The remainder of the school day was torture for Seth. He sighed repeatedly through his final class, drawing annoyed glances from a few of his classmates. Instead of apologizing, the tall teen merely ran a hand through his black hair, closing his blue eyes to ignore the world. It was like a bit of heaven when the bell finally rang, signaling the end of the day.
Seth went to wait by his car, leaning against it while waiting for his friends. He would show them to his home, and them make them wait in the field while he went to the store. Then they could all wait until dark - and the real fun would begin.

Sal barley waited for the bell to ring and she was out of her seat and headed towards Seths car, she couldn't wait until tonight--and to see seth...She blushed just at the thought of seeing him, holding his hand...watching the fire flies...when she reached his car, he was there..waiting...she tried acting cool, walking normal speed toward him"Hey stranger" She said with a laugh.

((:D I made a sheet for him as well . . . it's on the first page of the RP. ^_^'))
Seth was absently fiddling with the set of keys in his hands when he heard Sal. At first, he didn't realize it was her - and her words made his pale blue eyes shoot up to her face. Eyes wide, he then relaxed, pushing himself away from the worn out car.
"Hey," he said in a deep, low voice, seductive as she was trying to be. Playfully looking up at Sally through his dark hair, Seth quirked an eyebrow. Laughing quietly, he moved to take her hand in his, nudging the girl's side with his elbow. "Alex texted me and said he wouldn't be able to make it. Something came up." Which means we'll be alone tonight. Clearing his throat, Seth led his friend over to the other side of the car. "To the store! My mom wants coffee, and she'll beat me if she doesn't get it."
It was merely moments later when they were driving out of the parking lot and toward the local grocery store. "Do you have a book you can read or something? It's going to be a while before I can get out of the house." Not to mention curfew. . . .

Sal, sitting in Seths car was soo happy Alex wasn't going to be there, don't get her wrong she likes the kid..buut she likes Seth more. "OH, Yeah I got tons of homework..." She said with a laugh and grinned at Seth and even gave a little wink.
She liked flirting with Seth because his face turned the cutest shade of pink, she loved it. Especially with his dark hair...Sal almost melted just looking at Seth.

Swallowing, Seth forced his attention to the road once again. "Okay," he said quietly, trying in vain to get his dark blush to disappear. There were a few moments of embarrassed silence as they drove up to the store's front, and Seth smiled to Sal before opening his door. "Wait here?" he asked, and then took off quickly. He returned soon with a container of coffee, as well as a bag of chips.
Tossing them into the back seat, Seth grinned. "This is for tonight," he said, and then started the car.

They drove up to the house not long after their short silence from the store. Seth glanced at the front window, smiling grimly. "Do you want to wait here, or at the pond?" Snagging the snacks for later, the emo-themed youth looked back to Sal . . . and smiled crookedly. "It will be at least half an hour before my mom forgets of my existence until roughly midnight."
Glancing to the clock, he grimaced. Almost 6. "Do you want anything to eat while I'm missing?" Looking at the bag of chips in his hand, Seth offered it to Sal. "I don't want my family eating it."
Leaning over, he let his lips hover over hers for a moment before kissing her cheek instead. "I'll see you in a bit," he said in a rush, slipping out of his car and pointing toward the back of the house. "The pond's out back, in case you were wondering."

"Chip are fine" Sal smiled, when his lips were so close to hers her heart stopped, she wanted him to kiss her so bad...instead he kissed her cheeks which instantly turned red. When he ran into his house sal decided to go to the pond out back, she climbed out of the car and walked like a ninja to the pond not wanting to be seen. When she reached the pond she sat on a rock...munched on some chips..and skipped rocks..it wasn't long before the sun would set...and she would be with her seth once again..

