Draco looked back to Harry and smirked. He looked around, smirking softly. He looked to an empty carriage and nodded toward it, slowly walking that way. He clambered in, sitting himself down on one end and propping his feet up a bit, arching a brow toward Harry. He ran his fingers through his hair, smirking once more.

"Well, come on then, Harry."

Mobius 11-02-2009 04:50 AM

Harry followed, then gave him a look.
Took him a moment or two, but he got the baggage up into the basket, before crawling in after his friend.
"Gee Draco, thanks for the help."

criimson 11-02-2009 05:29 AM

Draco looked over toward him and blinked. He smiled lightly, letting out a chuckle. He shifted a bit to make more room for Harry before shrugging. His eyes flickered around the small space before he closed the door so no one else could get into the carriage and tapped on the front, making the vehicle move.

"Mm? Help?" He asked, cocking his head. "No problem."

Mobius 11-02-2009 11:00 PM

"Mhmm." He rolled his eyes, leaning back in his seat and stretching. "It is /so/ nice to be back home. I hate my family quite...a lot."

criimson 11-03-2009 12:26 AM

Draco laughed lightly and closed his eyes. His laugh almost seemed... happier. He leaned back and let out a soft, airy sigh. He stretched, eyes opening to stare toward Harry. He knew they were in private, but he also knew Harry's rules. He grunted and crossed his legs at the ankles, body relaxed. His robes fell easily onto his body, pooling about him.

"Mmm? I know the feeling." He muttered, peeking an eye open. "See... It's good to get away from the pressure of my father and mother. So it's good to be here."

Mobius 11-03-2009 02:43 AM

"Trouble in Malfoy Mannor?" He looked over at him, eyes soft. "...Are you alright? Did something awful happen?"
He turned slightly, facing him better, and hugged a knee to his chest. "Can I help somehow?"

criimson 11-03-2009 04:58 AM

Draco looked to him and arched a brow. Such concern. It was rather funny. He let out a dark little chuckle before shifting to sit up a bit more, sitting proper. His head cocked lightly to the left, looking at Harry through amused eyes. He reached out, patting Harry's cheek softly with his hand before setting both dainty on his lap, eyes fluttering toward Harry.

"Haha. Oh, Harry. You're so funny! You really think you could help?" He asked, teasingly. He suddenly got serious. "Father want's me to be marked. I'm trying to hold it off as long as possible, but the Dark Lord doesn't like that fact much... I don't know how long I"ll be able to push them aside." His frown got deeper. "It's infuriating." He muttered.

Draco's eyes drifted lightly toward the window, as if he couldn't look at Harry. He breathed out a sigh and rested back against the chair more, trying to relax.

Mobius 11-03-2009 05:03 AM

Harry frowned, a bit started. Confused eyes wandered over Draco's face as he relaxed back against the seat. He leaned forward, peering at him.
"Draco...I'll be okay. I wont let them hurt you--I dont want you to get hurt."
He hugged him awkwardly in their current position of sitting down, before leaning back to look at him. "I...if..." He bit his lip. "If...you have to be marked..." He looked down at his lap. His shoulders stiffened and he closed his eyes, absentmindedly poking his glasses up further on the bridge of his nose. "...I dont know. Lets not worry about that right now, shall we?"

criimson 11-03-2009 11:54 AM

Draco smiled softly, watching Harry struggle with the news. He reached out, hugging him back in the awkward stance and nuzzled a nose against his shoulder in the process. Sitting back once more, he arched a brow, watching him once more. Did Harry really think he could /not/ worry about this? He scoffed, turned his head, and shrugged.

"I can handle them for a little longer... School is my excuse right now. So they're holding off, but it won't last forever."

Mobius 11-03-2009 09:56 PM

"I know."
Harry pulled a knee up to his chest, putting his foot on the seat edge and looking out the window again as the castle began to come into view.
"If they force you to get marked, do it. You can't let them know you're relationship with me." He looked at him. "At least, they can know we're friends."

criimson 11-03-2009 10:10 PM

Draco watched him, curiosity entering his eyes. He let the smile fade for a second before shrugging his small shoulders. Leaning over, he set a hand delicately on Harry's knee and squeezed, eyes closing moments after. The least he could do was try and comfort the four-eyed git.

"No worries, Harry. I can pull it off for a while longer. Father seems to understand that we sometimes wear short sleeves, so he's not pressing it too hardly. Voldy doesn't wanna listen though." he muttered, shrugging.

Mobius 11-04-2009 01:23 AM

"I can't imagine that he would." Harry snorted, then looked over at him. "And you just said it yourself--no worries? Not going to happen." He watched him for a long while, before looking at Draco's hand on his knee. Hesitantly, he raised his one and set it atop Draco's soft skin. He smiled slightly.
"But school is priority...so...if we must worry, lets worry about that first. Hm?"

criimson 11-04-2009 04:22 AM

Draco looked to him and smiled softly. His eyes seemed to soften from their normally cold look. He reached up with his free hand, gently petting along Harry's cheek with the back of his hand. He moved the one under Harry's and gently grasped it, eyes flickering quickly to the window to check their time. He leaned forward once more and pressed his lips to Harry's, smiling softly before pulling back a bit.

"Don't, Harry. I'm not, so you shouldn't be." He murmured gently, trying to ease Harry's worries.

Mobius 11-04-2009 04:32 AM

Harry shrugged and looked down, squeezing Draco's hand gently. "I know. It's in my nature." He looked up briefly, then smiled softly. His glasses slid slightly down his nose and he adjusted to push them back up.
"You going to be at practice by next week? We have a game against Hufflepuff first thing in about a month, you know."

criimson 11-04-2009 04:48 AM

Draco's eyebrow shot up. They had a game? Well bloody hell. He sighed and leaned back, removing his hands from Harry's body when the carriage stopped. His mind worked slowly before he got out, dusting off his robes and running his fingers through his blond hair, pushing it back to get out of his face.

