'Oh my it began bleeding again? You should have told me...' I said whilst worrying was spreading across my face. It goes faster by the minute... And lucifer would kill her if I slow down the process.... Damn Damn Damn.
'One second...' I said as my fingers moved slowly over the spot, I was trying to give her the exact amount of light magic since the demon magic was there and could start an internal war with the healing aura. 'Your losing blood way to fast, it would be to dangerous for you to offer you some of mine, so instead tell me immediately when it starts bleeding.' I said with a stern voice, it wasnt a request. |
Her eyes went to the angel and she nodded. The nod caused slight pain to her as she looked to the castle. "What did I miss?" Sikura was so confused and worried about Damien. He was closer to her before she passed out and now he was so distant.
|
Phoenix was nearby watching everything proceed. At one point she had turned her gaze to Talon wishing she had been able to help. Though she knew that at times it was better to stand down than proceed. It seemed as some time went on that his pain grew less and she wondered if his Lord was playing with him in a similar mannerism that Methos played with Zeak.
As she continued to watch, always having been a bit fascinated by demonic culture and behavior, as some of the lower ones began to gather. It seemed they were protesting something. In no time at all the little leader of the band had been killed quickly and decisively. She had not seen it happen but she guessed it was Talon. If anything, she had to respect how talented the man was, even if it was at killing. |
'Now, if you want to see your 'prince on his black horse' he is having a small gathering, to announce that everyone needs to lsiten to the treat, but I am sure he comes back for you.' I said smiling, happy she accepted my help, and wasnt stubborn.
|
"Why yes..yes I am" He grinned at Talon. He too heard the lowly demons and wondered if his father was telling the demons back home why this was a good thing to them. Maybe he would say something later about it. he looked at his second, noticing a change in him. He leaned over slightly.
"What's up Talon? I know us being blood thirsty is a trait but you look like you want to start a war already! We must be patient!" |
(Woot the many forms of Talon. Yay for insane Talon. XD)
Talon gave a slide glance towards the Prince. "I look as if I want to start a war hm? That actually sounds like quite a bit of fun. I would say between the three of us up here I have been rather patient. In fact throughout this entire night I have been, however..." he began saying quietly, pausing only for a moment. He was still rather controlled enough to know that his words had to be chosen rather carefully as one small mistake could very well be the end, and at the moment he knew that was not something to be done just yet. "You must remember my dear friend, throughout this entire night your father's been torturing me relentlessly until recently. The pain has subsided a bit to a level that to me is slightly more enjoyable and tolerable. This of course has caused myself to become fully aware of the angelic aura in this room, especially without my patch. I have also just spilled blood, I think I have every right to be downright jovial. It didn't help of course you got me a bit riled up earlier and then backed down. Giving me something to look forward to, such as an all out brawl between us since we haven't had one due to my absence and I am a bit curious if I'm still able to end in an almost tie with you or finally making it an official tie, and then giving making me feel such disappointment when you calmed down. Such cruelty on your part. You should have remembered that I get...oh what's the term they use nowadays...battle happy?...at the very idea of a fight" he said with a rather insane and menacing smirk and a quiet laugh that sound just as maniacal as his smirk looked. For a brief moment it looked as if Talon had completely lost control, though he closed his eyes and quickly fought to calm himself for the time being. After a few moments of silence the bat winged demon's smirk disappeared and his eyes reopened to reveal a somewhat calm look in them. "However I won't turn this place into a blood bath just yet. That fun is set aside for a much later time. If you're that worried though that I'll snap and lose myself at the moment I'll simply go and attempt to distract myself from myself for a while..." he said calmly standing from his knelt position. He took a few steps down from the throne area and stopped only briefly and turned his head to the side so that he was now talking over his shoulder. "Though I admit I may have to slip away temporarily and perhaps...'level a few areas'...away from here of course" he finished calmly. He then turned his head straight and once more began his departure from his friend and Prince. Naturally 'level a few areas' meant destroying a few villages, homes and possibly kill if not mortally wound quite a few humans, but then that was a sort of code between demons so he wasn't concerned if the Princess heard the phrase. He knew angels, aside from ones who actually understood the demonic lifestyle, didn't quite understand demon code and to them 'level some areas' could simply refer to hard labor or destroying a few uninhabited patches of land. He