What if when you fell asleep, you travelled to a different realm...
And what you did while you were there, affected what happened here?

Story
It's 3am in the morning, and school just started. As the bell rings, you rush into your classroom, and throw yourself into a seat. The teacher walks in, twisting their hands in a manner that confuses and worries you. Your teacher tells you that they have a story to tell you, or rather news.....
There is a gate that is watched by one known as the Gate Keeper. The Gate Keeper is the one that guards the Gates, and was placed there to keep the balance. He was meant to keep it so that nothing could overpower anything else, and that the Never Known Realm would never be in danger. He is, or rather was, living nor dead, for he was a mortal that was cursed by the Gods for giving away their secrets. As a punishment, his soul was placed in an amulet of Obsidian Stone, and placed with the task of guarding the Gates. Although the Gate Keeper was mortal, along with having to live forever, he can be killed like everyone else. This is only by a Godly weapon touching the amulet.
Now, the Gate Keeper has died, and the doors remain unguarded. This means that the realms are free to travel between without consequence. As such, the realms have begun to merge together as one. All except for one realm; the Shadow Realm. This realm is instead trying to take over the Never Known Realm, and because of this, is causing harm and danger to those that go to school here that live there.
To add to this equasion, we have the realm's King and Queen. Well, we had a King and Queen. Until the King lost his powers, and is now no longer holding his position on the throne. With the King's powers going to a new King, and the Queen regaining her powers, the realm is sure to have a step in the direction of defeating this evil that plagues our school. But you must still aide us if you wish to save that which you love.
Just remember that magick is not known in the Never Known Realm. It is known of, but not known of how to do it. The realms know of each other, the never Known Realm even knows of the other realms, just that they do not realize it. The Never Known Realm just knows about it through stories, tales, legends, and myths.
The only safe place with all the realms was this school that we are sitting in. Or was, until it got taken over by the People of the Shadow. Now, the school is not safe any longer, and you students are in danger.
You now have a choice before you; will you stay and fight, or will you hide and wait? If you choose to fight, will you fight for Good, or will you fight for Evil? Remember, no one of you has more than one main element, and two sub elements. It is also very very rare to find one with Spirit, but possible. You may have Fire and Ice, as they do not fully conflict. But you may not have Fire and Water, or something that completely conflicts with each other; because this would tear your body apart.

Sub Element One: water
Sub Element Two: wind
Side: (Evil or Good): Good
Personality: Acts very immature but in fact is a great warrior with a deep personality. Its hard to tell what snowy is really feeling but she has an incredibly short temper but tries her best to control it (but often fails) she is very protective of her friends. She has a hard time trusting others but sometimes overcomes that flaw. Her lack of trust makes her hard to trick though which can help when you are in a war. She sees what needs to be done and does all she can to do it herself. She prefers working alone in the comfort of her own apartment. So she is not one for study groups. Although she works alone most of the time she can work with others if asked to. (I'll add more if I think of anything else)
Bio: (Tell us a little about yourself): Snowy (just the character) acts quite young for her age but is very strong. It's hard to tell but Snowy's parents were killed by warriors from the evil side and has been fighting for good ever since. Because her parents were killed when she was very young and no one knew who her parents were she does not know her real name. Her nickname comes from her skilled abilities to control snow and ice.

Sub Element Two: Life
Side: Neutral
Personality: Caring, Sweet, Cheerful, Bubbly, Can be very stern, strict and easily bored.
Bio: Forever being told that she was the key, the one to stay neutral, not allowed to upset the balance, Selene followed the rules wisely and was honored by all. The spot of the Queen however she gave up, when she was tricked into betraying her king, the king leaving his sword in his throne, shifted his powers up for grabs, slowly the queen, felt bad...and ashamed that she locked her memories away; to were she would never remember, ever again. Acting as a normal student, she knows more than what she needs to. Knowing what has occurred, she has been forced to slowly regain her memories that she locked up, before her powers were taken away from her, and she would loose all connection to help the war. The balance being messed with, things started to unlock quickly, and so; when such happened. She bestowed the powers of the king, with out knowing it to her friend. Forever shall Selene be known as the fair queen. Even though she hates that title.

