((Fayne: *blushes heavily* <--- is totally embarrassed, but not pulling away
Selk: *grumbles something about Vik being a jerk* LOL, even if she asked for it ))
Selk gasped for breath, merely laying still as she curled up in a tight ball. She just wasn't strong enough to hurt him. And it infuriated her. More than a little. Glaring up at the half breed, Selk huffed out what little breath she could.
"I'll kill you someday," she breathed, closing her glowing eyes as she fought back the nausea that Vik had helped her feel - the blow certainly had her weakened. Her words sounded vicious, but that didn't make them true. She was just pissed off beyond all belief. How could something so . . . mortal fight against Vik himself?
"You're going to have to tell me your secret," the woman said quietly, trying to squelch the rising feeling of her stomach trying to flip. That was impressive. Slowly calming herself, Selk merely lay still.

(Totally her fault lol... *Vik nods in agreement with Mars*)
Vik walked over to the woman and squatted down in front of her with a slight smirk on his face, "If you plan to kill me I do hope it's not in combat..." Just because she was the matron now didn't cause the man to change the way he would act around her, especially now since he was able to be himself and not have to act as some lowly slave. Then at the request for him to tell her his secret the half breed simply cocked his head to the side and laughed lightly, "There is no secret... I simply practice. Hell, ninety percent of it is natural talent; strength, reflexes, speed, stamina, and endurance all come naturally to me because of what I am. So the secret is to practice." Then gazing at the woman in her pain he wondered if he had hit her too hard, "Should I carry you back to your room, matron," he asked with a clearly sarcastic tone.

"No," Selk hissed, turning her gaze from his eyes to his hands. "I'll be fine." Slowly she sat up, gritting her teeth stubbornly as she stood and brushed herself off. Enough sparring for one day. "But I'm ready for food." For a moment, she was too mad to think of Vik. Instead, she turned from him, heading toward the door with a slight limp. The matron still felt sick, but that didn't mean that she would let anyone else know that.

Smiling at her stubbornness the half breed walked behind her seeing her limp and just picked her up off of her feet, "So where to milady?"
He so did enjoy playing with her, it was all so much fun. Looking down at her in his arms he gave her a seductive smile then changed his expression to one of sorrow, "Selk... are you mad at me?" He sounded as if he really was hurt at the prospect of her being upset at him. Since he had yet to receive any orders about where to go he stood there figuring he would play with her for a short while longer.

((*laugh*
Selk: Grawr! *chomps his finger*))
Selk let out a quiet noise when she was scooped off of her feet, but then fell silent once again. She was seething - it was obvious. When the half breed asked where to go, the drow forced her head to turn away from him. The black-skinned woman muttered something under her breath, but didn't speak loud enough for Vik to hear her.
The dark elf also ignored his smile - though she nearly lunged up to kiss him when she saw it. Instead, she turned her face into his chest, trying to keep herself feeling mad.
"Selk . . . are you mad at me?"
"The nerve!" she hissed, reaching up to flick his forehead. "Mad? Mad?" She squirmed, her anger returning as she thought of why she was mad in the first place. "Infuriated!" With an exasperated sigh, she sat still, too sore to be moving much. Besides, the nausea was getting the best of her. "Kitchen," she spat, leaning into his chest.

((LOL< no kidding. Kissing a drow isn't usually something that a normal person initiates. . . .
Hey Drakina! Well, the battle ended well, and the area was told to leave all of you alone. I'm going to say that Selk summoned you a while back, gave you a key to a good room (something you'll probably have to come up with), and then said that everyone's payment (weapons, armor, and training if you want it) will all be available within a day or so's time. Any other questions? Oh, and Selk is now matron . . . and she's going to the kitchen with Vik. Fayne and Holly are now training together, and Alex died.))

((I knew about the fight ending, and Alex dying, and Selk being the matron. It's just been a few pages since I've been on, so I asked instead of trying to read it all and getting distracted.))
Neam slipped around a corner, merely watching the drow go about their business. It was interesting, noticing the similarities to surface ways, and the stark contradictions right next to that.

Finally being given a destination the half breed nodded and responded like a soldier, "Yes matron!" then began marching in a soldier like fashion before giving up after a few steps. It was simply annoying to him and he had already had his share of fun for the time being with the woman in his arms. She was still fuming at the moment as well so his job had been accomplished. He smiled and said nothing else as he walked down the corridors to the kitchen.