decided though that like the idea of turning the place into a blood bath that 'fun' would have to be pushed aside until later, when he knew he wouldn't be able to control himself. He knew of course that could very well happen relatively quickly unless he found a distraction. His eyes began to scan the crowd and finally came to rest on the angel known as Phoenix, and the one that had caught his interest. It was not the same kind of interest though that the Prince had in the human Sikura, rather it was more like curiosity. He had noticed that she was perhaps one of the only angels that hadn't made any sort of assumptions or judgments about the lifestyle the demons lived. She was also one of the two healing angels that had offered to assist him and even came when Damien's first outburst about the human had occurred. During that time she had also shown a great deal of courage standing up to the enraged Prince and defended her kind, which had gained his respect. This too made him rather curious. It was then he decided that now was as great a time as ever to converse with the angel. He approached her in a rather calm manner. He was never actually one for directness when it came to 'new' people so instead of standing before her he went towards the side casually as if his intent was really just to observe things in the same area as her. As he calmly positioned himself so that his back was at least hovering relatively close to the wall, as his right wing prevent actual contact, he glanced over towards her for a few moments. He also hadn't heard anything from his second about any sort of comments or assumptions about demons, as opposed to the other healing angel and Princess that he spoke with. He thought perhaps he would take that approach in speaking with her. "I hope you do not mind me being here or perhaps the idea of me conversing with you? It's just I've noticed you seem rather...different from the angels here. Not once have you made any sort of comment nor assumption about demons as far as I can remember. I'm a little bit curious as to why that is, if of course you don't mind my boldness in asking such at thing" he said rather calmly. It was a bit of a change from a few moments ago when he had conversed with Damien as it was as if he were back to how he had been during most of the night. |
Phoenix was watching the room keeping check on some of the lower angels. Things were relatively calm even with the ever present tension in the air. She was on her guard though since one never knew when things would suddenly change.
As she was standing there she noticed Talon walk in her direction and stand near by. She was curious about him but was not sure if she should approach him. Luckily, with her work as a spy she could completely conceal her angelic aura. She had done so from the beginning and was grateful since it seemed that angelic auras bothered some demons more than others. Still she knew from stories that Talon could go into a battle lust of sorts and he had come close a few times. If she approached him and he was on edge it could be disastrous. After a bit, to her delight, Talon spoke to her. She turned to and looked at him as he spoke which she had always been taught was polite, in both races, unless it was a person in power. She gave him a small smile and replied, "I do not mind at all Sir Talon. In fact I am honored you would speak with me." She thought about his next statement and wondered if he realized how true it was. She was very different from the other angels in looks and attitude. Phoenix knew that the demons were still upset with the fact that she had been a spy among them and was not sure if she should bring the topic up. However, on further thought she respected Talon and would not demean him by giving any thing other than the truth. She said to him, "I do not mind you asking at all. Much of my views stem from the fact that I lived among the demons for quite some time." She paused for a moment thinking back to the times she had been in the demonic realm. "I learned much from the fallen and the demons during those years and your culture has always been some what fascinating to me. I can say with out shame that there are even aspects of it that I admire. Though there were things I did not agree with as well. I find that our ideas tend to be on opposite ends of the spectrum and it can be difficult for either side to understand the others point of view. This is also why I find humans a bit interesting since they can have a balance of our differences." |
Talon calmly kept his gaze on Phoenix as she spoke, he may have been a demon and on a slight homicidal edge, but that didn't mean he wouldn't return the politeness and respect that the angel showed towards him. Besides as she spoke he realized that he didn't hold the contempt that he did towards some of the other angels. He also could feel that her angelic aura was currently suppressed and for that he was indeed thankful. He wasn't exactly sure how long he could hold off his urge for bloodshed, but every little bit that eased it a little helped. He thought about her words as she told him that she had once lived among the demons and fallen. It didn't take him long to piece things together. "I see. So you're the one that got away. That's quite an admirable feat and I applaud you on it Miss Phoenix" he said with a calm and genuine tone of respect.