Evil
Quote:
Username: Ari'iela
Name: Ari'iela
Age: Unknown
Race: Elf Immortal
Realm: Depends on her mood, she found away to break the rules.
Main Element: Spirit
Sub Element One: Death
Sub Element Two: Darkness
Side: Evil
Personality: She acts rude, arrogant, sarcastic and not very trusting. However she can be nice, like when someone is hurt, she will help them out, but the moment someone is sarcastic to her or rude, she snaps right back. When she finds a person she finally does trust, she exposes more of a soft, caring side. Overall she is a hard shell that you have to penetrate slowly and patiently. She is skilled archer in more ways than one, Ari'iela is adept at wounding a man’s heart or his pocket as she is at taking aim at game with her bow. Beautiful, charming and clever, she is as nimble minded as she is swift-footed. She is, however, prone to deceit and manipulation. Her mind is often a step ahead of the situation, or at least she thinks it is, and her arrogance and self-interest lead her to make less than charitable decisions often thereby inadvertently making many enemies. Fickle and inconstant she often has difficulty in making any sort of major decision until she is driven to the brink of catastrophe should she not act. Thus, she seems to be ever residing on the edge of disaster but can never seem to put her finger on why. As such, she lacks any sort of focus whatsoever on future and goals, and is thoroughly engulfed in resolving whatever mess she’s currently in; often dragging others into her issues with little regard for their safety or feelings. She is quick to frustrate when her wiles and physical powers do not immediately get her exactly what she wants which tends to lead her toward frequent failures which she outwardly brushes off but is inwardly thoroughly distraught by, and brings out her shell. However, she is not one to be trusted, or trifled with.
Bio: Ari'iela is born of royal bloodline of Seikeira. Her father, was a human, a common necromancer fell in love with her mother, the queen of the elves and gave birth to her daughter in secrecy from the humans. Ari'iela never knew her mother, nor her father until she was seventeen years old. Upon her 17th birthday (310 Elf years), her land fell under siege. Armies from the lands to the north began to ruthlessly attack. Many fell at their hands, and even more were wounded. The land of the humans had found out that she existed. A forbidden child born of Elf and Human. Being forced to escape death and was forced to leave the heaven of the woodlands. When creating new friends, she purposely avoids her past and her true title which she will never, speak of ever. Though little is known of her, she is accused of being one to help keep the gate keeper, and in possession of his amulet.

2. Please try not to use too much bad language.
3. Please please please!! Try to be Semi-Lit at least. No one or two liners.
4. Please do not bash too hard on those that rp in here. I like keeping people coming in. =)

Melissa rolled over as she looked at the clock, ugh. She had stayed up again...until 2...why was it she could never seem to get to sleep at a decent time. It was like, her body and mind were programed to go to bed at 2am, always. No matter how much she tried to change the pattern, it never worked. Muttering something she rolled over and looked at her roomie who seemed to be sleeping a bit more peaceful than she was. Looking up at the ceiling, she grabbed a hold of her boyfriends hoodie and closed her eyes. Eventually out like a light...[/color]

Opening her eyes. Selene looked around as she walked down sunset avenue heading towards the school. Today was the day of their test. She had to pass. Her potions class was her hardest class but she had to pass. Sighing some she slumped her shoulders some and shuffled onto the school. Stepping in, she felt as though she was home, and a smile crossed her face.
Home sweet home.. She thought as she looked around hearing all the teacher buzzing around and students rushing to classes, or to their clicks. She walked over to her usual spot, the spot by the Moraie fountain and sat down, pulling out her book and waiting for her friends to arrive, or maybe even her teacher to ask about special treatment for the exam.

