Katy blinked."Power?"She asked Alice."Ya...I can...i don't know let me show you..."She said and got off of Katy's lap.She walked over to where there was an open space.She closed her eyes and raised her arms.Katy's eyes widened as one of Katy's old friend that lives in the under world came up out of the floor."Alice stop..."Katy said intentally and he dissapeared.

Violet watched in near disbelief as a ghost looking person was coming through the floor boards. "Alice stop..." Katy said and the "ghost being" disappeared. Violet rubbed her eyes quickly and looked again. The apparition was gone and only little Alice stood in the middle of the floor.

Violet turned and found a box of crackers in the cupboard. She opened the box and took out a pack. Holding them in her teeth she closed the cracker box and put it back in the cupboard. Violet walked back to the table and sat on the opposite side of Katy. She sat down gently making sure not to sit on her wings. She hadn't noticed until she stood up but she was really tired also.

It's been years, she thought, many, many years. That's all. She shook her head and said, "That's some powers you have kid." She looked at Love with a pained look. "I know this probably isn't the right time to tell you all this but I think that you should know." She paused and took a deep breath.

Loves eyes widend when she saw the 'ghost' she sat down so she could listen to Violet.

Katy blinked and looked at Alice.Alice smiled sweetly at her and laughed at her shocked face.Alice went back over to them and sat onto her mothers lap.Alice looked over at Pepper wanting to hold him.Katy shook her head shocked and looked over at Violet."Okay Violet what do you have to tell us?"She asked her her voice completely calm.

Violet tried to smile and seem casual. "Well, I'm not sure if you've noticed but I'm not really human." She opened her wings up as if to prove it like no one noticed yet. "And I'm not a demon... or an angel... or a vampire." She glanced out the window and saw the full moon. "Oh and I'm not a werewolf if that's what you were thinking with the full moon. That's just a coincedence really." She sighed and said almost to herself, "I'm a, well, what you might call a Winglie. Not sure if you've ever heard of one, but a Winglie is an ancient race that used to live here on earth many many... many years ago. Like, a few thousand years ago actually."

Violet paused and looked back at the three of them sitting around the table. "As far as I know, I'm the last of my kind. The demon Damien killed my kind, one by one he hunted us down for fun, just for pleasure. We had never done anything to anger them and he did this..." Her voice trailed off and tears began to well in her eyes. "Dispite the odds, I found my true love and we had a child. Everything was wonderful, for a while. I guess you can't be happy forever, right?"

A tear rolled showly down her cheek and she quickly brushed it away and sniffled silently. "Sorry. This is the part that gets hard for me. I've never really told anyone before, but I kinda feel like I can trust you. We've been through a few scrapes and such but... One night Damien found us. We were living at the base of a mountain in the tropics. He burst in and burned our house to the ground in an instant. We had prepared for this because we always thought that it would come someday. My husband pushed me and our child, our daughter, into a tunnel that we had made when we first arrived. He fought against Damien, but.. he lost his life trying to save us."

Violet looked down at the table. "In the tunnel we built ran deep into the mountain and thought that we'd be safe there... but somehow Damien made the tunnels collapse and we were burried alive. My daughter..." another tear rolled down her cheek. "My daughter was.... crushed." She went silent for a moment and then continued, "I made it out somehow after I don't know how many days of working to move the boulders out of the way."

She looked up with a firey look in her eyes. "And this is why I've been searching for Damien ever since. That was nearly 700 years ago. Ive done various jobs to get by, though Winglies have long life spans we still have to eat and find shelter. The bounty hunter feels like it suits me, since I get to hunt down the human's demons, the evil beings that harm other people for fun, much like the demon did to me and my family. But I realized that just wanting to make Damien pay for what he did isn't going to be enough since they can make these alternate dimensions." She sighed. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do now."

Alice had moved over from her mother and over to Violet.She hugged her gently and curled up close to her trying to comfort her."I could...um track him if he's in the spirit world right now...if he's still alive..."Alice said quietly.Katy blinked in surprise."I had no idea...Well Violet...if you want to hunt one of his kind...or him...we can help."Katy said knowing her daughter was very powerful as was some of the people she knew.Katy looked at the door right before Joseph knocked.Katy sighed I'll be right back.Katy walked to the door and opened it."Nicuwintku kin toktuka hwo?"He said and hugged Katy tightly.

