Appearance: Thin, drab brown hair, with the tiniest hint of silver in the right light, and brown eyes; slightly tall; wears old clothes (jeans, T-shirt) with occasional rips; very thin, to the point where you can see a faint outline of ribs underneath her shirt. Background: Shelno is a werewolf, and hasn't traditionally been accepted by people. Werewolves can change at any time*, a fact they kept secret from humans for fear of persecution, but when a community Shelno stopped in found this out, she was forced to flee earlier than expected. That was the town directly before this one. Now, she's come into the tea shop looking for food and something to eat.


*Terry Pratchett receives credit for this inspiration. His version of werewolves are my favourite.

Drake Walked out of the high school. It was another late night. He was the type of student that like to do all his work at his own pace and that meant staying after school. Drake felt that night was his element. He felt more alive at night then he did in the day. Which was a funny thing beacuse he didn't like the night at all. Since a young Age Drake had always seen strange thing in the dark. He couldn't never place what they were or where they came from all he knew was, they looked like large dogs. Those creatures creeped him out. As Drake walked down the street his eyes darted from side to side making sure nothing was following him, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched by something in the shadows.

Can I have a character profile first, please?

I don't use Character Profiles. I am semi-lit so I use paragraph intros all the time. The intro I gave you wanted to best, beacuse I didn't have much intro to go on from your post. If you want me to write a character Profile It will take me some time to think up all the info and find the pictures I need.

I prefer having character profiles, so I know what sort of person I'm interacting with - looks, age, etc. I don't really mind if it takes a while.

I just hope you don't mind me saying that it take some of the fun out of a role play, knowing everything about the other persons character right away.

For me, it just adds to it a bit. It gives me some context for the other character. I also don't need everything, just a really basic history so I know where they're coming from. The majority of it can come out later if you'd prefer.

Background Info:

At the Age of 5 Drake's Parents got a devoice, After that nothing was the same for the small boy ever again. He changed school every year beacuse his father never stopped moving. He was scared that something, or someone might find them. Drake, to this day, never found out what his father was so scared of. When his father died in the fall of last year, Drake's Life changed once again. He stopped moving and was placed in a stable foster home. With loving people who went out of their way to make the boy, who was now at the age of 16, feel welcomed.

It was at this point that Drake start notice things his late father had kept him sheltered from. No matter where the boy went in this large town people knew who he was and went out of their was to help him out. It was a god send at times, but never-the-less it freaked Drake out. Not knowing the people who knew you by name would freak out anything. The strange things didnt stop there. As he became for comfortable in his new home, he began to see things out in the forest behind his house. Dog of any breed and size gravitated towards him. Finding ways to escape their cages and homes at night and walk to his back yard. They would always be standing watch from the forests edge. When ever he brought his faster parent into his room to see the dogs, the dogs would be gone without a trace. But the most memorable event with a K-9 counter part and the day of his 18th birthday. A real liver wolf walked out from the forest and side by his side while he did some yard work. When Drake's Foster mom saw the wolf by her 'son' she called the pound which came out and shot the aniaml dead, To Drake's Disapprove.

Since these strange things start. His father last words echoed in his head. "Stay away from the Fangs." Drake didnt know what his father had meant by those words. The only "Fangs" he knew of was the street gang which hung around the shipping docks. Drake often heard stories of how that gang would right the rival gang, "The Hunters", on the downtown streets. One thing Drake knew for sure, was that he was never going for fall in with those strange people who alway hid in the shadows.

Bio:

Drake had always bee an Normal child, give or take a few strange thing going on in his life. He had an Interest with everything and 18 year old child could have and interest in. Food, girl, Video games Drake didnt leave a signal thing untouched. He went out of his was to make friends and become a person people could be proud of being friends with. To say the least Drake was a Popular child at his local high school. On the inside Drake kept his hope, fear and for the most part his part a secret, beacuse he didnt want to be rejected for how he thought and lived.