Taryn always took a while to fall asleep at night. It seemed as though, no matter what she did, she couldn't fall asleep until almost 2am. It annoyed her a little, but she didn't care. She was going to have another dreamless night of sleep anyways. Rolling onto her left side, she curled up, finally falling asleep just as the clock flashed 2am.
"Miss? Miss. Are you paying attention?" The voice of Vivvian's secretary woke her out of her reverie. She blinked, and rubbed her eyes as she looked at the small woman. "Apparently you were not Miss. Maybe you should try going to sleep earlier?" As soon as she said this, her eyes got wide and her hands flew over her mouth as if she said a dirty word. "I'm so sorry Miss, I won't do it again. I promise!" She shook her head, her hands still clasped tightly over her mouth.
Shaking her own head, Viv held up one hand to silence the girl. "Stop it will you. I keep telling you that you can say whatever you want to. You don't have to apologize for everything." She sighed after saying this. It was the same thing every morning. She woke up from dozing off or something, and her secretary scolded her for snoozing, and she apologized followed by Viv telling her not to. She really had to get that woman out of that habit. "I mean it. Don't you apologize to me. I fell asleep again, big deal. I gotta sleep some time."
Just as the secretary opened her mouth, a small bell was heard resounding through the room. "Damn. The students are here. We will finish this later." Standing up, Vivvian brushed her dress pants out, and straightened her tunic. She was the only one that was required to dress 'nice'. So she wore pants to get out of having to wear a dress. Her chocolate brown pants lost all the wrinkles, and her orange tunic fixed itself so that it hugged the right curves, and showed the appropriate amount of skin. As she walked out into the hallway, she untangled her silver moon, sun, and star necklace out of her long flaming red hair, and walked towards Moraie fountain.
"Did you study?" She looked at her best friend, Selene, hoping that she did for once. "Because you know that if I keep giving you special treatment, then they will know that you are not being treated the same." She hated doing things like that, but she knew that she couldn't, and wouldn't pass Selene this time if she failed. She had to get her to learn before she put her in her next class. She knew that Selene hated potions class, but she knew that the class would be essential in the times to come.

Selene looked up from her book as she looked up at the head mistress and smiled sweetly. "Yes I did...It is just...a hard class. She said as she looked down and then back up. "Hey...in all fairness....I don't ask for them..." She said softly as she smiled again. It was the truth, she really did study, it was just...other things were currently being an issue with her.
"I am not wanting you to help me out or anything. I can pass this, I can, it is just...so hard." She said as she closed her book and then dipped her hand into the fountain as she twirled the water some and then gazed into it. "Something's coming you know...I can't explain it, but it isn't a good feeling..." She muttered as she continued to look into the water, and then realizing what she said, she bit her lower lip some. Well crap; she didn't mean to say that out loud; oh well...

Sighing, Vivvian looked at her. "Yea well, I hate to say it, but whether you asked for it or not, you need it." She stood there watching her play in the fountain with her hand for a moment. She was trying to gather her thoughts. Everything was so jumbled and messed up in her mind right now. Sighing, she ran one hand through her hair. "I know that something is coming. Do you not think that I don't? You always wear things like that on your sleeve. You hate the thought of having more work." She made a face, and crossed her arms. "Besides, I have been doing everything that I can to make sure no one else finds out yet. The last thing that we need is for the kids to find out."
As she said that, she sighed and looked around. No, she didn't want them to find out. Not yet at least. She knew that she would have to tell them eventually. She hated her students being in the dark, especially about something like this. But she wanted to make sure she had enough information when she told them. That was she knew for sure. That was the only thing that was keeping her from telling them was the fact that at the moment, there were mere whispers and rumors about a war, and battles coming. She had to know first.
To top everything off, Nik was being a pain in her ass lately. He kept telling her one thing, and telling Selene another. He used to be King, that is until he gave up his powers. Then he went and told her that he was bound. Of course he was bound, it was because his Queen wanted nothing to do with him. That was why they were here in this upcoming situation. The Queen didn't want anything to do with the current King, and refuses to stay on the throne so long as he keeps lying about things. She shook her head as these thoughts went through her mind. Because the Queen won't take the throne, the King was bound, his power ripped out of him, and flying around who knows where. Because of all that, the rumors started circulating because the Shadow realm has been looking for a good time to wage a war to take over. Well, now they had their reason.
Vivvian knew that someone needed to take the throne. That was a must. So she tapped Selene on the shoulder, that look on her face that said, I need to talk to you. "Selene, we need a King. I know this, you know this. I'm guyish enough to make everyone happy, and you trust me with your life, just like I trust you with mine. Make me King. We can restore the balance of things, and keep our realm safe." She looked at the short girl, and waited for an answer. Vivvian's gut told her that this was the right choice. But did Selene think so?