As she spoke about the differences of the angelic and demonic race the bat winged demon couldn't but also think back on his time as an angel. "I can understand that, and I do agree that the lifestyle ideas of the races do appear to be on the opposite ends of the spectrum. And I can honestly say that there are some things that can be seen as rather...distasteful aspects of our culture to some" he said agreeing with the half mechanical angel. In his mind he was comparing some of the aspects of the different lifestyles, especially since he seemed to have finally found someone who wasn't a fallen or demon that didn't completely condemn everything of the demonic culture. "I don't typically admit this openly, but there are even some aspects of the angelic race that perhaps I wouldn't mind being implemented in the demonic one. Although there are too angelic aspects I don't fully agree with either, but then I suppose that's only natural. I also agree that to some extent humans are fascinating since they are able to implement things from both races into their own culture. Who knows maybe this peace treaty will even cause angels and demons to be more like them" he said with a quiet but pleasant laugh. |
She was a bit taken back that Talon would find her actions worthy of respect. Angels that knew she had been a spy found it distasteful and demons that knew wished her dead for it. He had been the first and only person on the demon side who had respected her actions. She said with a faint blush, "Thank you Sir Talon. I must say though that you are exceptionally talented yourself. I learned of many of your various battles not only in the angelic realm but also the demonic realm. You are an indeed a formidable warrior and tactician. Though we are on opposite sides your talent and skill are worthy of respect."
Phoenix thought on his words before replying, "Sadly some of the things which I would like to be seen done away with need to be in place for many of the lowers. It is interesting how some of the things we find distasteful of the others culture is implemented for the very differences that are in our races. Demons and angels will always behave somewhat differently I think. What I find vexing is that many can not simply understand what makes us different and learn to live with those differences" She gave a faint smile and added, "Though I suppose if things were that easy we would not have been at war for so long." She took pride in the fact that she was an angel but did not let it make her arrogant in believing she was better. Phoenix moved her gaze over the crowd to some of the humans and said, "I think one weakness both of our people have is that we take the humans too lightly. They can be just as hopeful as an angel and just as hateful as a demon. I have studied them and their spirits contain a very unique type of magic. It is almost like a blending of our two very different powers, yet isn't like them at all." Phoenix turned her ruby eyes back to him and said softly, "I hope I am not boring you with talk of my studies. I enjoy observing and studying perhaps a bit too much." She gave a small laugh as her wings moved a bit. Her metallic wing accidentally brushed against his arm. She stepped back and bowed her head a little saying, "Forgive me Sir Talon that wing I some times over extend." |
Talon soon caught the faint blush on the angel's cheeks and couldn't help but slightly smile in a pleasant manner. "I assure you what I do isn't quite as praiseworthy as your own accomplishments. Mine is merely as simple as mindlessly killing and doesn't require too much thought. Yours on the other hand requires a well thought out process, something I'm sure I couldn't accomplish and for that you have my admiration. Thank you though for your compliment" he said gently.
For a few moments he closed his eyes and thought about just how true the angel's words were. It was the differences between the races that caused the tension between them. "I'd have to agree with that as well. If angel's and demon's truly did simply accept the fact that each race is different in their own respect and simply accept that fact, then there's a good chance this war would not have spread beyond that of the two Lords and the fallen. To be honest I'll admit that there were and still are times I have wondered what the purpose of the fight between the two is. I can understand the fallen's reasoning for fighting against Methos, however demons that were born as such really have no reasoning. After all originally this was a war that was to be between the fallen and the Lord of Heaven to begin with. I sort of wonder were things got muddled enough to where angels and demons became involved. When you look at it angels and demons really aren't that much different from one another. Their views may appear to differ but the original ideas behind them are not much different. If that was realized then perhaps this war may not have expanded as long as it did. But then as you said if it were that easy then it wouldn't have gone on as long as it has" he said quietly as he opened his eyes and peered too peered around at the crowd that was mixed of angels and demons. The bat winged demon didn't regret that he was now a demon. Rather he felt he enjoyed things more than when he was an angel. He had seen both sides of the coin and had chosen the one that suited him best and took pride in his decision. Naturally though it didn't mean that he didn't question his choice sometimes. "I will also agree that a similar fault of both races is how each perceive humans. Both races seem to believe them to be merely weak beings, and I will admit my own perspective was the same. And yet one simple human was able to conquor over the Prince of Hell. I can't say I saw that