(You good... it reminds me of the smiley so it was funny and I needed me a nice laugh today so thanks)
Vik smiled lightheartedly as he accepted her kiss of what he assumed was gratitude and happiness although he it could have very well been something else knowing her. He was soon taken aback as she trounced him with a flurry of kisses, none of which were unwanted, but it did catch him off guard just for a moment and brought another smile of genuine quality from his lips. That was short lived however as he noticed her clasping her side, she had probably reopened the wound, "I appreciate the affection but not at the expense of your health," he announced sternly. Then he added, "Take it easy, I already told you I'm not going anywhere so slow down, your body can only handle so much." Then it was his turn to show her some affection as he kissed her lightly on the lips, cheek and neck occasionally biting her on the neck but not like he would one of his victims. It was almost a nibble but it was more firm, he had to keep himself under control though the smell of her blood was sweet and calling for him to give it a taste but he kept his urges in check although he didn't know how long he keep it up.

Listening silently Holly wondered about how this was going to work. Why did he even care if she could fight. Uncurling her fingures seemed strange to her but she watched his movements and stumbled backward not having expected anything to happen. 'Try' he told her and she listened untill he brought up Alex. She didn't hate Fayn, she wasn't sure what she thought of him, but that one comment made her want to smack him across the face. Mimicing his moves Holly 'punched' him with all of her srength. "Do not ever bring up Alex while you're teaching me or I swear I will kill you."

"Health," Selk gasped, trying to bring herself back into a normal focus. "Right." She bore her throat to him, and then forced herself to pull away, cringing. "Ouch." Besides, she thought. I don't want to get blood all over him.
Reaching for a clean rag, she pressed it to the wound on her side, keeping her breathing steady . . . or, trying to, anyway. Far too much. She'd have to take it easy for a while. A long while. Not that she would . . . but it was the thought of the time.
Returning one of his kisses, the dark elf smiled, and then reached for the needle and thread once again. "You're going to have to play nurse for a while," she said quietly, swallowing against the pain. "I'm getting hungry . . . and the handmaidens won't let me leave the room today."
-
Letting out a small exclamation, the dark elf fell into a backward roll to absorb the impact. Vampires had heightened strength . . . and Fayn knew that. He came up from his crouch, “looking” at Holly silently. “I would love to see you try.” Another prod. Anger was best when getting past certain mental uncertainties. And with this woman . . . Fayn felt that this was best.
He moved toward her again, ignoring the slight throb in his shoulder. He felt for her hand, grasping it, and then ran his own fingers to her shoulder. His black hand trailed down her side, and to her hip. “Don’t punch with your arm,” he said quietly, forcing her to draw her arm back and go through the actions of hitting someone. “Use your body. All of it.” Using his own leg, he slid his foot behind her ankle, pushing it forward. “Step forward when you strike. Use your momentum.”
Fayn was silent for a moment as he guided her through the action a few times, and then smiled grimly. She could kill someone with a well-placed punch.

Vik let out a silent sigh as the woman just now seemed to realize her body wasn't in perfect condition at the moment then at the notion of playing nurse he wanted to scoff. But instead he made a mental note that he didn't too much care to do such a thing and smiled for Selk and said, "What would you have me do milady, since I am to be your personal nurse?" It wasn't often that the half breed had to bandage himself up since all of his wounds healed naturally at an accelerated rate so in all honesty he knew very little about first aid and whatnot but he would do for her whatever she asked to the best of his abilities. And although he had no wish to play nurse as she dubbed the situation he still had a slight grin on his lips to his surprise.

"Mm," Selk narrowed her eyes, leaning back against the dark red pillows behind her. "First," she said slowly, drawing the word to the point of it being a purr. "I'm starved." With a slight smile, she chuckled. "I don't suppose you know where the kitchens are, dear? They are back near the entrance of the household."
Tapping the black wrapping of fabric that covered her chest and middle, the dark elf sighed, flinching at the pain again. "If you go, could you bring me something to ease the pain?" Selk smiled mirthlessly. "Someone in the kitchens should know of something."

