The white tailed teen quietly watched as the blue eyed girl looked up at the stately details above her. His tired gray eyes meticulously observing.

"Shouldn't you be asleep?" he asked. Although he did not speak out loud, his voice traveled throughout the empty chamber. "You have work tomorrow do you not?"

He took a step away from the door and glared at her. Although the architecture was indeed magnificent, he had long lost an appreciation for such things as he busied himself with running his kingdom and keeping himself entertained. His lack of proper sleep over the last five years had really taken its toll on his attitude towards minor details such as these. Argyle thought she was being foolish. She should get as much sleep as she could since she would be helping a lot in the labs. Sleep he wished he could have.

Milli was startled at the young prince's seemingly startled appearance. She quickly got up off the floor and bowed before him. The little bell she carried with her now, rang just a bit. Soft, but loud enough to hear in the silence.

"I'm sorry," she stated, "I must have lost track of time." She was frightened by Argyle's ears, but was soon comforted by the thought that it was only a curse. Her blue eyes looked at the teen and then quickly looked down when she noticed how angry he seemed. "Was I bothering you?" she asked, not quite sure what the answer would be.

Argyle's ears pulled back as he heard the jangling of the bell. To him it was loud and annoying since his weary ears had grown sensitive to noise. He recognized the silver trinket as one of the treasures he had paid her father.

"No, you weren't." was the king's curt reply. "But I suggest you don't show any signs of being tired at work. I will not have useless people in my castle. Is that clear, peasant?" once again reminding her of what he expected of all his servants.

He turned his back on her, his dark silk clothes shimmering in the light of the ballroom chandelier.

"Yes, your majesty," Milli replied. She hadn't liked being called a peasant. Not that she wasn't one, according to money she was though. It's just peasant seemed like a demeaning term, and it was not one she was fond of. Peasant made her feel stupid, which was one thing Milli was not. At the very least, she wasn't a village idiot.

The silver haired girl was quiet until she had left the ballroom and went up the numerous floors until she reached to her room. When there, she rushed to her bedroom, closed the door, and flopped down on her bed. "Arg!" Milli grumpily said as she folded her arms across her chest, "He doesn't have to be so mean." She muttered for a bit, and then, her anger spent, she dressed into her sleepwear. A long, light-brown night gown with short sleeves. She shut off the lights, set her alarm (a golden traditional clock by the bedside table), and then fell deep into sleep. Awaiting the next day's events.

"My sincerest apologies for yesterday, Miss Varia." piped the cheerful scientist as he poured a gray liquid into small test tube filled with a clear liquid. He watched as the clear liquid turned into a dazzling green before fizzling out into a sludgy black. Shani frowned slightly and sighed. He gave the flask of gray liquid to Milli and motioned for her to hand him the flask filled with red liquid beside her. "Dear Olivia held a special conference with the other research labs and decided to forget to remind me." He picked up another test tube of clear liquid and adjusted the lenses on his goggles. "I heard from my assistants' reports that you got quite a lot done yesterday. Well done, well done. But today we have a new batch of plants to attend to. We found three new species from the southeast. One bites, one stings, and one seems quite bori- ah, I mean safe. Please examine each closely. Find out their strengths and weaknesses and write them all down in a report chart. There's a pen in one of the drawers somewhere...."
The purple-haired professor reached out towards a podded plant in front of him with his free hand and pulled out a small bud. He placed it in a nearby petri dish and held out his hand to accept the flask he had asked for.

[I know they're already starting their day but I gotta end mine now :) Goodnight! ]

"That's alright," Milli said as she grabbed the flask, "It seems like Professor Olivia and you don't get along well." The girl had tied her silver hair into a single braid today, so as not to get in the way of her job. It wouldn't do well to have it fall into the many potions which were sitting on the desk at this time. Who knew what was in all those flasks and vials. She pondered in whether to have her hair cut shorted, at least during her stay in the castle.

