The horse that was with hollow sat down next to her. He wasnt tired so he decided to wait for something to happen. Hopefully Hollow would wake up soon. He had been traveling with her for a three months and knew that she needed little rest before she was up and at 'em again.

The horse looked at his surroundings and then at the sleeping Hollow. The four other horses were gone, but he had a feeling that he would see them again, just not in the way that anyone would expect. He would stay with the girl for now.

Hollow started shaking again. This time she woke up with a start. She thought she has heard Thalian call out her name. The horse looked at her and she looked at it. The horse got up and then tugged on her jacket. "I dont wanna." She complained thinking about what had happened the last time and she didnt get enough sleep still, but she was feeling alot better.

The horse again tugged on her jacket and started to drag her. "Wait wait Ill walk." The horse snorted. "Fine Ill ride."It was if Hollow could tell what the horse was thinking. She got back on the animal and it trotted right up to a huge mansion.

"Okay what now." She asked the horse

As soon as he saw Aideen faint, he panicked. Thalian scrunged up his face and screamed inside his mind after Hollow.

"HOLLOW!" he yelled, frustrated. Since Hollow was so close, it practically made her mind do a backflip in her skull, he was so loud.

Hollow nearly fell off the horse, but she was able to catch herself on the mane of the horse, which he didnt like to much. She ended up falling anyway because the horse reacted. She started mumbling curses to herself as she walked up to the building. She kicked the door open out of frustration. "What!" She yelled.

She was a little taken back by the people knocked out on the floor. "What happened." Hollow had a sudden mood change. She noticed there was two older Valrae and a fire elemental.

Thalian tried to give her an angry look for taking so long, but all he could muster was another frustrating blush on top of extreme relief. As hard as he tried to prevent it, a couple of tears rolled down his cheeks he was so happy to have her help.

Thalian looked at her with a soft pleading look for the first time... looked down at his parents and poor Aideen, then back up at Hollow, peering wearily through his disheveled shoulder-length black hair with his watery black eyes.

"Please..." he begged. "I need to get them to their rooms. Their chambers are enchanted and will keep all of them safe from further attack if the assailant decides to return. There doesn't appear to be anybody in the house. On top of that, the whole city seemed deserted when I flew in. You're the only person I can count on right now. Please Hollow..."

His soft voice was a little unnerving. Hollow had not seen this side of him.

Rowan doubled over with laughter, happy to hear about the incident.

"That's wonderful!" she exclaimed. "The wand must like you then, as much as it's come to life! The more it plays with you, the better pair the two of you will make."

Delivering electric shocks to Kitara didn't exactly sound like a pleasant kind of fun, OR the thought of the wand playing jokes on her.

Hollow could feel nothing but pity for the boy and she was definetly uneasy now. She looked at the people and wondered how she was going to get them anywhere. Hollow had a hard time with just pulling herself around. Thalian probably didnt know how skinny and weak she really was. Then she thought about an animal that might be able to carry them then she looked at Thalian.

She walked over to him and squatted down. She violently took hold of his chin. "Your fine! Suck it up and help me. I cant do it alone." Hollow was growling and showing all of her sharp teeth. "I've never seen someone so pathetic when things go wrong." Hollow wanted to slap him, but she refrained. Instead she turned herself into a small cat so she could easily get out of her clothes and then she turned into a familar looking wolf, but it was bigger this time.

She started to nuzzle underneath the female Valrae trying to get her onto her back. "A little help here boy!" She barked. She couldnt get her on just right. The wolf body was so much stronger than her human like one. She wouldnt have been able to get them anywhere if it was up to her.

Thalian looked stunned by her sharp approach, but he supposed he shouldn't have been surprised. He grinned to himself when she transformed once he figured out what she was doing.

"Are you trying to lift my mother or nuzzle her? Hahahaha! I should have expected such weak attempts from a little girl."

It was obvious he was trying make up for his pathetic state of affairs earlier, despite how badly timed and misplaced his comments might have been. Hollow would most certainly bite him the next chance she got... so he kept his distance from her as he helped drape his mother over Hollow's furry back.

