then after sitting for a moment, a smile graced her lips. Above the left side of her mouth was a small beauty mark. She laughed, and another hand came into the picture, brushing hair from her cheek gently.

Sicilla smiled grimly. "I wonder who that could be..." She said, the pearl beginning to zoom out. And there he was, Shar, clear as day, a sweet smile plastered to his face as he leaned in to kiss her. "Isn't that what you want?" she asked him, her hand motioning to the pearl, and all it showed.

((well entrapment does crazy things to people, .:shakes head and laughs:. xD I promise he wont get to crazy))

Shar watched in wonder as the girl from the beach materialized in the big orb. Wow, she was beautiful... as he watched, he smiled with her, entranced by the woman on the bed... He was surprised when she sat up and smiled right at him, and then got stung with a spike of jealousy when he saw the hand... but it was his hand after all, and then that jealousy turned back into wonder. He was surprised and a little distressed when the vision of beauty disappeared from the orb, he looked up at the sea witch again, and nodded.
"Yes. That is what I want."

Sicilla snapped, and the vision of the two vanished into nothing but a thin, black smoke, which surround the pearl. "Very well," she said, her arms coming to cross over her chest. "Then it is done." She snapped again, this time, a scroll and pen appeared with her. It was a contract. "But the question is, what are you willing to pay in return...?" She grinned darkly once more, before making her round back toward a large cauldron. "You must give me something, and I will give you legs, freedom, and you will go to her." Turning her back to Shar, she opened a large box, decidedly a trunk, and began to sift through bottles and containers.

"But.."

Sicilla's long index finger rose, and she turned to face him. "You will only be able to stay with her in the condition that there is proof of her love for you."
Sicilla turned her back to him again, soon enough returning to face him, two bottles at hand. "As a down payment, I will take one gift from you. One thing which will ensure that you're not messing around up there, that you're working hard for what you want. "You will have a month to gain her love. I will need you to have completed one action with this girl in order for you to stay."

Shar watched Sicilla as she drifted to the back of the cave and rustled through a large trunk. "Pay? How did I know there was a ketch?" He shook his head, but kept listening. "Proof of her love? How would I do that? What action??"
He was getting more and more skeptical of this deal. But every time that the felt like backing out... he remembered the beautiful girl, and the vision of himself leaning in to kiss her good morning...
He didn't think that there was anything that he would possibly not give for the chance to be free...

Sicilla made a 'snick' sort of noise, before crossing her arms at him once more. "The ultimate expression of love, boy. What else?"
The witch snapped again, and the bottles opened, and poured their own contents into the large cauldron before her. A purple smoke wafted upward from the clear and orange liquids being mixed. Sicilla looked content as she dug for more items within her trunk. The sea witch said nothing more about what he would give her in exchange for his temporary freedom of being let above the surface.
"But if within a months time, you are somehow unable to share that with her..." Sicilla snapped again, and two more bottles flung their contents into the cauldron. "I get your soul."

Sicilla was an evil woman, she was. She wanted his soul in exchange for Shar's failure with a beautiful girl. But it was how she played her game, and it was how she won.

"All you have to do is sign the contract.. And drink this.." A murky green vile appeared in front of him, "and your every wish can come true.."

Shar thought about it... his mother had tried to teach him about some immortal thing that everyone had that was called a soul. But he didn't know what it did, what it was, or why he even needed it. So it seemed like a fair deal to him, though he didn't know what she would do with his soul, if he should fail. Which he wouldn't.
He grabbed the bottle as it appeared in front of him, "you're... talking about sex aren't you?" He looked up at the sea witch and blushed a bit. Then another thing occurred to him, "what is the price of this green goop? What is that 'down payment' you're talking about?"

Sicilla smirked at him. "Of course, sex. Unless you have a problem with that...?" She knew every detail about Shar, so of course she understood why he was blushing so, and clearly a bit nervous by the idea. It wasn't like he would actually be able to get that far anyway. He'd never even kissed a female, much less did he know how to. With a smile, she snapped once more, the contract appearing close to his face. After all, he had to sign it.

"Nothing important," she said, referring to his other question. Well, it wasn't important unless he wanted to remember that he'd ever been below the sea.. All he would know is that he had a month to sleep with the girl.