Violet smiles down at Alice. She lightly put a hand on the top of her head and looked at Love. "I'm not exactly sure about this but, I have been thinking of this since the second run in with Katy's ex. I was hoping that you... might be able to help me, once you get some time that is. I wanted to run an idea by you." She looked towards the doorway and added, "Right now just doesn't seem to be the right time for it."

"thats fine" she said calmly. Then she rememberd something.
Love sat there in surprise. Then she realized that she knew a winglie. "Oh My Goddess. I Know a winglie. HES MY BEST FRIEND!!!!!! I cant belive you dont know him. Hes like 1600 years old. I met him when i was little. OMG! I have to go get him now...!!" she said practicaly running out the door. She took off. She knew exactly where he was too. Hiding. She burst into his door "OMG OMG OMG!!!" she said giving him a hug. "ITS SOOOOO GOOOD TO SEEE YOU!!" she said dramaticaly. "You to Love!" Graves said.

"Guess wat? Guess wat?" she said. "I found another WINGLIE!" she grabed his arm and draged him to her house. "This is Violet DeBlanche." she said excitedly. "Hi. The names Graves. Graves Sharton." he said extending his hand.

Violet was surprised. More than surprised even. When you think that you are the last one of your kind for hundreds of years and then find out that you were wrong, you would find yourself at a loss for words, too.

She stood up and gripped Graves hand shaking it tightly. "Violet, Violet DeBlanche. I'm... pleased, to meet you." Her eyes were wide and her mouth hung open until she realized that it was and she closed it quickly. "I'm sorry! It's been... almost 700 years since I've seen another Winglie. What were you---Where were you---How did you---... I've got so many questions I don't know where to start."

Katy almost fell as Love ran out of the door and back.Joseph caught her and held her."onspekiya miye..."he said meaning teach me."Onspekiya nis taku?"Katy asked as he held her.'teach you what?' "Onspekiy miye Wasicun iapi..."He said ' teach me Engish...' "Yan!"Katy said taking his hand.'Yes...'She had said.She ran past the winglie's and into a different room.Taking him into the living room.Alice smiled at them and looked at she looked at Love."Um...Love...can I go help my mom?"She asked love and looked nervously up at Graves.

"Oh Alice it ok Graves is very gentle." Love said. "But yes you can go with your mommy." Love was so proud of her self. She just united what was posibly the last two Winglies on the planet. She smiled.

"Well... Its nice to meet you Violet DeBlanche." Graves said shaking her hand back. "Go ahead and start anywere" he said to Violet. "Where is your backless couches?" he asked Love.

"This way. Come on." she said walking into a room with two couches exactly the same and sat down on one.

Graves walked into the room and sat next to her.

Vilet followed them and let out a little laugh. "You even have winglie friendly furniture.. and angel friendly, too." Violet sat down on the free couch and crossed her legs leaning back on her hands and looked at the ceiling. So many things rushed through her mind, she didn't know where to start. "So, where have you been hiding out all these years? Do you have any family left?" Violet could only hope but she had a feeling that his answer would be no.

Alice smiled nervously and disappeared into the shadows.She appeared beside Joseph scaring him.Joseph jumped back and Alice and Katy laughed.Joseph smiled at Katy and hugged her."Hau Alice..."He said and set her back down."Hau...leksi...." 'Hello...uncle...'She said smiling brightly at him she kissed his cheek."Ayustan icu ya..." 'Lets get started...' Katy said and looked at him.Joseph nodded and smiled at Katy.Katy started and was surprised when Joseph caught on very quickly."Okay Joseph...What's hello mean?"She asked him to refresh his memory."Hau..."He said smiling."Is...that...right?"He asked still quite unsure of his English skills.

"Actualy.. I hid in a house that Love had made a berrier around so no one but her and me could get in. My family died in an accident when i was still young." he said quietly.

