"Yeah...he made it out to one of our shows before he got sick." Cove shruged, waveing a hang in the air. "Eh, it happens." He looked over at Santo, "You think he knows that?" His eyebrows knitted together, hoping his Uncle did.

Kitty stood, "Don't ever touch my ears." She had a sort of wild look in her eyes, her normally slit pupals opened wide, then with a breath went back down, "Sorry, i'm a bit sensitive, and over react when cat gets upset." She nervously chuckled, "It wonderful thank you." she missed the swish of hair on her neck but let it go. "Shall we go find Santo and help him. I may have heard cove earlier on his guitar, i say we check there."

Rain laughed. "It's fine about the sensitivity. It was kind of cute in an animal way when you got mad." Rain bit her lip. "Sure. Let's go!" She opened the door and let Kitty out first, and closed it behind them.

kitty stood taller in her Platforms as she strode to the door to cove's room, She knocked and unknowingly wrapped her tail around her right leg like a whip. She was a little nervous.

Santo smiled at Cove and said with conviction, "Yes I'm sure he knows and is very proud of you." He leaned back and added, "You should play a bit more. I'm sure the girls will be a while yet."

Rain stood by Kitty, shorter even with her heels, and giggled when Kitty's tail wrapped around her leg. "Nervous Kitty? Is it because of Santo..?" Even Rain blushed a bit.

Cove felt happier now, knowing that now. "Wow, after the letter I got from my parents...that totally makes me feel better. Thanks." He picked up his guitar again, struming a little thinking of a song. "How about..." His fingers started dancing along the cords.


"I'm S-I-C-K of my meaningless life where C-H-A-N-C-E-S pass me by. That's R-E-A-L-I-T-Y." He paused his singing. "Praise O-U-R Lady of terrible guilt. Thats not my I-D-E-A of F-R-E-E will. Thats R-E-A-L-I-T-Y." His voice paused again, but his guitar playing didn't. Then he opened his mouth again, words spilling out. "Mr. C-O-O-L at all of the shows your A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E is old. This is R-E-A-L-I-T-Y. And you might ask why nothing's ever how it seams. I think I knew more when I was 13. When did life get so real?"

Max's voice grew louder, his eyes closed tightly remembering what happened late last night into this early morning, between him and his parents. "And now I feel like I'm losing my mind. I use to think all the time. Now thinking hurts, and feeling is worse. I liked reality better when it was a dream." His voice grew softer with the last word. "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, nananana, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na." He paused looking up at Tai. "This is R-E-A-L-I-T-Y." He stared at his guitar and then Santo. "Uh...a bit..different.."

Santo said, "Yes different but still good. One of the great things about music is that there is such a variety." He smiled at Cove and continued by saying, "Makes it easier to express yourself too."

Kitty was aggravated she heard Santo, she obviously just knocked on their door. Her pupils enlarged a bit and she pounded on the door, "Santo, Cove, I know your in there, are you ignoring people who come to your door!!!"

Cove plucking the strings on his guitar as it sat in his lap. "Yeah, that is the great thing about music. Whats I love about it too." He laughed a little, nodding his head for the Nth time. "That is true. I do do that alot. I don't have to sing, just instrumental to show how I'm feeling. I use to do it alot." He then heard Kitty at the door, and turned his head towards it. Cove stood up walking towards his door, and opened it. "Uh, sorry. We weren't ignoring you. Just talking...and I was uh, playing." He made a motion with his guitar in his hand. "Uh...you wanna come in?"

Kitty breathed sharply for a moment the her face calmed and though a few strands of hair poped out her look didn't change much. "Ok then, sorry for pounding." she was a little put out but not to bad.

Kitty twirled holding the short skirt down, when cove looked at her, then Pulled Rain Forward, and Twirled her under her Hand, "So how does our birthday Princess look." She sighed, her body was starting to fight to stay awake.

Hal slipped his chain around his neck and slipped on some sandals. He picked up the present and dropped it in a large orange envelope that he had hastily scribbled a ' Happy birthday Rain' on and clipped it shut.

Rain giggled to herself as Kitty twirled her around in front of Cove and Santo. Before they said anything Rain nervously looked down at the ground and pivoted her heel on the floor. They weren't platforms like Kitty's, but they were a good four inches or so high. I haven't worn heels in so long. Or a dress, for that matter. I'm not much of a girly girl. She peeked around Cove's apartment room, and then looked at Cove himself. He plays guitar. I love guitar, even if I suck at playing it. She smiled at Cove and Santo.

"Its okay, Kitty. You don't need to be." He smiled looking over at Rain. "Awww, you look so pretty, Rain! Like really really pretty." Cove gave her a thumbs up. She really did. "So you guys wanna come in for a bit?" He moved to the side so they could get by.

Rain stepped through the door. "Thanks, Cove." She smiled and looked at Kitty.

"You're welcome." Cove grinned for a moment, before it faded into a smile.

Santo smiled at the girls and said, "You both look amazing. Very well worth the wait." He gave a wink at them and admired the pair of beauties. He said, "Well if almost everyone is ready we could start the party soon."

"Yeah, thats sounds like a good idea." Cove walked towards his guitar case, and placed his guitar inside and closed the case. He pocketed his guitar pick, as he lifted the case onto his coffee table. Slipping on his shoes as he walked over to his door, then standing next to it waiting.

"your not supposed to be noticing me, maybe i should change this is abit young, but i'm not 35 yet i can still wear a mini." she was sad she felt like she was stealing Rain's spotlight or maybe it was just her being selfish. She sighed, her tail falling limp and her ears falling a bit to. "I've never had coffee but this is a bad time to sleep body." She whispered. She Twirled trying to wake up and stumbled.

"Its okay, Kitty." He stepped towards her, "You both look stunning. 'Kay?"

"Ok" she put a hand on his shoulder, and whispered, "Iced Coffee do you have some?" 'This may be a bad idea but i need to do something I'm not sleeping through this.'

"I've been out of it since last week." Cove frowned, feeling bad. "I owe you." He looked back at everyone, leaning on the inside of his door frame.
