He shook his head, then stood up as well. "I'll go have a few words with him." He looked at the rest of the guys around the table. "Remember what I told you, and thanks a bunch. I owe you guys." He headed off towards the Office.

Kevin looked up at Alex, to see if she'd stay or go with him.

Alex looked down at Kevin then up at Kenshin again. She quickly ran after him and walked to the office with him.
"What are you gunna say?"

Kenshin shrugged, gritting his teeth. "I don't know yet. I'm just going to find out why he spread it, and what business it is of his to talk about it behind my back." He cracked his knuckles as he walked down the hall.

Alex nodded and stopped him for a second. "Just don't loose it. You can't screw up, we're already suspended. I'm kind of glad about it but my parents aren't." she said as she hugged him. She grabbed his hand and walked down to the office so he couldn't crack his knuckles anymore. They got to the office and she slowly opened the door. She saw Mike and glanced up at Kenshin.

Kenshin nodded as he entered the office. He looked over at Mike, who was sitting at a desk off to the side. He arched his back slightly as he stormed over to him. "What the hell is your problem?"

Mike looked up, seeing Kenshin, and frowned. "Hey Ken, what do you..." He trailed off as he spotted Alex. "Oh, that."

Kenshin pointed a finger at him. "It was you, wasn't it? You're the one who spread around that we were sleeping together."

Mike shrugged, smirking. "Not really. I Just spotted you guys at the Drive-In, and it seemed pretty clear how close you guys were." He stood up, straightening the pile of papers he'd been working on.

Kenshin's eyes flared as he moved a step forward. "What in the HELL gives you the right to tell anyone about that?"

Mike shrugged. "Nothing. But that's how it goes. I tell someone, who tells someone else, who tells a few people, and soon the whole school knows. That's how a rumor works."

Kenshin looked about ready to hit him.

Alex smirked and sighed.
"Well, then a rumor could also work so everyone knows you collect beanie babies." she hissed.

Kenshin closed his eyes to calm himself down, breathing as regularly as he could, while Alex took over.

Mike frowned at her a moment, then sighed. "Alright, fine. I'm sorry, alright? It was stupid of me, and it won't happen again. There, you happy?" He crossed his arms.

"Hmmm...not quite. You WILL tell everyone that knows about it that you were just making things up." she patted his head and walked away.

Mike opened his mouth to object, but Kenshin's eyes shot open and he clenched his raised fist in Mike direction.

Mike put up his hands in defense. "Alright, Alright Alright, you guys win. I'll see to it that it's quashed. Look, man, I am sorry, ok?"

Kenshin regarded him a moment, then nodded. "I'll forgive you... if you get people to leave us alone."

Mike held out his hand. "You bet, buddy." Kenshin looked at it a moment, then shook it, before heading off after Alex.

"That went well," she said, feeling slightly better about herself now. She turned around and sighed. "Ready to go explain to our parents about what happened?"

Kenshin grimaced. "Yeah, we'll have to deal with it. I hope my dad's busy, my mom will take it much better then he will." He followed Alex, sighing.

((Anthony? And I kinda meant it's time to go...home...))

"Well who's parents are we telling first?" she asked as she walked to her locker.

((Doh, Anthony's a character in a different RP. His story's been on my mind recently xD. And they had to call their parents from the principal's office, remember?))

He thought about it for a moment. "I guess we'll do yours, if you don't mind." He had put all his stuff into his car, instead of his locker, when he had retrieved it, so he was ready to take her when she was ready to go.

"Not at all," Alex lied as she shook noticeably in her stick-thin body. "Wanna get me a Dew?" she asked as she handed him a dollar.

He took it, looking at her a moment, then stepped forward and hugged her. "Thanks, for sticking with me." He looked at her. "Everything will be all right, I promise."

Alex was slightly shocked at the moment he picked for this, but she liked it. "You're welcome, and I'm always here if you need me." she said as she hugged him back. She kissed him quickly then ran to her locker to grab her stuff.

Kenshin headed to the front door, waiting for Alex. He spotted Mike leaving the office, and nodded to him. Kenshin nodded back, then looked outside. The sunny weather didn't reflect his mood very well, but the clouds in the distance, over the mountains, seemed to forewarn of the things to come.

Alex sighed as she put her books in the bag. She threw it over her shoulder and walked outside to the car. She sat down inside and put the seat belt over herself. "I hope my dad's home. He'll be proud of me for fighting, and won't tell my mom." she said.

((I am assuming she left past Kenshin))

Kenshin nodded, putting on his own seat belt. "If my mom is home, she will probably forget to tell my dad, and I can get off with her just being mad at me." He started the car and drove towards her house.

((What?))

Alex smiled and laughed as she said, "I'm just glad I have somebody else to blame it on." she paused. "Just kidding. I'm glad I have somebody with me though." she said.

((Nevermind))

He paused for a moment, then smiled and shook his head. "Well, I'm glad if I had to get kicked out for school for beating up someone for saying something about anyone, it was you." He smiled over at her, knowing how confusing that probably sounded.

Alex thought about it for a moment and smiled.
"Thanks hun." she leaned over and kissed his cheek.

He smiled at her, then focused on the road. A few minutes later they pulled up at her place. He frowned at the front door, then turned to look at her. "You ready?" He asked, turning off the engine.

She sighed and nodded. "I think so."

Kenshin nodded, looked at her for a long moment, then kissed her, passionately, for a long moment. He smiled when he finally pulled away. "For luck." He undid his seat belt and got out of the car.