((LOL, HER Seth. :P
Seth: ))
When he walked into the house, he ran into his father while he was in the office. Their exchange of words weren't a greeting, but more of an exchange of insults.
"You should learn how to dress nicely, Seth." The aging man sat in a leather chair, poring over a newspaper intently.
Seth continued on toward the kitchen, muttering something along the lines of "I would never dress like you." Meeting up with his mother, who was cooking at that moment, he kissed her cheek in greeting and set the container of coffee on the counter.
"How was school, dear?" The same question was asked every day.
"Good." And the same response was given.
"Do you have homework?"
"Sure." Seth smiled tightly, shrugging his free shoulder. His other shoulder was supporting the messenger bag that he'd pulled from the back seat of his car.
The short woman looked up from the pan she was stirring for the first time, her glasses low on the bridge of her nose. Looking over their rims at her son, she sighed. "How much?"
"Tons," Seth replied, reaching for the cupboard for a glass, in which he poured some milk from the fridge. His mother stayed silent, and after finishing his drink, the emo-themed boy headed back toward the front hallway where he'd find the stairs that led toward the bedrooms.
"You should change out of those clothes," he heard his mom call after him. "You know how juvenile they look."
I represent the family, I know. Seth shook his head, continuing on upstairs. From there, he stepped into his messy room and looked toward the window. Squinting, he looked out toward the pond, wondering if Sal was out there waiting. He saw someone out by the shore, but wasn't sure if it was her or not.
Throwing his bag onto the bed, he flopped down next to it, knowing that his mother would call him soon to help with dinner. Sure enough, Seth hadn't closed his pale blue eyes before his mother's voice rang through the upstairs hallway.
"Seth! Come help with dinner!"
He wouldn't eat with them, but he had to help cook. At least he knew how, unlike many people his age. He wouldn't starve if he had to cook for himself. With one last look at the pictures he'd taken, Seth sighed. Standing, he headed downstairs and helped finish cooking.
"You haven't changed yet?"
Seth rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "I don't think I need to. I'm not going anywhere special." Frowning, he poured the gravy he was stirring over the mashed potato dish before setting it on the table in the dining room.
There was silence on his mother's part. Sarah merely kept her lips in a tight line, pulling the platter of chicken out of the stove. "Are you eating with us?" she asked in a tense voice. Seth shook his head again, leaning against the counter and messing with the ring in his lip.
"Too much work," he lied, very much wanting to avoid being at the table with both of his parents. All they ever did was prod him about his schoolwork, make comments on his general style of dress, and ride on his attitude. Which, compared to the others his age, wasn't that bad at all. "I'll be in my room."
When everything was set out, table made, and food ready to be eaten, Seth snagged a plate of his own before heading upstairs. He would go down in about an hour, which was when the meal would be over, and help clean up. And then he'd grab some coffee that his mother had made (enough for both him and Sal), and head out to the pond.
Thinking about his friend waiting for him made Seth's steps quicken. When he got to his messy room, he closed the door with a foot, taking a bite of his dinner as he did so. The sun was slowly setting, leaving fiery streaks in the now lavender sky. Looking outside as he chewed, Seth set his plate on the dresser before rummaging about for his camera. Snapping a picture of the pond real quick, he looped the strap about his neck and finished his dinner.
Photography was something he couldn't help but love. He captured whatever scene, emotion, or color he wanted . . . and he could show it off to others when he wished. Thinking again of Sal, Seth set his plate down (again), and dug about under his bed, and then through a few drawers, and then his closet. Finally finding what he sought, the emo-themed youth set a thick album on his unmade bed. I'll see what she thinks of the pond in the winter. What he was forgetting was the few pictures of him as a child, stuck with his family . . . and younger brother.
Lounging about and waiting for time to pass was a horror . . . but he got most of his homework done within that long hour. Slipping downstairs without running into his parents, Seth cleaned up the kitchen (as was traditional), and snagged two mugs of coffee. Stirring in some some sugar and cream, the pale youth practically scrambled up the stairs to get to his room. He sat in the area next to his window, sipping a bit of his coffee as the sun set. Conveniently scattered homework was a good illusion for Sarah, who checked in on him around 7. With a tight smile, she said goodnight . . . though Seth knew she'd be back at midnight. Waiting until his mom's footsteps died away, the eager youth opened the window, grabbing his bag (which now had his album, some napkins, and two bottles of water stashed inside) and both mugs of coffee. Seth stepped out onto the roof, stepping over to the lowest part. It was roughly four feet off of the ground (thanks to the hill that they were half on top of), which allowed him to set the drinks down, hop off the house, and snag them again.
Making his way to the pond, he glanced about before spotting Sal. Forcing himself to calm down, the giddy boy headed toward her with a smile. "Thirsty?" he asked, holding out a warm mug for Sal to take.
((Dear goodness! That is a BOOK if I ever saw one.))

