Santo was taken a little by surprise at the kiss but returned it quickly before she ran off. He was glad to see her happy. Santo pretty much figured that she did not wish for him to see her transform so he did not run after her. He slowly walked in the direction she had gone when he heard a scream. He ran forward saying, "Kitty?! Kitty are you okay?!" Santo was worried.

Kitty was curled up resting after her change. She looked up when santo entered and her head flopped back down, and her tail flicked inviting him to join her. She hurt for some reason. Probably because i haven't had a natural change in along time.

Nilx was in his room looking at the photo of his older sisters. "Kitty it's been years since you came to the ranch I wonder what changed you mind. Oh well her candy is hot!" He giggled curling up with a volume of Junjou Romantica.

Santo entered to see her in her cat form. She seemed to be okay. He took a few steps forward but did not approach her right away. He knew that often animals had to give approval before you could touch them. He let his eyes linger on her cat form and said with a smile, "You are really beautiful in your cat form as well Kitty. Is it okay if I touch you? I heard you scream so I hope you are okay."

Kitty purred a little and flicked her tail in invitation again. She was resting, a little she wasn't used to how calm she was at the moment. She went to lazily licking her paws while she waited for Santo she didn't want to move yet.

Santo slowly entered the clearing where she was. She really did look beautiful in her cat form. He knelt down beside her and gently reached out to touch her. This was a new experience and he was glad she was willing to share this part of herself with him.

Kitty lifted her head impatiently to his hand she was vibrating hard with her purr. She gave a soft meow then stood she was almost as tall as santo's hip her large head rubbed against his leg, Her intense eyes were soft only when they looked into Santo's. She sat next to him and wrapped her tail around his legs, and with a very human smirk yanked him to the ground then stood over him, and meowed louder, then growled a challenge before taking off into the woods.

Santo laughed and said, "Okay okay." He pet her enjoying how her fur felt and said, "I'm new to this so you can't blame me for being careful. You are beautiful though." He winked at her as she gave her challenge and ran off. Santo stood up and made sure he had the pack before trying to run after her. He was a human and she was a cat and he wasn't sure if he would keep up with her.

She was loping in a way so that Santo wouldn't loose sight of her yet not catch up. She suddenly stopped and turned a warning to Santo, her prey wasn't far.

Santo was able to not loose sight of her but he knew she wasn't going her real speed. Silently he thanked her or he would be completely lost in the woods. When she suddenly stopped and looked at him he figured that perhaps it was best to stay where he was while she went after what ever was out there.

There was a nice sized rabbit enjoying the afternoon sun not far from where they were, as kitty slunked down to watch the rabbit she saw something in the distance. Fuck what is he doing here no one was supposed to be here today. Kitty turned slowly and ran as fast as she could to santo and stood infront of him as a larger black cat came through the brush.

At first Santo wasn't worried as Kitty was stalking her prey. When Kitty jumped back and stood in front of him he knew something was up. On the up side he didn't have to wait long to find out since a huge black cat came out. Sadly that was also the down side. He was worried about Kitty and her wounds. They still needed more time and the last thing she needed was another fight.

The Black cat changed into a tall deeply tanned well muscled man. he was standing behind the bush for curtousy sake. When he spoke he had a deep voice and a brazilian accent, "Who are you? Why are you being protected by my young cousin?" He was standing arms over his chest.

Kitty was wimpering, cat why can't i change to protect him. She was givin the sly 'i wanna see how he acts in sight of Meekial' look. yikes. Kitty backed next to Santo and rested her head on his thigh, in warning, and didn't lift it. Also, for fear of what might happen she never took her eyes of the burly man.

Cove was laying upside down on his couch. He sniffled, feeling all stuffy in his nose. "Nehhhh. " Rubbing his eyes, he closed them and sighed.

Rain heard a knock on her door and sighed, going to the door. Opening it, she saw nobody, and looked down the hall, seeing a glimpse of a grinning Cove hurrying into his room. "Cove.." she said, a pout on her lips, before looking at the ground and picking up the little container. Cookies? She closed her door and sat on the couch, opening the little box and nibbling at one. "Not bad, Cove.." She said, downing the rest of the cookies.

Cove woke up on the floor next to his ouch, still feeling all stuffy. "Nehh. Whyyy?" He pulled himself up, crawling onto the couch. "Bed...too far...away..."

Rain grumbled and put the little box in the kitchen, deciding to take it back to Cove later. She went to her room and kicked her shoes off, lying on the bed. Turning on the TV, she snorted with every channel. "Meh, too much drama.. Meh.. That one's just retarded, Meh, too cartoon-y..." Once she had gone through about fifty channels, she turned the TV off and rolled over on her bed. She blinked, and mumbled something into her pillow. Tired of lying down, she tried to get up - but her leg was asleep, and she fell to the ground with a thud. A silhouetted figure showed up in her window, and she shrieked before a hand covered her mouth. She bit it and kicked upwards with her good leg.

