Vincent grimaced as the beast managed to sink it's teeth into his shoulder. The weight of the beast soon caused the two to fall back, Vincent landed hard with the beast stilling firmly on top of him.
Vincent raised his knee and tried kicking at the beasts belly, he was finding it hard to move, he was pretty much pinned to the ground, the beast's jaw seemed to bit down harder as they had hit the floor and Vincent let out a cry. "AH! filthy mangler! i'll show you!" he growled back. grabbing the beast's jaws in his hands he manged to get a few off his fingers inside it's month to pry the mouth open. he dug his fingers into the beats face and gums trying to open it's mouth to get his shoulder free. He tried frantically kicking the beast again and again in the stomach, it's claws still deep in his flesh cause him so much pain with each kick he gave. Lexera was about to run up the stairs after Anzel when she tripped on the first step and fell face first into the step. blood escaped her mouth and and nose, the pain was unbearable, she'd broken it. great now i cant help at all! pushing herself up she placed a hand over her nose and winced as the pain came in one large swoop. "ahhhh" tears began to well in her eyes and she headed for the kitchen to find something that would stop the bleeding. she ran right passed Nichole not stopping as she reached the sink she coughed up a lot of blood before running the water. Anzel soon let go of the girl's hands as the reached the door where the fighting noises where coming from. he went to open the door but found he couldn't "fregin spells, pain in the asses they are!" he cursed. stepping back he tried ramming the door with his body weight only to find himself with a sore shoulder and not a dent on the door. |
The beast was pleased having the small creature in his jaws. When the creature tried to pry his jaws apart he was both furious and intrigued at it's strength. For a while it was a bit of tug-o-war with the jaws neither giving way. Suddenly the small beast had landed a solid kick in the soft part of his belly. His attention was distracted for only a moment but it was long enough.

Vincent took advange of the the beast distraction, he got the jaw open just enough to removed his shoulder from the beast's clutches. He was now covered in deep gashes because every time he went to kick the beast be it a miss or a hit the beast moved ever so slightly causing it's claws to move as well. i need to get out from under it! he thought in sudden panic as it's claw inched closer and closer to his heart, there were only two things that could kill him, ripping his heart out and a beheading, so still situation was a little close for comfort.
"Now baby if your after my heart" he shoved the distracted beast with his full focus and manged to get out from underneath him. "all you had to do was ask" he winked at the beast before speaking in his hypnotic voice. "Calm yourself wolf, lay down and sleep!". He figured it was worth a shot, his powers were weak against those without master's but maybe just maybe the boy inside the beast would feel obligated to listen. |
The beast was pissed his prey and managed to get out and was getting ready to attack when it's gaze shot into his mind. It paused for a moment and snarled out loud. It shook it's mighty head confused. This was not his master. . .he had no master to hold him. He slashed at the floor ripping it apart upset at the inner turmoil. Some sane part slowly slipped in saying, "Yes this is a master . . .you want to obey him." The beast roared at this and glared at the creature. It did not lay down but it did not attack again either.

Vincent took a deep breathe, he hadn't realized but he'd been holding it. "Vaynel you can hear me." she smiled but soon frowned as he was brung to his knees, his clothes now soaked in blood, all the while not taking his eyes from the beast. It seemed to have stopped. "Vaynel if you can hear me, Control the beast take it into your being, make it your own." his breathing heavy he didn't think he could take much more of a beating without blood, and he'd had no sleep, he was rather weak and probably wouldn't survive another round. If this works, by god i'm gonna start preying to ya man!

Vaynel could not really control the beast but more send the beast confusing thoughts. It had always been up to his masters to give the beast orders and he would sort of nudge it unconsciously. The beast let out another roar wanting a true master not this 'sort of' master. The beast was getting confused and did not attack but it would not back down either. It stood almost as if on a cliff's edge.

