Alice looked up as she heard soft taps on the window above."Mommy?"she whispered softly still clinging to Love.Katy looked where Alice was looking and went outside.When Katy was outside she looked up to the roof."Violet?"Katy whispered quietly.Alice did a backflip and landed on the floor.She ran outside and hugged Katy's legs.

Violet looked down and saw the female vampire from the first bar. It didn't seem that the male was with her anymore, but she might know where he went.

She rolled forward and landed softly on the ground next to the female.

"I'm sorry. I don't think we have been properly introduced," she said as she stood up slowly wrapping her wings around her. "I'm Violet DeBlanche, bounty hunter. And you are?"

Violet felt like there was someone else here but didn't see anyone so she ignored the feeling.

"Alice go get your body already!"Katy laughed.Katy held out her hand."I'm Katy..."Alice looked up at her mother."Fine!"She laughed with a hint of worry.Alice didn't know the woman with wings and didn't really trust her...She had been in the dark world for to long....Alice ran into her room and lay onto her body.Once she did she got pulled back into the darkside...Alice looked around and saw Javeline.She didn't want to live with him anymore so turned around and got pulled into a swirl of black and white mist.When she could open her eyes she did and saw all of her own stuff again."Mom?!"She cried scared that Katy wasn't there anymore.

Violet looked around and didn't see anyone. Confused she asked, "There is someone else here, isn't there?"

"Hold on a second..."Katy told Violet and quickly ran up the stairs and into alice's room."I'm right here baby..."She whispered and picked her up running back down the stairs.Katy ran out and to Violet."Yes there is and now you can see her..."She said and kissed alice's soft hair."Violet...Alice...Alice...Violet..."She said and Alice hid her face under katy's hair.

Violet smiled. "Hello Alice. Nice to meet you" She tilted her head to the side and added, "Now if I only knew your mommy's name."

Violet saw a bush near the road move slightly. She kept her eye on it but didn't want to alarm the two. It might just be the wind, she hoped.

Katy held out her hand."Oh sorry.I'm Katy Avian..."She smiled.Alice looked over at the bush and sighed was it Callie her friend from the dark side.Alice shook the thought off no it couldnt be...She thought,and held tightly onto her mother."Long story...let's just say I found her and she was a spirit...and we had to find her body..."Katy said and tilted her head slightly hearing a growl of some sort.

Violet smiled. "Nice to finaly know your name. Hmm... Avian. That name sounds slightly familiar. Interesting story about the little Alice too. I can't say that's one that you would hear every day." She paused, "I don't mean to allarm you but I think you are being followed. You probably already knew that though."

Violet rested her right hand on her weapon. Just in case.

Love finally stopped crying. She 'noticed' a woman was talking to Katy and Katy's daughter had her body back. (Yay!) Calmly walking outside she noticed that It was Violet DeBlanche... The bounty hunter. i wonder.... this would be a good time to meet her. I wonder if she could live up to her reputation. she thought blocking her thoughts from everyone. "Hi I'm Love, I'm the gardian angel of water and i'm also half vampire." she said walking up to Violet Deblanche and extinding her hand to shake hands with her.

Violet looked at the woman who had extended her hand to her. Happily she shook it and said, "Nice to meet you, Love. Seems that there are many interesting people out tonight. I wonder if the full moon has anything to do with it." Love looked like she had been crying. Violet wondered why and felt like she wanted to help her. Though she had many problems of her own, being a bounty hunter meant that she had a desire to make things right for other people too.

The bush shook again and Violet turned her head to look at it. She sighed. "If that's who I think it is, you had better just come on out now. We all know you're there."

A small tiger striped cat walked out of the bush on all fours and then stood on it's hind legs. It raised one paw and wiped the snow off it's face and looked up at the 3 girls. It turned it's head to the side and blinked.

Violet sighed. "Pepper. Why are you still following me?"

The cat made a pouty face and said, "You know why I'm following you! I have to help you on your mission. Your daughter was-"

"Pepper. That's enough. I know we've been over this more than once. You are a cat, not a normal cat, a hellcat. So, you can't really help me if I'm after someone that can control you."

Pepper sat down and looked the other way. "But I could get information for you," he said quietly.

Violet shook her head and looked at Pepper. The best thing for the cat was to stay out of the way, and she had an idea. "Say, Alice. Would you be Pepper's friend? He's really lonely and that's why he keeps following me around. If you'd play with him, I know it would make him really happy." Pepper looked at the little girl and frowned.

"She reminds me of her," he said quietly.

Violet nodded. "I know. That's why you're going to be her friend and keep her out of trouble. You wouldn't want anything to happen to her, right."

Katy smiled and Alice giggled.Alice tapped her mother's shoulder's."Can I?"Alice asked her mom.Katy smiled at her and set her down gently.Alice walked slowly over to the cat."Hello..."Alice giggled softly.She reached her hand out not sure if he would let her pet him or not.Katy looked at Violet.Katy rubbed Love's shoulder's lightly."You okay?"She said in barely a whisper to Love."Violet...Is there a specific reason you came to see us?"Katy asked Violet politely smiling at her.

Violet looked from up from pepper who was purring and nuzzling Alice. "I just thought that maybe you needed some help here." She smiled looking around. "maybe if we went somewhere else? I don't really like standing out here in the open."

"Yeah I'm ok." she said to katy while staring at the hellcat. its been a long time since ive seen one of thoughts. she said blocking her thoughts.

