Katy almost laughed as Violet's claw went through the couch.She bit her lip and hid her face on Josephs chest."I don't know...if your stuck or not.I'll help you find a way if there is one."Katy said the first words muffled until she pulled her face away from Josephs chest.Alice sighed and giggled as Pepper set his paw on her head."Ya I guess..."Alice said rolling the paper back up and sticking it in her pocket."I'll show it to some people..."She said smiling at Pepper.Joseph sighed."I'm not sure...if there is a way to change back..."Joseph said looking down at Katy.Alice came out from behind Graves wings and sat cross legged on the floor."Ay,my cikala wicinca..."Joseph said meaning Ay,my little girl. looking at Alice.Alice smiled and said."I am not little."She said jokingly walking over to him.Joseph hugged Alice smiling and looked at Pepper."Hello..."Joseph said not seeing Pepper until he had hugged Alice.

Love felt bad because she couldnt do anything for Violet. "Dont worry about the couch." she said trying to smile. She began to cry.

Graves gave her a hug folding his wings around the both of them. "Wait. Violet? Didnt we come frome heavenly desent? My mother used to tell me stories when I was just a young boy and i faintly remember something about our goddes being one of the Roman gods." he said majorly confused because of all that had happend.

Alice looked up at Love as she cried.She couldn't stand seeing the tears falling down her cheeks.Alice stood wanting to hug her but Graves wings were in the way.She looked up at him as if to say may i?Katy cuddled against Joseph also wanting to hug Love but knowing Alice would take care of it for sure.Alice set her hand gently on his wings telling him to move.She smiled at Love caringly."Hey Love...hun don't cry..."Alice said looking at her with tears in her own eyes.

Violet tried to smile at everyone. They all seemed so sad. "I'm not sure about that Graves. I don't remember honestly. But, if there's nothing that can be done, then I don't think that you should all be sad. And if there is something that can be done, then you should definitely be happy! Please stop crying guys. I guess it's not too bad. I actually feel..." she paused, "More alive, I guess I could say."

Violet looked at Pepper who was reaching in his little pouch again. "What are you looking for now, Pepper?" She smiled. Pepper jumped away from Alice and ran over to Violet. He had another small piece of paper in his mouth and he dropped it in her claws. Violet carefully unrolled it to look at it. "What--? How do you get all this stuff, Pepper?" Pepper meowed and jumped up on the couch beside her.

He pointed at a picture of the roman god Zeus standing on a cloud and then down to a human. "The story goes," he meowed, "That Zeus had relations with this woman. And when she was pregnant with his child Hera found out. Of course she was enraged so she tried to put a curse on the woman. When the baby was born it looked like a demon with bat wings. She hid it from the world because she knew that only she would love it." He paused and looked up at Violet. "A look only a mother could love." He laughed.

Violed scowled, "Watch it you!" And then she laughed. "But I can see what you mean."

Pepper continued, "Over time the baby grew up living in the forest. One day he met a woman and saved her from some theives. She fell in love with him... blah blah blah... They had a family and more demon kids. Til one day a winglie met an angel. I'm not sure why they would get together but they did. After that the babies started to have feathered wings and look more human. Til they came to what they look like today." Pepper ran over to Graves and pointed up at him with a paw.

Graves unfolded his wings so they were behind him and no longer around nishi. He stared in surprise at peper. "Thats almost exactly the same story that my mother used to tell me. Exept hers was mor apropriate for a young child. So we wernt demons just cursed children. And mabey thats why my wings are black." he said shaking them. "My mother had a story for the wings and why the angel and winglie got together. I can remember some of them if you would like to here them Violet." he said quietly.

Love listened closely. She stoped crying. "Graves.. Your such a great friend." she said.

