(Man you guys are Psychic cuz here I am, sorry it took so long *bows humbly* school, homework, work, and getting back home has taken a toll on me. But I'm here now.)

Gaven about had a heart attack when Holly jumped behind him screaming guess what and jumping up and down, “AAH! Oh! Hi Holly, Alex…What? What’s going on?” He opened the door to his apartment and ushered them in. He took off his bloody apron and threw it into the dirty laundry hamper in the bathroom. He smiled at the two love birds, they were excited and he found Holly’s endless energy refreshing from his day to day routine. Alex’s calm nature balanced the two of them out and he liked his quiet yet strong presence. Though knowing the two had magical powers was a bit humbling, it only made them that more interesting.

Hearing the door open Kyle went to greet Marissa, but it was the other witch. Lithia looked about for a bit, “Marissa isn’t back yet, she hasn’t come home from school yet.” He was lonely and depressed, he didn’t understand why she didn’t want to spend time with him. She hadn’t really given him a chance really. “Hey you’re a witch, is there any way for me to…get closer to Marissa? I mean, be alive for a short while or maybe possess someone else? I just want to get close to her, I want to sweep her off her feet. Is there anyway of doing that?” He was desperate, the only one around all day was the wolf-dog and she ignored him most of the time. Plus he couldn’t memorize anything in the darn book.

Marissa watched as Sylvie handled the girl that had just come into the store, but she could tell right away the girl was a shape shifter. She had the most beautiful teal eyes and silver hair, she carried a dream catcher and looked a bit nervous. Marissa stayed where she was, she didn’t want to throw off Sylvie’s business by butting in. She could wait a few minutes before making her own purchase.

"We, Alex and I, found the most amazing little resturant that is going out of buisness and well...." Holly started to said much to excited. "I told her we had to talk to you first before buying it for you." Alex cut in. "We could help out, oh please let us buy it for you. Alex can help at your dads store and I'll help and be a waitress, you don't even have to pay us. PLEASEEEEEEE!" She begged gaven

The new girl was strangely pretty, in the sort of way Marissa was strangely pretty, Sylvie decided. Unlike Marissa, however, she was incredibly nervous. Best to put her at ease, then. "Lyna, is it? It's nice to meet you, Lyna," she almost cooed, laying a gentle hand on the girl's forearm. "My name is Sylvie, and you are free to come join us for tea, if you like. I have enough for another cup, and you can meet Marissa while you're at it. She's my neighbor, and she's a shop-owner herself, so you can meet two people at once." Sylvie talked in a low voice as though addressing a frightened animal, though she didn't quite know why she did, and as she spoke she led Lyna to the kitchen table where Marissa and she had been sitting. After pulling up an extra chair, pouring another cup of tea, and, as an afterthought, lighting a lavender-scented taper, she encouraged the newcomer to sit.

"Now... Lyna, this is Marissa. Marissa, meet Lyna."

"Tea sounds lovely, and it is nice to meet you, Sylvie and Marissa. Thank you, for the tea." I said as i sat down in the offered chair. The lavender scentted candle seemed to ease my mind about them. I began to relax in to the chair. I smiled at both of them as i looked around the room, it was nice and full of little things that made the room more homey then what her house seemed to be. "I live in the forest, there is a path that leads to my house, well it isn't quit a house. You can come vist when you want." I said after a while, they smelled like nice people and like the didn't really have a lot of vileonce in them. I seemed to stop fidgetting and my human words seemed to be coming more easier then the had in along time.

Gaven was in shock, “Huh?...A restaurant? What, why how?” Looking around his apartment he had to find something to stabilize him. His sense of reality felt off, he walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. Gaven didn’t know what he was grabbing, he was going by force of habit trying to let this news sink in. They wanted to buy him a restaurant, they wanted to work there with him and help him. But why? He let them stay over one night, why would these immortal and magical beings want to do this for him? He didn’t pay attention when he almost spilled the now hot liquid he was cooking on the stove when he turned to get some other unknown ingredients.

Marissa smiled at this girl and noticed her ears had a slight tip to them, maybe she was part elf like her! “It’s nice to meet you Lyna, did you just move here? I’m a new neighbor here and I’m just now getting comfortable in this town. How far into the woods do you live?” Looking at Sylvie, Marissa gave her a smile that said thank you. She was making so many friends and was happy to be in such a nice neighborhood.

"well....yes i did just move here yesturday afternoon. My house is about halfway into the woods, but you can't miss it because.....it is quit unique. The path is lined with wildflowers so it shouldn't be to hard to find." I said as i paused once in a while to get the right words out. I took a sip of the tea, it was delicious and made me feel so much better. I felt like there was something a little off about Marissa but couldn't pinpoint it right off the back. Sylvie smelled human enough maybe she had something in her that she didn't know about or maybe that smell was just my imagination. i set the dreamcatcher on the tabble so they can look at it."I make these and some other things, they really do work. They are all 100% natrual, no the animals do not mind, and none of them were hurt to make the things i make." i said as i realized that they might not like the fact that animals might have been hurt to make them.

Holly followed behind Gaven and into the kitchen smiling. Alex stood in the doorway not wanting to be in the way. "Yes a restaurant! Why, well because you're super nice and really seem to like to cook." She said looking at his cooking in wonder. How the heck did he know how to make that off the top of his head? "How...well Alex and I have been around a really really really long time so we have alot of money saved up and could pay for the space, you don't even have to update it...the restaurant there has a HUGE kitchen and a good amount of seating! It's only italian food though...so I think your menu would have to be more diverse. Not that you would seem to have a problem with that." Holly wasn't sure what else to say. "Gaven, you love cooking and you don't want to let your father down. You can manage the store but work in the resuaurant, I'm sure we can find other workers as well. It's not like paying a few extra people will really be a problem." Alex said his voice alot calmer than Holly's squeels of excitement. "Please....pretty pretty pretty PLEASE!" Holly begged again.

