-Schedules- Seth: Period 1 - Photography (Leyna has this as well) Period 2 - Math Lunch Period 3 - History Period 4 - Gym (Leyna has this too) - You would not believe your eyes. . . . Seth smiled happily as small dazzling lights flashed about him, flitting about on the breeze. The boy sat on the stone, darkness all around him, moon and stars the only light - besides the fireflies. He laughed as one of the glowing bugs tickled his cheek, and he brushed a few of the critters out of his shaggy black hair. If anyone saw this, he'd be dead for life. No one understood what it was like to come out here alone beside the pond. Tugging on the ring in his lip, he sighed. No one understood him usually, so why bother trying to hide his night time ventures? His parents didn't know he wasn't in bed, his window had been left open for him to sneak back into; no one had to know. Yet there was a distant part of Seth that longed for company - for someone to share this with. Looking around him, the youth smiled. Fireflies landed all about the grass, swaying softly with the breeze. Who couldn't love this? Who would want to return to the real world where work and school took precedence over everything else? Seth surly didn't want to return. But he knew - when morning came, he would have to go back. As he fell backwards, glowing bugs rushed up around him like a golden cloud of dust. Laying silent, Seth closed his blue eyes. If only there was a way to stay like this. . . . His serene moment was shattered by the sound of approaching footsteps. ((Okay, done. :P Let's see what ideas you peeps can come up with, eh?)) |
She hated being stuck in a private school, wearing stupid uniforms..going to classes to learn how the "real world" works..what did they know about life? Life was freedom,music,art..anything beautiful and colorful yet I am stuck in this..this..hell with a gray light to it..at night I would sneak out to go party with a friend, I would get drunk sometimes to get lose and forget about the stresses of life..it was hard being a teenager..to old to be a kid..to young to have any real fun..Sal sighed and pulled her red hair behind her ear reaviling gauges...and she played with her nose ring..sal did that when something was bothering her...
|
If ten million fireflies. . . .
Seth sighed in relief. It was just a young couple heading to the pond for a late-night date. I should probably start heading back. . . . Standing, the youth sighed. Running a hand through his scraggly hair, he looked around him one last time. The gleaming fireflies winked back at him as though sad to see him go. Seth smiled and snatched one out of the air, cupping it between his hands. "See you tomorrow, little fella," he whispered, blowing the bug into the air. The teen then headed home, walking alone through the darkness. It would do him good to have a bit of sleep before going to school. |
waking up early wasent Sal's thing..infact she hated it. when her alarm went off at six thirty am she just about cried..she got up and put on her dumb uniform, did her hair and makeup and headed downstairs for breakfast..mmm she loved food. she was the only one awake so she always cooked for herself, after that she headed to school, Sal lked walking becouse then she didnt feel so crowded by randome people she hated.
|
Lit up the world as I fell asleep.
Seth woke in the morning, his feeling of joy fading as his alarm blared out an annoying tune. Slamming his hand down on the snooze button, he groaned and slid out of bed. He hated mornings. It was always the worst time of day. Showering and getting ready for school, the youth left without speaking to his parents. Since he never ate breakfast, he never sat with his family. With his backpack slung over a shoulder, Seth approached the school's front doors with a grimace. Here goes another day of routine. . . . Yanking the door open, he lowered his head and walked to class, taking his usual seat by the window. It was his way of escaping class; looking outside always calmed him. Seth shoved his bag under his chair, tongue running over his piercing. The silver ring was his way of being unique - it reminded him of his night time ventures to the lake. Different, and unwanted. Just like me, he thought, staring outside. The teen didn't get out his books when class started, but kept his blue eyes on the window, his black hair falling into his face. Seth sighed. Another day of school . . . some things never changed. |
When Sal got to school she already wanted to leave. She got to class early so she could sit in the back and doodle, what was the point for school anyways? Im just gonna end up in college doing this all over again...when she arrived in her class a few other kids were there aswell..good thing she came when she did there were only a few back seat desks left.
Sal got out her notebook and begun writing and doodling... Hoping today would go by fast. |
They'd fill the open air. . . .
