Callum chuckled as she led them down the stone path. He carried his camera equipment in his bag, which he had hurriedly stuff in. The expensive camera dangled around his neck. "As long as I don't get you into trouble," he said gently, "I'll follow you." Cal would have to say that this was the most fun he'd had photographing in forever. Usually it was just himself and nature, which was relaxing but it was nice to have a friend.

Amelia looked back at him still waking "dont worry you wont" she smiled she was having fun "okay so now if your following me I say we go take some pictures by the market it may not get the best pictures but I would like to see a picture of the racoons if you dont mind".

Serenity looked at him as he changed back. She couldnt help but stare at the amazing wonder that was in front of her. The pack joined them seemingly unharmed or at least not too bad. "I understand. Most humans would prolly want to kill you or even make you an outcast but theres too much love there for me. I would never do that to a race of any kind. Trust me" She said knowing he did. She just wanted to prove to the others that she was an ok human. She walked up to them and started to heal them with a small healing spell her sister had taught her as the first magic she ever learned. She made sure she healed all of them before returning to the pack. "Though they did attack us. They dont deserve to keep these." She said as she finished with the last one. Walking back to the pack serenity started to heal everyone there as well. The only one she couldnt heal fully was herself. She didnt know the advanced spell for that. It was suppose to be the next thing after learning the elements. Fire was her favorite riding alongside earth. Water and air were equal to her as the most fun spells she could do. "there. Everyones all healed." She said as the wolves who attacked them awoke where they had landed on the ground.

Alzeid smiled when she healed everyone, she really was the greatest. He loved her even more for this and kissed her cheek when she was done. "thanks." he whispered to her and then looked at the other wolves. THey where surprised not to be hurt and knew that the humans helped them. THey quickly turned back into there humans forms and bowed to her. "sorry for attacking you." the one said as he looked at her, "we just dont trust humans anymore." he said and Alzied smiled slight. "well you can trust her." he said and they nodded, "yes we can see that and we wish more humans where like her." he said as he looked at the two.

Serenity saw the smile Alzeid gave her. Her face lit up almost like a christmas tree as she smiled back. The other wolves had gotten up and were suprised at the lack of wounds. They bowed to her and she looked in confusion as well as curiosity as to why but she soon got her answer. They were apologizing. Alzeid had piped up after what they had said and the other wolves found they could trust her. She had also wished other humans were like her but that wasnt going to happen anytime soon from what she could tell. She got up on her tip toes to Alzeids ear and asked, "What should i do? I feel like im suppose to do something." She waited for her answer as she went back to her heels, keeping her balance.

Alzeid smiled and whispered back, "give them a nod of approvel if you understand and just say anything you feel like." he said and looked at her, "they know you can fight like a warrior now so they won't bug you anymore." he said as he looked at her and smiled. It was true, once someone showed that they where a reasonable warrior they got respect and they didn't bug you. But if you continued ot fight them even when they where down, like some humans do, then they would fight back ten times harder.

Serenity smiled and nodded her approval to the wolf pack. It was an interesting feeling when a wolf respects you more than an human. "So you said you were going to teach me about some of your wolf traits with your pack right Alzeid. Why dont they join us? Maybe we could play a few games or something. what do you guys think?" She posed the question to everyone. All the wolves and the werewolves. She just wanted to have a bit of fun. She didnt want to think about fighting at this time so she changed the subject a bit.

The other wolves smiled, "we would gladly help teach her with you." the big one said and looked like the leader, "oh and my name is Brigan and this is my pack." he said and the other werewolves nodded. Alzeid smiled and nodded, "I think that that is a great idea, with more wolves there can always be more fun and also more to learn." he said as he smiled at them and then looked at her. She had much to learnd and he was glad that she wanted to learn it all.

Serenity's smile got bigger as she showed her teeth then closed her mouth nodding her head in approval. She must have said something right. "Hi Brigan... and pack... You can call me Serenity. I think you know Alzeid and his pack." She said happily. She wanted to learn their ways. To feel what they feel in a sort of way. She just wanted to be able to understand them. "So whats first?" The question came out as she sat in the field of flowers next to the waterfall. It was even beautiful at night. This sight at least.

