Natali's cheeks where as red as the burning sunrise and she looked into his eyes. "Youre too nice... I shouldn't deserve you..." she whispered softly knowing it was true.

Simon smiled at her, "and I should be dead, but here I and it is all because of you. So in my oppinion you deserve everything."

Natali smiled sheepishly and realized everyone was still here and they weren't alone. She looked around and then lookedat the ground. "Sorry..." she said sheepishly.

"Huh? Okay, I have no idea what you're on about so I'm going to go back to revising." Alice said, sitting back down at the table where her books were. It was true she had no idea what was going on, but she could tell she was getting in the way of their love at least. Also, she didn't want them to mention her power any more as no one was meant to know so she was pretending the girl had never mentioned it. "You'd better get out of this school before the staff find you trespassing. Good luck to you, in... whatever it is that you're doing."

Natali knew when she wasn't wanted and it seemed like this was one of those times. She looked at the girl apollogetically and shook her head. "Sorry..." she said again and suddenly there was a crash just outside the room. "Electropath! Get down!" she said worriedly and threw herself into her friends as a bolt of electricity just missed them by inches.

Simon wrapped his arms around Natali and looked around. He glowed slightly as he stayed alert for anything else that might come into the room. He then looked over at the girl, "get out of here before they see you or else they might get you." he said and kept Natali close to him.

Natali clung to Simon as another blast destroyed a book case behind them. She quickly scrambled to her feet and grabbed the girl forcing her down as another blast just missed them. "You need to get out of here!" she hissed.

"No, you do. Get off me!" Alice said, shoving the girl off and standing up. "You brought them here. You can lead them away. Go."

Natali growled angerily as another blast came and jumped to her feet. "Ph yeah easy for you to say!" she hissed and dodged a bolt barely. Darkness suddenly gathered around her and she blasted back. The two forces clashed and neither let up the attack. Natali growled trying to hold her ground and held up her hands helping the darkness more. Suddenly another Electropath ran up and started blasting at te others. She deflected the blast with her one hand and nearly almost lost her control as the first electropath gave more power to his attack pushing her back. She returned to facing him with both hands and pushed back violently.

Simon growled and sent a wave of light towards the electropath. His wings had ripped his shirt off of him and he glowed wildly. He sent other blasts of light towards the other attackers and no one seemed to dare com close to him. he walked over to Natali and stood besides her. "if anyone dares try to hurt her again I will kill you." he said and you could tell that he ment it and the attacking stoped for a little while.

Natali stopped her attack and her breathing was heavy. She looked at the attackers wirily and couldn't look at Simon because he was shinning so brightly. She then saw one reach for a gun and she blasted them so hard they flew out the windows. All the windows in the library exploaded and surprised Natali threw up her hands. The shards stopped in mid air and fell harmlessly to the ground as she lowered her hands. "We should... Move." she said panting. For some reason she was much more drained then she would usually be and looked at the spot again. It seemed to have grown again and this scared her. Was it feeding off of her?!

Simon nodded and forced himself to get his glowing undercontrol. He then looked over at Chase, "get adri out of here." he said and chase nodded, picking up adri and getting out of there. Simon then looked at Natali and placed a arm around her, "you okay." he asked softly and wrapped a wing around her to keep her safe.

Natali relaxed slightly in Simon's warm imbrace and nodded silently. She tugged on her shirt revealing the spot and gasped. It had begun to blacken the skin around it. "Simon..." she whispered fearfully. She felt the horrible pain and she cringed. "Whats... Happening?" she whispered horrified.

Simon shrugged and placed his hand over top of it. "I have no idea but please let me take most of it." he said and slowly started to take some of it even as he said it. It hurt like hell but at least she wouldn't be as in much pain. He wanted her to be okay and if the darkness killed her it would kill him also. He did want her to die so he would take it away and let it kill him.

Natali grabbed his wrist and forced him to pull away. "Dont!" she choked in pain as tears slid down her cheeks. It hurt horribly. More then anything else on earth. "Dont... Don't touch it..." she whispered painfully backing up from him and holding her shoulder. She felt something wet on her hand and pulled it away to reveal blood. Shocked she looked down at the spot and sure enough it seemed to be causing her to bleed.

Simon looked at her worryed, "sorry" he said and then picked up a piece of his shirt and pressed it to the spot gently. He then kissed her cheek, "I just dont want you to be in pain." he said softly and knew that he had to go to the boss to get rid of it. He would do that once he knew that she was safe and no one would hurt her again.

Natali nodded knowing he didn't mean it. "I know...." she whispered painfully. "I don't think there's anything we can do.... It keeps growing." she said and swallowed hard. Her throat was extremely dry. "It seems to be... Feeding.... Off of me." she whispered knowing the thought was horrible. But what else would explain it?

Simon nodded slowly and then whispered softly, "I think I should go back to your boss and see if I can get him to take it off of you." he said softly and hoped that she didn't notice that he only said him. He didn't want the boss to get close to her at all and he would make sure that he didn't get his hands on her.

Natali looked up at him and nodded not noticing he had only said he would go. "Then we have to get some sort of gun or something.... We can't just rely on power the whole time..." she whispered. She was thinking fast of how to get her boss to set her free and take this spot off. It would be tricky. "We can do it. As long as we're together." she said bravely.

Simon looked at her and shook his head, "not we, I." he said softly and looked at her. "I am only going, if he sees you he will be able to control me and you by putting us in pain. The only way is for me to go alone, I can beat him I just know it but you have to stay here where it is safe." he said as he looked at her and knew that she wouldnt' agree with it.

"No!! Simon!! You'll get hurt! And you don't know the place!" she said fear rising in her throat. "You can't! I have to come with you!" she said looking into his eyes. She couldn't let him do this. What happened if he didn't come back? She would kill herself...

Simon saw the fear in her eyes and gently stroked her cheek. "and I cant let him get control of you. So i have to go by myself and I promise to come back. I will, I promise." he said as he looked at her and you could tell he was going to come back to her no matter what.

Numbly, Alice put the books back, picked up her bag and walked out of the library and out of the school. She stayed outside in a park all day, waiting.

Natali nodded and looked at him fighting her tears. "Ill be waiting... I trust you..." she whispered. She looked into his eyes praying she could have his confidence. She held onto him tighter and looked into his eyes.

Simon gently stroked her cheek and held her close to him. "and I will come back for you, I promise." he said as he looked at her and then kissed her deeply. He would come back to her no matter what, even if he was dieing he would come back to her.