Vincent frowned, the beast seemed utterly confused, "wow okay that didn't work the way i had wanted it to". He stood slowly dealing with the pain. "running out of ideas here!"
he slowly walked his way around the beast to the cage that he seemed to have bent and made into metal mush. Keeping his eyes on the wolf at all times he tried bending one of the bars back into shape, it made a loud creaking and cracking noise before straightening to what it had looked like before the beast had rapped it. He moved to the second bar. |
The beast watched the creature curiously and now realized how bad it had tasted. It began to clean it's self licking off all the dead blood. It seemed that unknowingly to both Vaynel and the beast that bit's of Vaynel were indeed coming through. . although a bit slowly. For some reason the beast could not stand the idea of being so dirty and sat down to keep cleaning it's self.

Vincent frowned and watched as the beast began cleaning himself. Smiling he lent in closer to get a better look to make sure he was imagining things. "no way" he whispered. bending the last bar in place he sat himself down on the bed in the room.

The beast stood up when the creature moved from the cage and growled low not knowing what the thing was doing now. It would not be caught off guard and it would protect it's self. It still did not attack but took a step forward. Was this creature up to something?

I saw lexera running, and decided to follow her since i was sure blood came out of her nose, oh my how had she done that?

Vincent decided to do the unthinkable, he patted the beast behind the ear as it had took a step closer to him. "you know when your not trying to kill me you kinda cute, like a kitty but bigger". of course he had to stretch out rather fare to reach the animal as it wasn't right in front of him.
"i'm not planing anything, you've won this round, there's no way i could win another round with you i'm to weak." he told the beast with a yawn. (Vincent's at it again treating things like pets XD)) Lexera raised her head from the sink her hand still over her nose. "i think i broke it when i fell and hit the stairs, silly i know, but it's not the first time ether." she explained to Diamond with a funny sounding voice. |
The beast snapped and lunged pushing the thing to the floor and stood over it. It was debating whether or not to eat it. The beast decided this thing tasted bad and wouldn't make a good meal . . . but it could always kill it for pleasure. Drool dripped down from it's jaws as it thought. Something sparked again that said master even though the beast knew this wasn't right. IT shook it's large head again confused.

Vincent didn't really fight bad as he was thrown to the ground again with a thud. "high floor nice to see you again!"
a bit of drool seemed to drop onto Vincent's fore head. "ewwwwwww man do you have to do that really!" he wriggled his way out from underneath it, his body aching. "i was being nice and you go and drool on me, real mature buddy, real mature!" he laughed alittle. before looking over at the beast again. "so why are you so confuzzled hey, someone telling ya things in ya head, it's called the real you get used to it, it's ain't going away." standing he moved inside the cage and sat at the entrance to it. |
The beast did not like what was going and wanted to kill the creature but at the same time couldn't. Unknown to them all it was Vaynel's own subconscious fear of the beast running about without a master that held it in check. Apparently this fear was greater the beasts need for death. The beast looked at the cage and now wanted to be inside it like it belonged there. It padded toward Vincent but kept shaking it's large heavy head. He tried to get the oddness out of it's mind but couldn't.

Vincent stared as the beast came up to him, he moved aside allowing an entrance to the cage. "wholly cow" he mouthed.
"ya know Vaynel with a bit of training you could completing be in control of him, not so much on a full moon, but every other night you could, if you'll let me help?" he put the request out there, hopefully when Vaynel woke up the next morning he would remember what happened this evening....hopefully. |
The beast was getting sick of this and snapped at the thing this time bitting him but not holding on. Still it was a fair amount of damage. It simply did not want to eat or kill something that was already dead. It plopped down in the cage agitated then stood back up. It was almost as if it was fighting the underlining fear. He stared hard at the creature and bunched up it's muscles getting ready for another attack.