Once she had given the flask to Shani, Milli looked into the drawers and found a pen in the second drawer down. She found a few papers, of which she assumed were report charts, and decided to grab those as well. "Found one," she said and waited for the purple haired man to be done with his current experiment.

"So, where are these new plants?" the girl asked with bright and eager blue eyes. Although still patient enough to wait for the professor to be finished.

"Oh, let's see..." he said, pouring some of the red liquid onto the petri dish. "I believe they are currently in the lower floor. We're still setting up the space for them here."
The small bud in the dish started to grow into a small leaf, a result that Shani was pleased to see. He then carefully started pouring the red liquid in the flask into the test tube.
"Just head down those stairs." he said, nodding his head slightly to the spiral staircase's direction. "I'm not sure which room they put it in but it would most likely be the only plants down there. The labs in the lower floor are mainly for magic research and plants and animals have to be kept away from the runes and sigils. Something might happen to them, you know. Don't worry about the plants, I'm sure my assistants placed them somewhere relatively safe."
The professor grinned widely as he saw the clear liquid in the test tube turn a dazzling green like before. However, he was soon startled by the sight that caught his eye. The small leaf in the petri dish had now grown into a mature plant and was spreading itself out of its container at an alarming rate. He quickly poured the green liquid down the closest sink and started grabbing some bottles out of a cupboard.
"Esla, take care of this for me for a bit would you?" he called out as he started pouring the bottles' contents into containers and pulling out boxes of powders from drawers.
"Right away sir." came the reply of a young, blue haired researcher who had come running up to the now massive plant.
"Don't worry about this, Miss Varia. We'll have everything under control. You hurry along now." assured the light purple haired scientist as the boy started throwing fireballs at the plant that had now grown a mouth and razor sharp teeth.

The silver haired girl didn't hesitate when the professor had told her to go. She didn't exactly want to be around during the plant's, even if short, life. Milli's steps were quick until she had reached the lower floor labs. She asked a passing lab assistant where there might be a room with a few plants inside.
"Three doors down, and to the left," the lady said not looking up from her box of flasks and other miscellaneous glass bottles.
"Thank you," the girl replied and went to the door. Upon entering the room, it seemed quite empty. A small yellow orb was floating here and there around the room and came to Milli once she had closed the door. "Hm...now where would those plants...Oh, there you are."
The girls blue eyes had found three potted plants sitting a few feet apart from each other. One was a small bush, covered with dark purple roses, the bush seemed to be more prickly than most. The second was a red Nepenthes mirabilis. This one seemed to sway on it's stalk from time to time. The last was a simple white hibiscus plant.
With the yellow orb following her, Milli walked to the rose bush and started to write her reports.

"Shani, where is Olivia?"
Lady Isley was not known for her patience for anyone of lower status than her. Neither was she known to be forgiving of unbecoming behavior. Born into one of the oldest noble families of Digamma, Thema Isley has been groomed since childhood to serve the royal family. The noblewoman raised her emerald peacock feathered fan to cover her mouth and nose. She did not like the stench of chemicals nor the smell of the lab animals. Not even the scented flowering plants seemed to appease her. She stayed by the elevator door, not wishing to take a step further into the wild laboratory. "The Lord Kraz wishes to speak with her."

"Lady Isley, how nice of you to visit." replied the baby-blue eyed scientist. He took his time with his work before facing her. The table where the herbal monstrosity had grown on was now half burnt to a crisp, partially from the blue haired assistant's magic and partially from the corrosive concoction the eccentric Shani had come up with. What remained of the mutated plant were its large pods which the professor had been carefully examining. "I'm sure Professor Olivia is somewhere in the labs. Would you like me to send for her?"

"Please." came the lady's curt reply. A look of disdain never left her sharp golden eyes.