A small giggle came from Holly when he fell backward. "Someday you'll be sorry Fayn. Someday when I'm ready you'll see." A smirk appeared on her face. This was a game for him to play, he wanted her to try. Normally she would do the opposite of what people wanted her to do. especially ones who made her mad. When he touched her she was slightly suprised. That was the first time she relized he was blind. Well she had noticed before but it hadn't registered in her head. Following along with the movements Holly smiled wondering if he could tell she was almost happy. "Do I get to try on my own now?" She didn't pull away from him even after he was done showing her what to do. The strange part was she didn't even notice how close to her he was.

'If I go huh?' He though to himself, 'Like I actually have a choice'. After a another mental sigh the half breed got up and took a bow, "As you wish milady," he replied in a semi-sarcastic tone of voice. He had a mischievous grin on his face although he was planning nothing, for some reason he couldn't help it. Turning around and walking out of the room he walked down the halls back towards the entrance until he ran into the area he assumed was the kitchen. Walking in he noticed some of the servants busy at work and he approached the one nearest to him, "I'll need a meal prepared for the new matron, and would you happen to have anything around here that can be used as a painkiller?"

"You do," Fayn replied, his voice low. Slowly backing off, the dark elf tugged his blindfold back into place, tying it tightly about his eyes. "Use your momentum. It gives you more strength." Not that you need it. . . .
Listening for moment, the dark elf stood perfectly still. Running through his head were Holly's words. Someday, you'll be sorry. The weapon master turned so that he was a smaller target instead of facing the vampire head on. As long as she was complying at that moment, things were going good. After all . . . a drow that was afraid of death was useless. If she could kill him later on, then so be it.
-
Selk laughed as Vik left the room, and then settled back into her dark pillows, letting out a pained breath. Squeezing her eyes shut, the matron pressed her rag to her side even harder, knowing that the pressure would halt the bleeding within the next few minutes. If only the pain wasn't so noticeable.
-
A male glanced up from his work, setting a serrated kitchen knife down on the stone counter. "Here," he muttered, eyes averted from Vik's features. Since the half-breed was one of Selk's favored, he was given status. Status . . . which meant that the servants were under his reign as well as the matron's.
Within the next few minutes, the subservient dark elf returned with a covered platter. Passing it to Vik, he bowed slightly. "There is a sedative in the bottle, and a few herbs for her pain." Without another word, he went back to his previous job of cutting some strange sort of food.

Nodding his head slightly to acknowledge the servant he took the platter and medicine and walked out of the kitchen and back down the hall stopping shortly when he passed his room, thinking about something briefly before he continued. When reaching the door of the matron's room he knocked before he entered although he didn't wait for permission or anything. Taking the platter and medicine over to the woman he sat it down in her lap, "The servant said the medicine was in the bottle but if you're hungry, you should eat first." Vik was a little surprised at how caring his voice sounded to him as he spoke to the woman but he as usual he kept everything bottled up inside, she didn't need to know that anyway.

Looking up to Vik with a strange expression on her face, she accepted the food. A slight smile crossed her black face, and the dark elf slowly started to nibble at some sort of vegetable-looking thing. Her purple eyes traced over the half-breed's features for many moments, and she said nothing as she merely ate. The painkillers were swiftly eaten, as well as a bit of the medicine in the bottle, followed by nearly all of the food.
Carefully setting the tray on the table near the bed, Selk didn't let her glowing eyes leave his face. Running a hand through her white hair, the matron reached forward and snagged Vik's hand, smiling slightly. "Your words say more than you're letting them," she said with a chuckle, her grin growing. "Are you at ease here, Vik? Will you speak honestly with me?"

The half breed watched for a while as she consumed her food and medicines before his gaze looked over the room and then went distant. He had retreated into the depths of his mind as some things went through his head but he didn't stay there long. He was brought out of his light trance when he felt the grasp of another on on his hand as he turned around to see a smile on the new matron's face. Then as she spoke he couldn't help but allow a grin to reveal his pearly fangs before he paused for a moment to collect his thoughts. "Honestly I'm not sure how I feel about this place, but I know I do feel at ease when I'm with you. I can say with real confidence that I want to be with you more than I've craved anything else before up until this point in my life." His words flowed like a melody coming from the most alluring of instruments connecting with the ears and creating a surreal atmosphere. It was his honest feelings for once, with nothing hindering him at all.

