He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her as he pulled her close to him. He kept her close for a few moments before breaking way to breath. He smiled as he closed his eyes, waiting a moment before opening them again. "I love you, Alex."

"I love you too, baby." she whispered in his ear.

He kissed her again, smiled, then started kissing her neck gently as he reached behind her, grabbing the bottom of her shirt and pulling it up slowly. He pulled away from her long enough to pull it up over her head and off of her, tossing it aside.

Alex pulled Kenshin's shirt off at the same time, not wasting any time. She kissed down his neck, back up, then to his ear. She lightly nibbled his ear and whispered in it, "I'm hoping you brought one, because that was my last." Alex looked at him for a split second then kissed him passionately.

He pulled away, then nodded, and pulled out his wallet. He had packed one with him in case they decided to do something while away from his house. He set it on the bedside table, then tossed his wallet over his shoulder and started to kiss the base of her neck as he undid her pants, pushing her back against the bed.

Alex slid her hands up his chest and wiggled off her pants as she undid his. Later: Alex smiled at Kenshin in his arms and sighed as she rubbed her eyes. |
Kenshin closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her, then smiled and kissed her cheek. He slipped off of her and sat up, then looked down in surprise. "Uh-oh."

Alex sat up and opened her eyes after rubbing them. "Uh-oh?" she asked.

He looked down at his condom, which was empty, then up at her in slight horror. "It looks like it broke."

Alex cleared her throat and sighed. "Well, we'll just have to hope it wasn't effective on me." she said, keeping her cool although she was panicking.

He nodded, also panicking slightly. He stood, and paced once, then pulled on his underwear. "Well, is it, you know, not safe for you right now. It's not, you know, guaranteed to take right now, is it?" He chewed on his bottom lip, looking over at her.

"Well, I'll wait a few days, then I'll take it...just pray to God that it'll be negative." she said nodding as she picked up her clothes.

He nodded, breathing quickly. He realized his heart was racing and he sat down, looking at his feet. "Should, like, go get that pill, or something? Do they come over the counter, or do you need a prescription?" He stood up and paced a little more. "Should we even think about that?"

"I'd have to have my mom take me..." she said quietly.

Kenshin bit his lip, then shook his head. "I'm sure we're fine. Lets just, you know, calm down and relax. I'm sure we have nothing to worry about." He walked back to the bed and hugged her. "It'll be ok. I promise."

She nodded and sighed. "I sure hope so."
|
He sat there in silence for a few moment, then let go of her and sat back. "So, um, what should we do now?" He looked at her, wanting to do something to take his mind off of the situation.

Anna rubbed her eyes again and yawned. "Watch Psyche?"

He smiled and nodded to her. "Sure, lets do it." He got up and put in the first season, disk one, and played it. He hopped back onto the bed and got close to Alex, putting an arm around her.

Alex eventually fell asleep. She had a dream that she was pregnant and her mother shunned her for it.

Kenshin dozed off as well. Before he could dream, he was awoken by his cellphone vibrating. He saw it was from home, looked at Alex, and decided to let her sleep. He wrote her a quick note telling her he had to run home, then dressed and left, leaving her the DVDs if she wanted to keep watching them. With that, he headed home.

Alex woke up that morning, took a shower, put on her clothes and did her makeup. "Hey ;]" she texted Kenshin. |
Kenshin rolled over, grunting and fished phone the vibrating phone. He finally grabbed it after knocking his radio/alarm off the table, and looked blearily at the screen. He smiled, and flipped it open, typing "Mornin'. Sleep well?"

"Yeah. What are we up to today?" she said back. She walked downstairs and watched tv on the couch.

He got up, pulling on some clothes and heading for the shower. He stopped and answered the text. "How about my place, more Psych, and maybe something else l8r?" He walked into the bathroom and started to brush his teeth.
