He helped her out and closed the door behind her, then headed inside.
The inside was decorated well. The main room had deep crimson carpets, with matching drapes and hangings. The sofa was gold colored, and extremely soft. Paintings, some candles, and a massive flat-screen TV took up much of the rooms walls, and a bookshelf with some classic and modern liturate sat in the corner. Another shelf held a collection of DVDs. "Come on in, make yourself at home. Want something to drink?" He motioned to the next room over, which was a kitchen. Black and White Checkerboard tiles, with Ebony and Gold countertops, and a Sleek Black Refrigerator, which he headed towards. |
The first thing she noticed was the checkerboard floor, which she adored. She smiled then looked up at him.
"Sure, why not?" |
"What would you like? I've got Water, Milk, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Limonade, and I can make a mean Hot Chocolate." He opened the fridge and started fishing around.

"Lemonade please."
She said quietly. |
Kenshin pulled out a Dr. Pepper and a Pitcher of Limonade, and poured her a glass. He put the pitcher back into the fridge and brought her the glass. "Here you go." He looked down the hall, then at the sofa. "So, what do you want to do now?"

"What have you got to do?"
she asked. She took a sip then looked up at him. |
He looked around. "Well, we have the TV here, and I have a pretty nice stereo system in my room. I know you were going to eat something back there, but if you're hungry we have some snacks in the kitchen. I have some video and board games, or we could just sit around. Whatever you want." He cracked open his Dr. Pepper, and took a sip.

"Crank the tunes!"
She said walking towards the living room. |
He flipped on the radio, heading to a rack smiling. "Well, do you want to listen to the Radio or my impressive CD collection?" He walked to the rack, and pulled back a cover. Inside, a massive CD collection was sorted Alphabetically by Artist. "Any preferance, or would you rather the radio?"

"Oh wow."
She said looking at the cd's. She pointed to the radio and hopped on the couch. |
He sat next to her, setting his Dr. Pepper on a table nearby. "So, um, what do you think?" He motioned around at the house.

"Way better than mine."
She said, leaning back. |
He smiled again, and leaned a little closer to her. "Well, at least you look like you're feeling better." He looked her over. "I did feel a little responsible for you getting hurt. If you hadn't been out this me, that wouldn't have happened."

She playfully hit his arm.
"I would have gone out there anyways and I'm just that much of a klutz." ((i totally forgot about that)) |

He mocked being mortally wounded by her punch, then smiled at her. "Well, I am still sorry. Though, I'm really glad I asked you out." He leaned against the coutch, watching her and smiling. "You look beautiful, by the way. I don't think I mentioned that tonight." |
She put her right arm on the back of the couch and smiled.
"Thank you. You look handsome, as always." She pulled out her half ponytail and put the holder on her arm. |
He smiled at her, and sat with the music playing in the background. He leaned forward a little more, looking deep into her eyes. "Well thank you."

'Little close huh?'
But, she liked it so she did nothing. "You're welcome sir." She said with a grin. |
He looked her over with his eyes, then looked into hers again. "You know," he said, in a softer tone, "I never did give you that kiss." He looked at her, but didn't lean closer in case she didn't approve.

"No...no you didn't."
She said shaking her head with a smile. |
He smiled as well, leaning in a little more. He reached up and put his right hand gently on her left cheek, looking at her. "Better late then never?" He smiled a second, the moved a little closer, not quite kissing her yet, should she protest.

"Just kiss me."
She whispered. |
He did. He pulled her in gently, kissing her for just a moment, then pulled back slightly. He let out a small breath, then kissed her again, this time for more then just a moment. He put his arm around her, holding her close as her kissed her. Finally, he pulled back, smiling. "I should have done that 10 minutes ago." He joked quietly, looking deep into her eyes again.

She laughed a little.
"You should have done that yesterday." |
He laughed a little as well. "Now I wish I had." He leaned in, kissing her again. "Though, Now that I've started, I'm not sure you can get me to stop." He smiled, putting his other arm around her.