The years in which he moved around with his father left a scar nothing could fill. It was like a part of him was missing. He made up for that missing part by being Arrogant, head strong and untrusting of new people. Although his nicer personality traits, Kindness towards others and generosity, show themselves more then the bad one. A another thing that held this young man back from having meaningful relationship was the fear of being left alone. Drake found himself often jumping from girl to girl, not caring how many hearts he broke along the way. His handsome looks, charming personality and a shy strike he had in made the girl flock to his side, ensuring that there was alway another girl to take the place of his last.

Shelno was in a back alley, searching for food. Her ribs were visible through her shirt, and most people ignored her as a street kid, despite the grey hair people could see in the right light. Her powerful sense of smell showed her where she could find food, and she was soon eating the discarded remains of a restaurant's evening meal.

She smelled a human walking down the street, which she immediately disregarded. She paused when she smelled a wolf nearby - a wolf that smelled like it might have rabies.

Putting down her meal and wiping her hands, Shelno made her way over. She crouched in the shadows and watched the boy, tracking the wolf that followed with her scent. She was amazed the creature was remaining hidden so long.

Drake Stopped dead in his track. out of the corner of his eyes he could see, eyes looking back at him from the shadows. It made the boy back up. Without thinking he started to run. He could hear something chasing after him, but he didnt dare look behind him and see what it was.

Shelno ran after them. As she did, she undressed, then changed; she tackled the other wolf and clamped her jaws on the back of it's neck. She dragged it away, then let it go and pinned it down when they were in the bushes.

Shelno asked it why it followed the boy. The wolf had enough time to gasp that several dogs followed the boy before it passed out. Shelno stepped away, then trotted back the way she'd come; she took her clothes and went back to the alley. Mentally, she wondered what was so attractive about the boy...

Nothing could prepare him for what he had seen. Those dog were the biggest he had ever seen, it was unreal. HE also wondered why the second dog that attacked protected him from the first one. It didnt make scene at all. When the shock wore off Drake found himself moving to the alley way the second Dog had disappeared into, he just had to get a betetr look at that second dog.

Shelno had just finished with her pants and picked up her shirt. She began pulling it over her head; as she did, she smelled the human she'd helped.

When Drake looked around the corner and didnt see the dog he was following. It had completely disappeared. in its place was a girl he had never seen around before. Drake wanted to ask the girl if a large dog had ran by. He knew it would sounds crazy, a dog that large dose not just vanish into thin air. That girl must have saw something. With a deep breath Drake rounded the corner and asked outloud "Did you see a dog pass by? it was rather big"

'Hm?' Shelno said, adjusting her shirt on her. 'No, I didn't.' Technically it wasn't a lie; she had been a wolf, not a dog, and there was a difference. Besides, she couldn't really see herself.

In the pale lit of the alley way the girl Drake had been looking at had a heavenly glow. He walked toward her, no longer scared or worried about the events of the past few mintues. He was more focused on 'getting to know' this girl. He smiled and leand against the wall. "Im Drake, Who are you? can I know why such a pretty girl like you would be out so late at night."

OOC l Sorry i have taken so long to reply. I was falling behind in school and needed to catch up.

'Shelno,' the werewolf said. 'I came here from a different town; it was either I stop by the side of a highway or arrive in town late. I decided to come in a bit later and find a place to stay.'

"I know a inn of the west side of two you could say. My 'Aunt' runs it and there is always an open room." He paused and looked her from top to bottom. She was a nice looking girl, no one at school could compare to her beauty. The more he looked at her the more he wanted her. "wanna walk around for a while? I dont have to be at home for a few hours. Im looking for something fun to do."

'Sure,' Shelno said. There wasn't anything else to do. 'How much does your "Aunt" charge for being in her hotel?'

"It depends" He smiled "Around 50 a room the better room cost 200 a night. If your staying a while she will cut you a deal." Drake looked around a saw that she didnt have any bags with her "Do you need to go a get your bags?"

'I don't have any with me,' Shelno said. 'I might be staying for a month or so, maybe longer.'

Drake smiled "thats ok. I make sure to take care of your clothes when they get dirty" with a sly mile he said "Maybe even sooner then that'

Shelno grinned and shook her head. 'I need to wash these often,' she said.