coming...Humans...how it is they are able to balance both sides of the 'coin' while creating a new one at the same time without destroying themselves I've no idea. Perhaps that's something I'll never fully understand" he said quietly as his gaze returned to the angel beside him. His smile remained and he chuckled quietly. "On the contrary. I hope I'm not boring you with my mindless ramblings. I'm not bored at all. In fact I find I rather enjoy having such conversations with someone of the 'opposite' race whose mind doesn't seem to be clouded by petty judgements" he said once more closing his eyes. He opened them once more as he felt her mechanical wing brush lightly against his arm and at her apology. He was both slightly surprised and not by the fact he didn't feel any sort of pain from her suppressed angelic aura at the light touch. "Relax, there's no need for such apologies Miss Phoenix. I don't mind. To be honest once more I'm actually quite curious about it as well. It's something unique and I haven't seen before" he said quite honestly and giving her a slight reassuring smile. |
Penelope watched as the prince and talon entered. She slowly sat and listened to the small introduction Damien had givern her. she even waitied silently for the prince and Damien to quell their conversation. She kept her moth shut knowing that in her slight anger and irritation, with the peince, words would fly that she would later regret. She watched as the demons protested what the prince had said and it startled her to suddenly see the "ring leader",as it were, get struck down by Talons presition aime. She was rather surprised to see this happen but quelling her slight excitment, penelope, stood just as Talon stood and left. It botherd her not what he was about, but these silly code words made her shiver slightly at the many things it could possibly mean. With a sigh Penelope began.
"We have come up with a few work in progress terms amond BOTH demons and angels." She bagn stressing the inportance of how both sides must cooperate and not breake this treaty. "To start, the demons and angels will have a regular meeting between the hears and ranking officals to enhance the treaty,Disgussproblems with the treaty and further prevent war!" she said continuing on."This war we have will stop imedatly. As soon as The prince and I return home we will have our fathers withdrawl troops from all fronts and stop fighting all together."Penelope herard some complaints comming from both sides but with a small clearing of her thouht and a deep breath she kept going. "Finally If a demon or angel are to EVER com into contact with one another, on the human plain, then they are to communicate peacfully. If they arenot peacfull in their meeting then punishment will befall both!" She stated and sat down listening to the small outrage from The agels. The angels felt that the demons would never uphold their end of the bargan and That the angels would become cheeted. Penelope only looked over at damien to help keep the piece between the two sides. Zeak could here the boughts of anger comming from the ball room. it made him rather unconfertable to be sitting their while his princess fended for herself. Slowly he got to his feet, fighting back the pain he felt from loosing his angelic aura, and stumbled towards the ballroom. With every step he gained momentum and soon was walking normally and holding himself together. Their was no way he was goinglook like a fool, let alone a weakling infront of the angels or demons. No he was going to look like a trator among the demons and a fool amond the angels. He walked through the crowd and up to the throns untill half way up the steps his legs protested going any further and dizzyness set in. Their in the steps he sat his hands on his knees and his head bowed waiting for any to approch the thron and tempt their fate. |
Phoenix had to admit she felt calm in his presence which was odd considering how feared Talon was amongst so many. She gave a small smile in return and said, "I assure you that I am not bored and your words are not mindless ramblings. I must say it is quite refreshing to have someone so stimulating to speak with. Often times people find my opinions and studies rather ridiculous. It is pleasant to have someone who not only understands but does not mind to listen." She had meant every word.
As they had talked she found herself enjoying his company and wondered for a moment if that made her less angelic. She did not stay long on that thought though since her entire life she had been the odd one out. She mostly accepted that not only did she appear different but that she also acted differently. When he mentioned her metallic wing and his interest in it she could not help but get a fond look in her eye. She said reverently, "When I was finally discovered as a spy among your people they had nearly succeeded in killing me. I lost my arm, wing, shoulder and some of my upper chest to that attack. It was the work of my father that saved me. He is a genius bioengineer and he had been working with some proto types. I was the perfect candidate for the procedure. The material is almost indestructible and I can even sense and feel things with my metallic appendages. You may touch it if you like and inspect the work. I know the my own thirst for knowledge makes me quite curious so I do not mind." |
Damien listened and his eyes looked over every demons to make sure they stayed in line. "All of what she says is true and consider it the law of your respective kings. As for my fellow demons. If you have any questions at all please bring them to me." He grinned evilly and most of the demons decided it was better to keep quiet but another one shouted out. "What about that fallen near the throne? What happens to him?"