"Now, now, Princess.. We won't do you any harm." said the man, blocking her kick.

A shriek startled Hal from his sleep. He jerked up from the floor and looked around in a panic. Through the floor he could hear a bit of struggle going on, so he wrenched the door open and went to run out only to hear a crunch. Looking down he saw a small package but he waved it off for later and instead ran down the stairs, stopping to listen for an indication where the noise from before cam from.

Santo watched as the panther changed into a man and demanded answers from him. He rested a hand gently on Kitty's head to comfort her and then looked straight at the man, not bothered by his nakedness. Santo did not think this was the time for smiles and charm so he opted for pure feelings. Seriously he looked straight at the man and said, " I am Santo DeMaro. As far as being protected by her the only reason I can think of is that for some reason she feels I need protection from you. I can not shape shift into any sort of animal. I can use a gun but I thought it would be inappropriate to bring one out here. She offered me a bow but since I have no skill with that weapon it also seemed like a bad idea seeing as how I would most likely do unwanted damage to who knows what. So seeing as how I am defenseless and in order to hurt me I figure you would have to harm Kitty, I ask that you do no such thing. I love Kitty and I don't want her hurt."

Meekial frowned, "You bring another human into our midst lets hope this one isn't like the other. THough you did apparently love that one." He glared at Kitty.

She shrunk back alittle then felt her cat relax and she changed back to human form with a large crack as her back poped into place, "GAh" She fell to her knees, SHe looked up at Meekial, whose's eyes were filled with fear for the little kit, as he thought of her.

"Kitty what happened to you!" Meekial was next to her in a minutel. "You havn't freely changed in years have you."

She chuckled as Nilx showed up, "Kit I'm sorry non of us can stand up to Meekial." He shrugged.

"It's ok Nilx and yes Meekial, It's been at least 4 years since I last felt free and saf enough to change." She stood up and leaned against Santo red from embarassment but knowing she may change back soon didn't reach for the clothes she had in her pack.

Santo winched as she changed and hoped it wasn't as painful as it sounded. He wanted to ask if she was okay but she seemed to get smothered by Meekial and Nilx right away. He was glad he had not brought his gun. When Meekial had first come out of the brush it had been Santo's instinct to pull out his weapon. Luckily for them all he had not brought it.

He gently put an arm around Kitty's waist as she leaned against him. He whispered in her ear, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry this is awkward isn't it." She chuckled a little, "So Meekial why did you disturb my hunt? Nilx left me be."

"That means nothing the punk prolly doesn't care that you haven't been able to change without the crazied cat effect. She hated that man and you bones aren't used to the change." Meekial Glared at the other cat, "And you should have known that she hadn't been to the ranch in years, cousin."

"STOP IT LET IT GO!!! I came here to have a happy quiet day and run with Santo not deal with two Boisterous cats." She nodded hard standing fully on her own. She crossed her arms over her chest.

Meekial twitched and Nilx just stared.

Rain bit on the man's hand, causing him to curse and swing his fist at the back on her head. She ducked, and ran out the bedroom door, pausing at her apartment door. With the man close behind, she kicked the door in, watching the frame crack and the door fall to the other side of the hall. The strange man caught her and made sure she didn't get away this time. "You're not getting away this time, you little cunt. Zeb!" Another man came and stuck a needle in her arm quickly, paralyzing her for the moment's time. He took Rain back to the bedroom and threw her to another man below the window, rushing to hop out himself, Zeb coming quickly after. They filed into a car and laid Rain in the backseat with the man Zeb, driving off into the night.

Another thud came from the room closest to him, and Hal stormed the door in time to see someone hop out the window. He could see Rain thrust into the back of a car, but there were only two people, not much trouble. He caught the liscence plate and memorized it as he leaped out the window himself.

The car took off as he landed and shot off at a run after it, hiding low in the crowds of people walking around and staring at the car that just kidnapped someone. There wasn't any chance of him keeping up with that car if it went anything over 20 mph which it undoubtedly would...But traffic would keep it from going too far.

Santo kept an eye on Kitty to make sure she wouldn't fall over. He listened to the conversation and wondered a little about everyone and what exactly had happened in the past. Everyone seemed very protective of Kitty, which made him glad, but what had happened for them to be so protective. Kitty had always spoken well of Tatsu so he didn't think he could have treated her that badly.

He decided to stay silent and let the 'cats' have their talk.
