Alex was tearing up, but she wouldn't dare show she was crying. She waited until he was done drinking, and kissed him passionately. "I love you so much. Somehow, not a wrong word comes out of that mouth." she said. She poked him gently and smiled. "And there's always next year for prom." she said.

He smiled as she poked him, and kissed her again with the same passion she had just displayed. "Well, I can wait if you can." He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to him and smiling as he kept his arms around her.

Alex just sat and hugged him, loving every second of it. She let go of him and shrugged. "I still have my dress, but I don't exactly fit into it right now..." she said.

He nodded, then looked over at the clock. "Well, at least you will be able to by next year, huh?" He looked back, smiled, then stretched his arms and back, still sitting with her.

Alex nodded and laughed a little. "Hopefully. Ken...what do you think your dad would do if he found out about...this?" she asked as she looked at her stomach, then back up at him.

Kenshin stiffened slightly, frowning. "I honestly don't know. We've kept it from him so long, it'd be even worse now for him to find out." He hung his head. "He's got a lot of people who hate him, and anything they could do to ruin his career they would. If they found out about this, it could cost him, and then us, a lot. Mom might even suffer, depending on what cases she is on." He looked at her. "Still, that's my fault. If this somehow leads to something against my father, I'll take whatever punishment he dishes out for me." He wrapped his arms around her again.

Alex nodded and embraced him the same. "Thank you, Ken. You don't know how much easier this whole process is with you here." she said. "I don't know what I'd do without you..." she said, still hugging him.

((Probably not. I don't have a really defined character for Kenshin's father, so I've sort of left him out as much as I could))
He held her, nodding. "I'm just glad I'm with you, and you're with me." He kissed her forehead, then smiled, and kissed her deeply on the lips, holding her to him. |
"Wanna go somewhere?" Alex asked after a long moment of silence. She knew his father's rivals and enemies had a chance of seeing them, but those chances were small.

He shook his head, smiling. "Nah, not right now. Even if we had somewhere to go, the last thing we need is someone from school spotting you with me and our little secret." He patted her belly gently, then sat back. "No, I thought we could watch a movie or something over here. Got anything good?"

Alex smiled and nodded, grabbing a small wooden bin. "Here," she handed them to him. "Look through those, they're all pretty recent."

He nodded, taking them and looking through them. "Which would you prefer, Action, comedy, or an Action Comedy?" He glanced up quickly with a smile before looking down again.

"Comedy please." Alex said as she smiled. She walked in the kitchen with her glass and grabbed herself some more water and him another Dr. Pepper.

He nodded, setting a few aside as she left, and leaned back and waited for her to come out. "Which one would you like? I narrowed it down to three." He motioned to the three on her desk. |
Alex handed him the Dr. Pepper and tapped her fingers on the side of her glass. "Ooh, how about 'The Hangover'?" she asked. She nodded and sipped her water.

He nodded, smiling, and picked up the Dr. Pepper, which he set on a Coaster. He picked up the DVDs, putting the other two back into the box before taking 'The Hangover' and tossing it into the DVD player. "Cool. I don't think I've seen this one, so this will be fun." He sat down next to her, putting his arm around her and kissing her cheek while he reached for the remote.

Alex nodded and rested her head on his shoulder. During the movie, she laughed quite a lot, and when it was over, she looked outside and it was dark. "Won't your parents be wondering where you are?"

Kenshin laughed as well, resting his head against her head. After it was over, he looked up as well, then back at her. "I told my mom I'd be with you all day. If she needs me, she can call me on my cell." He checked his watch. "Still, I might have to go soon, if I can't stay over with you the night." He looked up at her, smiling.

"Remember who's house you're at." Alex smiled. "Of course you can stay over." she said. She kissed him gently and stood up. "If you want to." she joked.

He smiled, kissing her back, then stood up. "Ok, then. I'll let my mom know I'm staying over here." He pulled out his phone and dialed, walking off towards the kitchen.

Alex nodded and texted a few of her friends telling them that she was back but she had to keep a low profile until time passed. She laid down and yawned, quite tired from the recent drama.

Kenshin came back in, smiling. "It's cool. My mom say 'hi' and 'glad you're ok', by the way." He sat on the couch and kissed her again, then leaned back and finished off the last of his Dr. Pepper. "Well, what should we do now?"

"If it's okay with you, I'd like to go to bed. I'm quite tired because of the recent drama." Alex said. She yawned and stood up, pulling him into a random hug.

((Sorry I was gone for a bit. Not quite yet. I have one more thing planned before that. In a week or two, I'll have it happen, then she can have the baby sometime after that (or during, if you want))
He smiled, hugging her. "Alright, Alex. Do you mind if I stay up a bit longer? I'm not quite tired from the Dr. Pepper, and I don't want to keep you up with my moving around." |
