(Grr anger...ok I'm over it! lol. I don't mind, anywho, just wanted to apologize...again. My laptop is out until I can buy 1. a new battery and 2. a new power cord. :( all the stories are on there and I can't get to them. *tears glistening in my eyes* but I'll try and get back on ASAP! If you want to start a ooc thread for this that's cool too. anyways i have to go *shh* it's not my computer I had to sneak it... lol)

{Hmmm...what should we do while we wait?}

Marissa smiled up at Sylvie, “These are perfect! Thank you so much, I’ll buy all you have.” And why not, she had the money for them and she’d need these candles for other spells and ceremonies. She hugged Sylvie, “This is great. Ok.” She let go of Sylvie and blushed, she knew not everyone was so accepting of physical contact, “Sorry, I hope I didn’t offend you. I’m just glad to have these candles for…decoration.” She started gathering the money to pay Sylvie for the candles and put her book bag back on when she found the change purse she used to hold her money. “How much for all your black candles?”

Gaven practically jumped in and back out of the shower, dried off and put on a pair of gray slacks and a white button shirt and the plaid over shirt his mother had gotten him for Christmas. He was putting on socks and loafers when he called to Alex and Holly, “What do you think of this outfit?” He stood up, hair still dripping and searching his friends eyes for any extra advice.

"You need to dry your hair...and that plaid thing needs to go. It's really geeky." Holly said smiling slightly. Alex chuckled softly but didn't say anything. He snapped his fingers and made the flowers appear next to Gaven. "Ok, I think you look fine...but I'm a man so what do I know about style." Alex joked.

Gaven took the plaid shirt off and looked at Holly with pleading eyes, “I don’t know what else will go with this shirt and slacks? What do you guys think? I mean…I really like this girl and want to make a good impression.” He looked over at Alex with the same scared eyes.

"Don't worry she'll be impressed. Any girl who is lucky enough to date someone like you will be happy. It doesn't matter what you wear. I just think you should only wear the button down shirt by itself." Holly said. She had to admit Gaven was super sweet and really cute. If she hadn't been in love with Alex she would have had a crush on Gaven. "Gsven, she agreed to go out with you she already likes you. Now just go and be your charming self. Holly seems to like it so I'm sure your date will too." Alex said putting an arm around Holly and chuckling.

Sylvie raised her eyebrows, and accepted the hug. "I'm not offended! Wait, all of them?" She'd had requests like that before, but never this far from Halloween. And never quite this enthusiastically. Then she shrugged, and sorted out the black candles. In total, she scrounged up nine pillars, thirteen black tapers, two stray votives, and, inexplicably, a small blackberry-scented jar candle. How had that ended up with the autumn stock?

Then she pulled a small calculator from her pocket, and talked as she punched in the numbers. "Let's see… With the pillars at three each, the tapers at a dollar fifty, and the votives I can let go for a quarter. I'll throw in the jar. I don't know what I was thinking when I poured that. If you're going to use black wax, go with a musky scent. Fresh berry smells are for summer and summer is for bright colors or pastels,… um." She looked up at Marissa, who probably thought she was crazy. Or maybe just nervous. Of course Sylvie was nervous! She had a date tonight! "How does forty-five sound?"

Marissa laid the money on the counter and smiled at Sylvie, “Thank you so much! This is all of it, and I’ll just put these in my book bag. Oh and have fun on your date tonight!” She winked at Sylvie as she packed up her purchase and went to the door. “Remember to come see me and tell me all about it, all right! Bye” She waved to her friend.

He looked at his friends in gratitude, “Thanks for all your help you guys…I’m sorry I’m ditching you two again.” He looked guiltily at the flowers, “You’ve done so much for me already, and when I get back we’ll talk about the restaurant…That is if you guys haven’t changed your minds by the time I get back.” He fidgeted nervously, unsure if he should take the flowers and leave or have them walk with him to Sylvie’s house. It was going to be a beautiful night and this couple would want to enjoy it too.

"Come on. You don't want to be late. Alex and I will walk you downstairs but then we have some things to do." Holly said opening Gaven's front door. "Don't forget the flowers." She called. Alex was happy for Gaven. "Ok, just remember to be yourself and have fun. We want to here all about it when we see you." Alex said calmly. Holly still had the gitters from being so excited.

Gaven, Holly and Alex walked out of the city and into the countryside where Sylvie lived. As the city lights faded the setting sun struggled to gift the earth with it’s last rays before resting for the night. Just as the sun touched the horizon they arrived at Sylvie’s place, “Thank you. I hope you guys are safe by yourselves, and you guys can go to the apartment whenever your done…or whenever you want to. I’ll see you guys tonight?” He’d turned and looked at the couple in the light of the setting sun, they were a beautiful couple.

Lyna walked around a bit, thinking on how nice it was to get back outside where the nature was. She had made it all the way to the Potion shop before she stopped walking. She looked at the building lost in thought, Hmm....there is more to this place than it appears. Maybe i should wait for Marissa. She decided to wait for the girl, still trying to figure out what the smell was that she got from the girl and the candlemaker, she sat down on the steps.

Sylvie grinned, and rung up the sale. Marissa, it seemed, was in too much of a hurry to wait for a proper bag for her candles. Ahh well, it had been a business to business transaction, anyway, and the girl was agreeable enough. "Thank you! Enjoy the candles, and I'll have to stop by tomorrow and fill you in!" She waved back at Marissa as the girl left, and then promptly closed up shop. There were things to do!

She took a hasty shower, and dried off as quickly as she could. She needed time to dress and freshen up! The dress she'd chosen was a simple dinner dress, a blue cotton blend fabric that matched her eyes. Sleeveless but strapped, with a high neckline and minimal flourishes, it fell delicately just past her knees. She tied it off with a new black sash of similar fabric. Black pantyhose and cute blue dress flats finished off the outfit. And what to do with her hair? She usually wore it pulled back, or up, and experimented with various braids before deciding to let it fall in waves to the small of her back, like it seemed to want to.

A touch of makeup, and a small handbag later, she was ready for Gavin. She hoped she wasn't overdressed.

"Ok Gaven. Don't worry about us. Go have fun. " Hollys eyes seemed to grow brighter as the night darkened. "See you tonight." She said. Alex on the other hand wasn't a fan of the night. It was dark and things came out....things he never felt were safe. Not that it mattered now. Nothing would come and try to find them in the city. Holly took his hand and he waved by to Gaven before they turned and walked away.

Marissa enjoyed the sunset as she walked home with her purchase. She wanted to get some sleep, she regretted pulling an all-nighter. As she approached her home she noticed a girl sitting on the steps. It was Lyna, she wondered what the enchanting creature needed at this time of day. As she came closer she smiled, “Hello again, it’s Lyna right?”

Gaven turned to Sylvie’s place with the flowers in hand and walked up to the house and knocked on her door. His heart was racing and he felt his face was beet red. His mind was racing in a million different directions as he waited for her to answer the door.