"Her room is the last door at the end of the left hallway when we get up the stairs." he said, trying to help keep his mom balanced on Hollow's back.

"We'll obviously have to take them up one at a time. We'll come back for Aideen next."

Hollow growled at Thalian. She wasnt in the mood for messing around and she was trying harder than he was two seconds ago. The big wolf cantered up the stairs at a fairly fast pace. She quickly found the room and the bed. She was able to jump on the bed and put the person down.

She didnt say much as she worked she didnt want provoke any more comments. She would probably end up biting Thalian. Hollow didnt even notice that she was growling the whole time she was working. She made her way back down stairs to pick up Aideen. This time she waited for Thalian to put the fire elemental on her back cause apparently her method was pointless and not working. Hollow continued her low growl.

Thalian gave her a sarcastic stare.

"Oh stop it you."

He looked at Aideen, not entirely sure how to lift her up. He wondered if she would burn him on accident if he touched her? And to top it off... she had burned off all her clothes... Beads of sweat rolled down his temple and he looked at Hollow nervously as if he was fishing for some advice.

He finally caved and gingerly bent down and touched her smokey black shoulder experimentally, ready to jerk his hand away if it stung. She actually felt surprisingly cool, and being MORE than careful not to handle her inappropriately, he hoisted her onto Hollow's strong back.

"Take her to the same room where you laid my mother. I know this might sound a bit odd but... uh... I'd like you to lay her in the big fireplace in the left wall. It has more than enough room and plenty of kindling to accomodate her..." he blushed a little.

This whole thing sounded ridiculous even in his own ears. Here he was standing by two women with no clothes on; one being a pissed off wolf and the other being a burned out fire elemental. On top of that, he was requesting the first one to throw the second one into the fireplace. He really didn't believe his day could get any stranger...

Hollow shook her head. "whatever." She started back up the stairs and back into the room she was just in she found the fireplace and stared at it. 'im not fire proof' She thought to herself. She growled at the door and then again at the fireplace. She decided to get right up next to the fire and tip her in it. Carefully she layed the girl in the fire, but not without stepping on a hot coal.

Hollow yelped out in pain and backed up really fast. It didnt hurt to much, but she did squeel like a hurt dog. She started limping back to the room with the last person in it. Her growl was now even louder. She layed down next to the bigger Valrae and wined at the sight of him he was so big. She grew a little bigger to try and accomidate.

Thalian decided not to let her torture herself anymore. She had been most helpful as it was already. So, with a decided "Harumph!", Thalian hoisted is father over his shoulder and started up the stairs. He started to go right, but then he figured his father would want to sleep next to his mother rather than in his crowded study. His knees were beginning to shake under Rolgen's weight, and one of his wings kept flopping onto Thalian's head.

He stiffened his own wings as much as possible in order to maintain his balance, and then carried Rolgen down the hall and into the same room where Valerie and Aideen laid, every once in awhile having to blow one of his dark bangs out of his face. He put his father on the bed next to his mother. He knew they would be happier that way.

He turned around and saw Aideen lying in the fireplace, and his face contorted into a most conflicted and pained frown. There was just something wrong with letting somebody comfortably roast on top of a flaming row of logs. He knew she would be better off there however, so he shook his head of the sight and went back down stairs to sit on the bottom step again where the singed and pouting Hollow was still waiting.

"Come closer to me." Rowan said as she climbed up over a chair and on top of the desk. She stood towering over Kitara, who looked rather sad and upset squatting on the floor with her little honeycomb wand. She always had a way of looking so cute no matter how upset she got, and Rowan chuckled.

"Ok" she said as she cracked her knuckles. (Which was not comforting)

"Now, I want you to aim the wand at me and make me levitate a foot or so off the surface of the desk. It's quite simple. Just pour the picture of what you have in mind into the wand, and focus your energy in my direction. Once you have me in the air, you can control where I go by concentrating your thoughts through the tip of the wand."

Rowan must have been QUITE brave to allow Kitara to experiment on herself right off the bat. Her silent justification was that Kitara's new wand knew her very well, and might be more prone to obey if it knew it was aiming at Rowan. Key word being... "might".