Damien looked over at Zeak. "Nothing. I have no say in that matter, at least not up here. Lord Lucifer may have other ideas." That seemed to appease the demon as muttering went up on both sides. He leaned over to Penelope. "So..was that all we had to say?" |
Talon couldn't help but continue smiling. "It's indeed a refreshing thing. I'm no longer sure how rare it is in heaven to find someone who are willing to have intellectual conversations, though I know in Hell it's not a common thing. It's nice to find someone who doesn't think my words are mindless babble and aren't bored by them and have someone even reply to them honestly, rather than saying things they'd want me to hear. That's perhaps one real downside to being a demon. Everything is ruled by fear so the ones you speak to happen to reply in manners they'd think you'd want them too" He said calmly. It was perhaps one thing he wouldn't mind changing, although now that angels and demons were to cease fighting he'd finally be able to converse with the angel he found that appears to be more comfortable in his presence rather than on edge around him and trying to please him.
He too was enjoying the angel's company, something that was rather rare even for him. For once he was actually pleased that he had been forced to come to this thing, otherwise he probably would have never met Phoenix. He wondered for only a few moments if perhaps it was also due to the angelic part of him that had been sealed away those many years ago during his transformation. He then immediately dismissed it as he felt it couldn't possibly be the case. Talon quietly listened to her explanation and story about how her metallic parts came to be. He was a bit surprised when she offered for him to touch them. He recalled that when her winged had lightly touched him he hadn't felt any sort of pain so it wasn't something he currently concerned about. Carefully he outstretched his hand, as his eyes watched for any sign of distress or unwanting from the angel, and very gently began to touch the mechanical wing. When he found that it truly was alright his eyes went to work in inspecting the metallic work. His touch was both curious but still very gentle and careful. "The workmanship is indeed exquisite and well done. Your father is indeed no amateur in his work. I'm actually quite...relieved that my kind did not kill you, or perhaps we never would have been able to meet and talk like this. It's perhaps strange for a demon to say such things about an angel, but it's true nevertheless" he said pausing in his inspection to gaze up at her as he spoke with a sincere smile on his face. In the background he could hear the decree of the heirs and made sure he was aware of anything towards the thrones, especially towards Damien's. He had vaguely heard the lower demon's questioning of Zeak. The fallen's presence hadn't gone unchecked by the bat winged demon and he kept careful tabs on the said fallen's movements although he did not directly look at him. He had felt that Zeak had been rather foolish to try and make deals with Methos that invovled his status, after all he knew that it could be nothing less than one of the King's sick traps. When it came to the fallen he truly was cruel towards them. It was perhaps one of the reasons he despised the King of Heaven so much. It wasn't the only reason, but it was one of them. 'Such a fool to fall for such things. I wonder if he knows he's simply a pawn in Methos's sick game...' he thought with a mental sigh. He could once more hear the laughter of his own Lord in his mind, though it wasn't as booming as it had been previously. Both he and Talon knew just how true the bat demon's words truly were, after all they too were pawns themselves and in a way still were, after all every game needs an opponent. |
Phoenix could not help but shiver a little at his touch. He was unexpectedly gentle with his hands while they went over her wing. She could not help but blush a little at his touch. The blush was due to the fact that it was rare that anyone of any race touched her and it was an odd sensation for her. Most races shied away from her since her appearance seemed to hold that which was angelic and demonic. Her looks were unsettling for most and she had met only two people in her life who had been willing to touch her. The first was her father and the second was old demon from when she lived in their realm. Now there was Talon carefully and willingly moving his hands along her wing.
