Alex laid down on her stomach and crossed her lower legs in the air as she set her chin on her fist. "I'm fine. Yourself?" she said as she smiled, knowing he didn't actually mean it.

He smiled at her. "Alright." He gritted his teeth, pressing his tongue against his closed teeth. "It's just, you know, about yesterday." He looked down at the bed. "I've been trying to act normal, but I've been worried about it since last night." He looked up at her again.

Alex smiled a little bit, even though she too was panicking on the inside. "Hun, I'm taking the test soon, we'll be fine. I promise." she said quietly.

He nodded, looking down at the bed again, then moved his eyes up to look at her. "All right. You're right, we'll be fine." He leaned forward and kissed her, then sat up and looked over at the TV. "So, more Psych?"

Alex shook her head. "I have business to attend to, I'll be back in about half an hour." she stood up and threw on his jacket, which she still had, and kissed his cheek. "I love you." she said as she shut his door. She ran to the drug store and bought a pregnancy test. She took it in the bathroom, a little after that, you could hear her yell "SHIT!" through the whole store. She threw it in the garbage, hoping it was off, and drove back to Kenshin's, knowing she wasn't going to tell him, to let him find out for himself. She walked into the front door and looked around. "Babe?" she called.

Kenshin nodded to her as she stood up. "That's fine, Alex. I'll still be here." He smiled as she left. "Love you too." He got up, and threw on a shirt, went downstairs. He looked up as he heard her coming in. "I'm in the kitchen, making some lunch." He had made some Grilled Cheese with slices of Ham, an offered a plate towards her as she came in. "So, have fun where ever you were?" He stopped as he spotted her. "Are you ok, you look pale."

Alex sighed as she sat down, she knew it was rather obvious that she was stressed. "That's what a girl wants to hear...I'm fine." she shook her head and thanked him for asking, and looked up at him. "Party at my house tonight." |

He frowned, still holding the sandwich. "Right, sorry. Um, sure! I could use a party." He offered the plate again. "Want a sandwich? I have a few, if you're hungry." He set it down, either he would eat it or she would. "Or something to drink?" He asked as he walked towards the fridge. |
Alex looked over at him. "Orange juice please?" she asked with a slight smile. She leaned back in her chair, wondering how Kenshin would take it when he found out.

He nodded, taking out some Orange Juice and pouring her a glass. He walked over to her, and set it down on the table, then pulled out a chair and sat himself. "So, party at you place? What should I bring?"

Alex took some sips of the orange juice. "Swim trunks and anything that'll fuck up my body." she said with a smile, as she attempted a miscarriage.

He nodded. "I'll see what I have around here. Dad's got some good stuff, and mom likes to drink heavy after cases, so they never know when I swipe stuff." He stood up again, and headed to a cabinet in the kitchen, and opened it. Inside was various types of Alcohol and a Mini-fridge. "My Mom thinks if she put the Alcohol in somewhere besides the fridge, I won't find it or something. Now, lets see what we have on tonight's menu." He started going through the bottles, and cracked open the mini-fridge to peak around it as well.

"Ooh! Ben and Jerry's!" she said as she pointed to the bottle. She sat down on the chair she was at before.

He raised an eyebrow, then smiled, and went back to digging. "I'll be sure to bring that along." After a few minutes, he had a couple of drinks laid out on the table. "Well, these should be good, and about all I can take without drawing suspicion." He set them into a bag carefully, then looked over at her. "So, should we head to your place and see what we'll need to set up, or should we get some people together to get ready for the party? Can't have a party with just you and me..." He thought about it for a moment, then smiled. "Well, WE could, but most people can't." He winked at her as he walked over.

"Yes, that we could. Uhm...I'll text people and tell them." she said as she slid her phone open. She texted every person in her contacts list except icky adults and creepy people she didn't like and looked up at him. "Okay...I got 127 people so far..." she said.

Kenshin pulled out his own phone, texting it up as well. "I got about 67 and counting." He tucked the phone into his pocket, then lifted the drinks bag. "I'll go put these into your car. Is it unlocked?" He started walking to the door, hoping it was. He didn't want this stuff sitting around in bags, in case he forgot it and didn't make it back before him mom came home. It would be very hard to explain why he had bagged up alcohol to her.

Alex nodded and looked over at him. "Yeah." she said. She waited until after Kenshin went outside and screamed, "Damn it Alex! What the fuck is wrong with you?" She tried not to cry, and was successful.

Kenshin went out to her car, and set the bottles into the back seat, on the floor so no one peaking in would notice. He sighed, standing. He didn't normally like to drink very much, he knew it hurt his judgment, but he felt that with what all was going on with him now, he would need it. He walked back in and put on a smile, hiding his worry. "Well, looks like a lot of people in the party mood. My phone's still shaking. So, shall we head over there?" He headed towards the stair to go get his trunks.

Alex bared a smile on her face and nodded. "Yeah." she said as she walked to her car. She hopped in and started it. She blasted the radio and ran her hands through her hair as she waited.

Kenshin grabbed his trunks, and the snacks she had brought over, and then went back downstairs and hopped into the car with her. "Alright, lets get going." He leaned back in her chair, and closed his eyes, just wishing this week, which he had kind of looked forward to, would now just end.

Alex drove to her house and by the time she got there, there were already people at the door. She walked inside and let them in, hiding most of the liquor.
((Okay, so he gets drunk, how about she doesn't cuz she doesn't want a miscarriage, then she asks him to grab her swimsuit and his trunks from her room, he takes too long so she goes to check, and he's with another chick?)) |
((I was thinking more like he gets drunk, whether she does or not, and in the morning, when everyone who's still around come to, he wakes up with a girl that isn't her just as she's checking rooms to see who she needs to kick out before her parents get home. I am fine with yours, though, if you want. Just set the time for the party as before the morning, and we'll go with yours, or have it be overnight, and we'll do mine. Or, if you have another idea, I'm open to it.))
Kenshin followed her in, nodding to a few of the guys he'd invited as he held the door while Alex took the booze to the kitchen. When the people who were already here finally got inside, he closed the door and went to find her. "Ok, so, what are we looking at, time wise, for this party?" |
"Well, I'll kick everyone out at around 2:00, then in the morning I'll kick the hiders out." she said as she hid the alcohol under the table. Most people had brought their own anyway.

He nodded, then kissed her forehead. "Well, lets set this party up!" He turned around, then headed into the main room and hunted down Kevin and Josh, who had both brought a bottle of Rum each. They struck a captain's pose, then held the bottles up and cheered. Kenshin motioned them to put them away until the party was in full swing, then sat down on the couch and turned on the TV, flipping channels till he hit the Football Game, figuring that would be as good as anything to watch while the party came alive.
He got up and went back to Alex. "Hey, I'm gonna start a collection for some pizzas. What are you feeling, and where's the closest one?" He leaned against the nearest wall, running a hand through his hair casually. ((Hey, whatever happened to that pic of Kenshin and Alex you were thinking of drawing :D)) |

"Well, I'm feeling Sammy's, it's right down the street." she said as she threw a bucket at him for the money. |