He stretched, closing his eyes for a few seconds before looking toward the castle. "Of course. The Slytherin keeper can't quit." He said, looking back with a sly smirk.

Mobius 11-07-2009 06:42 PM

"I'm shaking on my broom." Harry rolled his eyes, crawling out of the carriage and hopping down onto the dirt trail. He stretched for a moment, shaking out his robes to set them properly, before looking up at the grand castle that was their institution. He smiled to himself, running his hand through messy hair.
Home sweet home.
"I'm starving. Lets go, come on then."

criimson 11-09-2009 03:54 AM

Draco arched a brow, looking over. He let out a small snort at the first comment. Wow, he'd never heard Harry say something so stupid. He smirked at the thought and let out a small laugh, shaking his head before plucking his bag from the carriage. "Mmm? Okay." He muttered.

Turning on his heel, he started to slowly walk up toward the castle, body rigid. He was stiff, as always. He brushed past a group of under-years, sneering at the little red wearing bastards before walking briskly toward the Grand Hall. His mind worked simply as he sat slowly at the head of the Slytherin table, crossed his legs at the knees, and watched the other tables with a look of sheer dominance and more importance.

Mobius 11-10-2009 12:55 AM

Harry sighed, turning and following him towards the castle. He made it there, though with considerably less grace and in a bit more time, half dancing around confused students or those who were walking about as quickly as snails.
What a pet peeve.
He pulled his robes tighter about him as he entered the dinning hall, getting increasingly (with every year) dark looks from two tables over. Wonderful, them, Gryffindors.
Eventually he found his way to Draco, falling lifelessly into the seat beside him.

criimson 11-10-2009 02:19 AM

Draco was already chatting with another person. He glared toward said person when Harry came before sending them a sly smirk. Turning a bit, he looked to Harry and muttered something about stupid second years before closing his eyes. Draco's body went slightly relaxed as he leaned back, popping his spine and smiling.

"They get more and more frustrating every year, don't they?" He asked, looking to Harry with knowing eyes.

Mobius 11-10-2009 02:29 AM

"I suppose," Harry frowned slightly, then leaned on the table. He folded his hands beneath his chin, scanning across the great hall through his spectacles.
Eventually, Dumbledore stepped up to his elegant podium and began is usual speech, once the new sortings were over, and gesticulated grandly with every word. Harry smiled softly and occasionally caught the old professor's eye, seeing a glimmer of amusement. He was incredibly entrancing, when he wanted to be. Harry assumed that was a part of his charm, or his awe, that many of the first years obviously had stricken across their faces as they watched him, a similar expression Harry had held his first year.
Back at school...normalcy, how you were missed.

criimson 11-10-2009 04:05 AM

Draco yawned hugely in the middle of the old man's speech, causing a few other boys to snicker around him. He smirked a bit, loving the attention as he made a few hand gestures mimicing the headmaster. He looked to Harry, watching him for a few seconds before he reached over and lightly tapped the boy on the head, trying to get his attention. It was Harry's most of all that he craved.

"What are you dazing at, Potter?" He whispered softly, arching a brow. "Got a fancy for the headmaster, eh?"

Mobius 11-10-2009 04:47 AM

Dumbledore glanced over again with an amused look, but didn't break his speech. Harry rolled his eyes, looking over the rims of his glasses at Draco like he was retarded.
"Oh yes, of course I do. No, I, for one, think Dumbledore is quite an interesting man." He sniffled poshly, rubbing his nose. "He's really rather neat."

criimson 11-10-2009 11:55 AM

Draco's face twitched in confusion. Dumbledor? Interesting? He looked over toward the old man and glared. For some reason, he greatly despised the Headmaster. He sniffed, turned his head away, and stared off toward a distant table in thought. Was he jealous that the Headmaster could hold Harry's attention so? No, that couldn't be it. He didn't care, remember? He was Draco. He didn't care about anyone...

Well if that wasn't a huge lie. He cared greatly for his family, and for himself. He cared too much for Harry, which probably wasn't healthy, and he cared a lot for those minor friends he held, seeing as they were, after all, his friends. A small grunt fell from his lips as he propped his elbow on the table and rested his head in his palm, eyes distant in thought.

Mobius 11-20-2009 01:26 AM

The speech went on like it does, and eventually ended. The tables shimmered before seeming to flip without movement, a huge, elegant feast being splayed out before them.
This ritual always, no matter what, made Harry beam. He wasn't sure why this particular bit of magic (especially over the previous magic, such as the enchanted ceiling or the book that wrote in itself) always made him giddy like a child, but it did. It was real, and so very basic. He supposed that was why--it was a simple way to prove it was really there, that he wasn't asleep--that it was really wasn't just a dream.
He leaned, taking a roll off a plate and setting it on his own, before reaching for some potatoes. He frowned, then looked at Draco.
"...Come on then, eat a bit, hm?"

criimson 11-22-2009 10:13 PM

Draco jumped slightly when he was told to do something, having been completely lost in thought. He glanced over, staring for a few minor seconds before pushing his plate away and looking off stubbornly. He was somewhat irritated now.

"I'm not hungry." He stated firmly, eyes distant.

How he hated Dumbledore. He grit his teeth and glared down at the food. It was all done by house elves, not that old coot, so why did everyone marvel over him? He didn't even do any magic around the school! All he did was loaf around in his office until someone needed him. Draco grunted, obviously in a foul mood.