She felt a bit odd for saying it but felt she should. Meekly she said, "Thank you for not being fearful or disgusted by my appearance. I doubt you fear much but it is pleasant that you do not find my form vile. People's opinions of me are sadly often based off of my odd looks rather than my personality or talents. I must say you continue to increase my respect for you Sir Talon. You seem to base your judgments for others on more than what you see, which is always wise." Phoenix thought on his words and said, "I as well am glad that I have this opportunity to speak with you and if that makes us strange then I do not mind. " She gave him a smile and knew that they both spoke candidly and without airs. It was definitely refreshing. |
Penelope looked down at Zeak. he looked so pittiful, she wished she could do something for him. Something to stop all of his pain and all of her fathers toying with him. She had ealized that sence his strong desire to stay on the side of heaven, Lord Methos had begun to toy with his emotions and his strong desire to work his way back to the high rank that he was. Now that he was so close it seemed her father had ripped it all away.
"So..was that all we had to say?" She heard Damien ask her quietly on the sie. it shook her from her thoughts and made her look back at him. She gave a small shrug. "i-I would hope that all of you obide by these laws like i know you would if the kings themselves layed them down!" She spoke up quickly covering for her small stammer at the beginning of her statment. "But if they had run this then nothing would of gotten accomplished." She added with a small sigh before continuing. "So i implor you, for the remander of the night, please mingle with one another. Demons to angels, Angels to demons! We must start some place and why not here where we are alredy together!" With that said penelope seated herself and watched as zeak quivered in pain from time to time. Their was nothing in the world that could stop the pain of changing to a fallen, and nothing to stop Her father from making it worse. Zeak kept his head bent as he listened to the small outburst of the demon. He was glad that Damien somewhat blew it off and made it an aceptible responce. At the moment zeak was falling into dispair. all he had worked for was gone and all he had strived for was snatched from his grasp by the heavnly lord. He had no thoughts knowing full well that Methos would here them. Silence was his only sheld agenst the Lord of all light. He listened to penelope speak her closing words before sitting. A very good statment. get them to at least speak to one another and enteract on peacfull terms before they go and kill echother in chance meetings. |
(Lol now that I think about it isn't Zeak already a fallen? XD)
Talon paused for a few moments when he felt the angel shiver a little. His eyes again went to Phoenix's to ensure that it had not been from repulsion at his touch or that it was no longer welcomed. Once he was sure that, that had not been the case he couldn't help but continue his curious but gentle investigation. It still surprised him that she was allowing him to touch her, after all aside from the Princess there really weren't many angels that would allow such a thing due to fear that his touch would not be one that wasn't harmful or would end their life. Of course then there was the factor that typically a touch to an angel, especially without his dark patch, had the potential to send him writhing on the floor in pain. At her words he once more glanced up at her with his different colored eyes. "I thank you for that compliment, and for not being repulsed by my touch either. From what I've encountered in the past a demon's touch usually isn't welcomed by an angel. Although even some demons too don't exactly welcome my touch since I wasn't born one. To some degree I can understand the judgment that comes from appearances. This accursed blue eye that I contain isn't exactly something that's welcomed in either race. This is perhaps one of the many reasons I usually have it covered. Although I know it's not the same your mechanics and my eye are somewhat similar in some respects. Your base of judgment on a person seems similar since you neither cower nor cringe at either my sight, words or touch and for that you too have gained more respect from me as well" he said gently and sincerely. Her last couple of words also made him think. "If that does make us strange I'd much rather we be that rather than people that we aren't" he said with a smile. He could still hear the Princess continue to speak and had caught her stammer, as well as her request that angels and demons mingle among one another. He knew that the chances of the lower demons doing such a thing was perhaps a lower chance than the demon's slightly higher than them. He also knew that the lower demons would be watching those higher than them such as Damien and himself. This of course would put pressure on them, but Talon knew he could handle it. What was more concerning to him and even, Lucifer in the back of his mind, if the Prince could. He wouldn't just be left alone to be with his human after all. The lowers would more than likely attempt to coax the Heir of Hell into breaking what had been set forth or alter it to be more advantageous to the demons. |
"Sounds good." Damien got up, bowed to the Princess and walked over to Talon. He first looked at Pheonix. "Excuse my intrusion for a moment."