Alzeid smiled, "what do you want to know first? We can tell you how werewolves are different from wolves, how wolves hunt, how wolves feel and other things. Just pick one and we cant start." he said as he looked at her Brigan nodded, "yes, there is much to learn and any place is a good place to start so just pick one." he saida s he looked at her.

It was hard for Serenity to choose what she wanted to know. She sat crossedlegged and put her hand under her chin to think. Closing her eyes she cleared her mind. After her mind was clear she thought of the wolves and the first thing that came to mind was What was the oldest legend they had. She shook her head at the thought as she smiled. Even in a pack of wolves all she could think about was stories and games. "What is the oldest Legend in the Wolf world?" She asked with confidence after a couple minutes. She knew it would strike them as odd that a human would want to know their history or thier legends before learning physical or emotional traits but she couldnt help but ask.

Brigen looked surprised at her question but Alzeid smiled. "our oldest legend we have is of how we came to be like this. We have no clear way of knowing but storys say that the wolf god saw that humans where going to comsume the earth and forget about everything that is in nature. So to fix that he sent his children souls down into human babys. As the babys grew they where taught everything about the world by the humans but they always longed to go into the forest and they always said it was wrong to take the forest down. The adults never listend till the children turned into wolves when they turned a certain age. The adults where afraid of them and chased them off into the forest. They didn't dare go after since they thought that the new werewolves would eat them. So they left us and the forest alone. They never suspected that they would come back into there town. But as time passed some did while others left to go see the world. Storys of werewolves continued to lay around of us eating humans but none of it is true. All that we really want is to be like everyone else and for the forest to be safe." he said as he looked at her.

Louhi fidgetted in her seat. She hated boring parties like this! As soon as possible, she was going to escape here! And she was in a dress! Horror of horrors. She gritted her teeth though, and smiled and acted polite to everyone who talked to her. And where was her brother? She could use some relief from this dull affair. Even if they didn't always get along, at least he was a breath of sanity here. She sighed, and swung her feet under the table restlessly.

Serenity listened to the story with her eyes closed. It was almost as if the story were being absorbed into her being. When he ended she opened her eyes slowly. She now understood everything from the perspective of a wolf. She didnt really need to know the rest. It was all pretty much instinct. Wolves traveled in packs for safety from humans and to keep make sure the forest was kept safe. "That makes a whole lot of sense." She said enthusiastically. "If a god such as the wolf god sent down the souls of his children into the children of man, it would only be to show the true peace between man and wolf. Unfortunately it was misinterpretted by the humans so they were cast out. But in the process of being cast out the little wolves learned how to hunt in the pack they were in. The packs made it so that they could not only protect the secret of their kind but also each other. Thats also why you hunt in those packs. It makes it easier to catch your pray but not only that, it makes it so that you can protect eachother from anything that might be hunting you at the same time. The protection of the forest just comes from the stories of your kind. Many men would believe the stories but usually the wisest of the village would create them to protect you as well. Unfortunately it would also bring disasterous thoughts about you to the other humans. Its all so clear." She looked at Brigan whose expression would make what she was saying almost comical. "All i needed was the story of how you were created to get all the information to learn about you. Your empathy comes from your connection to the humans. The half side of you." Serenity finished explaining as she also looked to see the expression on Alzeids face.

Alzeid smiled, "exactly" he said and was happy she got it and understood it. IN the past many werewolves told this story to humans but they only assumed that it was a story and nothing more. They never thought it was true or anything like that but she got it. She was possibly the only human who understood the wolves as well as a werewolf. "you know your an amazing girl to be able to get all of that from a story." Brigan said as he looked at her.