"Geeze, Thanks..." Selene said as she stuck her tongue out some and then laughed a bit. Then she sighed as she listened to what Viv was saying. "I had a feeling you knew, I was just...curious ya know? You tell me to tell you things.." She said as she glanced up at her best friend and then back down to the fountain. "Yeah..."
She wasn't so sure if it was a good thing that no one knew right now, or a bad. Protecting them was one thing, but...she sighed a bit as she wrinkled her nose, hearing a bit of a few thoughts, eck. Him. He annoyed the hell out of her, and she wanted to punch him in well, a not so friendly place.
However one thing that Selene wasn't counting on was hearing what she just did. Her eyes widened as she grabbed a hold of her head and winced in pain as her eyes began to flicker a gold. "No..No...No.." She cried to herself as she tried to clear her head, images, memories, everything was coming into her head, all at once; No. Not again, she wouldn't allow it.
Not..yet... A voice rang through her head as she calmed down and her eyes turned back to normal, all she did was nod her head. "For now though Viv, the balance is just fine, how you have it. And thank the gods for that!" She said as she giggled a bit.

Vivvian watched her for a moment before sighing. She knew that was going to be the answer, but then again that was to be expected. She knew that it wasn't time yet, it was coming though. Nodding, she tugged on a strand of her hair, plucking the thin strand out and twirling it between her fingers. Looking at her fingers with concentration, she made it look like she was disappointed. But that wasn't the case, she was actually amused that she didn't look at her with more surprise than she did.
"No, I know. I figured that I would just ask." She spoke just as the bell rang for class. Frowning, she looked over her shoulder at the annoyance. "I really hate that thing. Get to class." She pushed Selene in the direction of the potions room, and sat down on the edge of the fountain as she watched her walk away. Sighing, she put her head on her hands, which her propped up on her knees. She knew that it was almost time for everything, she just hated waiting. That was always the worst part; waiting.
"Miss? You have a visitor in your office. He... insisted that you come and meet him in there." The secretary was standing near her, hovering really. She looked frightened again. Sighing, she growled a little. She hated that she scared so easy, but she hated it more when other people scared her. "Who is it? Can they wait?" Vivvian knew as soon as the words left her mouth that they wouldn't wait. She knew who it was. Grumbling, she stood up and took the woman's hand, steering her with her towards her office. "You let him scare you again, didn't you? Do I seriously have to beat his head in? Cause I will."
Arriving at the office door, Vivvian let her secretary go. She had suddenly got the feeling that something was off. Turning sharply towards the woman, she pointed one finger at her. "Get Selene. Tell her it's time. She'll know. GO!" With a yelp, the woman turned heel and ran as fast as her legs would carry her towards the classroom. Viv knew that it was bad to frighten her more, but this called for her moving as fast as possible. If she was right, they were in big, big trouble.
Sighing, she opened her office door, and stepped inside to glare at him. "What do you think you are doing in my chair? Get out of it, now." As he climbed out of it and movied to a new chair, she walked over and sat in it herself. "What do you want now, Nikolas? You had better make it good to be coming to school."

