Kaeryn Kaeryn took her hand without hesitation. "No problem." Silently they walked down the hall. |
Xander followed James to the kitchen and came upon the giant room,"Wow thats alot of food".
Xander noticed the others and gave a small smile,"h..h.ello"he said shyly. |
(( sorry about the no post for a while >< ))
" oh yes xander, there is bllod packets in thr fridge if you would like one or more." james smiled ay xander." its ok have as many as you like." |
Alex sits at a table in the study, reading a rather large tome and sipping some refreshing peach tea. She stirs only momentarily at the creaking of the floor board as one of the cattle meanders through the halls. Sighing, Alex murmurs to herself before resettling in her armchair and resuming her book.
As they went exploring Mela was surprised at how many beautiful pieces of art and antiques around the place. When they opened a door Mela sees someone sitting there. Uncertain of who or what it is she hides behind Kaeryn.
Alex hears further movement and glances over to find two figures sanding in a door way. Clearing her throat, Alex says in her sweetest tones "Hello. May I offer you some company? Perhaps a bit of intelligent conversation? Tea?" She waves her arm to the dest she was sitting at, bearing a teapot full and a few extra cups and plates.
Mela stayed hidden behind Kaeryn and waited for her to make the first move since she was the vampire. Mela though peaked at the new person and wondered if she was a vampire or a human. Sometimes she just could not tell.
Alex sighed, hoping the inhabitants would be more social. "I won't bite," she chuckled at the unintended pun, "at least not now. All I need is some civil interaction. Really, do you not care to partake?" Alex gestures again at the seating around her table.
Xander's eyes grew wide at the thought of blood packets,"I...can't James,I haven't had blood in years,it wouldn't be pretty".
Xander tried to fight his urges to tear each and every packet open and let his animalistic side take over. |
" well what about a cow? we have those at the disposal, there is a room just for that we'll work you up to the blood packets, and do you hurt humans if you have blood? im just wondering i dont eat humans unless they provoke, or are a bad person other than that i stick to the packets."
Alex rose from her seat, exasperated, and journeyed the halls, checking the place out... She hadn't been here long, so she was unsure of all the places. "That's fine," Alex whispered to herself, "I like exploring." Whistling a jaunty tune, she nearly skipped as she looked into many nearby doorways.
((o.O okay, just trying to give her a chance to reply ))
Kaeryn Kaeryn eyed the other vampire and stayed silent, walking on throughout the halls, pulling Mela gently along. "Lets keep walking." As they got far enough away she whispered to Mela. "I'm sure you'd like to be around company youre not terrified of." |
Mela kept a good hold on Kaeryn's hand. She whispered to her, "Thank's Kaeryn. I don't mean to be so scared. . . but I can't help it. I don't know how I would be handling all this with out you guys." As she looked around she said, "I wonder where your room will be? Perhaps I could stay with you." She tried not to blush as she continued, "I feel a little embarrassed staying with a man in his room."
[[Yeah, sorry ^^; I get impatient really fast ._.; Cute avatar, bu the way =D ]]
Kaeryn Kaeryn smiled. "That'd be fun. Who are you currently staying with?" Her eyes glanced up at Mela as they walked. |
"I'm staying with James in his room. The reason why is because he has a special barrier that keeps other uninvited vampires out. He said it would protect me from the vampires that aren't so nice. It's just I've never stayed in a man's room. I bet you think I'm just a country bumpkin but I guess that's just how I was raised. I think I would be more comfortable staying with another woman. Maybe he could put a shield around your room as well," she said to Kaeryn. He would feel more at ease with her in her room but she liked the idea of the protective shield. She looked at Kaeryn and said, "I hope you don't mind me asking."
Kaeryn Kaeryn looked up "Not at all. You're my first connection here. It would be nice to have a roommate." |
Mela couldn't help but smile at the vampire. She was feeling better about being here and was glad to have found a friend so quickly. Still smiling she said, "Thanks Kaeryn and it would be nice to have a roommate. Next time we see James we will have to ask him about the shield." She looked at the woman and asked, "So what sort of things are you interested in? I hope I'm not being nosy. I just thought it would be nice to know a little more about you."
Kaeryn Kaeryn shrugged. "Pretty much everything. Drawing, Music, Reading. I Vary." She yawned and slumped her shoulders. "Yourself?" |
"I mostly like to read and garden. I really love gardening. This place is so big I'm hoping they have greenhouse that I could work in," she replied. Mela noticed the yawn and said, "Maybe we should go find James so you can get a room."
Kaeryn Kaeryn nodded. "Good Idea, I'm kinda of getting tired." She flattened out her dress. "Favorite flower?" |
"I think they were headed toward the kitchen so we should make our way back there," she said as she led the way back to the kitchen. When Kaeryn asked about the flower she had to think a moment, "It's hard to choose but I think I would have to say lilacs. What about you, what's your favorite flower?"
Kaeryn Kaeryn luaghed softly. "So cliche, im a sucker for roses." As she thought her sentence over she blushed. "No pun intended." |
Mela gave a light laugh feeling so much more relaxed around her, "It doesn't matter if it's a cliche they are very beautiful flowers. Do you prefer a certain color or just like all roses in general? Perhaps if they have the greenhouse I could grow some for you."
