Sami agreed with Ai and settled in a P-bed. she ordered the wall for a nice thing bed she saw in the village for sam.

Ai got a bed from the wall in Sami's room. There were only two bedrooms, so Sam agreed to share with Kaito. "Can you believe that not so long ago we were Uglies living in that city with no clue about the world? And we didn't even know each other then," said Ai as she got into bed.

"Scary thought... do you think Sam will cope with the op? i hope he does.. what should i ask the doctors to make of him?" she replied.

"Shouldn't it be up to him?" asked Ai. "Although, I suppose he doesn't know about the cliques and trends... I think a Manga-head look would suit him. Give him big anime eyes..."

"Ai think about it... if he knows he's off to get the op tomorow he'll throw a tantrum and plus he would just want to stay the way he is... but you're right big anime eyes would fit him best... i wanna tone his muscles a little too... you know" Sami giggled.

"Well you can change him the way you want. Then you'll have your dream guy," laughed Ai. "Once he sees his reflection, he's not going to want to go back, is he?"

"unless i turn him into einstein lique styl!!! haha but then i wouldnt! lol" Sami laughed and drifted off to sleep.

Ai fell asleep herself, and she dreamt of hovercams with Einstein hairstyles...

Sami couldnt remember her dream the next morning when she woke up.
She went to Sam's roomt to find him all ready to go for his op, although he didnt know it was a op.
"Ready Sam?" Sami and Sam left to go to the hosp, they were followed by hovercams but Sami used one of her dad's inventions to scare them off.

Sami was waiting anxiously in the waiting room, she was waiting for the docs to tell her to come in and see Sam, the op had just finished and he was recovering. they also made sure that he didnt remember anything about his village. When the doc showed her in she thanked him and went over to sam, she couldnt help but gasp.. he looked prettier than any other pretty!

"Are you sure it's OK to let them go off on their own?" asked Kaito as he and Ai had breakfast. They'd both slept in and were eating their morning meal out on the balcony together.
"They'll be fine," Ai reassured him, biting into a muffin. "Sami's got all these cool gadgets her dad made which can scare off hovercams."
"I wonder if we'll recognise Sam when we see him again..."
"I don't know. I think Sami wanted to give him a manga-head look."
"Manga-heads are the best," Kaito grinned.
"Definitely."

Ai finished her breakfast and leaned back in her seat. "They should be coming back soon. Surge should have finished by now..."

Sami popped her head round the balcony, "hey guys! wanna see my new and improved anime lovemachine?!" She laughed and Sam walked on the balcony, "hey!"

"Oh. My. Pretty. Is that really you, Sam?" asked Ai.

"Actually no its not Sam, i want to change my name to Thunder." when he said thunder his eyes flashed.
"WOW sam i mean Thunder i didnt know they did that to you..." Sami exclaimed.
" i asked them too." Thunder smiled.

"Thunder... good name," said Kaito.
"I've just realised," said Ai. "From that story we kicked, we got loads of merits, so we can go get surge too! I'm not a surge monkey but I'd like to make a few... adjustments to my look."

"sooo true! lol i forgot.. but i like my look so i think ill keep my merits for later." sami said and looked at Thunder.

"What were you thinking of changing?" asked Kaito.
"I was going to get a flash tattoo since they're coming back in fashion..."
"I'll go with you to the surge then," he said. "Can you two look after the apartment?" he asked Sami and Thunder.

Sami and Thunder nodded, "Sure thing, have fun!" Sami winked at Ai and she saw Sam i mean Thunder nudge Kaito.

Just sami and thunder in the apartment now. Thunder was trying out weird stuff from the hole and Sami was surfing the feeds.

After her surge, Ai had a golden flash tattoo on her left palm and she'd replaced the white jewels in her eyes with gold ones. She walked out of the room and met Kaito just outside.
"Let's see the tattoo?"
Ai held up her hand, with the wildly spinning golden tattoo on it. Kaito grinned. "Suits you."

"Hey Thunder check this out, the Explores Clique are holding a party tonite and the Rye House! They're hoping we'd go!" Sami told Thunder, who sat next to her and looked at the feeds.
"We should totally go!" he grinned wildly. thunder really suited him, no more old Sam whines.

Kaito and Ai arrived back at the apartment, Ai proudly sporting her new tattoo.
"Heyya you two! Anything interesting happen while we were gone?"

"OMP i love your tattoo Ai!!!" Sami examined Ai's tattoo, "Yes actually, there is a party tonight at Rye's house, the Explorers organized it and want us to go!!!"

Thunder gazed at Ai's tattoo, "that is thunderously amazing!! Kaito what did you get?"

Kaito shrugged. "I got surge two weeks ago, I'm good."
"A party?" exclaimed Ai. "Wow, they'll be over the top happy if we go!"

"o rite..." Thunder said.

"I know they will!! haha... but... Kaito we arent actual pretties from this city surely the specials would be on us by now?" Sami asked Kaito