Although Professor Shani put on a cheerful face, he secretly preferred jumping off a cliff to being in the same room as the ever contemptuous Lady Isley. Even Olivia seemed like a fun-loving free spirit compared to this woman. The light purple haired man turned to an assistant to have him call the other head researcher.

Olivia's work had been interrupted when the lab assistant had informed her that Lady Isley was asking for her presence. She sighed, "Run along back to your work. I'll be there presently." The professor then quickly finished writing down her results, taking care to make no mistakes. "Reaviel," She commanded, handing the papers to the assistant, "Finish this up."

Reaviel took the papers and made to finish the experiment. "Yes, ma'am."

The professor then quickly yet elegantly went up the spiral staircase and found Lady Isley in the only spot she would ever be in the lab. "My Lady," Olivia bowed, "What is it that you have called me for?" Olivia put on airs when speaking to her superiors. As much as they might annoy her, Olivia new the importance of acting inferior with her employers. Although Olivia enjoyed Lady Isley, despite certain characteristics of the Lady.

[I'm really sorry white, I've been taking a lot of liberties with the thread even though you made it  I should ask for your input more but I keep getting carried away and forgetting to ask. I haven't even thought about how you'd like beauty and the beast to get closer to each other. So from here on out, I'll be asking more. How did you plan on Milli and Argyle to get to know each other/ fall in love? :)]

"Olivia, his majesty, the king, wishes for you to accompany him to the north. You and a small team from this lab are to investigate what has happened there. You will be joined by the researchers from the public labs and you will lead them. It seems Shani's weapon was effective, however, it appears Emperor Wren's forces were seen aiding the surviving troops of Prince Ororon. Also, a strange disease has afflicted the soldiers who have come into contact with the emperor's forces. You are to investigate it and find a cure. Whoever you wish to bring is up to you." The noblewoman walked back into the elevator and faced the red head one last time. "The king wishes to leave tonight. Please be prepared by then." With that, she closed the elevator doors.

The relieved Shani sighed. "Goodness, that woman seems more menacing than you dear Olivia. How I wish I could join you on the expedition. I would truly love to see that mysterious illness myself, but it seems someone has to watch the labs."

(That's okay. I really don't mind. I'm actually glad you're contributing. As for the two getting close, I think one way is for Argyle to walk in on her doing her magic thingy. Seems the most likely. And I'm thinking at one point Milli should be "shown off" during some sort of a reception. Something like a ball maybe? :))

With Lady Isley gone Oliva went back to her normal stingy self. "If it wasn't for me, this lab would be in ruins." She made a gesture showing off the lab. "I've had to clean up more than enough of your own failed experiments." The professor put her hands down and sighed, noticing the small signs of Shani's previous experiment. "I hope the lab will be in some working order when I return." With that, she went down the spiral staircase and prepared to leave on her journey. She would bring her best assistant Lauri and, of course, a few spell books. When the night came, Professor Olivia was already gone on the journey, quite pleased with herself.

Milli was just about finished with her report, when she had noticed something was off with the white Hibiscus. It seemed a bit more dryer than the other plants. So figuring Shani would have her do the action anyways, she decided to use her magic and figure out what was wrong with the plant. As she caressed it with her hand, the soft green glow appeared. Soon enough, the flower became less wilted and was streaked with red lines, instead of an ordinary white. "Now," Milli spoke to the plant, "Isn't that better?"

[Alright :D I think I know a way for Milli to show off. Two chances to be exact, hehehe. And for the ball, we should have it after a couple of days in story time. For now the king's going up north and probably won't be back until the next day or two. I'll save this spot for now, I gotta go. Sorry for not being on as long as I used to, I got exams and all :) Goodnight]

[Is it ok if I timeskip a little? For the king it's already the next day but for Milli it'll just be at noon or later in the afternoon. I'll edit it if you want something else :)]