(( Sorry...))

Sylvie's eyebrows rose. The girl had just moved in yesterday? And she was already settled enough to visit neighbors? Oh, yes, she was a strange one, but the candlemaker was glad to help put her at ease. Whoever she really was.

Her gaze fell a little uneasily at the tallow candle. Granted, no animals had been hurt specifically for candle-making. The tallow was a byproduct, after all. And people did like the inexpensive, old-fashioned things. Mentally she shrugged off the unease, hoping that the girl wasn't a militant vegan, and took a good look at the dreamcatcher on the table. "It's lovely. Catching dreams, healing with potions, lighting up a room…" Sylvie smiled. "This is getting to be an interesting business district!"

((it is okay we love you anyways  sorry if it isn't very good lol))

I smiled up at Sylvie and started to finger the dream catcher absentmindly again. "Well it isn't just dream catchers i make, but i guess you are right about this being an interesting buisness district." I drank the last of my tea, i looked outside and saw that the sun was pretty low in the sky. "Thank you for the tea, but i must be going it is late in the day and i have customers that need my help. Thank you again and it was nice meeting you two." i said as i stood up and noded my head at them both and began to leave the shop.

((Haha, I’m not the only one you’ve been waiting on! And princess, that's not a pillow! That's a feesh! :feesh: ))

Sylvie nodded politely back at Lyna, wincing inside as she noticed the sun in the sky. Gaven would be showing up pretty soon, wouldn't he? And she wasn't ready! She tried not to let the sudden fear of being late seep into her voice. "It was nice to meet you, too, Lyna, and to take tea with you. I hope the forest welcomes you, too."

She turned back to Marissa, then, a bit sheepish. "So, um, did you need help, or...?"

(Ah I don't want to be slapped by the fishes. lol. Sorry school's kicking my butt as is work)

Gaven continued to cook and think. A restaurant? Could it really be possible? Could he accept such a gift from these two? It was his big dream, but this was too much. He looked up sheepishly at Alex and then at Holly who was bouncing in anticipation, “It would be wonderful, but I couldn’t. Not unless you let me pay you back for it, or something. It’s always been my dream! I just never expected something like this to happen. Are you sure you want to do this?” He wasn’t sure how this would work out, but he didn’t want to refuse them if they were serious. But he didn’t want to take advantage of them either, he was just glad to have made new friends. Then the clock chimed at 5:30. “OH MY GOD!” Gaven turned off the stoves and ran to his room. “I forgot I have a date tonight! I don’t know what to wear, I didn’t get any flowers or whatever it is you get someone? I need to take a shower and get dressed, and where are we eating?” Gaven was frazzled as he tore through his wardrobe trying to find something suitable.
Marissa looked at Lyna and smiled, “It was nice meeting you too, stop by my place anytime.” She waved as Lyna left, then Marissa noticed Sylvie was a bit anxious. “Oh yea! Sorry Sylvie, I needed to buy some black candles. Big black roman candles if you have any? I need about 7 of them.” She stood up after finishing her tea, she’d pay for them and leave. Sylvie looked nervous, but a bit happy too.

((XD S'okay. Life happens! :glomp:))

Sylvie gave Marissa a strange look. "Big and black, I think I can help you with. Roman, though... I don't sell fireworks here. The hardware store in town might..." But that's not what the girl wanted, really. Sylvie was pretty sure of that. She took a quick glance around her shop, and then grinned at the girl. "Wait here a moment, please."

There wasn't a black candle to be seen in the store at the moment. They weren't in season, and wouldn't be until autumn rolled around, and people started thinking about Halloween. Sylvie tended to sell a lot of orange and black candles then, in all shapes and sizes, but she also tended to have some left over at the season's end.

She pulled a box of last year's Halloween stock out of storage in back, and returned to Marissa. "Let's see..." she muttered, setting it on a mostly vacant table and opening it. There were tapers, votives, scented jar candles, even a few very round candles made to look like jack-'o-lanterns, and she pulled all of these out, setting them aside to reveal a layer of pillars at the bottom of the box. They were tall, thick things, made of beeswax. Sylvie noted that black pillars hadn't been popular last Halloween, though there were two or three orange ones left over as well.

Pulling one of the pillars out, she asked, "Something like this? They won’t explode, but I can let them go for..." She glanced at the old sale tag, and chopped that price in half. "Three each?" They were good beeswax, and would burn for a long time. But it wasn't like they'd been selling. She'd make better pillars this year. "Or there are the big tapers. It looks like there are enough of each..."

Holly grinned at him. “Of course we want to help you! It also gives us something to do.” She said watching him run off. Alex let out a small chuckle. “Well I think you would love having a restaurant and it’s really not much money. You can pay for electrical bills once it’s up and running if you want. It doesn’t really matter to either of us.” He said keeping a grip on Holly so she wouldn’t jump around the room filled with excitement.
“Well, you won’t be late I hope.” Holly said snapping her fingers and a banquet of flowers appeared in her hands. There were all different types including Lilies lilacs daises and a few roses. “You have flowers now, and can just ask her where she’d like to go. As for clothes… Just make sure it’s clean and looks nice.” Holly said loud enough so Gaven could hear her while he got ready.
