For a long time, Tala remained in a state of shock. After managing to remove the biter from her arm in a very violent manner, the intern had slipped down to the floor with her back against the bar. She hoped none of the flying imps would notice her. All she could do was cradle her bleeding arm as she watched other people, no, other creatures clean up the now damaged bar. While most of them looked human enough others had long nails, fangs, scales, and even horns. She couldn't believe why she had never noticed the horns before. She watched as a pale woman walked into the bar, unfazed by the scene and casually sat with two people. One of them was also deathly white and the other...for a moment the other seemed green. Tala blinked and took a look at the boy again. This time he looked normal, blond hair, blue eyes. "Maybe I'm hallucinating?" she muttered to herself and putting an unbloodied hand to her head to check if she had hit her head sometime ago. Finding neither blood nor lump to suggest a head injury, the med student could only look around wide eyed once more. She looked up at the woman who was sitting beside her before the events began and was still sitting their with a calm, if not tired, look on her face. "Excuse me, what's going on?" she asked in an uncertain voice. As with before, she thought she saw the dark eyed woman's hair with a golden green hue before it returned to a normal look by human standards.

-as raina resumed her position at the bar she looked down in surprise when she relized that she had gotten splashed on. looking around trying to find out who and when it had happened she spied a human down on the ground craddling her arm.- "hmn dear child please come up here looks like an imp bit you" -was being a little careless of my words but with the medicine i was going to give her she would never remember this interesting night nor would she have the imp bite to help her. inspecting the wound i reach into my pants and pull out a skinny and tall bottle of fluid. holding it out under her nose i i let her breathe it in her sneeze letting me know it was going to work. i then dribble a small bit of a flaky substance from another bottle i pulled out of seemingly midair onto her arm muttering lightly as it sinks into her skin. watching it heal without a trace i smile politely.- "there isnt that better?" the medicine i had caused her to breathe in would work when she fell asleep causing her to think that this was all just a weird dream. we continued to talk my attention mostly focused on the table where a third vampire had joined them, this one looking like a young boy even by normal standards.-



-sitting down i watch as the femalevampire reached behind her and picked out another bottle of beer before chugging it down. "spring cleaning?" -i raise my eyebrows a bit of humor showing through- " i would have thought itd be a sort of private thing but," -shrugs- "im not that up to date on the newest trends from the cities. so i am to assume that you are the ones i was suppose to meet?" -at the affirmitive nods i sit back and relax, but only slightly.- "then shall we?" - my attention is diverted momentarily as i catch a whiff of the two bottles the elf to my left had opened. as i recognize what the scents indicated i freeze my breathing and use just motions to indicate answers to the questions being asked of me when i could.-

Nihm looked around and shook her head. What was happening to the world. Maybe it was just this week and next week will be better. She sipped the beer, enjoying the takes of the grain used to make it (...I actually have no idea about beer lol) as she gazed around, noticing the human who got bit Well....thats not good she thought to herself as she watched the other help the girl.

[Tala's going to be in for a shock when she wakes up with no memory of the night before :lol:]

The med student could not believe her eyes when the wound on her wrist suddenly vanished without a trace. "Hey, how...? How'd you do that?" she asked the woman with glasses [she has glasses on right?] who had healed her. Tala had only seen such fast acting medicine once before. Back in the days of her childhood. What her grandparents had given her when she had gotten slashed by a dark creature had similar effects. It healed her wound quickly. No scar, no trace. But she had long since dismissed it as a dream. It seemed so long ago, like a distant haze. Unfortunately for her, this odd night will also be nothing more than a dream once she falls asleep.

"You know what Hild?! If you really didn't like how I handle things, you could have done this job yourself!" the valkyrie yelled into her phone over the pleas for mercy from her latest victim. "Shut up!!" she said, kicking the half-elf in the gut. "Look," she calmly continued on the phone, "My job is hunting down a certain deranged shapeshifter before he kills anymore innocent people. NOT picking up your slack!" The annoyed enforcer of the law looked out the window. The rest of the human world below remained oblivious to the menaces of the supernatural. "Well then, ask Brunhild. No, I don't know where she went." Eir scoffed and turned back to the bruised man on the floor. "Alright, alright, bye. Love ya sis." With that she hung up and picked up the quivering man. "Sir, I don't want to have to hurt you," she began, although it was apparent that she already did, "But I need information on a manticore that's been eating some idiotic, helpless mortals. So would you please tell me what you know? Before I break your other arm." The last words she ended with a false sweetness as thick as honey.