"Hmm. What a lackluster sight." mused the king as he looked over the battlefield. The morning that he and his entourage had arrived at the northern province of Sennia, a thick fog had rolled in, blocking the teen's view of his victory. "Well, at least we don't have to do cleanup duty." he said with a grin as he kicked the ashy remnants of his enemy's army that lay on the wet ground. He made his way over to the camp set up for his injured soldiers, passing by the makeshift barracks of his forces.
"Anything on Wren's soldiers?" he asked Kraz, who had been speaking to a few lieutenants.
"According to the reports, they seemed to have retreated your majesty." Kraz flipped through some files he seemed to always have with him. "However, all of Ororon's men have been completely destroyed."
"Tch. What's Wren up to?" Argyle was frustrated that he wasn't able to get any more information on his arch nemesis, the man who had turned him into a monster. "It's not like him to just send in troops for nothing. Ororon was obviously going to lose." His cold gray eyes looked at the soldiers who had been infected. They were lying on cots within the tents, being tended to by Olivia's underlings. It seemed the disease was magic based, almost like a curse. Dark green markings were all over the soldiers' bodies and were shaped like runes, draining them of their energy. The tailed king walked into one of the tents where Olivia was. "Any progress on this 'illness'?" he asked the red headed researcher.

"Hello? Is Milli here?" a brown haired girl asked as she peered around a plant into the main research are of the jungle-esque underground lab. The girl seemed excited, her bright brown eyes were lit with something she couldn't wait to tell. She wasn't even bothered by the fact that the creepy Professor Shani might be lurking around.
"Yeah, she's here somewhere." replied the blue haired boy who had assisted with the control of the monster plant. "Want me to look for her?"
"That'd be great! Thanks Leon." the lavender clad girl replied.
The young lab worker went around the facility asking the other researchers on the silver haired healer's whereabouts and also tried calling out her name, as was how the workers often looked for each other in the vast floors.

(That's fine. And I don't mind the timeskip or you not being on as much. Real life comes first. :))

The red head was looking through the many books of magic she had brought, when the king walked into her tent. "Progress is slow, Your Majesty," she said not looking up, "I've found one, maybe two possible curses of which might be the source of this illness." Olivia got up from her desk and went over to another magic book. "It seems to be some sort of a Bloodlack curse. We're going to try several methods of healing magics to see if it has any effect. With your permission of course, Your Majesty." She turned and bowed at this.

At this moment a blonde headed girl came into the room. "Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting Professor," the girl hastily stated, "But one of our soldiers has hit critical condition, he may not live for much longer. What should we do?"

Olivia turned to the king, "May I start the experiments, Sir?"

Milli had been working on fixing a rather difficult plant, when she heard some one call out her name. "I'm over here! By the waterfall!" She replied. And continued on her project, as she waited for the workers to reach her. The green and blue spotted Pteridales were having a difficult time adjusting to their new habitat. It seemed as if they longed for home. Milli was silently trying to convey that the plants would have good care during their life at this new home of theirs.

"Very well." was his concise reply. He decided to watch her work. Seeing how the illness will react to the procedures could give him an idea for the next battle. He may be arrogant but never denied a chance to study. Being knowledgeable was always a good reason to be haughty and increased chances for him to see the defeated looks on his enemies' faces.
__________________________-

"Milli! guess what?!" Lily exclaimed excitedly as she made her way through a few plants and towards the waterfall. "You're coming with me tonight! We're going out shopping!!!" Lily was literally jumping for joy. "There's going to be a gala in three days!! Isn't this exciting?!"

"What?"
"The ball's already here?"
"Aww man! I still haven't gotten any new clothes."
"I have to get those shoes by tonight. I'll be too busy tomorrow and the day after that!!"
"How could the whole month fly by like that?"
"That's cause we're workaholics, idiot!"

