"So... these people may be coming after you again?" asked the Chief.
Ai nodded. "Probably. We should leave as soon as we're sure Sam is all right. I'm not sure if Sam himself is safer here or with us..."

Sami nodded and looked out of the hut in the direction of Sam's hut, some women came out deep in discussion and were making their way to the chief's hut.
She didnt know whether to say something or not, "I just want to say how sorry we are, again... "

The Chief's expression remained grave. "Sam was put in danger because he went with you. Your people are clearly very dangerous to us and we would be wise to avoid you. But I can see that it is not your fault personally. You did not intend for this to happen."
Ai breathed a sigh of relief.

Sami sighed, " if he does wish to come, he may. We will do our best to protect him but we can promise anything." she proceeded.

The Chief paused again. "These evil ones you spoke of... they did this to my son. They will try to do it again. I do not want that to happen."
Ai nodded seriously. "I udnerstand."

The chief got up, "Do finish your drink, i must check my son." With that he left the hut.
Sami looked at Ai, "Ai... we have a problem! What if the Specials are tracking us down here and they come and raid this place even after we left... we cant let that happen!!"

Ai bit her lip. "There's nothing much we can do about that... all we can do is get Sam away from here. But we can't take the whole village with us!"

"Yes i know we can't take the whole village with us... but we should warn them that it might happen... its not fair on them!!" Sami wailed, this sucked... why did the specials want them so badly?! Grrr...

Sami looked at the hut where Sam was being... treated? The chief was in there with the weird but kind and strict ladies...

Kaito was awake now and was instantly by Ai's side. "I was wondering where you'd gone," he said.
Ai smiled at him and peered over the chief's shoulder to look at Sam.

"What are they do-" Sami started to ask but immidiatly three women were on her and tying sticky stuff around her mouth to make her shut up... she looked at Kaito and Ai for help... "Mhiofgnsmmmmdfsammmhmnmkd!!!!!"!!!"

*umm... not sure what to do... what exactly is going on?!*

*teehee no idea... these women just kinda pounced on me for talking... maybe they blame me for what happened to their chief's son... :P?*

Kaito instantly drew his pistol and pointed it at the advancing women. "What are you doing?"
They snarled in their own language and Ai looked desperately at the Chief for any kind of translation.

Sami struggled in their grip but managed to kick one in the stomach and she went flying, but then one had her throat.. "argh what the?" Samie kicked and struggled but the chief just looked at her with a menacing smile, shit this people are vicious and shit im gonna die! sami thought!

"You will pay for what happened to my son," said the chief, drawing a rusty dagger from his belt.
"You think killing us is going to help?!" Ai burst out, running forward to stand with Sami. Kaito still had his pistol trained on the women.

sami was feeling light headed, if this mad woman didnt let go... they would need to use the dagger, bublebublebuble... pretty pink bubles... argh shit shit im losing it im LOOOOSING IT!!! but then she heard a small weak voice from in the tent,
"Dad... daddy.. dont... i /i i.. love her.. please daddy let her go..." at those words the chief's face softened and the woman got up letting go of Sami who fell to the ground with a hard thud, she puked right there and felt her throat it was sore and she could barely breath, she struggled to crawl to Kaito's feet where she threw up again and then collapsed.

"Sami!" Ai ran to her side and checked her pulse and breathing - she was fine.
Sam was sitting up. His eyes had a haunted look, and he looked too pale, but apart from that he was fine. He said something in the village people's language and his father suddenly embraced him.

pretty pink bubbles... o lalalalaaaaa pretty pink pinky pinky buuuuubbles... shit im dead arent i? im travelling to afterland... of nowhereness... meh i wish i had Sam.. the only romance in my life.. even if he was... how to say.. ugly?! Sami's body jolted and threw up some more, this time with blood... she needed an opp ASAP...
Thats when she heard it... a scream a boy's scream... she forced her eyes open and saw Sam on the floor clutching at the dagger in his belly, the chief laughed, "Its not over yet!"

Kaito's finger pulled at the trigger and he shot the Chief square in the chest. Ai grabbed Sami's arm and pulled it over her shoulder, lifting herfriend to her feet. Kaito grabbed Sam, his Pretty muscles allowing him to easily lift him, and they made a run for the hovercar.
"We need to get to a city!" said Ai. "They need surge!"

Sami was out again, her head lolled from side to side... she wondered if they would make it in time for sam... what would he look like after surge.. would she kiss him finally?

Kaito put Sam down gently in the back of the hovercar while Ai fired it up, lifting off the ground. She sent out a signal to catch onto the nearest city feeds, so that they could find a city. She blocked Taiyou, and their own city, since ti would be stupid to go back there again.

Sami lay there in the hovercar next to Sam's limp body, they both needed immediate opperations to survive... she hopes they would find a city soon. Sami went unconscious.

Just when Ai had almost lost hope, she started picking up feed signals that she didn't recognise. And it wasn't too far away. She put the speed up to max, ignoring the warning that they were running low on power. They had enough to reach this city, at least, even if it was all completely nurmed out by the time they got there.

At full speed, it wasn't too long until they reached the city. Ai sent the hovercar to auto, setting it to land on the hospital. Kaito had applied medspray, the only first aid equipment in the car, to Sam's wound, but he was still losing a lot of blood.
Ai lifted up Sami, while Kaito lifted Sam, and they rushed them into the hospital.
Luckily, the doctors didn't ask too many questions and got the two of them into the operating theatre.
"We won't question for now why there is an Ugly with you," said one of the doctors. "But we're going to have to give him The Operation. It's the only way to save him."
"That's fine," said Ai.
Ai and Kaito were sent to a waiting room, and were called into what looked like a ward after the oeprations were compelte. Sam and Sami were in aprallel beds, fast asleep. Sam, though was so similar to before, yet so different. It was still clear that this was Sam, but he looked so... perfect. Like every flaw had been removed and only his positive features remained.