Alice's eyes flashed and she turned on her heel and walked over to Katy and Joseph.Alice jumped up and into Joseph's arms.He hugged her and smiled."What wrong cikala wicinca?"He asked her.Alice shook her head no cuddling up to Joseph.Katy looked at pepper in wonder haveing not heard the story before.She rested her head against Joseph's shoulder and stroked Alice's hair gently not saying anything.

Violet nodded at Graves. I'd like to hear more about this story. When i was younger and there were many Winglies, we didn't focus on the past so much. We just lived and were a little bit selfish just going from day to day. I never actually heard any of these stories. I bet that some demons had something to do with how we ended up looking,too."

She picked up the mirror and looked at her reflection again. "Well, how you ended up looking I guess is more accurate."

Alice growled and did a back flip out of Joseph's.She ran out of the room and up to her's slamming the door.She didn't even flinch when it fell off of it hinges.Katy sighed and ran after her."Alice...?"She asked confused as she stepped over the door and into her room.Alice didn't want to talk to anyone so she jumped out of the window and ran as fast and as hard as she could.Getting away from everyone.Katy didn't think twice and followed her daughter knowing Javeline's allies were after her....Joseph walked up the stairs and saw the door on the ground.His eyes widened and he ran back down stairs."Katy and Alice are gone!"He growled out running out the front door and following their scent.

The door slammed shut behind Joseph and Violet jumped to her feet and stumbled back a little bit. "What!? Where did they go? We have to find them! It's not safe out there..." She took a few wobbly steps forward and caught her balance on the wall. Moving hand over hand she slid down the wall towards the door, grumbling at herself. "Move legs! The right way!"

Pepper ran over to Violet and said, "Try using your tail for balance. That might help. And remember that you step bending your ankle first, and then your knee. Like an animal." He smiled and put a paw on her scaley leg.

Violet nodded and said. "I'll try. Thanks." She straightened out her tail and flicked it from side to side using it to gain her balance whenever she felt like she was going to fall. Before she knew it she was at the door and gripping for the round handle. Her claws slid off it and all around it every time she tried to grasp it. And when she did grab it, she couldn't get any leverage to turn it. She felt flush as she asked, "Can someone please open the door?"

Alice ran faster and harder than she had ever in her life.She was faster than any vampire or demon that she knew of.She stopped as she ran across a spiritual border.She fliched as it zapped her.She followed it to a huge open gaping sprit portal.She looked around seeing many demons swarming around and staying on the side she had just crossed onto.She ran and jumped into the portal seeing what had happened that made it rip open in the middle of no where.

Katy frantically ran after her daughter not catching up.It was starting to get very dark and she knew it was the time any spirit or demon could come out if they wish.She tripped on some invisible thing she looked back and saw nothing.She sighed and stood her leg protesting.She growled and stood not letting the pain stop her from getting her baby girl.

Joseph had caught up to Katy and saw her fall.He stopped and felt around where she had fallen.He knit his eyebrows together.It was a rock that should be in the spirit world but was surfaced here.He couldn't think a reason that it was there unless the spirit world was mixing with the world.He shook his head and ran after her after standing slowly.

"I'm gonna have to do a major repare job on this house." Love said to herself quietly. "And it is to safe here she yelled after the people fleeing her house. She walked over to violet and Opened the door. "Lets go" she said to graves and violet then ran out the door after Alice, Katy, and Joseph.

Graves towards the door and stoped by Violet. "Guess your gonna have to hear another time. Cuz I have to go after Love. I have to. She is my best friend. So lets go." He said and ran after Love swering to himself that he would fallow her to the ends of the earth.

Violet was the last one to leave the house. The door was wide open in front of her now. Nothing stoping her. But she paused. Looked at Pepper who nodded up to her and then took a step outside the house. Even though it was dark her eyes automatically adjusted to the low light and could see like it was day. She smiled. This was almost nice, she though.

Pepper ran and jumped onto Violet's back planting his paws right between her wings on her shoulderblades. "Why don't you try flying? They are so far ahead of you now..."