It seemed the whole lab was astir with the news. The Digamma Annual Royal Ball. It was held every year for the allies of Digamma. The leaders of various nations came to the castle for this dazzling gala. It was a way to relieve the leaders from the stresses of wars and to reinforce friendships. Despite the lab assistants worries, Lily's upbeat nature was unwavering. "All palace employees are to attend and that includes you." she continued, pointing her finger to the tip of the silver haired girl's nose. "Lady Isley told me to make sure you wore good clothes, although she could have been nicer about it." Lily frowned slightly as she remembered the demeaning words the noblewoman used when referring to anyone of low status. "Well, forget about that old lady!" the brown haired girl said, waving her hand as if to shoo away the memories, "We're getting some awesome clothes for an awesome ball! When do you get off?"

"Unfortunately, not anytime soon. We could be pulling an all nighter." came the unexpected reply of the baby-blue eyed head researcher. Lily immediately froze where she was, daring not to move.

"C'mon prof, we'll be too busy tomorrow and the day after anyway."
"Yeah, let us off early today will ya? Cut us some slack?"
"I need to get that dress and the gala sale's only tonight!"
"Please? We promise to work overtime tomorrow and the day after! Even on the day of the ball."

Shani quietly listened to the pleas of his underlings, considering what he should do. Although he wasn't as strict as Olivia, he felt that work and getting it done on time was a priority. They had quotas to fill, research data to file, and reports to hand in to his grumpy majesty. But the lab workers' persistent beggings finally got him to cave in.

"All right, pack it up, pack it up! We're done for today. Don't do anymore. HIP HIP HOORAY! That's all folks." he reluctantly replied, waving his arms around in a strange manner before finally slouching over forward in defeat.
The lab exploded with cheers as many of the assistants tossed up their files and papers. Some even glomping the eccentric professor. Even though he said they could leave early, the lab workers responsibly finished up whatever work was almost done and would leave early in the evening.

"I'll meet you in your quarters when you're done, ok Milli?" the palace worker said before she headed back to the upper floors. She was eager to start their girl's night out.

[I'm sure you've already guessed, this whimsy professor is based off a certain whimsy professor from a certain anime *cough* Code Geass *cough* :D And I'll be hitting the hay again, sorry. I've been on since 11 pm and it's now 4 a.m, hehe. Today's my last day of classes! HIP HIP HOORAY! Goodnight!]

The red haired professor followed her assistant to the infirmary tent, carrying two things. A spell book and a bottle of some strange red liquid. The assistant led her to the dying man, who was actually rather still for someone so sick. Olivia turned toward the young man beside the soldier, "Aivery, I'm going to need you to hold the man down for a moment." The black haired assistant did as he was told and braced for what might happen, as Olivia turned to the king, "Precautionary measures. We never know what might happen." On that note she took the bottle, sprinkled some of the red liquid on the soldier, and began to read from the spell book.

A red light swirled around the soldier and after a few minutes it was gone. The dark green rune marks had also disappeared. "I believe we've found the cure," Olivia closed her book and turned to the king.

"Shopping!?" Milli had exclaimed when Lily told her the news, "A ball?" The silver haired girl brushed her bangs out of the way. She was slightly baffled at the fact of being invited to one, but soon realized that all of the employees would be coming as well. She was glad for the rest of the day off and told the brown haired girl she'd come as soon as she was finished up with her current job. Once Lily had left, Milli went back to the plant and finished up her work.

In half an hour she had thanked Professor Shani, and headed up to her room. Once there she excitedly embraced Lily. "I can't believe it! I'm going to a ball!" She let go of Lily and calmed down a bit, "But, I don't have any money for a new dress. How will I get one?"

(I probably would have figured that out if I'd ever seen that show. Which sadly I haven't. :XD Glad you're done with classes. For the holidays at least. :) Breaks are nice.)