"The manticore?" he stuttered, "I don't know any-" The blue haired man wasn't able to continue his defense since Eir had increased the pressure on his neck. "I-I swear, I don't know any manticores! But my friend says he saw one in the subways." The halfling struggled at the woman's grip. The valkyrie considered this information for a moment before finally letting him go.

"Thanks for your help, kind citizen." she sarcastically said and grabbed his broken arm causing the poor man to shriek in pain. He believed that she would rip off his dangling forearm but he was stunned and confused when the pain slowly disappeared. Braving to look down, he saw that his arm was now healed. He was about to look up at the woman before a strong boot came flying to his face.

"Goodnight." was the woman's parting word before she left the small apartment and the unconscious informant behind.

[By the way, does anybody else have any crimes that they are hiding? Just in case Eir might be the only valkyrie in the story that ever shows up, I want a way for her to be able to bother most people. And the manticore she's hunting isn't necessarily DemonCat's manticore but it could be if she wanted. I didn't describe the other valkyries I named just in case someone was planning on using them :)]

"its a special herabal remedy of mine" -i say as i put the vials back into the vials and readjusting my glasses (yes she has glasses theyre part of her glamour though thyey are real just plain glass lens). turning towards the human female i catch the female fae watching us and smile slightly at her.- " were do you work young miss?" -able to smell the vampires smell, claying and rotten, it covered her about half as much as it covered the other two vampires behind me. glancing over there once more i stare slightly at the male thinking that he looks familar.-

((my elf one does not have any crimes but my vampire is under the suspicion for killing her master and revealing her presence in the munt and revenge on the one who killed him.))

"Uhm, I work at the Indigo Tavern." she began, not wishing to say just yet that she did the dishes. "But I'm also interning at Rois Rouges. It's a bloodbank." The sound of her own voice felt so surreal at this moment. 'Herbal remedy huh?' she thought, 'It's probably not the herbs we use in salads and dressings.' Then a thought formed in her head. Crazy as it sounded to her and as crazy as this night had become, she had to try it. It could be the only chance she'd ever get. "Hey, you said you made that remedy by yourself right? Can I..."
'Here's where I get called a weirdo.' she began to think.
"Can I be your apprentice?" Tala kept a straight face on when she asked this. She wanted to show how serious she was even if she felt it was the strangest question she had ever asked. "Or assistant, whichever. I'd really like to learn how to make remedies like that. I study herbalism in my free time and I've never heard of a mixture that heals as fast as yours did."

-the elf smiles gently laughter in her eyes- " yes i said it was an herbal remedie and it doesnt surprise me that you havent heard of it its my own personal remedy but," at this i gently point to where she had gotten healed by the same thing before- "it looks like you have already recieved a sampling of my wares no? as to being my aprentice im sorry but i cannot unless you want to ask one of those vampires over there to turn you you would not live long enough to learn the recipe." stops for a moment to recall what she had said- "Rois Rogues? only piece of advice i can give you is to not look any of the customers in the eyes more then one of them be happier with the livng then the dead"

"I don't think I've met you before today so I'm not sure about having tried any of your wares before." Tala replied uncertainly. "But...My grandparents...." The med student wasn't sure how to put it. "Well, I guess you can say, my family isn't all that normal. At least my grandparents weren't. They were healers too. In fact, most of my family's in the medical field." It was only now that she realized the strangeness of her family's career choices. Even she was pulled towards the healing arts, albeit a different and ancient form of it.
"Well thanks anyway." she said to the elf, doing her best not to think about the vampire comment. "And thanks for the medicine." Tala added, pointing to where her wrist. She carefully made her way out of the bar, careful not to step on broken glasses and being extra careful not to stare at some of the other patron's inhuman appearances. 'At least I wasn't called a freak.' she thought rather dazedly. 'Maybe I'm just really tired. I'm not thinking straight. Everything will be fine in the morning, right?' The sound of a cat's meow made the black haired girl jump. She couldn't have wanted to find a cab any more than she did now. 'Right?'
The blood bank intern was more than relieved when she did get a taxi home a few minutes later.
