Lorna Dane known as Polaris to most always thought family to be important to her even when her father Magneto did some crazy things in the name of his form of planetary domination. Though recently she has noticed her father becoming a little crazy with his plans and has actually seen him killing a few mutants. It's gotten to the point where she's become afraid of her father and has contacted SHIELD and was currently waiting for her contact on the edge of the Island of Genosha.

"Is that her?" the young man brushed his black hair out of his face, returning his gaze to the woman below. "You sure that's her?" He had to shout to be heard above the chopper's blades, but one of the others nodded.
Staring at the green-haired female, he shrugged. "Well, I guess we've all seen weirder things." The chopper found a clear place to land and slowly made it's way to the ground.
Fox jumped out, his boots sending a cloud of dirt up around his ankles. "You her?" he shouted, raising a gloved hand to shield his eyes from flying debris and wind.

Lorna looked to the man near the helicopter. She looked around making sure nobody was nearby before nodding and speaking loudly "Yes I am Polaris... are you my contact?" She was at the same time concentrating her magnetism to make sure that none of Genosha's detection systems would detect the helicopter.

"Aye," Fox saluted, his fist over his heart. "Private Fox, Miss."
Looking back up to the chopper, he gave a small wave. "You ready to head out?" His brown eyes gleamed with an spark of adventure-lust, and the young man extended one of his gloved hands to Polaris.

Polaris started manipulating the Earths magnetic poles and started to float upwards "Thank you Private Fox" toward the helicopter and into the open door without Fox's help.

Fox watched the woman float up into the chopper, his hand still hovering in the air. "Well," he huffed, "nice to meet you, too."
Snagging the swinging ladder that was lowered for him, the soldier joined the rest of the team inside of the aircraft. His black hair was in disarray as he took his seat near the door, but Fox's optimistic attitude was back in place.
"Ready for take off!" he said, meeting Polaris' gaze with his own. The pilot nodded, and they were soon headed back the way they had come.

((*cough* Not quite sure what to do from here... lol, should you tell me where they meet and who they should meet? :XD I'm silly when it comes to this side of Marvel. -_-'))

As the landed on the SHIELD helicarrier Polaris looked out the window. She didn't really expect SHIELD to welcome her with open arms. Especially with the person she was related to. She stepped out of the helicopter to meet an armed escort. She could have easily disarmed these guys and defeated them but she imagined they would've taken precautions against this. But she was here to get help for her father not to destroy the help.

An officer approached Polaris "Lorna Dane I'm Major Pierce... I and my escort have been ordered to take you to see General Fury" Polaris nodded and followed the escort.

"Have you seen this woman?" Fox's voice rose above a bit of chatter that filled the room. Sitting down with his tray of food, the soldier sighed. "She's amazing, I tell you!"
"You say that about every woman you see," someone chuckled. Fox blushed and stared down at his meal.
"Nah," he muttered, "I really mean it this time. She carries this . . . this aura about her. Like she could rule the world if she wanted to. Strong, sure, and-"
"Eat your food, Private. You're going to be sticking around Polaris for a little while until we find out if she can be trusted." The deep voice of a large man silenced the lunch room, and Fox nodded vigorously, his shaggy black hair falling about his slender features. With brown eyes wide, the soldier started to scarf down his food, obedient as ever.
"Yes Ssur!" he said through a mouthful of bread. His manners brought a glare from the huge man, and Fox continued chewing before saying it again. "No worries. I'll watch her like a hawk."
"It's your job to be the support, not the spy," the man said, shaking his head. "Meet in the common room in one hour, Fox. By then, General Fury should be done with her."

((Hmm. Alright, so now what can we do with this? Let's see . . . Fury has Polaris at this moment. When he's done with her, Fox and a few others are going to be "helping"/keeping an eye on her. What is the first thing they should do together? Fury is going to want proof that she's not tricking them, after all. :)))

They weren't alone, despite the room being empty besides the two of them. There were cameras, there were guards outside the door, and there were multiple screens that flashed about one wall. There was a large metal desk, a rotating chair, and a small lamp, but other than that, the room was empty. It's open floor was dark, one couldn't even see into the corners, the only light coming from the flashing screens that covered the wall behind Fury.
Clasping his hands behind his back, General Fury turned to face Polaris. "I am under the impression that you want your father taken care of. Why the change of heart?" His single eye lit upon the woman as he regarded her steadily. Standing tall and broad, the General waited silently for an answer.

((*giggle* This feels odd - like taking control of someone else. :) If there's something you need the General to say, go ahead and make him say it. :XD Hope it's alright!))

Polaris looked to Fury "I don't want my father dead if it's avoidable... my father has gotten to the point where he's killing people botg human and mutant needlessly... he's done it before but only in the defense of Genosha." Her face remained neutral as she spoke. Her father had taught her the art of diplomacy and diplomacy required a calm nature.

"So you want help stopping Magneto?" Fury said, turning back to the multiple screens. "Without killing him off." The General stayed neutral, his expression closed. "And what makes you think that I'm willing to send SHIELD to help you? You're his daughter. I won't assume that what you're saying is true." It very well could be a trap of some sort, some way to catch SHIELD off guard. General Fury lifted his gaze to the screen that showed Polaris standing behind him.

Polaris replied "It could have been a trap but like my father I have a certain distaste for humans... even still I'd never kill them unprovoked... I only came to you as a last resort General Fury... if you don't believe me still... then I submit myself to a lie detector following while holding onto an EMP emitter so I cant coerce the detector"

"I think it would be a bit more sufficient if you went through all of those," Fury nodded his head, his skin dark in the dimly-lit room. "As well as go through another test. If you're unwilling to do so, then I'll take all of this as some kind of joke."
The General reached up and tapped on of the screens. The image grew, spreading out over all of the other pictures. A young mutant sat crosslegged on the floor, his white hair falling in front of his face. His skin was a light tan, his hair completely snow white, and his eyes covered with a strip of black cloth.
"This is Truth," the General said. As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Truth looked up at the screen. "I want you to see him before we help you."
The mutant mouthed something, and the person he was talking to left the room. A few seconds later, he stepped up behind Polaris. "Truth says you wanted to see him, sir?"
"Show Polaris into his room," Fury said, dismissing the two of them. "Let me know when she is finished."

Truth was looking at the metal door when it slid open. His eyes remained covered as he sat crosslegged on the floor.
"Polaris," he said, his smooth voice monotoned. "I am to test your thoughts and see if what you say is true." His pale hair cascaded around his face as the mutant motioned to the chair before him. "If you'll let me, I will read your mind."

Polaris nods and empties her thoughts "Ok ready" she prepared to have her mind probed the only thought that stayed was her worrying about her father.

"Why do you worry about him so?" Truth asked, tilting his head slowly. His clothing rustled slightly as he shifted to sit on his knees. Reaching up, he asked for her hand.

Polaris replied "He's my father the man who raised me... who helped me when I needed it and held me when I was sad" she held her hand out to truth opening her mind to him.
