Kitty sighed, starting to cut the threads, and pull them out. "ow! some of these are tough," she stopped when she got down to the first canine, "Thanks for letting me know, and if you wanna curl up in here after you get back you know i'm good for it." she smiled, cuddling someone till they felt better was a strong point of hers. "I should be all better but for this," She pointed to her eye, "By then."

Rain looked at him as he got up, and she clicked the remote to turn the VCR off. "I don't mind if you do. I could care less since I'm going to bed in a minute." She got up and pulled Santo into a hug. "You're welcome. And thank you. For being a good friend to me. For everything." She pulled back after a second and blushed, not sure if she should have hugged him or not. She grabbed the chair and pushed it back over to the table, and made sure everything was organized. "I need to find my nightgown and my shorts and tanktop," she muttered. She'd check Jorge's to make sure he still didn't have them. She gave Santo a friendly nudge as an indication he should probably leave. "Unless you want to stand there while I get dressed for bed you should probably leave." She laughed, and the hint of a blush showed on her face.

Rain sighed and sat down on her bed. She was glad she'd come up with some excuse for him to leave so she wouldn't make a fool of herself any more. She noticed he took her joking well and smiled to herself. She grabbed a cookie and munched on it, grabbed her laptop and checked it, noting the appointment she had made for the day after. "Ah, hell. I'd almost forgotten. At least I get paid for it, though." She continued to mumble things like that until she checked the clock - 1:24! She grumbled and got dressed and hopped into bed, falling asleep quickly.

"Yeah..I was gonna just leave tonight, hopfully come back tomorrow..But then I thought it out, and knew telling you I'm going was best." He scrubbed his face with his hands. "My parents found out..Mom wasn't happy." Cove's voice cracked a bit. "She said some stuff and..I don't think I can move on from it."

She stopped looking at her knew scared body and walked over to him, hugging him, "Sorry this may be awkward, but you know i'm here for you whenever you need a shoulder or just a set of arms. I'll take care of you to, Iif you need it of course." She ruffled his hair, and chuckled, "Sorry bout the awkward boobie hug, I'll go wrap these back up and put my clothes on."

Cove hugged her back laughing a little, "Its okay..on the boobie hug." He nodded smiling, "I know, , Kitty. S'why I love it here. 'Cause I know how welcome I am here." His smile faded and he looked down at the floor. "Can..you not tell anyone though? Why I'm leaving for a little?" Cove sighed glancing over at her. "Anyway, I'm leaving tonight anyway. Hopfully back tomorrow night." He started to turn towards the door. "I'll see you when I get back, Kitty." Cove waved to her.

"be super careful, I don't need to lose any of you in anyway, right now." She smiled at him sliping her night shirt on, She waved back. "Love you like a bro. Good luck" She hated to see this happen but she wasn't his mother or sister so, what could she do.

"I promise to come home in one piece." Cove stopped at her door, "Love you too, Sis." Glancing back at her before walking out the door. He was about to walk out when he noticed he was still in his PJs. "I'll just get my wallet." Cove ran back up the stairs to his apartment.

Opening his door, he walked inside and to his bedroom. He grabbed his pants he was wearing earlier and pulled his wallet out, shoving it in the pocket of his PJs. He grabbed his keys as well, unhooking them from his pants. Cove walked of his room, and kicked off his slippers, pulling on his sneakers. He looked around his apartment one last time and walked out, closing his door behind him. Cove stopped, looking down the stair before he started walking down them slowly.

Kitty curled up to sleep, as the hours slowly crept by she did few things like turn on the tv and watch a porno for a minute then tried to find something good, she got disgusted when she came across a surgury and turned it off then read a book. finally around 7 a.m. she fell asleep.

When Cove got the last step, he looked back up. "Bye, I'll be back soon.." He walked towards the doors, and out of the building. With his hands in his pockets, he made his way to where he parked his car the last time he drove it. When he got to it he pulled his keys from his pocket, unlocked his driver side door and got in. After he closed his door, he put his key in and turned it starting his car. Cove sighed, driving out of his spot and turned the corner and off to his parents house.

Kitty startled awake, "It's 10, I don't want to get mixed up." She got up and went to her office to work on the bills, 'hal hasn't paid and neither has anyone else, boo! oh santo paid yay hot man santo!" She made a thumbs up sign at the computer. as she fished out a pen to write that down and pick up a small box, that was for this occasion, The i'm a good boy pin, i pay my bills. giggled at her stupidity, 'it worked that one month that everyone refused but Cove.' The bills got paid fast for about six weeks till.....no don't think about that. grrr!"

Lacey crept into her nightgown and stumbled into bed. It had been a very rough, but exciting, day. As much as it pained her to know, there were three things she was aboslutely sure of. One, the tennants are sure-fire maniacs. Two, the landowner was even crazier. Three, she REALLY needed a new shampoo! That smell was really getting to her.

Cove was sitting on the side of the road, staring at the sign for the exit to go back to town and to his apartment. His mind was racing, debating weither to go back and try again, or just got back to his apartment and lock himself away for weeks. He had driven none stop and his parents didn't even let him step onto their side walk.

"GOD, THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID." He glared at his steering wheel now and punched it until, he cut his knuckles and bled. All he saw was white hot anger. Cove glanced at the clock, starting up his car again and turned onto the exit and started heading back to the apartment building. "If I just left, nobody would've even known I was gone." He signed, keeping his eyes on the road.