Vincent was a little shocked. "HEY you bit me, and after i was being nice to you." he glared at the thing somewhat playfully, shaking his head he approached the the cage, he shut the door quickly and bolted it.
"man i do not have the strength to seal it again and besides i think if you tried to get out again, you'd really hurt yourself, i dont think your that stupid." |
The beast threw himself against the cage as the hold of fear slipped further and further away. Vincent had hit the nail on the head though, the beast was tired. It's internal organs had taken quite a number with the magic barrier and had he not been as strong and large as he was it most likely would have killed him. His eye sight was still really screwed up as well. The beast was not clever enough to realize the magic had left the cage. It knew it could not break out again with the limited amount of strength it had but even if it could the magic would sear it's body again. With that the beast huffed and laid down.

'well I guess it could happen' I said bending some water on my fingertips, drawing a small rune on lexera's forhead. Light emitted from all of her wounds (if she had or has those) closing fast.
'All done, now where were you planning to go?' I said with curiosity written all over my face. Maybe I could help? |
Kasumi looked at the woman, a small smile on her lips. Her arms were bound and chained above her, She flexed, her muscles toned, she puled her lower body up, as if she were sitting, before spreading them, so the soles of her feet touched the top of the cage. Looking at the woman upside down, she smiled, her golden brown hair falling in waves. She held that position for a few minutes before answering.
"Simple, I have to keep in shape." She answered, before flipping back down. Kasumi then began to pull herself up, while her legs spread out before her in an v-shape. Wearing only cream white shorts and a dark rusty brown midriff tank, her body was exposed, cream cloth that resembled stockings buckled to her shorts, her feet concealed by heavy boots, and her arms wrapped in black gloves, also holding buckles. Each time she moved, her muscles made themselves known. Kasumi even caged wouldn't let her strength wither, she wanted to remain strong, as any fighter should want. |
Nichole trotted off in another direction, she didnt know where anyone was. Her ears were straight up and she looked around. a shiver when through her. "Where is everyone" she asked herself. she grabbed her tail and hung onto it like a lifeline, "i dont like to be alone"

Alexia watched and wondered what had happened. She sat quietly but sang quietly to herself.

Lexera touched her nose. "wow it's all healed!" she exclaimed with a smile on her face. "that's a rare ability you have, very nice, i wish i had something like that." he smile soon turned into a frown, "but i'm stuck with the powers that can hurt people."
snapping herself out of it she explained what she was doing before she fell. "i was following the Vampire hunter, up to Vaynel's room." her eyes widened in fear. "i just set a Vampire hunter free, in a castle of vampires!" grabbing Diamonds arm she ran out the door, out the corner of her eyes she spotted a small figure moving away. "umm miss Nicole is that you?" she called softly over to the hunched over person. Vincent tensed waiting to see what would happen once he'd closed the cage door, bolted it shut the odd fashioned way, he smiled as the animal laid down. Picking up the blanket that had been thrown out side of the cage in all the drama, he placed it back inside the cage, not on the animal but close enough for Vaynel to grab it when he woke up. lifting his head he looked to the ceiling stretching out his neck he sighed. "glad that's over....for now" his voice sounded weak, he would need to feed and soon to get his strength up, but he thought it wise to stay in the room long enough to see the first signs of sleep in the animal. But he didn't make it that far, he drifted off himself falling onto the bed he lightly snorted as sleep to over. His heart rate slowed, and he grow ridged and cold, if anyone were yo find him, they'd think him dead, if of course they didn't know that when a vampire slept there internal organs shut down and his body took a 'dead state' Anzel chuckled to himself as he lay over a beheaded body of what used to be a Vampire. "i may be a slave, but i still have my skill's" smiling to himself he walked over the body as it turned to dust, licking his lips he scanned the hall way for more 'victims'. "i smell vampire here, there and everywhere, come meet your maker!" he bellowed throughout the castle halls. He'd lost Alexia a while back after spotting a Vampire aimlessly wondering around he couldn't help himself he'd gone after it, and of course when he was done he'd looked up to find her no where to be seen. "i wonder where the little angel flew off to, i was starting to like her." He began wondering aimlessly around from that point onwards, for all to find. |
Nichole jumped and looked over at lexera and nodded, "Hi" she said quietly. Her ears flicked up but she still clung to her tail and quivered.