When they got to the kitchen, Selk swiftly jerked herself out of Vik's arms, casting an embarrassed glare at the half breed before moving toward one of the many cave-like crevices where food was kept. She messed around within the small enclosed area for a few moments before emerging with a few strange fruits, placing them on the smooth counter nearby, and then heading for a different cave that had frigid mists spilling out across the floor. She disappeared into the blue swirling air and returned with a plate of some sort of spiced meat. It was already sliced thin enough to eat, luckily.
Glancing to Vik, Selk moodily plopped herself in a stool at a bar-like counter, starting to much on the meat while glaring at the fruit.
-
Fayne hadn't slept long. In fact, he rather would have stayed asleep - but the constantly growing heat signal, which acted as a light to an Underdark dweller, finally woke him. He couldn't ignore it any longer. A student was calling for his aid - most likely another sparring session.
Pulling himself out of bed, the blind male moved to the dresser he had in one area of the room and opened a specific drawer, snagging a shirt and slipping it over his head. No rest for the weary. Heading to the training room, the dark elf listened for Holly's door, knowing that she was still within.

After what seemed like forever Holly stood up and streached, then changed into shorts and a t-shirt. Before she went to see if Fayne was in the training room, she found her way to the kitchen. Selk didn't look happy. "Umm...Sorry to bother you and all, but I haven't really eaten anything for about a whole day...or more. And that's kinda sorta an issue. I would rather not eat Fayne." There was a slight gigglish tone in her voice. "And I wanted to tell you, I really like it here. Thanks for letting me stay."

"Eat him for all I care," Selk growled, ripping a piece of meat apart with her teeth and chewing moodily. She then let her purple eyes meet Holly's gaze. "He deserves it." Swallowing, the drow sighed, running a hand through her long hair. "You're welcome, I guess. Not many choose to live in the Underdark, let alone enjoy it."
The matron patted the stool beside her, ignoring Vik entirely. "You could always eat one of our prisoners in the dungeon, if there are any that are still alive." As she spoke with the vampire, the dark elf slowly calmed down - for the most part.

She froze and didn't move any closer to Selk. "No he doesn't." Holly mumbled looking at the woman. "I don't want to kill anyone. I've never killed anyone. I can't." Her voice was just above a squeak. "I really do hope you're kidding." Why would Selk say that to her? Didn't she know that would freak Holly out? "If you're not kidding then I'll go ask Fayne what he thinks I should do."

Vik laughed at the two women and their conversation as he crept towards Selk with a predator like look on his face, "Now now dear you know you don't want to get rid of me so soon?" His voice was full of sarcasm and it carried over, " Are you still mad at me over the sparring match? It was your idea after all, I guess you just assumed I wasn't a fighter huh?" Looking up at the 'ceiling' with a pure look of innocence on his face he thought aloud, "Man, my performance must have been dismal you would simply challenge me on a whim and think you could take me... I doubt Fayn could beat me at hand to hand combat." Then continuing over to Selk whom he draped himself over as she ate giving her a slow lick on the neck before whispering in her ear, "I can always leave... matron." The half breed now had a devious smile on his face as he looked up to Holly and said, "Oh and she was joking, so no need to freak out alright?" Surprisingly he gave the girl a big smile that showed off his pearl colored fangs of steel and then wrapped his arms around Selk's waist interlocking his fingers as they met around her navel area.

"Oh...Okay." Holly said with a sigh of relief. "But I'll go talk to him anyway. You two look like you need to be alone." She grinned back at Vik showing her fangs as well. "Oh, and Vik, I know you like Selk and everything...Please don't eat her though." With a slight laugh she skipped to the training room. "Hiya Fayne!"

