"Well a while back we were in love." Alex said quietly. "A while being about 100 and some odd years." Holly cut in before alex continued speaking. "She and I didn't think the other liked them so since we both have magic we cast a love spell on the other." Holly started to speak. "The spells got mixed up and ended up freezing our ages. We've been together ever since, a few people have found out and they kind of are trying to kill us." She finished turning to alex wondering if he had anything else to say. "That's pretty much it..." Alex murmured.

Kisa followed Lithia home, “I really appreciate you doing this for me. If you’d like I can help out a bit, I’m only 13 years old but I know how to take care of a house and myself. So if you need help with anything I’m your girl.” Kisa was very proud of herself, she liked being on her own. Now she felt she owed them so she could do some work to pay them back.

Gaven laughed when they finished telling him that story. He liked them, they were really nice people, “Who would want to hurt or even kill you guys? You’re so cute and funny, ok...ok sorry.” He took a deep breath and smiled. He had eaten while they talked and his plate was empty. He took his plate into the kitchen and placed it into the sink, “Ok well I’m going to get your futons ready you guys eat and I’ll be back. He went to the living room and opened the closet where he kept extra sheets for the futon. He folded the futon down and made their bed, they were a nice couple. They had active imaginations too, magic spells and immortality they were entertaining!

Holly frowned and crossed her arms. He didn't believe her. Alex ate his food quietly thinking. He finished and got up taking his empty plate into the kitchen. They both walked over to Gaven, Holly left her plateful of food on the table. "You don't believe us?" Holly asked annoyed. "I'll prove it to you." She muttered pointing at the plate of pasta and floating it over behind them, so Gaven wouldn't see it, to be just above Gavens head. Alex reached up and grabed it just as Holly was about to let it drop. She frowned and crossed her arms again. She took her plate and stomped off into the kitchen. "How could I prove it to you?" Alex asked while Holly was out of the room.

Gaven watched in confusion as Holly left and Alex held a plate of pasta, “How could I prove it to you?” Confusion was written all over Gaven’s face.
“Huh… prove, prove what? You guys don’t have to prove anything to me.” He smiled at Alex, “I’ll wash the dishes, you guys eat and get some sleep. Holly’s had a rough day today, huh?” He asked aside to Alex as he walked past him to the kitchen. He wondered if he and Sylvie would ever be this close as he started running the hot water.

Marissa worked all night reading the book her mother had given her. It was very large, a foot thick at the least, and detailed. It sat on a black granite pedestal and was protected by very ancient and powerful magic, and only those of her blood could touch it. Illusious watched and said nothing about how Marissa should be getting some sleep since she had school tomorrow. She knew that once Marissa had her mind set on something there was no deterring her. At 4 in the morning Marissa finally found the right page and began studying the spell closely. Sure she had done the spell before, but she didn’t want to tell them that once she conjured a werewolf and another time she conjured a worm instead of a ring. Her dad still teased her about it. She knew she had to get it right this time though! She studied until Illusious got her attention that it was time for her to go to school. Frustrated and tired she dragged herself away from the tome. She got her uniform on, grabbed a loaf of bread and her unfinished homework. The teacher was gonna give her hell for not finishing it on time. With some money in her pocket for lunch and Sylvie’s candle shop Marissa walked the three miles to school. It was a pleasant day and the sun was out, but Marissa was too tired to notice.

Alex frowned and followed Gaven into the kitchen. He snapped his fingers and the plates began to wash themselves. "I like my way better." Holly muttered walked over next to alex and taking his hand watching the dishes clean themselves waiting to see what Gaven could possable say.

"20." Holly said. "22" Alex answered. "Although we've been this old for about...." Alex looked at Holly not really sure as the sat down at the table. "Exactly Three hundred and ninty-six years in about a month. This place has changed alot from then." Holly said smiling. Alex looked suprised he wasn't sure how the heck she remembered the date that well. Holly looked down at the plate of pasta and began eating it slowly.

"We're not vampires" Holly said annoyed. "Yes we can get hurt and we'd need to use magic to heal anything which we couldn't do because then people would find us, even using magic in small amounts like cleaning your dishes could be bad. They're watching us." Alex said nervously. "I hope this won't get you into trouble."