He then turned his intention to Talon. "Well? Is father pleased? Is he going to stop it?" |
Talon had become quite engrossed in the conversation with the conversation with the angel and his curious exploration in her mechanical wing so he hadn't expected his Prince to either speak or be near him at the moment. This of course caused him to be a bit surprised and caused him to also direct his gaze towards Damien. Before he decided to answer he quickly turned his attention back towards Phoenix and did a small bow. "Excuse me for just one moment Miss Phoenix" he said calmly before once more giving his attention back to his friend.
"To be honest I haven't really been paying much attention since Lord Lucifer is no longer bellowing or shouting things at me for the time being. I would say if the human isn't dead yet then he must be some form of pleased, though you should already know that he's never fully pleased. More than likely though you will still not have time to be with your human since merely decreeing and speaking what is to be done is quite different from actually enforcing it. You will more than likely have to mingle among the angels yourself and even possibly coax or force some of the lower demons to peacefully do the same. I'm sure that will ensure my Lord to cease spreading the mark. You should also know though that Lord Lucifer will more than likely stick to his word, but he usually does have a bit of a catch to it. He'll probably stop the progress of the mark, but if he does indeed do so then he will more than likely reverse the progression. If that occurs he will also permanently remove your mark from her and if reapplied it will more than likely kill her with the very attempt. I can't say if all of that will actually happen, however there is a high chance of it occurring" he calmly replied. These were simply Talon's thoughts rather than Lucifer's words that he was saying, as the said Lord had grown quieter since the bat demon's deal with him. Another reason though was that he did wish to see how Talon would approach the situation of such knowledge and how his 'dear' son would react to hearing such things. The bat winged demon had a point in thinking such things, and it wasn't something that would really be considered wrong to assume. |
Penelope watched as Damien left. She watched him as he walked to talon and Phoenix and began talking. It was mostllikly about the human Sikura. She didnt care much. Right now she was more worried about the angels and demons not co-operating. Something Damien should be more concirned with as well. Not to say she didnt hope Sikura was alright but at the moment Lord Lucifer had wanted an enforcement of the treaty, and well lets face its telling a child not to do someing without shoing them a consequence wasnt the same as helping the child understand what you wanted to prevent the consequence. With a sigh penelope stood and wlaked down to Zeak. He was still in much pain and could tell that her aura was beginnging to affect him as it had when they first met.
"Im sorry Zeak!" She stated sadly as she kept her hands to herself remembering talons reaction as she had dragged him back inside."I wish their were something i could do for you!" She added wanting badly to ease the pain he was feeling. Zeak began to shake from the pain as penelope approched. He hated the feeling he was getting, it was almost like fear but also like a thoousand knifes were pearcing his body in every direction and were being twisted. he only shook his head at her words and gave a smile. "You my lady should just stay happy and smile!" He stated and looked up at her. she had given him a blush and through that blush he seen her sadness for him. "Just do what you must tostop this war, ill fallow you where ever you may go and protect you always!" he stated before urging her to go and "recrute" some lower levele Angels to brave the demon populous. |
Phoenix was about to comment further when the prince of hell approached them. She bowed ever so lightly to show she knew what title he held. The bow held little respect but she did it to be polite since the treaty seemed to be going well.
She gave Talon a small smile and said, "Of course Sir Talon." She took a few steps back so it would not seem like she was sticking her nose in demonic business. Sadly she could not help but over hear. Wanting to help the poor human she stepped forward and said softly, "Prince Damien I have been working on different procedures and I may be able to help save your humans life." There was only one way she had so far uncovered that would completely and irrevocably undo something the Lord of Heaven or Hell did. It was untested but with all of her studies not only would it undo what one of Lords did but it would put a protection on the person in question from further involvement of the said Lord who was doing the tinkering. She did not mention that there was a catch. The catch was the reason it had never been tested. For it to work against something one of the Great Lords did it required a huge sacrifice to even the balance. The ritual required a life of an angel or demon. It did not sound like a huge sacrifice since angels and demons can be reborn and resurrected time and time again. If her studies were correct the life given would be extinguished for good. In simplest terms the person giving their life would cease to exist. |
Penelope left zeaks side to do some mingling. though she was a little exostted from the ecitment from earlyer she still knew it was best to mingle then check on Sikura and mingle some more. Carfully she approched a low level demon with a kind smile and a up beat attitude.