"Is that . . . so?" Selk breathed, tilting her head slightly. Flipping his hand over so she could trace patterns on his palm, the dark elf kept her expression neutral for a moment. Honestly, she practically melted at the tone of his voice, his words. Vik himself was . . . different. Unique. And comforting.
Pulling herself off of the pillows, the matron shifted until she sat directly in front of the half-breed, watching him intently for a moment. The longer she looked, the better he seemed to appear. . . .
"How do I know that you aren't lying?" Selk asked in a sly tone, looking up at Vik through her eyelashes mischievously. Blinking slowly in the daze she seemed to feel, the matron leaned forward until she was a mere inch from the half-vampire's face. "Speaking the untruth isn't uncommon amongst my people. Why should I think it's any different with you?"
Her black finger moved up to trace Vik's lips, and the drow smiled when he flashed his fangs. If there was anything that gave someone a rush, that would be it. Danger, right there.

Vik's eyes lowered ever so slightly to match the atmosphere of the moment and watched the mysterious woman shift her self around as she questioned whether or not he was being honest. His eyes met with hers and for a moment he lost his train of though while he peered into the violet orbs that were so hypnotic to him. The half breed snapped out of it when her finger went to his lips and as she leaned in. He could feel her breath, taste it... she smelled so sweet to his senses. It made him remember the smell of her blood and made his mouth water slightly and brought another flash of brilliance to his face. She as a whole was simply an irresistible figure to him, and although he would deny it openly she could probably get him to do anything she wanted were the circumstances right. But in response to her question he stated first, "Well for starters you can make a mental note that I am not one of you," he said in a teasing but alluring tone. He continued, "But you do have options. You could always take my word for it, but since you did just compare me to your kind I don't see that going over to well." Then the half breed began to lean in closer as he finished, "Or I could show you..." he trailed off as he pressed his lips to her. Proving his passions through action had always been easier for him.

Selk never replied. Instead, she let her hands snake up to link behind his neck, one hand running through his hair as she kissed him back. The dark elf felt elated - a strange feeling. This wasn't a drow relationship . . . those were based off of sight, not heart. This was a bit of both. Quite a bit of both.
He's staying.

"Okeydokey." Holly grinned and stepped forward as was insructed and imitated the moves he had just showed her to hit him and hopefully make him off balence or fall over again. Her mind was off of Alex, now that she was focused on other things. In the back of her mind he was there. That was the reason she was learning. Alex would want her to stay safe. And Fayn was nice enough to teach her. "

Fayn deflected her blows, knowing that her strikes were far too strong to stand against every time. When one of her punches slipped past, he would turn the disadvantage into some sort of counter. It was the third time she'd come close to hitting him when the black-skinned elf snagged her wrist, stepping back while crouching. It pulled her off balance, nearly falling forward, and his free hand flew up to her throat. Instead of continuing the move, Fayn released her, nodding once.
"Good," he stated, and then moved toward the middle of the room once more (they'd moved quite a bit through their little sparring match). "You can strike with your hands. Now I will show you where to aim." The weapon master waited for Holly to approach before he moved in a blur, hitting a pressure point in her shoulder that would have dropped the normal individual to the floor in pain. Being a vampire, Holly wouldn't feel it . . . as much.
After a few such attacks, the drow hit quite a few areas to ensure that she would feel them. Nerves and sensitive areas were his target, and he rarely missed. After pressing in on Holly for a few minutes, he let her pause, and then snatched her hand. "Feel where the muscles overlap," Fayn said, pushing her fingers into one of his own pressure points to show her. He grit his teeth, but then moved her hand to the next spot. "Use your fingers to hit the weakest points. Harm your victim more with each strike."
Then he took a step back, and darted around to her side to strike a pressure point on her back with one of the "punches" that he'd been showing her.
Far more effective this way.