"Yep! Angel friendly. But i dont really have to worry about it. I can bring my wings back in." She said. Then listened to Graves talk. When he was finished she gave him a big hug being careful of his wings. "Its ok." she said to him.

Katy nodded and smiled at him."Do you understand what I'm saying now?"She asked him.He smiled at her and nodded."Yes...I do."He said looking up at her in question."Yup you got it..."She said sighing."That was easy..."She said looking at him for recognition."Yes...it was...but only understand...easy word..."He said and smiled at her.She nodded and introduced Alice in English."Well since that is done.This is my daughter Alice..."She said holding Alice on her lap.Alice smiled at him as he looked at Alice in surprise."Daughter?"He asked Alice."Yup Katy is my mother!"She said her eyes brightening."Oh!"He said getting up and picking Alice up and kissing her cheek.Alice giggled and hugged."Uncle Joseph..."She said smiling at him.He felt the love for Alice already and he didn't know her yet.He smiled at her."Okay...Katy everything good?"He asked winking at her still holding Alice.

"A-ha. I see. That would make sense why a demon wouldn't be able to get through an angels barrier. You must have been there a long time. And if only you and Love could get through that would explain why no one else ever found you, even by accident. So what have you been doing to pass the time? You couldn't just stay in the house the whole time." Violet asked Graves. Then she said to Love, "And I didn't know that your wings could 'retract' per say."

"Well yeah. Didint you see my water sparkle of light thing?" she asked bringing in her wings and showing her.

Graves listened to Love. "Well.. Time does take a long time to pass. I have probly rad every book there ever was. And I have every game system. I have instaled a home gym, home theater, indoor pool, and it still gets really boring. Love comes to see me often. I cant really go out in public because of the wings. And that just didnt work for me." he said remembering the bordem.

"I think that people just assume that I'm some kind of demon or angel when they see me. And being a somewhat famous bounty hunter people don't really bother me anymore. I'll have to retire in a few years though. If people start to notice that I'm not aging very quickly at all. Or I could just move to another region. That is, if I don't get Damien before then." She shook her head talking to Love now. "I didn't see your water sparkle of light thingy actually." She laughed.

"Really?" Love said.

"I have heard alot about you Violet. Your in a few books and all over the enternet." Graves stated.

"Oh. I didn't know that I was such a popular character." She starts to sweat a little bit. "That's not really fair considering I don't know anything about you now. But... what did it say about me exactly?" She was interested to know what the humans thought about her.

((haha.. yeah. Just wanted to make sure :P))

Graves thought hard and for what seemed like forever. "I dont remember" he finaly said.

Love sat there and listened.

"Oh," Violet said a little disappointed. "That's ok. I have more important things to worry about I guess. And whatever it said about me was probably incorrect. Probably said that I was a witch or something because houses and bars happen to burn to the ground around me. Humans can't see the demons when they drop their human form so of course they would think that." She sighed.
"Well, I'd like to see your house sometime Graves. If I could get through the barrier," she laughed and then said more seriously looking deep into his eyes. "I wish I had known about you a long time ago. It gets lonely after so many years. Everyone gets old and dies and... I'm still here. Still searching."
Her voice trailed off and she looked at Love. "So, do you think it would be ok for me to see the house?" She looked back at Graves questioningly.

Love smiled. "Of course. I can let you in easy. Just need his permisison." she said.

Graves laughed. "You can see me hous. NO problem." he said. Then he got serious. "I know the feeling. A long time ago befor love was even born.. Well i had to deal with the lonleyness. Lucky me Love will never get old and die. He said smileing.

"You are quite lucky, Graves. I hadn't known anyone except humans until fate made me cross paths with the people in this house. I guess it's my lucky day." She smiled. "I really miss the old winglie cooking though! I used to spend a lot of tiem in the kitchen with my mother when I was little just taking in the sights and the smells. And the clubs..." She smiled. "My friend used to own a club in the City in the Sky. He'd always let me in free and I'd get free drinks too. The good old days."

She stood up and started to pace. "I'm getting a weird feeling sitting here." She looked around and a chill ran down her spine. "I-- this place doesn't feel safe to me." She looked at Love and asked, "Do you have protection around this house too?"