Violet spraed her wings wide and felt the wind lift her up almost immediately. She felt light as a feather. Moving her wings slightly to the left she tilted and flew sideways almost hitting the house. With just a small flick of her tail she turned and faced the house using the wind to rise quickly up the side and clawing at it to move faster. As she reached the top she burst past the roof and then folded her wings to land lightly on the roof. She looked out into the night and saw a lot of ghostly images.

"What--What are all those things out there Pepper? Were they there before?"
Pepper looked past her shoulder, "Those are demons and spirits from the other side. They are always flating around. You just couldn't see them before, but there are a lot more than normal..."

Graves caught up to Love. "Time to fly little birdy." he said to her and picked her up. im glad i was a chosen 'bird' as my mother always told me. being faster than anything even a normal winglie or well any god for that matter is nice. he thought. i wonder if violet is faster than she was befor he asked himself.

Awe shit. Love thought as he caught up to her and picked her up. No way i could have ever out run him or fly for that mater. she thought. "Hey graves? I read your thoughts. What does chosen bird mean?" she asked him.

He listened to love's question. "Its part of a myth my mother told me when i was a boy. any winglie who can fly when there born is a chosen bird. As far as she would say. theres only 1 born every like..' he did the math in his head. "...One million or so years. I was born with silver wings. They matured into a black color that shines in the night as you already know. My mother said a chosen bird can fly faster than anyone on the planet. She also said they wont know there true power or reason for being on the planet tell they either die or almost die. Wich scares me a bit. And she said that the one with silver wings will save as all. I hope she isnt talking about me. I dont think she was because she died. So i didnt save everyone." he left out a lot. He couldnt fly faster than a god yet. And he probly wasnt faster than Violet since she devolved. They were pritty fast back then. And still are. he also left out that the one born from sliver will die in the prosses of saving the world aka silver wings and the profecy also said life beond death, death beond life. it scared him and he didnt know what it ment.

Love thought for a second. "Well. I will be here with you for all of it." She said with a smile on her face.

Violet spread her wings spotting Graves carying Love about 2 miles away from here. He was moving pretty fast. Really fast actually. "I guess we'll just follow them," she said to Pepper. Pepper jumped up on her head and squinted into the darkness.

"Follow who? Katy? Alice? Who is it?" He sniffed the air but smelled everyone that had recently passed since they were so close together.

"Follow Graves and Love. They aren't too far away. I can still see them." She pointed and then looked up at him. "You can't see them? Wow... maybe this new body isn't so bad after all." She grinned and shook her head making him slide down to her shoulders again. "Better hang on. Let's see what these wings can do."

Violet let the wing lift her body from the roof and a little higher. Almost into the clouds. And then.... she dove! The scenery whooshed past and she could feel Peppers little claws dig into her scales to get a tighter grip. She didn't want to lose him so she turned her wings to stop and came to a complete stop.

"Whoa. The brakes work!" She laughed reaching back to grab Pepper. Holding him in her claws gently she flew off after Graves again, slowly gaining on him.

Alice looked around frantically."Oh my goddess..."She said as she saw the chaos that was streaming in the spirit world.She didn't know what to do and suddenly a demon flew over her and knocked her over making claw marks on her cheek.She screamed in agony as her venom started to seep into her blood stream.She growled and ran deeper into world following a darkened path that seemed to have not so many creatures on it.She ran to one of Katy's old friends homes and ran through the door."Katlin!!"She screeched and she ran over to her."What is it Alice?"She asked her frantically searching her eyes.Alice flinched as the venom stung and felt as if she was starting on fire."Go look outside..."Alice said resting her hand over the wound.Katlin ran over to the window and then ran back to Alice."Alice..the only way to get that out of you...is to suck it out..."she said flinching."Ya i know.."Alice said looking at Katlin."Can Devontay do it?"She asked Katlin and looked over as he came out of a room his eyes black.Katlin looked at him and he nodded picking Alice up."Hey little girl."he said kissing her other cheek that didn't have the claw marks on it.