Alice giggled softly as the kitty nuzzled her.She petted his head softly and sighed."Your so soft..."She said and smiled."I saw a kitty like you in the spirit world?!"She whispered softly remembering one time when a kitty had tried to hurt her daddy,but it had looked just like this kitty.Katy nodded."Would you like to go inside....?"She asked her quietly."It's probably safer and warmer in there.."She stated smiling at her."Love...can you get Alice...and Pepper..."She asked her and smiled at them.

"Sure no problem. Hi Alice. Hi Pepper. Will you guys come with me? Your moms going inside and she wants me to bring you in." she said bending over so she was more eye to eye with Alice. and pepper...

Alice nodded and held her hands out so Love would pick her up."Kitty?"Alice asked pepper holding her arms open for him.She smiled sweetly at him looked at love again seeing if she would pick her up.

After the 'kitty' got picked up by Alice Love picked up Alice herself. Careful not to smash Pepper. "Ok in we go." Love siad sweetly to Alice.

Violet looked around and went in after eeveryone else had made their way in. Putting pepper with Alice was a good idea. Not only did it keep him out of the way but he could help protect Alice from any danger. She had a feeling that Alice would need all the protection she could get.

Inside the house the lights were off. Violet turned on the first light and looked around. "Cozy."

Katy smiled."I guess...this isn't my house..."She smiled."We just had to get something..."She said and turned around swiftly when she heard a door shut softly.Katy ran to the light switch and turned it on.She gasped as Javeline walked out of the door as a demon.Alice looked over and saw a man that looked kinda like daddy.Alice held pepper a little tighter,and clung to Love."Oh my god!"She screamed and ran over to the couch to grab a baseball bat.She didn't get the chance because he had ran to her and picked her up."Let me go!"Katy yelled at him and bit down hard on his arm."Get alice out of here!"She said as he dug his nails into her skin drawing blood."Mommy!"Alice screamed and struggled to get to Katy.

Not letting alice go Love said. "Violet i trust you to take care of that thing." and ran out the door with alice and took off. I cant.. no its my only choice.... dad? she thought. Im sorry to bother you but this girl needs a place to stay im going to leave her with you in the sky please? i have to save her mom now! she thought hoping he heard her. suspended in quiet sky with the only noise around was alice strugling to get away. "Sweet heart give her too me come back fast with her mom too. I can take the hell cast too."her father said. "Alice dont bee scared this is my dad. i promise i will come back with your mom. I promise." she said looking at alice. "Please go with him?"

After he took her she flew as fast as she could back to katy. hoping she wasnt too late.
Bursting in the door she saw...

Violet re-loaded her guns and pointed them at the demon that was holding katy. She breathed slowly and aimed directly at his head. Pulling the triggere she felt the recoil as the special bullets flew from the muzzle and hit true to their target. Two small holes appeared in his forehead and began to smoke and burn away the demonic flesh.

The demon howled in pain and dropped katy to the ground. Violet ran over to her and helped her to her feet. "Got out." Violet said in a low voice. "I'll finish up this little problem" He wasn't a strong demon. Nothing like the one she had faced earlier that night. She aimed at his chest and fired again making a hole where it's heart would be.

The demon fell to the ground and writhed around making an unearthly sound of pain. Violet edged closer to him, preparing the final shots that would send this demon back to hell. She stood over him and mumbled a quiet prayer before pulling the trigger that would put a bullet into each of his eyes. Closing the portal thru which the demons operate and sending it's soul back to the firey embers of an ever burning hell.

Alice struggled to get away until Love flew into the sky.She looked around frantically."But my mommy?!"she said quietly...frantically.As Love started to talk the clouds dissappeared and revealed a man holding his arms open to her.He smiled softly and talked to Love.Alice tried to hide behind Love's hair but love handed her to the man.Alice reached her hand behind her so Love would take her back."Love?"She whispered,and tried to get away from the man.She didn't feel threatened by the man but just realized that he wouldn't hurt her.She looked into his soft eyes and smiled.She layed her head on his shoulder and whispered."Where's my mommy?"She then sighed and looked at him questioningly.
Katy's eyes widened as Violet pulled two exotic guns out.She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as Violet pulled the trigger.After she had she sighed a sigh of relief then fell to the ground roughly.Violet ran over quickly to her and helped her to her feet."Get out." Violet said in a low voice. "I'll finish up this little problem".Katy nodded and ran to the front door as she got to the door Javeline whispered softly"I'll be back my love..."And she slammed the door shut.Katy looked at Love hopefully."Where's my baby?"She asked her knowing that Love had took her to a safe place.

"I'll be back my love..." The demon eeked out between his thin lips as the bullets pierced his eye sockets. Violet shuddered as the demonic body went stiff and then turned to dust in front of her. The soul had left the body and the body quickly decomposed. Ashes floated up into the air and became smaller and smaller as it disappeared.

Violet turned and wiped her brow with the back of her hand. She put her hand guns back into her thigh holsters and silently wished that all demons went down as easily as that one had. Unfortunately, they can, and do come back. The only way to stop them is to stop their master.. the man she has been searching for, for 14 years now.

Violet walked to the door and slowly pushed it open.

Katy looked at Violet and was thankful that she was in one piece.She knew that Javeline wasn't very strong so she wasn't surprised."Violet..."She said,and walked over to her."Thank you...I kinda froze when I saw him....because I had seen him die....I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there...."She said quietly to her.She turned slightly to Love."Thank you also love...if you werent here...my daughter would have been tooken back to the spirit world with that horrible man...."She said quietly.
