Who are We?

So, I recently finished reading the first book of the series, "Taken." It's about some of the people who were left behind during the rapture, when God is supposedly going to come back for his church. I don't know who believes in that this is going to happen and who doesn't believe it, but the topic sure does make one heck of a roleplay, doesn't it? I think it does. So, anyway, if this offends anyone because of their religion, I suggest you just be off now because I don't feel like debating about any of this. Scroll down for more info.

Plot

Rapture - Ecstasy: a state of elated bliss

We've all heard of the rapture, right? When the hold family goes to live with their god or something? Of course pretty much all of us know about it, but not all of use believe in such rubbish. We just go about out daily lives, not giving this rapture business a second thought, correct? It's not going to happen anyway, huh? Pish-posh to all of this crap. We're all going to live happily on Earth, and once we die, we're dead. There's no such thing as a rapture.

Think again.

Noone knows when it is going to happen, not even the father himself. Noone will be ready for it. Noone would have expected such a thing. Only the "Christians" believed it; that there was a loving father watching over them from Heaven and some day we'd see him face-to-face.

Once this rapture happens, things will never be the same. Suicide rates will go up. Families will be lost. Birth rates will go down. People will be killed. People will lose themselves and be a threat to society. Some will take advantage of this time and get all the bad they can get it. People will die.

...But, who says we can't have a second chance?
