This is the RP thread for Astraea and Captain Pains. C:

Our story, if your interested, is about a fallen angel who meets a very friendly demon outcast on Earth...

And it goes from there~

So I'll start:

In a distant grassy field, far away from any town's or city's, what looks like to be a young boy, was sitting in the field staring up into the sky. He didn't have a name, but people who knew him referred to him as Kyle. He didn't care what others called him, a name was just a useless word to grab a hold of someone's attention. He preferred for people to walk up to him and talk, instead of shouting out.

Kyle enjoyed looking up to the sky, hoping he could see an angel fly through the clouds. He admired the Angel's ability to fly. Not bound to earthly limitations. His interest in the Angelic species caused him to become an outcast and common enemy. What for, though? Well, Kyle was a demon, raised to hate those of the Angelic species. This just didn't suit him very well. All Kyle wanted, really, was peace between both creatures. The humans, however, were just in between the two waring creatures. That didn't stop them from interacted, though.

Over the century's, Angels and Demons have been able to blend in peacefully into society. Living out their daily lives. The humans, however, didn't know that other creatures are among them. Each race had their own 'special' buildings, seperate from the humans and opposing race. The Demon's created bar's while the Angel's created churches, only met for their race and no one else. At these locations, a demon or angel can freely speak to others of their kind, exchange information and simply just chat.

Kyle, however, was not allowed to any of these locations. One, in fear of being killed by the other demons, and Two, because of his treachery, his face is recognizable to all demon's.

He just sat in the grass, watching the sky, with a smile on his face, hoping to see something of his interest.

Aurora was a busy angel. As were most. Her day usually consisted of looking at papers and approving things or delivering things. That is what she did and what every angel would say she was born for. She did her job and talked to other angels every day. She would always have the same job unless she was saw fit to be... promoted as the humans would say. Though she felt something was wrong today. Then it came. A small white letter delivered by another angel. Of course she didn't deliver letters that was left to someone else. But it was odd not many angels got letters. She was a bit hesitant before she opened the letter and read it. It stated that she was to see one of the Archangels. She felt her eyes grow wide, this couldn't be she hadn't done anything wrong... maybe they were moving her up...

She made her way to Brayden's building. Entering the tall white building she tucked her wings securely to her back and walked forward to a large white desk. Everything was white where she worked. "Aurora . I see you've made it on time." A deep masculine voice stated from behind her. She jumped a bit. "Yes ArchAngel, it is my duty to answer your request." She said simply. He passed her his green eyes watchful. She smiled tugging at her blond locks of hair. Skin, eye, and hair color were the only colors in this place.

"I hate to tell you this but...." he began and dread overwhelmed her at his words, "you are leaving. Forever." He told her his voice growing a bit colder every second. "May I ask why I am... leaving?" she asked choking on the word. Then she was falling through the clouds and her mind started screaming at her to do something about it. A silver light surrounded her as she fell and her wings took on a deep gray color.

Her wings opened right before she hit the ground and she rolled several feet. At least she wasn't in the middle of a city. Pushing herself up she noticed she had a couple bruises and some small open cuts. Then she noticed that she landed right in front of a guy.... and he was smiling. She didn't say anything just stared for a moment before going back to counting her wounds. And her mind kept repeating what she already knew. She was fallen. She'd never be able to go back... she could fly but never all the way through the clouds.... Then she looked at the guy... "Who are you?" she asked her voice strong, clear. At least she could manage that.

A slight breeze began to pick up as Kyle continued to stare into the sky. He closed his eyes to enjoy the small breeze that felt so good on his skin. Sitting in the sun wearing a dark red T-Shirt, Black skinny jeans and white converse, Kyle began to feel a little overheated. The breeze quickly corrected the problem, even if it lasted a short minute.

The silence didn't last long, for in a short second, Kyle heard a large thunk before him. He opened his eyes to see a girl. A girl? Where did she come from? He felt concerned about the stranger, he noticed that she had some open wounds. If nothing was applied to those wounds, they would get infected. Kyle didn't like germs, even on other people.

"Y-you should get those scares cleaned and fresh bandages applied to them, quickly!" He said, ignoring her question.

Aurora stared at him. He was worried about her wounds when she just dropped out of the sky? She pushed the thought around in her head for a moment before shaking her head. "That's not important right now." she muttered more to herself than to him. Looking down at her clothes she noticed her white dress was ripped down the side. And boy did it show off quite a bit of skin not to mention some more bleeding scraps and some extra bruises that were starting to slowly turn blackish purple.

"Don't look!" she squealed shoving her hand at his face while she tried to cover her side. No way was she letting anyone see her partially naked. She noticed her wings had folded away and weren't visible anymore. He probably thought that she was another human. Then she looked him over quickly. Well he didn't feel human to her. That put her mind on alert. Not good the only other thing down here that wasn't an angel or a human was a demon. She might be fallen but she would not hang around demons.

"Just stay away from me..." she said still not entirely sure she was correct about her assumption. "Are you a....demon?" she asked uncertainly. He sure didn't dress like one, but they were masters of disguise she reminded herself. From all the stories she heard he could be here to help her, gain her trust, and then eat her. Eww.