(I am getting scenes of watching Neji in my head thanks to Fayn and Holly's training. Quite entertaining :D)
Vik placed the hand that was on her injured side on the back of her neck while his free hand naturally clamped onto her side as they kissed. He would have pulled her in closer but instead he had to push himself forward really not wanting to cause her any discomfort. The half breed kissed her passionately all over her facial area and her neck, but every time he made his way to her neck he got the urge to bite her and held back for just a moment to let it pass. It was odd that he was craving her blood so... instinctively. He had never been that way before so he really didn't understand why he was like that now but he didn't stop to think about it either. When they took a brief pause to catch their breaths, Vik stared deep into her violet eyes, which he was now sure had some sort of hypnotic spell to them and he realized that he could do was think about her. But then a wonder came to mind, "I have a question for you, if you will indulge my curiosity," he started. After leaning in to give her another brief kiss he asked, "What would you have done if I decided to leave?" He was simply curious and honestly wouldn't be mad if she decided not to answer his question but it was off his chest and that's really all that mattered to him.

"I would have let you go," Selk purred, running her hand over his hair before letting her fingers trail along his jaw. She seemed saddened by the thought, and frowned a bit. "Or I would have drug you back in here by the ear." The dark elf smiled, watching the half-breed's gaze steadily. Kissing his cheek, she laughed. "The more I think about it, the more I would have done the second. And if you refused to stay, I would have chained you to the wall until you were grateful for being alive."
Wrinkling her nose, the matron sighed, reaching up to grab either side of Vik's face. "But since you're staying," she hissed quietly, yanking him down so she could kiss his lips, "I think I'll keep the chains off for now, dear."

The half breed smiled as he was snatched down towards the woman he had given up his old life for. He responded back to her words in between kisses, "Drug me... back here... huh?..." he squeezed out. The thought brought a chuckle out of the man's throat, it was en entertaining idea to him, "I.. would have... loved to... see that one..." was all he managed to get out before he outright gave up on talking to kiss the woman. His hand caressed her black face and ran through her soft hair periodically as he felt a certain rush of pleasure surge through his body. He liked being with this woman so much it was unreal and he thought to himself, 'I can't leave her'.

((^_^ That is SO what I thought. Yay!! Just to share . . . clicky! And this one just made me laugh . . . a lot.
Fayn: -_-'))
Selk let out a guttural purr, her hands pulling Vik even closer. She nipped at his ear before kissing his jaw, and then his lips again. The dark elf pressed herself as close as she could, her legs wrapping about his form when he was close enough. He was warm, but cooler than any other. Vik was, after all, a half-vampire. And she enjoyed that fact - his touch was cool instead of suffocatingly warm.
Nipping at him again, Selk laughed, her hands moving to his face once again. Looking into his duel-colored eyes, the dark elf couldn't help but feel her breathing catch.
((Just to let you know, I don't go much farther than this. The Mene peeps would probably get mad at us anyway. And it's just not my thing.))

A small squeal came from Holly as she almost fell forward. It could have been worse, she could have completely fallen over face first into the ground, of he could have forgotten he wasn't trying to kill her. She stepped back to the middle of the room and flinched in pain. "Ouch!" Holly yelpt as sharp pains went through her in the spots Fayn hit. As he showed her were to strike she payed attention relizing all the spots he hit were pressure points. After he moved behind her, Holly turned abruptly and grabbed his wrist. "No way! You hit really hard and it hurts!" She exclaimed using her other hand and stepping forward to hit the pressure point in his sholder.

With a hiss, Fayn grit his teeth, trying not to give in to the pain that seared through his entire arm. She was strong, and didn't even need to try to be. Good. Instead of pushing her back, the dark elf stepped backward, pulling Holly with him. Spinning to the side, still holding onto the vampire's arm, he had her on the ground.
"Pain helps you learn," the blind male said gruffly, pinning Holly's arm with his knee. With a (compared to his earlier strikes) softer blow, Fayn used his palm to turn the woman's head. "It is how drow teach, how they learn, and how they live. You are among us for now. I will train you as one of my own."
((LOL< oops? :XD SOrry, they were awesome. Too awesome not to share. Now I somewhat picture Fayn like Neji . . . but not quite as . . . soft. *sheepish smile*))

Holly fell to the floor and glared up at him wishing he could see. "Yeah, I find pain so helpful. She mumbled sarcastically, after he spoke she added another sarcastic comment. "Yeah, I'm so honored to be treated as a drow. No wonder you guys all are so heartless. Learning through pain, so positive." Although Alex's death was pain, and through which she was learning to live. Maybe it was true. "Fine, I'll learn through pain but I'll make sure you feel the same amount of pain as me."
