"I won't. I promise. If I do I give you full permission to smack some sense into me." Holly smiled and walked at the same pace he did. So that worked well. She didn't die and he did love her. "Thank you, Fayne." Holly whispered as they walked back to the city. "Can we not say anything about this to anyone?"

Sophie sat down beside him, hugging her knees "Then how come your letting me live?" she asked, she had been wondering that for quite a while now. She wiped the last of the tears off her face with the back of her hand.Sophie looked at the room to see that it was actually quite tidy, for a guy, and that Marr liked to collect blankets that where purple, blue and black, and that had animals on them, she smiled when she saw one that looked like it had dolphins on it.

Marr sighed, leaning back into his own blankets once again. "Because I want to. Is there a problem with wanting to keep you alive, woman?" His thick accent rolled off of his tongue smoothly, sounding almost guttural. "If you want me to change my mind, just say so."

Giving Holly's hand a squeeze, the dark elf nodded. "No one else will ever know," he said quietly, leading the vampire back toward the city. It was less than twenty minutes later when the glowing fires came into view, and the strange silence met their ears. Fayne smiled grimly as the sound of a lone scream echoed from one of the other houses, the noise being followed be a few mourning notes from a music box somewhere in the stone houses.
Leading her through the streets and darkness, the drow came to a slow stop when they were back in the Toshiba household, standing before their rooms once again. "Will you keep yourself safe for the time I rest?"

“It feels like I need to do something worthy of doing,” she muttered, yawning again. Her slender finger continued to trace the half breed’s jaw, and she moved her hand up to press against his cheek. “Something like killing off those who aren’t loyal to me, or making sure that everyone gets their rewards before the sun sets.” Armor and weapons, training if necessary . . . it wasn’t too hard.

Vik smiled and shook his head, "Then I suggest you contact those that have remained," thinking mainly of Neam... and Holly. Why didn't she die during the battle? He was happy that Alex had been killed but she would have been a nice kill as well and he probably would have paid Fayne to do it, but what's done is done. Then an idea came to mind, "I can always help kill those that aren't loyal to you..."

(Holly: DUDE! MURDERER MUCH!?)

"I won't get into trouble. I promise." Holly said kissing his cheek. "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite." She giggled slightly and walked to her door. "I'll be here...or maybe talking to Selk. I have to ask her something." As long as Vik wasn't there. Holly didn't like the half vampire. He was...well mean. "I'll see you in a bit." Deciding to go see Selk, she headed in the direction of the matron's room.

(Vik: I'm a VAMPIRE... we do kill ya know. Oh wait... I'm only half but I have better credentials than you do so I suppose you're jealous *chuckles snobbishly*

Me: ROFL)

(Holly: How do you know I haven't killed before. 400+ years is a long time to go without killing people! *glares, gilty look in eyes*

Me: HA! Now Vik can't be snobbish!)

Selk grinned. "I was hoping you'd suggest helping." Slowly sitting up, the dark elf yawned, glancing about the room for a moment before standing. "I need to change. And you need to help me with this bandage." Motioning for Vik to turn away, she swiftly changed into her new clothing before slipping a cloak about her shoulders. "It's looking for the disloyal ones that always turns into something big. The killing is the fun part."
She pointed to the bandages left over from the previous evening before shifting the cloak to one side so the half breed could see the worst part of the gash that ran along her stomach. It was looking better, though it would take another week to heal completely - with the help of magics, it would be gone sooner.

Fayne smiled as Holly kissed his cheek, and he nodded to her. "Be careful around Selk, Holly." With that, the dark elf bowed slightly, entering his own room to rest for a few hours before returning to the training room to help a few more students of his. It would be a long day . . . especially since he hadn't gotten much rest the night before.

(Vik: *stares at her unconvinced before bursting out in laughter then turning and walking away*

Me: What can I say, he's a man of many... talents heh heh)

The half breed smiled and nodded at her statements as he turned around so that she could change. When she finished he grabbed the left over bandages and walked over to her as he took a knee while he removed the blood stained one's from yesterday and quickly replacing them with the newer ones. When he had finished he stood back up, Vik looked her in the eye and asked, "What do you have in mind," knowing she had a plan and was probably suspicious of someone in particular at that.

"Selk? Are you in there?" Holly knocked on the door. "Oh! I hope you're awake. Sorry I'm being loud." She waited at the door for the Drow to aprove of her coming into the room. She had no idea what time it was for her race. If Vik was in there...how would she ask the question? Fayne couldn't know that she even asked. But ever since he wouldn't tell she needed to know."

(Holly: FINE DON'T BELIEVE ME! You better watch your back!

Me: Vik+Talent? HAAAHHAAAAHAHA!)

Selk chuckled, and opened her mouth to reply when Holly's voice broke her thoughts. "It seems that she is feeling more at home, if she thinks she can go about knocking on everyone's door." Smiling, the dark elf headed toward the door, opening it fully. "Holly," she said with a sadistic smile. "Is there something you need, dear?"