"Hmm..." Selene thought to herself as she heard the bell and wrinkled her nose some. "I know what you mean, later tar...erm...vivi!" She as she laughed a bit softly and gathered her things and ran off in a nervous rush, maybe just maybe she didn't hear that. Crap she wasn't suppose to give away things, what was wrong with her today? Oh...man....class! Darnit...that meant the exam was soon!. A frown crossed her lips as she sighed and headed off to her class. Getting to the room she walked to her seat in the back and sat down pulling out her notes and such, waiting for the class to start, and then to finish. "Please let things be normal... She said under her breath as she waited for the class to end. And the dreaded test to occur.
Foot steps were heard as Ari'iela stepped through the fog that came from the river that ran from the gate to the other seven, and the gates of the realms. A small smirk crossed her lips as she began to get closer, closer to the gate that was guarded by the gate keeper. That pathetic fool; he was getting in her way too, their way. Their way of getting the ultimate power, and taking what was theirs. "Hello Old Fool." She said as her smirk got a bit wider. "I've come to get passed this Gate. To go to another realm..so to say.." She said as she hoped that for once things would go simple.
The man's eyes looked at Ari'ela as he shook his head. "I am sorry miss, but no one is allowed through, tis the law. He continued to look at her, watching carefully if she was to cause any trouble.
"Oh? You thought I was asking? I see..." She said as she made a soft tsk tsk sound and then brought her hand down to her hilt of her sword. . "Such a pity then.." She said as she pulled the sword out, her lips curving into more of a smirk. Her vivid blue eyes seemed to glisten as she raised it to the mans throat, and began to cut slowly and very painfully down neck, but not to deep. .
"I know you can't be killed by forged weapons, however; you can be a dead fish..." She said as she traced the sword farther down the mans neck before reaching his chest and stabbing the sword through it, as she ripped the amulet around his neck off. Taking the sword, she brought it up to her lips and slowly licked the blood off. "Mmm, you are rather delicious for a old fool..." A small laugh came from her as she took the amulet pieces, and left. Slipping through the gate, to the never known realm.
"NO!" Selene screamed out loud as she shot out of the trance she was currently in, her eyes pure gold and shining bright.
Startled a bit Selene's teacher looked at her, worried, and rather annoyed. Is there a problem Selene? He said as he walked towards her, his voice filled with annoyance. Until; he however saw her eyes. His eyes widened a bit as he looked at a student. "Go get the head mistress! Now!" He said urgency through his voice as took a hold of Selene by her shoulders, as she just, cried. Numb, and scared.

The secretary was just about to knock on the door when a resounding scream echoed through the door. Jumping back in surprise, the woman stood there with her eyes wide. "Oh dear, that cannot be good." Reaching for the knob, she turned it, pushing the heavy wood door opened. Seeing Selene standing there crying, she knew what happened. Walking over, she put a hand on the girls' shoulder. "Miss, the Headmistress wishes to see you. She says that it's time."
Vivvian glared at Nikolas, waiting for him to answer. As she waited, her head rang with a Selene-sounding scream. "Oh for goodness sake, not now." She sighed and looked at Nik, who was holding his head. "Yea, she hurts when she does that. I know." Rubbing her forehead, Vivvian stood up for a moment, before changing her mind. Selene would be in the office any minute now. She always was. Looking back at Nik, she crossed her arms. "Now, what is it?"
Snorting, Nik raised his eyebrow at the Headmistress. "You don't need to speak to me that way. It's not like I'm bringing horrible news or something, God." He rearranged himself so that he was sitting on his knees in the chair. He knew that she hated that, so he did it anyways. His green eyes were watching her as she glared at him. Shrugging, he fiddled with his shirt. He hated when she did that.
"Will you not stare at me like that. It's annoying." He looked at her, and glared back. There was no way that he was going to tell her anything now. All she ever did was glare at him anymore, and he hated it. Ever since he decided to pick that fight with her, she treated him like she didn't care. "Well, I figured you might want to know that I know what is going to happen. But seeing as you won't do anything but glare at me, I may as well go." Standing up, Nik turned to leave, making sure to be as obnoxious as he possibly could in the process.
Vivvian glared at Nikolas as he stood up. She knew that he had more information to give. She also knew that he wouldn't have given it to her anyways, whether she was glaring at him or not. Snorting, she just pointed towards the door. "Just get out Nikolas. I know what is going to happen. Personally, anything you have to say at the moment is just going to be repeating what I already know. Now if you will kindly get out, I have other matters to attend to." making sure to wait for him to leave the room, she sighed and slumped down in her chair once the door shut. Now to wait for Selene and her secretary.