[Thanks :D though I wish I could slim down a bit more for the holiday family visits. I plan on eating A LOT  Well, here's the part where I got Shani's dismissal line from, though I didn't see the episode he did this in either... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-jALEVEo9k]

"Hmph, Well done." he said in a respectful way. Or at least, as respectful as he could get. Argyle, although somewhat prideful, never forgot to give credit where credit was due. The quickness with which the head researcher had found the cure proved that she deserved her high position. Olivia's sharp mind and deep knowledge of the arcane were a few of the reasons the king had appointed her co-leader of the royal Science and Magic Research Facility. That and the fact that she could efficiently keep the strange Shani's experiments in line. "I expect my soldiers to be in top form before we return to the palace."
He left the tent and continued his patrol around the camp, making sure the lieutenants and generals kept him up to date on anything. Argyle had not slept on his way to Sennia and he didn't want to as long as they were here. His enemy could make another move at any moment and he wanted to be alert no matter what the cost.

"Don't worry about it! One of the perks of working for the secret facilities of the palace is that you get paid in advanced if you have shown impressive abilities during your first days of work. Clearly Professor Shani was impressed with you." Lily replied with a grin, ushering Milli into her room so that she could change out of the lab coat she had been given. The palace servant waited outside the bedroom door and continued to talk.
"Can you believe Professor Olivia came up with that policy? I thought she was a stickler for the rules but I guess she also advocates necessary changes. She managed to convince his majesty to accept her policy in only 20 minutes of debate! If I remember correctly, she said something along the lines of...because most of the new employees came from war torn areas, they can't afford many of the basics needed to live in the city such as food and rent, much less taxes. That's why an advance is given to those who show promise. It also keeps them working hard I guess...." she said, looking out the great windows at the glowing city. The many lights seemed like a festival of fireflies. "That's why I'm giving you your credit card, fully loaded and everything."

Olivia quickly went to work, sending her assistants to retrieve more of the ingredient when needed. In this way she healed all of the soldiers in critical condition. After a few more incantations, the professor called it a night. She knew the importance of sleep when dealing with magic. One needed rest when dealing with energy. Before retiring to her tent, Olivia told Lauri, her assistant, to wake her if any of the soldiers were reaching their death beds. By tomorrow she hoped that all the soldiers would be in good health, and she could get back to her work at the castle.

"Wow that's awesome!" Milli called out from her bedroom. She took off her lab coat and placed it into the laundry chute. She new it'd come back all clean in the morning, although she still wondered how they did it. She undid her long braid, grabbed her black jacket and came out of her room. "Olivia did that?" the silver haired girl asked, "She doesn't seem the type to be so nice. But then again, everyone has a silver lining." She smiled not able to contain her excitement, "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" She headed out the door and to the elevator eager for the little adventure she'd have in the city.

The two girls headed down to the first floor then out he majestic glass doors. Getting into a sleek limousine accompanied by a few other people who worked with Lily. They soon drove off into the glittering night. The tall buildings each had a different design but they complimented each other. Bright holographic signs were dancing above the stores they represented. It seemed everybody was enjoying themselves tonight. The sidewalks were filled with crowds going in and out of stores and restaurants, nightclubs and movie theaters. "Wanna shop first, then eat? Or eat first, then shop?" she asked Milli.

[I'm not sure if I can stay on long...If I do log off without warning or posting anything else, then I apologize in advance. I probably might not be back until later tonight or tomorrow :)]

[Ok, turns out I just have enough time to properly say goodbye :D Goodnight/Good Early Morning~]

Milli gazed at the buildings. She had only gone to the city once, a long time ago on a trip with her father, so the sights were still just as new. She was amazed at the beautiful mass of concrete walls around her. She was used to the numerous foliage in the country, but both seemed equally beautiful to her. The silver haired girl's excitement was barely containable, but then she noticed a small growl coming from her stomach. She looked at Lily bashfully, "How about we eat first? What's your favorite spot around here?"

(That's okay. Good Night/Morning then. It's early morning for me. :))

[Sorry white, I won't be on for the holiday season  This'll be my last post for a while, but I'll try to get on when I can during the next week or two. Can't guarantee anything though since I'll be frequently on the road to visit all my relatives :) Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!]