Selk listened to Vik, a dark expression flitting over her face the instant his voice entered their conversation. Her glare continued to grow more and more fierce until he leaned against her. She stiffened as he licked her, and the dark elf took a quick breath as she readied herself to speak. And then he wrapped his arms around her. The matron nearly choked on her fruit, and began a bout of coughing as Holly excused herself from the room.
As soon as the vampire was gone, the white-haired woman hit Vik with her elbow - far more gently than intended. "I'm going to kill you one of these days." Though her words were soft, they could have meant a number of things. They could have been a threat, a promise, or even just sarcasm. Perhaps they were fond words, such as a pet name. Maybe they were a lie.
-
Fayne lifted his student's arm, striking a pressure point just below his shoulder. The male cried out in pain, spinning away as best he could. The blind instructor followed him closely, nearly gliding along with his spin - and then tripped him, grasping his arm and forcing his student to the ground harshly. The sound of his breath being lost was the only noise throughout their spar - Fayne was silent. His victim was most definitely not.
"Glancing" up to Holly when she stepped into the room, the weapon master bowed slightly. His student, enraged, took the moment to try and tackle him from behind - and failed. Fayne grasped his arm, spinning behind him and pinning him to the floor in a smooth movement that left the youth gasping for breath, a large bruise undoubtedly forming along his arm and shoulder.
"What a pleasant surprise," Fayne said quietly, tilting his head a bit. The blindfold hid the rising of an eyebrow, but his stance showed that he wasn't quite . . . pleased, necessarily. "Are you here to spar, vampire?"
At his words, the student squirmed away, muttering something in the drow tongue before slipping out of the room to escape any further beating.

"I wont... I don't think," the half breed said to Holly right before she left. Releasing his grip from around her waist with an actors sorrow filled smile on his face, "I elect to stay with you and these are the words of encouragement I get. How hurtful you are to me dear" His tone was a mix of sarcasm and carelessness, probably because he felt no real threat from her words deciding to lick her once more on the opposite side of the neck. This time as he whispered in her ear opposite ear he asked, "Do you really wish harm upon me, my powerful matron?" His tone was one of seduction although there was a slight hint of something else present as well, but whatever it was, it was more difficult to decipher.

"Well, kinda." Holly said watching the other man leave. "Selk and Vik are in the kitchen and Selk is in a really bad mood. So I didn't really want to get yelled at by her. So I was wondering if you knew where I could get blood. Cause I can't really go all to long without it. And I don't want to kill someone by accident. But I can't wait that much longer." A small smile appeared on her face. The fact he couldn't see was almost a good thing to her. Hopefully he couldn't tell she was stairing at him. "She suggested that I should eat you, but I didn't think that was a good idea. I really don't think she likes you..."

The half breed's lick made her shudder again before regaining her composure. "Harm?" Selk hissed quietly, raising an eyebrow and looking over her shoulder at Vik. "Death and harm are very different things, male." The matron then reached back and grabbed his hand, linking her fingers between his. "If I meant you harm, then I would have someone else do it for me. I want to kill you, remember. That's far more personal."
-
"We have never been on the best of terms, the matron and I," Fayne said with a slight sigh, and then stepped forward. Brushing a hand against Holly's arm, he motioned for her to follow him. "If you killed me, she would be most pleased." The weapon master wasn't lying, and neither was he joking. Selk would enjoy his death - she would prefer to see it done in person. But he was too valuable to just kill off so quickly.
The male led Holly toward a room a few doors down from the training room - an area with many different bottles and containers. Most likely a storage unit, judging by the boxes in the corners. Feeling along a few of the shelves, Fayne nodded, pulling down a bowl-like dish. Blowing it out gently, the dark elf used a bit of his sleeve to wipe it clean before setting it on one of the nearby boxes.
"If you need blood," he said slowly, a dagger appearing in his hand from seemingly nowhere, "then you will have it. No one will give it to you willingly. Not down here." The statement wasn't necessarily true - he seemed willing enough. Holding his hand over the bowl, Fayne grasped the blade and swiftly yanked it away. Blood instantly began to drip into the dish, his face remaining emotionless. "How much do you require?"

"Maybe she just doesn't like that you're a stronger fighter then her. And you're blind." After following him she watched from the doorway, not relizing what he was doing at first. "Fayne!" She exclaimed watching him as the blood dripped from his hand. "That's enough." She choked out walking over and pulling his hand away. "Why did you do that? You shouldn't have. I could have figured something else out."
Slowly Holly lifted the dish to her lips and about a minute later lowered it back down placing it on the table. "Thank you." She whispered quietly. "Is your hand okay?" Silently she hoped it didn't hurt him. Afterall he had probally been in fights where the outcome was ten times worse. Although Holly didn't want him to lie if he wasn't okay