Hollow watched as he struggled to get the huge man up stairs. She thought it would be best to change into her clothes now, but she noticed something was missing in the pile. First it had been spewed out probably from her walking over it, but her pants were missing.

Thats when it hit her. When she was taking Aideen upstairs there was something caught on her. She just thought it was a singed dress, but aparently it was her pants. She rushed upstairs to look at the fire place and sure enought there they were burning.

Hollow was thouroughlly embarassed. What was she going to do now. She could ask Thalian for a pair of his... No way! She would just have to stay a wolf. But that brought up another problem. She had never slept in her animal form before. She could turn human again during her sleep. "Aw Crap." She cursed under her breath.

She came back down to the original room that she was in and layed down. She didnt want to think about it right now.

A small gasp came from somewhere above the desk. Rowan was in the air alright... about thirty-five feet off the ground. She gulped nervously as she looked down. While she was hovering very still now, she did not want to cry out and break Kitara's concentration. She noted that her eyes were closed, which was probably a good thing right now. A fall from thirty-five feet would... would not be a good thing.

"Ve..very good Kitara!" she stuttered. "You're doing splendid! Now uh... just picture me coming straight back down. You're doing just..just fine! No worries! I'm comfor..comfortable up... he..here!" She chuckled nervously.

Thalian wondered where Hollow was wandering off to when she went back upstairs, and noted her very perturbed look as she came back down. He didn't want to be rude to her since she did just go out of her way to help him...

"Are you alright, Hollow?" He asked in as normal of a tone he could muster.

Hollow jerked her head to look at Thalian. If only looks could kill. "No."She got up. "First im going to rip your throat out and then im going to open up your chest and eat your insides." Hollow was walking towards Thalian with an evil aura surrounding her, but this dog was all bark and no bite. "Then im going to make a rug out of your carcas and spoons and forks out of your ribs and then ill make you eat your leftovers!"

Hollow was really close to Thalians face now. She was getting bigger and bigger and her voice deeper and more demonic. "The best part is you wount know when im going to strike." She had her fangs bared and a feirce appearance on her face. She was definetly intimidating. "Thalian boy you are a thorn in my side!" She barked

Thalian returned her barking and glares with a very sarcastic stoic face, even when Hollow as an inch from his nose.

"No you won't." He glared and grinned at her...

He touched his nose against her wolf snout and gave her the most wicked cheeky smile, showing both pairs of his pearly fangs as he staired through the curtains of his coarse disheveled hair with his sharp dark eyes.

"Because you think I'm cute...."

Thalian didn't really believe Hollow thought he was handsome OR cute. He just figured that saying so would embarrass her enough to make her sulk away to the corner at least. He didn't want to admit that her fierce growling and threats had unnerved him a little.

Hollows expression changed imediatley. Her ears went back and she stopped growling. She was glad he couldnt see the color of her face because it was probably bright crimson by now. She had her mind so distracted with selling and running for her life she didnt even stop to think about what she thought about Thalian.

Her nose was still touching his when she yelled "I... I... do not!" Hollow didnt like this game. She had verbal fought alot, but not like this. She was unprepared. "I would never!"

"You think IM cute!" How childish she was being. For all she knew Thalian was just taking her in because it was his duty or something.

"I most certainly do NOT!" Thalian protested. He had not expected Hollow to retort like that. "You're the ugliest fattest wolf I have ever seen!"

It was just then he realized how stupid that sounded...

On top of that, during his retort, he had practically headbutted Hollow during his outburst. He quickly pulled his face away from her rumpled snout and tried hard to stare at the uninteresting wood of the stair banister. If it could have stared back, it would probably be mocking him too.

"Hmph." he puffed. I at least hope you plan on making yourself presentable when I hand you over to my father tomorrow, although I doubt even HE could put up with your nonsense for long!" Thalian was intentionally trying to make Hollow angry now. Perhaps she would tuck tail and run away from him. That would certainly do him more favors than presenting her to his parents tomorrow. Why should he even bother.

Because she just helped me out when she didn't have to, that's why... His stupid conscience answered his silent questions.

"Gods damn it all..." he grimaced..