"Oh! Oh! There's this new seafood restaurant at the Helios Tower! The food there is divine!!" the brown eyed girl exclaimed, practically drooling at the thought. "It just opened last month but it's already so popular. I really love the shrimp and lobster bisque but one of the ways they serve the fish creeps me out a little, even though everybody else says it's delicious. They serve it raw, can you believe it? They call it soo-she? Or something..." Lily motioned for the driver to head for one of the tall buildings overlooking the central city park.

"But it's seriously good, Lily!" remarked one of the boys in the car.
"Yeah, you should try it! And you too Miss Milli. I'm sure you'll love it!" said a woman in a classy black silk dress.

All Lily could do in reply was make a face at them. The party soon arrived at the bottom of a majestic green and black building. All the floors were lit up and the smell of food welcomed them as they got out of the dark limousine. Lily was careful not to get her red silk cheongsam caught in the door as she climbed out. "The restaurant will be at the top floor. Getting up there via the stairs is always a good way to build up an appetite." she joked.

(That's fine. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. :) Have fun with those relatives.)

"A seafood restaurant?" Milli asked, "Sounds interesting." She smiled and laughed when Lilly had trouble saying sushi. "But it's the best way to eat fish. We have smoked or salted salmon all the time at my house. And that's practically raw right there."

The silver haired girl got out of the limo and followed the group up to the restaurant. It was quite the quaint little place. Decorated in red and gold colors with a few cute white lucky cat statues on the tables. "Aw," Milli said as the waiter had seated the group, "This place is adorable. Definitely worth the walk."

[Hey white :D I finally got to post something :boogie: How was your Christmas?]

"Yes, definitely!" Lily replied. Soon the food was served and the group boisterously enjoyed their meal. Lily didn't get to eat her lobster in peace, however, since her companions kept trying to dump sushi onto her food. After the hearty dinner, the party left for the shopping district. Various buildings surrounded a stone, light filled plaza. A majestic fountain stood in the center of it, spouting a colorful aquatic display that changed every half hour. All the buildings in this area were connected by multiple walkways high above the ground. They entered a white building, almost composed entirely of glass. Bright lights illuminated all the beautiful clothes on display and the many shoppers moving within.

"So, here we are! Boutique Emain Ablach, the classiest dress store in town. Well, see you guys later," the woman in the black dress said, as she headed off for another building with some of the other castle servants, "Looking forward to what you guys wear!"

"Thanks Marie!" the brown haired girl called out and made her way into the store. "So, what style of dress do you like Milli? Long and elegant or short and sexy?" She smiled and did a little hip shake after saying the last words.

(not bad. Little bit of drama, but that's normal. :XD How was yours?)

Milli had fun at the dinner and was a little sad to see the group break off when they had reached the dress store. But she knew she'd see them soon anyways. The ball was only a few days away. The girl gasped when the two had entered the store. There were so many beautiful and amazing dresses in the store. There were all sorts of different cuts, sizes and colors. It was as if she had entered a rainbow.

The young girl looked over at Lily and giggled at her pose, "Well, I tend to like the longer dresses over the short," she laughed, "Must be cause I'm from the country." She headed towards what seemed to be the section for the long dresses.

[Mine's was good, though I wish I got more presents :XP But I'm already too big for as many as I used to get, I'll just have to be content with all the money I got, lol  Just kidding, but seriously it was a pretty ok Christmas. Never again shall we do last minute gift shopping  ]

Lily smiled as she watched Milli wander around the long dress section in search of what she would wear. The brown haired girl also decided it was time she looked for her own dress and walked off towards another area of the store. Unfortunately, she was torn over whether to get an eastern or western style dress and for a long time, stood between two sections simply thinking about which side to go to. Finally settling for a frilly looking white dress, she brought it to the counter and gave her credit card to the registrar.