"good evening, how have you enjoyed things tonight!?" She asked the demon who staired at her as if she were crazy. "I know this must be awcword for you but please i wold like to here what you have to say!" She said still keeping a kind smile and an up beat attitude. The demon gave a rather devlish grin as he was acompenied by a few other low level demons. Penelope however stood her ground and stayed in a sweet mannor. "You wanna know what we think Princess!?" The one she addressed asked harshly. Penelope only nodded and stayed put as they took a step towards her. "We think this whole treaty business is a bunch of Bull Shit!" He sneared his friends agreeing rather noisly. "That is your opponion and i respect that!" She stated back as they now had circled her and began to tray and intimidate her. "But it is essential that a treaty be met lest you and your comraads to continue to fight for nonsence!" She explained. this only granted a displeased spund from all of them. One even went as far as to spit at her feet. Disgust showed in her face as he did this. "Whats the matter Princess! Dont like Demons!" One of them asked as they now cirled her like vultures. "I dont like being spat at!" She stated watching each as best she could. "I especally dont like being eyed like a pice of food!"She added still watching them carfully. (sorrt for my choice of words if no one likes it i can change it easy enough!)) |
Taking a last look at the human, who of course was worried over by the prince of hell so that should work out, I went to the ballroom since I felt threatening peaks of demon aura in the air. Seeing a small group of lower demons circling the princess, I sighed. I stood against the wall, and kept staring at them with an ice cold annoying look, and a mouth shut closed. Ill kill you when you go any further, I know for sure the higher up demons would be all if-youre-weak-then-die-like. So I stood there, staring at some demons, wondering how I would maule them, though my face showed nothing but an ice cold annoyed killer look.

Damien nodded at Talon, showing no emotion at all before turning to Pheonix. "I thank you, Angel, but my Lord would not like the interference. It is now up to him what happens to her. I have tried my best." There was a twinge of pain in his voice as he bowed again. "Now excuse me and sorry for the interruption." He then let himself leave.
He walked around, greeting angels and demons a like when he noticed the Princess being circled. He decided to wait, his eyes loooking at every one of the demons. It would not be good to attack them when they haven't really done anything wrong yet, but it wouldn't be prudent to leave the Princess totally helpless, should there be any problems. |
Talon watched quietly as his friend and Prince departed to go and mingle and greet both angels and demons. His gaze soon fell upon the scene of the three lowers circling the Princess and further still at the angel that appeared to have the look of death in her eyes. "This could end poorly. If those demons attack the Princess and that angel over there decides to punish them rather than the Prince then in both cases will the treaty be compromised. On top of that this entire place could very well turn into a blood bath if that too were to occur...Of course one thing would lead to another and before you know it the two Lords could very well end up coming here to settle out the differences..." he said quietly as he continued to watch on.
He knew that dealing with the lower demons for him wouldn't be too difficult. A little threat here, a little threat there and they would behave, but that was something he preferred to hold off on. The situation after all gave the Prince even more of an opportunity to enforce the treaty and thus fully save his human. His gaze then once more turned to Phoenix. "If you'll just excuse me for a moment I just need to relay something to my Prince, and then I shall return" he said with a smile and a small bow before he began heading towards Damien. Once he was close enough he threw and arm around his shoulders in a comradely sort of way. Of course the reasoning for such a thing was both so he could speak undisturbed to his friend and to attempt to cheer him up at least a little bit. "This is merely a thought, but this situation here is a good opportunity to put your words into action. Those demons there circling the Princess may not be attacking her at the moment, but you and I both know that the intent is there. Although attacking them right now isn't appropriate since they have not harmed the Angel, but perhaps a little bit of a threat or warning would be. Especially before that angel over there decides to take action and reverse all that has been done, and thus endangering your human even more. Just merely a suggestion though, you can take it or leave it" he said quietly with a shrug, indicating the priestess angel he had been referring to before removing his arm from his friend's shoulder. He then made a small bow to his Prince and quietly turned and returned back to the sidelines beside Phoenix. "Hopefully that will help a bit. And thank you as well for offering to help with the human's situation. I'm sure my Prince is truly grateful for your concern and care" he said once more with a rather kind and sincere smile towards the angel. |