Shar cursed himself for the doubt he was feeling. He wanted this, why was he hesitating??? He quickly uncorked the green vile and drank it down, then he grabbed the pen and pressed it to the paper, but he couldn't get his hand to move... He closed his eyes and let himself calm down, but this wasn't a time for rational thinking. He knew that he would eventually talk himself out of signing the paper if he didn't do it now, and it was obvious that he wasn't getting any more information out of the sea witch. He took a deep breath, and relaxed his hand, then he quickly signed the paper with his full name ((I can't think of a last name right now, so I'm just gonna leave it at that)).
As soon as his name was on the paper, he felt very relieved, but also a little nauseous at the same time...

(he doesn't need a full name. xD He's not no hoomin.)

Sicilla cackled, and the contract, pen and vile all disappeared. She knew what was wrong with Shar before he did, obviously, and watched as he struggled beneath the water. "Swim, Shar, swim! Or you'll drown..." Either way she got his soul, and she didn't care by which means she obtained it. Sicilla found it amusing though, he probably didn't know how to swim, now that his teal colored tail was vanishing, splitting, and disappearing to reveal a paired of toned legs and feet.

(Yes, this is the end of her, so it's short. >>)

Shar? Who was Shar? What was happening? He heard a strange voice laughing at him, and an eminence pain in his tail. Wait... tail? No, legs. What were legs? His mind swam with confusion, and he started kicking whatever his lower half was now. He used his hands to grab whatever he could to pull himself what he thought was up, he struggled and panicked, but didn't know what else to do. He forced himself out of a small cave under water and pushed off the bottom of a floor he wasn't even sure was there. All he could think was 'out, out I need to get out!' Just as he was about to give up, felt as though his lungs would explode, two powerful beasts pushed themselves under his arms, and pulled him up, and finally out of the water. He screamed as he hit the surface, and clawed himself onto the beach, passing out from the exertion of his escape.

(It's past four here. O.o)

It had been a while before anyone had even been on the beach again, however, it was before high tide. The first person to spot the young man in the water, was none other than a butler in the household of the woman which Shar was after. Well, she wasn't a woman, but she was of the female variety. Either way, it was needless to say that the man was shocked to see a boy laying face down in the sand. His initial reaction was that the boy was dead, but upon closer examination (and prodding with a stick for a bit), he noticed that he was breathing. It didn't take long for him to cover the boy up, and rush him frantically back to the home.

As the butler entered the palatial grounds, bursting through the main doors, everyone stopped their business. "Someone help me!" At least a dozen men and women rushed to his side, and after establishing that he was alright, they dressed him, and placed him in one of the spare bedrooms on the second floor of the home.

She was the first to come out of her bedroom when the gaggle of people arrived on her floor. "What's going on?" she asked curiously. Of course, she saw when her butler rushed by. "What happened to him?!" she gaped. In all honesty, she had no idea who he was, nor did she care.. But they were bringing him to her floor, so why not..?
But no one would answer her. She frowned as they dispersed, and his herself within her room again.

Shar woke up groggy and confused. He remembered a struggle and and a lot of water... a LOT of water... and a beach... There was a man in his memories, and he knew that the man was good, so he'd let him take him... not that he had any choice in the matter...
But... after that all he could remember distress... and frantic movements... He opened his eyes and finally looked around. He was in some sort of bed, but it was more comfy then any bed he'd slept in at home... where was home? Where was he?
He started panicking again, and fell out of the bed. He scrambled over to a wall and tried to stand up, falling right over as soon as he got up. "What the hell?" He said, then coughed finding his new lungs strange. He fell into a coughing fit and leaned against the wall until he finished coughing. Once the spasms deep in his chest ceased, he looked around again. He was trapped, he was confused, and he was being attacked from within...

He tried to remember anything before the panic and the beach... but all he could remember was one thing, a strange inhuman voice, yelling at him, 'Swim, Shar, swim! Or you'll drown...'
Well he figured that since the voice had been yelling at him his name had to be Shar... He smiled, relaxed that one of his questions had been answered. But that only gave him a very small amount of information... He looked around the room once more, and saw a big brown spot in the middle of one white wall, so he crawled over to it ((the easiest way he found to move xD)). He reached a hand up to the big brass handle that jutted out of the middle of the door, he grabbed it and was surprised when it moved under his hand. He grinned and turned his hand harder. He yelled out in terror as he started falling, the door that he had been leaning on falling open and dumping him on the floor outside...