"Wizard would be the correct way of saying it, and yes Holly is a witch." Alex said holding back laughter. Holly put the fork down and picked up the garlic. She began laughing, she couldn't hold it back. "This doesn't do anything to vampires you know. It's a myth. " Alex took the garlic from her hands and put it back on the table. "But, if it makes you feel better to have it no one's stopping you."

Holly rolled her eyes "boogie monster, really Gaven, you're asking about the boogie monster." Alex laughed. "The Boogie monster isn't real, as far as I know...."

"A good number of them exist and Some are haunted, some aren't." Alex shrugged. "We are because we're unnatural, witches and wizards are suppose to die like a normal human." Holly said frowning slightly. She began eating the pasta again. She took a few bites and put her fork down. She wasn't very hungry.

Holly picked up har plate and brought it into the kitchen after she finished eating. She placed it into Gaven's sink careful not to make alot of noise. Alex walked up behind her and put and arm around her waist pulling her over to the futon. "You need to sleep." He said. They both layed down and Holly closed her eyes. Alex kept his arms around her and pulled her close to him. They both fell asleep soon after. Feeling safe for one night, not having to worry about someone or something looking for them.

Michael couldn’t believe how well his day was going, and all thanks to the beautiful and talented witch Marissa. He had two pop quizzes and was sure he’d aced them both, he was the only one in his math class to answer the most complicated question and he didn’t even have a sniffle. The day was so beautiful he decided to study outside on the quad where some students were studying while others played Frisbee or threw a football. He only had to work an hour before everything was done and he understood everything. He walked back to his dorm feeling fantastic, but he knew to take his medicine. Even though it was disgusting it was a miracle that he felt so amazing.

Marissa was miserable through the whole school day, she got detention for not finishing her homework. Now she had twice as much homework to do and she had to do it for the two hours she had to stay over. If anyone needed anything at the store they’d have to wait, oh this wasn’t a good day for her at all. She’d fallen asleep during class and even while she was in line at the cafeteria, now she was struggling to stay awake in detention. But with all this boring homework she couldn’t concentrate and she kept dozing and having to jerk herself awake again. She didn’t even hear the teacher when she said she could finally go.

Holly's eyes open and she wiggled out of Alex's grip. Silently she fixed the ruffles on her dress and her stockings. Alex rolled over and fell of the futon. He mad a small thump before grumbling and getting up. Holly giggled softly and went over to hug him. "Goodmorning Sunshine." She said sarcastically and kissed him on the cheek. "Shh. I don't know if Gaven's awake" Alex whispered putting a hand over her mouth.

Holly bit his finger and walked out into the kitchen following the wonderful smell of his cooking. "That smells really good!" She exclamed walking up behind Gaven. Alex followed her into the kitchen and looked around. "Are you cooking for 3 people or 18?" He laughed looking at the amount of food. He walked up behin Holly and wrapped his arms around her resting his chin on her head.

Gaven smiled at the two as they walked into the kitchen with complements and jokes, “Well I didn’t know what you guys liked, so I made whatever I could.” Gaven looked at the clock and blushed, “Hey, I got to go to work. Feel free to stay, the door locks automatically if you leave. So if you need back in I’ll be in the store in front of this building ok? The butcher shop, not the lingerie shop.” His blush worsened after he said lingerie.

Kisa looked around Lithia’s place, this was her kind of place! “I love it! Oh it’s so great here! This is all yours? Isn’t it lonely to be in such a huge place by yourself? Oh thanks for letting me stay here, I’ll repay you somehow. I can clean really good and if you need me to go to a store and buy anything I’m your girl!” Kisa really liked Lithia, she hoped that they could become friends but she was so worried about her tiger.

Marissa looked at her watch as she ran to Sylvie’s store. She could buy the candles tomorrow, but she knew that if she waited she’d forget. She got to the store just as Sylvie was walking out. Out of breath she stood by Sylvie gasping for air and waved tiredly, “Hi!” Was all she could say.