"THANK YOU" Serenity said in a calm not so loud way but she did want to show her gratitude for the complement. "My sister taught me that theres more to a story than just the writing and the pure enjoyment of listening or reading one. She taught me to analyze the history to know the hows and the whys. All you need is the first ever legend of some kind to know anything about a single race." Serenity said playfully. She knew he was alittle amazed but all she needed were the small details. "But can you tell me if there is anything i missed?" She said as another smile creeped onto her face.

Brigen nodded, "you did miss one thing and that is because we keep it out of the legend or at least not try to talk about it much." he said as he sat down next to her and relaxed. Alzeid nodded and sat on her other side, "there is one thing that is true about us that the humans fear and that is we can change others. Exactly like how the god did we can put a part of our wolf goes into the person we have bitten and he becomes one of us. But the change doesn't happen right away. After you get bitten you get a rash, once that goes away you feel like you can do anything but then when the full moon comes out you change and from then on can change when ever you want." Alzeid said as he looked at her.

Serenity laughed. Its a good thing she hadnt gotten bitten. "Interesting so the other stories are half true. They come off of truth. It comes with the stories of the werewolves and vampires. Though now i know its true." She couldnt help but laugh. The man had sat next to her as well as Alzeid. She was glad that everyone was relaxing. It was a better environment that way. "Havent you ever heard the stories? Werewolves will come to kill you but if they get their fangs in you you become one of them. I read it in so many books it had to be truth. Its never mentioned in the legend im guessing so you dont have to think of the... whats the word... barbaricness of it? Well let me say that thats not in the least Barbaric. Its a fate that happens to those that take violence on your race. It makes sense because then they have to feel what you feel everyday from their constant annoyance." She looked at Brigen as she leaned on Alzeid. "Or at least thats how i think of it."

Brigan smirked, "your right aobut that, all of that. Eveyrthing your saying is true and the reason why we keep that story out there is so that no one starts to wonder if it is true. It is such common knowlege to everyone that they automaticly think that it isn't true. So that is how we like it." he said as he looked at her. Alzeid smiled and kissed her head, wrapping a arm around her.

With a smile the girl looked back at Alzeid and closed her eyes. Serenity liked that he was embracing her. It felt so comfortable. She opened her eyes back up to Brigen. "Well i guess its all figured out then. Am I right?" She looked back at Alzeid knowing he was proud of how much she picked up with so little. She just couldnt help but take a look at the deeper pictures of things. "To tell the truth, you all were right. With the stories as common sense i have to say i for one didnt think it was true till the race that night." Hoping he would smile again for her she moved so that she was laying sidways on his chest and nuzzled her head into it.

Callum nodded to the girl. "Sure, we can go to the market. It'll be fun," he said lightly. Cal was so grateful that Amelia came along with him. It was a lot more fun than being alone. He squeezed her hand quickly letting her know he was going to follow her where she led him.

Amelia smiled "you know this is really fun normaly the photographers i,ve seen are shhhh or will you just stand still or you stand there do this" she laughed "or it's get out of my shot" she said that in a mocking tone of the person she heard that from.

As they walked she turned the corner she never said which way they would go to the market so she decided they would take the long way it was a prettier walk anyways not as many buildings of the rich with there gated fences "if we take this way we wont have to see the Redfut's aweful lawn gnome collection those things kind of creep me out".

Louhi decided to make her escape. She could not STAND it anymore! She chatted politely, and then act like she ahd to go to the bathroom. She slipped out the back door, and began walking, not sure where she was going. Just as long as it was out of there.

Brigen smiled, "that is the idea, if you have to many storys aobut it then no one believes it." he said as he looked at her and saw the love between them. It was pure and he liked the feelings he was getting form them. Alzeid smiled at her and kissed her head happly. He loved to remember that night they raced since he met her that day and pulled her closer so that she was sitting in his lap. He then kissed her head and smiled.

Louhi continued along the path, bothered by the rustling of her skirt against skin. She wandered, unsure of where she wanted to go, just knowing she wanted to be free of the constraints of a party. Freedom, that's what she was going for! She considered changing shape, but she decided against it. Maybe later.
