Sami was already waiting with Sam and Davide when Ai came.

"Hi... eur I is Davide." Davide tried in the little english he knew. He smiled a crooked smile.

"I'm Ai," she smiled, trying to ignore the fact that he was painfully ugly. "Should we go? We'll have to ride double on the hoverboards."
Davide looked as though she had just spouted a load of gibberish.

Sam saw the look on his friends face and quickly translated what Ai had said.
"He wants to ride with me." Sam said.
"Uhm Sam thts not possible, you cannot ride a hoveboard it takes years of training, so you'll have to double with me and Davide with Ai." Sami explained.
Sam translated it to Davide, who looked longily at Ai and Sami.

"Come on, let's go," said Ai, helping Davide onto her hoverboard. She took out her crash bracelets and put them around his wrists, seeing as he was more likely to fall off than she was. "Hold on," she told him, miming so that he'd understand.

Sami had thought that spare crashbracelets were always useful, she chucked one to Ai, "You never know!"
She put one on Sam's wrist, he held onto her, "uhm Sam ur gonna have to let go i need to get you one the hoverboard..."
He let go and let her help him behind her on the hoverboard, "Put your arms around my waist, we're gonna take off!!"

Ai slipped her crash bracelets on, thanking Sami. Then she activated her hoverboard, leaping into the air.

Sami nodded at Ai, then checked Sam and activated her hoverboard,
"ANNNND WERE OFFF!!! hahaha...." Sami cried out of joy, she could sense Sam's confusion...

Davide's body went instantly tense and he shut his eyes and clung onto Ai. She soared through the air.
"Um... this is the right way, right Sami?" she called over the wind.

"Ye i'll take the lead just follow me steadily," Sami reassured Sam that she was good at this and then shouted to Ai, "There's a forest over there! We're gonna have to swerve round the trees, so Davide and Sam cling on!!"

Getting back into the swing of flying her hoverboard, Ai swerved through the trees. Glancing behind her for a spilt second, she saw that Davide had closed his eyes, and he was still clinging on tight.
"Where does the vein underground end? We don't want to fall into the mud like last time!"

"Im not sure" She called back. Then Sami saw the end t was right in front of them she swerved in split second to the right then they fell and she swerved left to regain balance on the thin spread out strips of metal. She hoped Ai was doing the same.

Suddenly the hoverboard began to plummet down to the ground, but Ai managed to swerve at the last second back onto the vein, so they didn't fall.
"That was close! We shouldn't be far from the city now!"

Sami shot Ai a look,
"What city? i thought we were going to your realm?" Sam asked suddenly dislodging himself from Sami, Davide did the same because Sam was doing it, unfortunately Davide wasn't as secure as Sam.
"Hold ON ARE YOU CRAZY>?! Sam hold me by the waist and dont let go! Tell Davide the same!!"

Ai reached behind her with one arm and grabbed Davide roughly by the front of his shirt. They change in balance made the hoverboard swerve dangerously, but they stayed in the air.
"Yes, in our realm is a city where we live," Ai told Sam.

Sami was relived by Ai's reply but saw she was struggling to hold on to Davide.
"Sam... you hold on to me NOW and tell your friend to do the same or you both die down there!" She hissed to Sam pointing at the murky ugly gloopy sucking up mud down below.

Sam called something in his people's language to Davide, and hsi friend held back onto Ai, allowing her to let go of his shirt.
"Idiot," she muttered under her breath.

Sami was glad they were back on track, "Rite Ai we are gonna stop at the cave to rest for the night." she needed to talk to Ai, Sam seemed to know much more than they should risk...

"But we're almost th-" Ai stopped when she realised that this was probably because Sami wanted to talk to her. "OK then, probably the best idea." She landed the hoverboard on the ground and got her water purifier out of her bag.

As soon as they landed Sam pulled Sami aside, "Listen, i want to go to your realm, i am trusting you with my life to bring me to your promised destination, do not ruin this, Goddess." He looked at her and walked off to the cave and sat down. he looked sad, she thought.

Well she needed to talk to Ai, she walked over to Ai, "we need to talk." she mouthed.

"Sam," said Ai. "Could you and Davide please gather some water from the stream and put it in these, please." She handed them some flasks with water purifiers attached to the opening.
Sam gave both Ai and Sami a look, but left all the same, translating what she'd said to Davide.
Ai turned to Sami. "What are we going to do? We've got to tell them the whole story, they'll find out soon enough anyway."

Sami regarded Sam, he sure kept an eye on them, "He know too much already... and Davide will do anything Sam does.. Davide doesnt trust us... i dont know." she sighed... "Maybe i should tell Sam... he likes me enough, ill try and convince him,"

"Well if they're both coming back with us, they're going to have to know the truth," said Ai firmly. "Btter they find out sooner rather than later. Maybe Sam can explain to Davide, once you've explained to him?"

Sami sighed, "Alrite i'll talk to Sam tonite, when Davide is asleep and when you can keep an eye out on him." Sami started gathering her courage... she didnt feel like telling Sam, partially because she didnt want to lose him and partially because it might ruin their plan.

"OK, good luck," said Ai, just as Davide and Sam returned. They drank some of the water, and Ai made some dehydrated food, which fascinated them.
"Good night, I'm tired," lied Ai, and she lay down, pretending to be asleep. She needed to stay awake so that she could make sure Davide was.

Sami puffed a sigh and went over to Sam who was getting ready to lie down too, she prodded him and smiled her most irresistable smile ever, he fell for it and followed her outside the cave into the cool starry night.
Sam had his hands in his pockets, "Sam... i need to confess something." Sam looked up surprised and shocked... he was expecting the worst , she guessed. but what was the worst for him?
"Me and Ai, we are no Godesses, we are pretties, humans who turn Perfectly Pretty at the age of 16. Please understand. We want to help your people, get them into the city and get them Pretty, let them experience the real thing." She was expecting Sam to explode but she misjudged him,
"Sami... u are like a Godess to us, but i always knew that you weren't who you said to be. I will return with Davide to our vilage tomorow. I cannot come with you, because our village is the real thing, as you put it." he started to walk away but she grabbed his arm, "Wait... Sam think about it, it'll be a whole new experience, use it as a report to tell your people, i will make sure you can return to them afterwards, honestly." Sam looked at her for a minute, then sighed, "Alrite but if i cannot return to my village our friendship and everything we ever had or will have will be lost!"

Sami was confused when she went to "bed", Sam was talking about them together as if... oh she didn't know, anyway Sam was still coming with them to the city for long enough to get the operation done, so that he forgot about him and his village.