Katy struggled and then ran into the spirit world looking around in fear for her daughter."Alice?"She called hoping she was close by.When she got no answer she started to freak.She ran as fast as she could not getting a scent from anywhere except for a strong scent of blood.She growled and ran looking for Javeline's old home thinking Alice may have gone there.

Joseph was surprised when he found Katy's body outside a gapping portal to the spirit world.He sighed and jumped into it.He was surprised yet again when it stopped him from going into it.

Graves picked up speed. He was worried. He saw Joseph and dove down stopping just in time to land safely. He noticed the barrier. shit he thought. "Love we cant go throught. It wont let us." he said.

Love felt the force of gravity pull her as he dove im gonna be sick she thought. When they landed he put her down and said "Love we cant go throught it wont let us." but she didnt hear him she almost fell over wabled away frome them and went to puke behind a tree. I hate that feeling. Thats why i wont dive when i fly. she thought to herself.

Joseph growled in ferious."I need to help them.."He growled out angrily trying to get to Katy's thoughts.He read her thoughts and his eyes widened."NO!"He growled trying again.He couldn't get through and sighed trying to calm down.He walked over to Love and held her hair up as she puked.He leaned down to her."Are you okay?"He asked her quietly sighing.

Katy got there and growled in frustration no one was there and she didn't know where to go know.She sighed and ran over to an old friends house.She smelled Alice and sighed in relief.Wait...she smelled her blood as well."Alice?"She said and Alice kissed his cheek and then ran to the door pulling her in."We have to get the portal closed..."Alice said to her walking over to Devontay.He grabbed her head so she wouldn't move and sucked the venom out.Alice flinched as the venom increased once and then disspersed.She sighed in relief thanking him.He pulled away from her not a drop of blood or venom on him."Your welcome little girl."He said and laughed when she glared at his nickname.

Katy looked at her in confusion."What?"she asked Alice."We have to go and get all of the spirits that aren't supposed to be out there and then close the portal with a spell.."She said and Katy and Alice along with Katlin and Devontay ran to the portal trying to catch all of the demons and spirits...

Graves sat down on the ground. Well.. not quite sat but more floated above the ground in a cris cross position.

Love sighed and stoped puking. "Yeah. Im ok." she stared at graves. "What are you doing?" she asked him.

Violet swooped in and came to a stop standing beside Love. "Hey, what's going on? Why are we all... whoa. Is that... the other side?" she questioned as she moved closer to the tear. She slowly reached a claw towards the rift and to her surprise she didn't feel any resistance like she had before. The claw passed through like going through jello and then nothing on the other side. She pulled her claw back in quickly and looked surprised at the others standing around. "I think I can go in there..."

Joseph nodded at Violet."If you fell no resistance you can pass through..."He said looking at Graves questioningly.Joseph helped her up."And i'm glad your okay Love..."He said to her and then looked at Graves as well."Yes...what are you doing?"He asked him.

Alice had found a baby demon lying in the grass hurt and had picked it up taking it back in through the portal when they got back through it snapped at her.She handed it to the mother and ran back out."That was close..."She said sighing looking around."Ugh!We're never going to get all of the these demons back!"She said tackling a demon.He roared and kicked her off.Katy ran at him tackling him as well and Katy and Alice together pushed him back through.Katlin screeched as a spirit tried to take over her body and dodged it making it hit the portal.She giggled as it fell through and went to help Devontae with a demon...

"Yeah well you probly can Violet. Go on go through." Love said. "Well what are you doing graves?" she asked him again.

He fell to the ground. "oufff, Oww" he said. "I was thinking till I heard you all talking. Its hard to stay up there like that for to long." he said rubbing his sore butt.

"Haha. Sorry graves. But you wernt even using your wings. Now how can that be?" she asked him.

"I dont know. My mother always said it had to do with me being 'The Chosen Bird'." he said.