[[ HAHA yes HER Seth ^^ Xd and yes..How am i too keep up with THAT? Tehe]]
Sal sat staring at the pond while the sun set..."Its so beautiful.." She said to herself..Skipping a few rock while munching on the almost gone bag of chips now.."Hope Seth didnt want any..." Looking in the bag seeing a few ships left she rolled up the bag and tucked it in her Sweater pocket, saving it for seth.
Sal stood up and walked along the pond...she could draw this....she hurried to her handbag, pulled out and old rugged looking sketch book, and began to sketch the pond, tress, shadows..even a small fish that jumped. She loved to draw, and she was very good at it too. "mmmm mmm" She hummed a song that was stuck in her head...she thought of seth...god he was a cutie...maybe I should draw him sometime...she thought..Sal was almost done with the black and white sketch of the pond when Seth finally came out with coffee." Yes, I am dying of thirst" She said smirking at seth.

((Nice Avi! ^_^))
Seth handed over the coffee with a smile, letting his blue eyes move to her drawing. "Amazing," he whispered, sitting beside Sal and crossing his legs. Shifting so his mug was set in front of him, his bag to his left, and Sal to his right, the male sighed quietly. "That's incredible, Sal."
Leaning closer, he took another good look at her rendition of the pond. "I've never seen it like this." It still looked the same, but completely different. As though it was being seen through another set of eyes. "You make it look so beautiful."
The sun was setting, leaving the last traces of rosy light linger in the sky as the youth quirked a pierced brow, turning his face toward Sal herself. Lifting his mug and sipping his drink, Seth grinned. "I'm guessing this is a hobby of yours?"

She knew she could draw...but She didnt realize how well...Sal shrugged..."Its..its nothing really..." Blushing some more Sal looked away from Seth...I cant even look him in the eye without blushing..jeeze...
"Here, I saved some for you." Sal pulled out the bag of chips, Handing it to Seth.

"You saved some?" Seth's pale blue eyes widened, and he brushed his hair out of his face before reaching out and accepting the bag of chips. "Dang, I would have eaten them all."
With a laugh, he unrolled it, taking a couple and munching on them quietly. "And that, dear, is no doodle." Looking at Sal's drawing once again, he shook his head. "That is a masterpiece. It looks just like a picture that I took last month, actually." He chuckled, swallowing. "You do more than just doodle."
Pulling his bag over, Seth rifled through it until he found the album. Flipping it open, he scanned the first page, pointing to one. "See? Black and white. Yours looks just like it." He grinned crookedly, nudging Sal's arm. "You got skills, girl."
Taking a sip of his coffee, Seth set it down in front of him again before flipping to the next page in his book. "A lot of this is from a long time ago. Like this one." Pointing out the shadow of a park bench with his mother sitting on it, the youth smiled a bit. "She was in a bad mood, so I thought I'd remind her that her attitude was casting over everyone else. I think it worked for cheering her up." He laughed, leaning closer to Sal as he pulled the album to rest across both of their laps. "This was our cat. He was a cute little guy," the emo-themed youth sighed sadly, dramatically hanging his head. "We found him by the side of the road about a year ago."
With a deep breath, Seth pointed to a boy that looked very much like himself. "That was my younger brother, Aaron." He fell silent then, unsure if he should share his family's history with a . . . well, with a stranger. "He's no longer with us," Seth finally concluded, flipping to the next page.

