Hal walked passed the door with a roll of his eye and flipped his hair over his shoulder, he had braided it to keep it out of the way today and he did NOT want the roll of of bed hair that his Editor liked so much...

Kitty had her pen on her nose waiting for Jaize.

For some reason, Lacey awoke just minutes after she had fallen into a deep sleep. "Huh? Thats odd." She said aloud while checking her watch. 'I wonder if the old gym is still there...?' She thought curiously on her way out. She nodded and smiled at Kitty when she passed, "Hey! Would you like to visit the gym with me? If its still there I mean! A lot has changed since the vacation." She sighed.

Hal rolled his eyes. "You look familiar kid." He said bluntly. "And sure, I'll go to the gym with ya. Won't gaurantee I'll do anything more than sit around though..." Anything to avoid going to that cramped little work office with that freak trying to goad him into something...

Lacey cocked her head to the side, "I actually meant Kitty, but okay." She placed her hand on her hip and raised a finger. " Now now! If you go to a gym, you must do SOMETHING." She glanced him over quickly. "We'll start with a some time on the treadmill, eh?"

Hal scrunched up his nose. "bleh, I hate exercise! I get enough walking across town to get vodka!"

His metabolism did enough for the little food he ate... But he really didn't want to see Mochi...

((Yeahhuh. Its alright though.))

"Well then, I'll go alone." She stuck her nose up into the air in such a snotty way, it made her giggle. " Unless..! What if-- Nah! It wouldn't work unless you reall wanted your vodka." She flicked her wrist into the air and turned to walk away.

Hal ran after. "What do you mean?" He demanded in panic. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN! DID YOU BREAK INTO MY APARTMENT AND STEAL MY VODKA????" He was freaking out now, winding dozens of ridiculous scenarios involving his Vodka being GONE.

She cowered back, slowly stepping toward the door. "N-no? I was just saying that I could go and buy you some vodka and reward you with some once you excersise. But I figured that would never work because you...don't..like..to exercise?" She was shaking slightly by his tone. Lace backed closer and closer to the door, her hand now on the knob.

Hal instantly calmed, pulling his braid over his shoulder to contemplate this...."What kind of exercise and what how much vodka?"

"Well... it all depends on what type of exercise you are willing to do." She cupped a hand over her chin and placed a finger to her mouth, "Your favorite kind? I guess you could just come to the store and pick out a kind. I really have no clue what specific kind you like." She shrugged.

Hal bit his lip...He reeeeally didn't want to go exercise, that was so nasty!, and he really didn't want to see Mochi....but he got bonuses when he handed it in before the deadline....and he DID have vodka upstairs..."I'll pass...." Hal replied slowly. "I'll pass, but maybe some other time...."

Kitty sat back and started on lacey and Cove's bills. "Just poke me when ya'll finish that paper."

Hal left the other and continued down to the final flight of stairs where he saw Kitty and another woman at the desk. He raised a brow at the eager expression on the furbin's face.

Kitty sighed, she had been thinking of the walk she was gonna put on a dress maybe it sounded fun, but they always irritated her tail. "Hey Hal was up this is Jaize. She's gonna live right below you."

Cove just kinda stood there, trying to figure out what was going on now. He sat on the steps, tapping his foot to a beat in his head.

Hal looked concerned and held his chin his hand, expression turning to horror. "oh....oh dear...Like, the floor beneath me? My floor is her ceiling? I have to be quiet?"

"Yeah it's a rule anyway." She harumphed, "you know I hate to be kept up all night." She was gonna say something then thought better of it. "Hey I don't really need this now why don't you take it. You look like you could use it." She pulled the vodka from under her desk, "cats and alcohol bad combo anyway."

Hal sighed and waved it off, serious now. "Can't I have to go in to the office..." He looked tired for a moment. "Seeya later than..." he mumbled and waved carelessly before heading out the door.

"Careful." she really worried about him she knew he didn't like his editor. "Hal."

"Yeah yeah." he grumbled and walked out.

Jaize had just finished a line, and was going to cast a hello in Hal's direction but he was gone when she looked up.

"There, I think that should do it..." She looked the page over, feeling bad for holding everyone up this long. Her signature was scribbled all over the papers, her handwriting a lot like chicken scratch. Hardly feminine.

"Do we need to pay in advance or...?" She sat there, reaching one hand into her pocket to touch the envelope of money she'd brought just in case. She needed this place. Badly. And no one could know she was here.

"Thank you Miss..." Jaize said, standing.

"Hey this is yours, i don't mind it's up to you when you pay." She said handing the bag to her, "you want the tour?" she asked smiling.

Jaize nodded, pulling the envelope forward and handing it to Kitty. "Here's the first three months in advance..." she says, softly so the others don't hear.