Seth stared out the window until the bell rang. He hadn't paid attention at all, but he'd catch up later. Looking around the emptying classroom, the teen saw one other student. Sal. They'd been going to school together ever since they were in elementary class - which was where Seth had first seen her as pretty. He had had a crush on Sal for years . . . but had been unsure if he should mention it to her. Slowly getting up, the boy stepped up beside her desk and peered over her shoulder, watching her doodle for a few moments. Just by stepping up next to the girl, he felt his emotions shoot sky-high - just like when he was surrounded by fireflies a night. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he looked closer at what she was drawing. "Hey there," he said as he looked at her work. |
she looked up and closed her book "hey Seth" she said Sal has know him for years and never really spoke to one another. He never came to talk to me before so it was a bit strange.
"How are you?" Sal asks It sounded kinda bitchy but she really didn't mean it that way. Sal indicated for Seth to sit in the desk next to her, being polite. Sal wouldn't mind having company anyways so why not someone shes known? |
Alex ran into his classroom. He had just transferred into this school and was still getting used to the switch in time zones. H heard some students giggle at him as the teacher started to scold him. he totally ignored the teacher and looked around the classroom. when he saw the pond he remembered the fireflies at his old house and how the covered the yard in the summer. he sighed wishing he could see them again.
|
Leave teardrops everywhere. . . .
"I'm doing good," Seth replied, taking his lip piercing between his teeth. A bit at a loss for what to say, the teen sighed. "Do you like fireflies?" The question was completely random, but he felt good asking it. It would get his courage up a bit if he knew her answer. Seth thought about how incredibly sorrowful he'd felt before he'd seen the pond behind his house, before he'd seen the fireflies. He really didn't know why he'd asked Sal about the glowing bugs, but it felt right at the time. Glancing over, he saw the new kid stumble into the room. Even though class had just ended, a few other students laughed at his tardiness. Seth frowned, shaking his black hair out of his face. "Hey!" he called, motioning for the boy to join them. |
Alex started to walk over to the boy that had motioned him over. his face was red with embarrassment still with a few kids still laughing at him. When Alexander got to them he smiled a nervous smile and said " Hi" rubbing the back of hid head and laughed at how weird he must be acting.
|
fierflies? "Well, yes I like them" I say with a smile. "do you?" I ask back.
when the new kid came in I felt bad for him...everyone laughed at him..poor kid..when The kid came over I introduced myself "Im Sal" I say "short for Sally" I smile at the new kid. and then smile at Seth, who was fiddiling with his pircing whic I found to be kinda hot actually. |
" yeah my name is Alexander but most call me alex"he said shyly. then stared at the window hoping for the school day to be over soon. he wanted tos see the campus at night time and see if it was really cool. he also hoepd fireflies would be here so he could see them once again. alexander sighed without realizing it.
|
"Nice to meet you alex" I say and notice he seems uncomfurtable.."if you want..you can hang out with me and seth..we could uh you know..miss class" I suggest with a smirk looking at seth and alex, my smirk was a somewhat flirtatouse/suddictive type of smirk, which Sal did when she wanted something.
"you up for it?" Sal asks |
" sure why not. i'll just say i got lost. and if a teacher or an adult ask why we aren't in class, just say that you guys were getting me for class." Alex said wondering what her smirk meant. it wasn't the normal smirk that someone does. it was weirder and more emotion was in it. he though abotu ti dumbfounded.
|
Alex looked at me like he was confused I giggle "come on guys lets go" I get up and grab their hands and we walk in the crowed of students and slipped past everyone and headed outside.
I didnt know where we were going but I didnt care, I just wanted out of that damn school. [[ i swicthed to 1st person didnt I? LOL OPPS SORRY!!]] |
(( lol just don't do it again! ))
Alex was dragged outside with no warning. he caught his breathe because he forgot to breathe when he was being pulled. Is there a river or pond somewhere around here?" if there is i would like to look at it." Alexander said looking up at the clouds hoping there was one nearby. Alexander yawned to, he needed oxygen to his brain. |
You'd think me rude. . . .