Shaking some still and be held by her teacher, he let go as she saw the secretary and nodded. Selene looked up at the woman as she had tears continue to stream down her face. "His...dead..." She muttered some as she stood up as the woman helped her up, and escorted her to Viv. Selene continued to shake, as she just continued to cry. Not really sure what was going on. Where she was going; If she was even still alive. She sure knew she didn't feel like it.

The secretary just took Selene's arm, and gently led her through the halls. Taking the less travelled hallways, she made sure that there were as little eyes to see as possible. She figured that would be better even though it took longer to get to the Headmistress's office. Finally arriving, she knocked on the door, and opened it once she heard Vivvian's voice telling her to come in. Peeking her head in the crack she allowed, she looked at Vivvian. "I have Miss Selene here for you Ma'am."
Vivvian sighed. There was no way that she would ever be able to break her of the habit of calling her Miss and Ma'am. It was annoying sometimes, but at the moment, she just didn't care. Waving one hand, she motioned for her to let Selene into the room. She had a feeling that whatever it was that made her make that Goddess awful noise couldn't have been good at all. She sighed, waiting patiently as she ran her hands over her head, she tilted her head backwards as she gazed at her ceiling. She loved her ceiling. It was the most beautiful place to look when she was stressed out. It mimicked the night sky in every way possible, and Vivvian loved it. She kept her gaze towards the ceiling, waiting.

Selene stood there as she stepped up to the desk and bowed her head some. "His...dead..." She muttered some more again, she kept muttering it over and over as she just looked at her, scared, her eyes gold with no pupil.
(Sorry brain fart still. T_T)

Sighing some more as Vivvian looked down away from the ceiling, she listened to the girl repeat herself about three times before getting up. Walking to the door, she shut it, and moved her hand across it in a matter such as sealing it. "There." Turning around, she looked at Selene for a second before she started to get fed up. Grabbing her by her shoulders, she spun Selene around.
"Selene! Look at me! I swear woman, if you don't..." She trailed off. She never had a response for the endeing of that line. It always resulted in her doing something rash and unexpected. Watching the girl for another second, she sighed again. "Oy." Raising one hand, she swung it down across Selene's face. Wincing, she clenched her hand. She hated doing that, but it was always the most effective way to get her to snap to. "SELENE!"

Selene snapped out of it. As she looked at Viv and blinked a bit. "Huh? What?" She said as she blinked a bit more, a confused look crossed her face as she wondered why she was in the office, and why she wasn't in class. "Why am I in here? I have a test..."
She blinked a bit again, as she held her head some her eyes turning back to the hazel color that they normally were and she looked at Viv, waiting to find out what was going on; and why she wasn't in class, though she still had a feeling that something was wrong...though she didn't know why.

Vivvian let out a sigh of relief. She was glad that she didn't have to do that again. She hated doing that once as it was. Looking at Selene, she tried her hardest to keep any emotion out of her eyes, or her voice for that matter. She knew that what she was about to say was going to be hard enough as it was.
"The Gate Keeper's dead." She closed her eyes for a moment as a searing pain ripped across her sternum on her chest. Holding her breath, she waited the minute or so for the pain to pass before she opened her eyes once more. "According to what you were blabbering on about, he was murdered. By whom, I do not know. When, I do not know. All I know is what you kept saying, which was pretty much one line; 'He's dead'." She sighed, and walked the few steps back around her desk, sitting down heavily in her chair. This was not a good thing. She knew this. In fact, this was a very bad thing. She just wasn't sure how bad... yet.