"Well, I guess your right, It isent really doodles...because this took about an hour..." Sal smiled, playing with her loop.
She looked at the album with Seth "Wow! Look here! Seth is good at something!" She teased, knowing Seth seemed to hate school "Sorry, I am just teasing " Sal smiled and blushed a bit.
When he got to the part of his brother she saw his face grow hard..."Sorry to hear that..." She grabbed his hand with hers hoping to comfort him, putting her head on his shoulder..."so, when should we expect our little friends?" Sal wanted to change the subject.

"Wow! Look here! Seth is good at something!"
Seth had to laugh, and nudged Sal again, pretending to look offended. It was true that he wasn't the best in school . . . the only class he seemed to be passing nowadays was art and photography . . . and music. "Hey! I'm not that bad!" the boy wrinkled his nose. "I can play the piano. My music teacher thinks I'm adorable." Ah, yes. Ms. Carrillo does think I'm rather cute. Smiling again, the dark-haired youth looked back down to the album, forcing his bad feelings into the back of his mind.
When Sal grasped his hand, he couldn't help but feel butterflies flit through his stomach, and his face heated. Looking to their clasped hands, the emo nearly jumped when she rested her head on his shoulder. His gloved hand moved to rest on top of her head, and Seth rested his head on top of hers for a moment. "They'll show up any time now," he whispered, his blue eyes lingering on their entwined fingers. His thumb stroked over hers, and he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "It's almost dark." It seemed like no sooner than the words left his mouth when the first glowing bug sluggishly floated about in front of their faces. The last rays of light were dying down in the sky, but Seth didn't seem to mind. The moon and the fireflies would be more than enough light for them.
"Look there!" Leaning over to point out across the pond, Seth grinned. "They always fly over the water first." It looked like a wave of sparkling light that slowly made its way to the shore, spread across the long grass that drifted all about them, and hovered all about them. It was almost an instant change. Everything seemed to have glittering bugs somewhere, and Seth chuckled as he brushed one out of Sal's hair.

She squeezed Seths hand back as if they were speaking another language by squeezing hands.
"Their beautiful Seth..." She said looking at him, into his eyes.."Oh well, your teacher is right, you are adorable, I had no idea you played the piano! I play the flute!" Sal smiled at the emo looking kid.
"This is really amazing....you know, not to be rude, but I am glad Alex didnt make it.." She said blushing like mad.

Seth laughed at Sal's squeak, wrapping an arm about her shoulders and giving her a small hug. She was so cute when she did that. So. Cute. She commented on him being adorable, which made him duck his head in embarrassment and grin. "The flute? I never would have known." The pale boy laughed, and then rested his head on top of Sal's for a moment. "I wonder why I haven't seen you in the music room before."
And then she commented on Alex, which made a blush coat his face as it did hers. "Yeah," he said quietly. "Me too." Glancing down to Sal's face, the youth found his eyes transfixed on her lips for a moment, and his free hand reached up to touch them with one finger. He blushed even darker then, and coughed quietly. "There was a firefly," he stuttered, knowing it sounded like the lie that it was. Licking his lips nervously, Seth brushed his dark hair away from his blue eyes, looking back over to the firefly-filled grass that swayed gently around them. Despite his efforts, he couldn't keep his thoughts off of Sal, let alone her lips . . . her hand in his . . . . the very fact that they were alone.

Seth closed his eyes, leaning into Sal as he deepened their next kiss. For so long he'd wanted to do that . . . and never had the chance. Now, she was here . . . with him. Alone. Carefully pulling away, the youth took a few steadying breaths before speaking. "You don't have a . . ." he paused, and then frowned slightly, licking his lips. The slightest thought flickered through his mind - she tasted . . . sweet. "A boyfriend, or anything . . . right?"
Well, hopefully not. Because he was just about ready to challenge him.

"But I'm thinking I should ask someone." His smile turned into a wide grin. "There's this girl. I've been wondering if she's available for a while now, and it's hard to just walk up and ask." His blue eyes flit up to the night sky as a small breeze lifted the glowing bugs up all around them. "Do you think she'll say yes?"