Seth smiled and nodded. Not that he enjoyed ditching class, but he had a free block the next period anyway. The teen also fought back a smile when Sal had said "me and Seth". It was unusual, this string of events. And to think - all these years he had been to timid to talk to her. Looking back to Alex, Seth extended his hand. "As Sal just mentioned, I'm Seth." His hands bore fingerless gloves that covered his pale skin up to his elbows, and his black t-shirt was a bit wrinkled - not what you'd want to wear when you were making a first impression. Standing up, Seth met Sal's eyes and smiled. That was when she leapt up and grabbed both boy's hands, dragging them through the hallways. Seth stared at her hand clenched around his, his mind numb. When he finally did speak, he did so loudly. "Trying to make us die from all this running?" It was then that Alexander asked his question about bodies of water. Seth glanced at him, pondering mentioning the pond behind his house. Blowing his black hair out of his face, he looked over at Alex. "There's a pond out back at my place. Maybe we can all head there sometime. . . ." He brightened, squeezing Sal's hand. "How about tonight? It's amazing out there in the dark." |
Alex's eyes widened with a bit of excitement. " really that would be sweet!" he said thinking about fireflies yet again. he kind of noticing Seth and Sal were having a kind of moment so he said. " I'll be right back i am going ahead a bit" Then he walked ahead giving them a space for talking.
|
[[ will do!!]]
when Alex walked ahead of us Sal turned to Seth" That would be awesome! How about I just come home form school with you?" Sal asked wide eyed and excited. Sal then noticed he was squeezing her hand..a bit hard.."umm..that hurts.." Sal says with a smirk. |
"Oh," Seth said, loosening his killer grip. "Sorry 'bout that." He grinned as Alex stepped ahead of them. "And coming home with me sounds like a good idea. I mean, after school. I have to stop by the cafe after my last class and pick up some coffee for my mom." Seth fingered his piercing with his free hand, considering. "If you stay outside while I bring the woman her drink, we can head to the pond right after." He turned his blue gaze back to Sal, quirking a pierced eyebrow. "How 'bout it? We can grab some coffee before heading over to the pond."
|
"great I cannot wait!" Sal says..and smiles at Seth who was very handsome when you thought about it. She loved his lip ring. " I love coffee" Sal says dumbfounded.
"er--where should I meet you after school" it would be a good Idea to know that sal thought. she didnt seem to let go of his hand even though there was no need to hold hands..if that made sense...wow sal mind was turning to mush in seconds! |
But I would just stand and stare.
Seth grinned, and pulled Sal along with him. "Coffee it is. We should meet in front of the school; on the steps." Moving so both of his gloved hands grasping her one, the teen pulled her over to his car. His blue eyes locked on Sal's face, and he raised his brows. She was a pretty little thing, that was for sure. Reaching up, he brushed a strand of her hair back from her face. Leaning down, he planted a kiss on her cheek. Before she could react, Seth looked around for their other companion. "Hey Alex!" he called, nodding him over. "Let's take my car. If we're still planning on skipping, that is. If not, we can all just hang out here until next class." |
Before Sal could do anything Alex was heading there way, Sal cheeks turned a light pink.
a boy never has shown affection toward her like that--sweet. Normally guys just slap her ass or whistle, but Seth? He was something else.. |
Kayla was seated on the hood of her smoking her seconde cigerette. She needed a break from her math teacher before she said something that would end in a date with the principle. A distant mumur brought her out of our thoughts. She looked up though her thick bangs and a few cars down she could see a guy with a few piercing kiss some chick.
"Wow love is in the air." She recognize the two teens. She had seen them around school a few times but she couldn't remember seeing them together. She just shrugged and just went back to smoking her cig. She heard them call someone named Alex and her curiosity got the best of her again. She looked and saw someone she never seen before. 'He must be a new kid' She thought to herself. She would definately remember his face. "Wow the new kid is already skipping on the first, He's got guts." She spoke outloud, then she ran a hand through her staight, black hair and began walking back towards the school. |