With all of the ruckus happening in the room next to her, the young woman knew he must've been awake. Hearing the cry out from the hallway, she sighed, and then stepped into the hall. What she saw was certainly not what she had expected. The woman thought that she would have seen someone terribly confused, wondering around the hallway like an idiot. Instead, she saw her new house guest on the floor, looking dazed, confused, and scared. "Are you alright?" She gasped. But before she could even get close to him, those dozen maids and butlers had already rushed to the scene of the crime. "Are you alright, young man?" the butler who'd brought him in, asked. The butler seemed to be in his fifties, grey hair, balding. His nose was large, much like the beak of a bird, but it wasn't an absurd size. His eyes were an airy blue color. He was the most loyal of the servants in the home, having been there longer than anyone, including the young female which Shar had his eye own from below the sea.

As the men and women continued to crowd around Shar, the girl sighed, pushing her hands through her hair as she leaned against her now closed bedroom door. "Ow!" she cried out suddenly, clutching her chest. "I'm dying!" Of course, no one looked, and she sighed once more. She supposed it was only natural for them to be enthralled by a new presence in the home.

Shar looked up as the door next to his opened, and he saw her. He didn't know why, but he knew this girl. Though he didn't know anything else, he knew her. He wasn't sure why, he wasn't sure how, but he knew he was right. "I..." he started, but as soon as he began talking, the coughing fit came back, his lungs still not used to being lungs. He tried to speak to her again, and tried to pick himself up so that he could see her better, but before he succeeded, he found himself surrounded. There was so many of them! Men and women alike all touching him, grabbing at him. It sent him into a panicking once more, he yelled out and tried to scramble back into the room that he'd woken up in. But he was already being picked up and carried back to the bed. He struggled and tried to free himself from their grasp, but he was still weak, and there were still so many of them...

They hauled him up to the bed and pulled the blankets back over him. He noticed the man who'd found him on the beach and grabbed onto his arm, "who was-," was all he managed to get out before those pesky coughs came back.

The head butler, known as Isaac, shooed everyone from the room. It was just he and Shar, and he was already making sure that he didn't have a fever, that he could breathe and what not. When Shar spoke, the man smiled. He thought he'd heard the lady of the house trying to get his attention.

"Ahh, so you've seen her." Her chuckled a little, and then crossed his arms. "That's Miss Emilee," he told Shar. She lives here, and it seems that you will be for a while too, young man. Say, what's your name?"

"Isaac, I--" Emilee had burst into the room, half expecting for the guest in her home to be knocked out again. Unfortunately, that was nothing the case, and she sighed, a nervous smile coming onto her face; she didn't recognize him. "Hehh.. Hi..." She even sounded nervous now. "Sorry for.. interrupting I suppose." And with that, she rushed from the room.

"She's actually a nice young lady," Isaac added with a snicker after she left. "She's just under a lot of pressure right now. Nothing to worry about."

Shar calmed down after everyone else had left the room. So her name was Emilee... he smiled a slightly goofy smile when he heard her name, for some reason it fit her. Shar took a deep breath and let it out slowly, getting his new lungs used to working, he did that a few more times before he felt confident that he could speak with out coughing. "My name... seems to be... Shar," he said in small breaths, afraid of over pressing his lungs and coughing out a lung. When Emilee burst into the room, Shar jumped and looked over at her, the goofy smile crossing his face once more. When she left he reached a hand out in protest, but didn't speak.
"Pressure?" He asked in confusion.

Isaac nodded, and frowned. "Yes, Miss Emilee's mother died not long ago, and her father wants her to get engaged, but we all know that that's not going to happen any time soon.. Miss Emilee is far too stubborn for all of that nonsense." Isaac sighed once more, his eyes trailing off to the floor for a moment before he smiled pleasantly. "Well, it can't be helped, I supposed. As long as we're all here to watch out for her, we know she'll be alright." He smiled once more before checking his watch. "It's almost dinner time, you know. Would you like to join all of us for dinner? Emilee will be there." Isaac threw in a wink, almost as if he knew that Shar had some sort of attraction to the petite female. "I can set your plate next to hers..." He was enticing the young man. Or at the very least trying to.