Kyle blinked. He was still confused on how Aurora appeared before him, and with a loud thunk as well. Perhaps, she fell? Fell from what...? He thought. But before he could think anymore, he noticed that her hand was attacking his face, hiding his site. "I'm...sorry?" He asked. He felt a little weird, but obviously she didn't want him to see something important to her.

Once she released his face from her grip, he just stared at her with a blank stare for a moment. Looking back at his scars, he leaped to his knees. "What I am is not of importance right now. You need medical attention right away!" Kyle said with a concern in his voice. It's best not to tell her who I am...I don't want any more enemies... He thought. If he told Aurora that he was a demon, all possible trust bonds could be broken before they were even built. Kyle hasn't had a friend in many years, and now could be a fresh start.

Medical attention? What she needed was some new clothes. She didn't need some doctor poking and prodding at her with needles. Aurora was fallen and her blood wouldn't hide the fact that she wasn't from earth. "No, no doctors, no nurses, no medical attenion." she said her voice growing a bit louder after each no. "What I need is new clothes and a new job..." she murmured her thoughts straying again.

Shaking her head she looked up at him forgetting that he hadn't answered her question. "Do you have some clothes I could wear?" she asked him. Luckily she spent all of her free time watching humans. Now she had to live with them. But that wouldn't be a problem as long as she could get a job, some shelter, and a nice new dress or pants. Whatever those were. "Oh my gosh! I lost my job... I'm fallen..." Aurora was trying and failing to figure out what to do next.

Kyle took a second to respond. "...The only clothes I have are just T-shirts, skinny jeans, some socks and boxers..." He replied, feeling a little embarrassed at his last word. "I-i don't know if they'll fit you, but your more than welcome to try them on." He added quickly. Kyle was more than happy to help out someone in need, it's happened before. Though usually, once they find out who he really is, they reject his charity and refuse his help, even if they were dying.

Kyle stood up with a burst of energy and smiled. "I haven't had company in a while." He said. He held out his hand to her, offering his help. "My name is Kyle, by the way." He added, finally answering his question. "Well, that's what people call me anyway. I don't have a real name..." He added.

The only thing that distracted her from what she had already been saying was what he said. Ok so he had pants. That was a good thing right? Well it would be if she knew how to put them on or wear them. "You wear boxes?" she asked him curiously. That was something she definitely had not heard of yet. Or if they had come up with it, it was a very stupid idea. Who would want to wear boxes? Then he started talking about having her as company.

She didn't want to impose, she could find a job or something... she was sure... "Well I don't want to impose, and you have to tell me why you would ever think of wearing a box." she said holding the side of her dress with her left hand she slipped her right hand into the one he offered. "Thank you, Kyle," she murmured. "Oh, I'm Aurora." she added as an after thought.

Kyle chuckeled. "Wearing boxes would cause a bit of explaination." He said. "But you misheard me. I said boxers. Its a type of...." He paused, feeling embarrassed again. "Uh...Never mind. Its something only boys wear..." Kyle finished. He never met someone who didn't know what boxers were, so explaining it to a girl made it very uneasy for him. He took her hand, pushing his weight backwards to help her get up.

"It's nice to meet you, Aurora." Kyle replied, smiling once again. He hoped that she thought that he was a human at the moment. Maybe it should stay that way. But something always happens to where the truth comes out and Kyle is standing in the dust, alone. Again. He didn't think much about it. All that really mattered right now was getting her to his house, which wasn't far. "You wont have any problems walking, right?" He asked, a little concern again. Kyle wasn't strong, so he wouldn't know if he would be able to carry her or not. He'd most likely still try, though.

As far as she knew boxers weren't any better. Of the ones she'd seen at least. And who would wear such cute dogs anyways? She frowned in confusion as he helped her up and then he said that only boys wore them. Oh dear, it must have been some kind of fad for them. "I see..." she murmured still confused but not quite willing to admit it. "Yes it's nice meeting you to... right when I happened to need a helping hand." she said. She still was a little cautious, and happened to be thinking about the stories that were told by other angels she had spent time with.

Well if they were correct then she was doomed. Then again she wasn't positive about what he was. She noticed her legs were a little shaky from the fall as she stood next to him, her legs shaking as if they'd collapse under her. "I-I think I'll be ok," she murmured. Well even if she was walking into a trap there wasn't much she could have done since most demons would be able to throw her over their shoulder and cart her to their homes to eat. "Do you mind if I lean on you a bit?" she asked him hesitantly.

Kyle noticed that Aurora's legs were shaking, but didn't say anything. When she asked to lean on him, he nodded his head, giving her permission yes. The field they were win was large, away from any city's or towns. There were a few houses, however. And Kyle's owned one of these houses. Although he was an outcast demon, his parents were, of course, still ashamed of him, but still supported him. They would provide for only the house payments and bills. Kyle's parents were very wealthy people living half way across the globe, so they could afford anything. When Kyle came out to his parents that he thinks of the Angel's as beautiful beings and wished peace with them, they were shocked, kicked him out for three days, and brought him back, only to make a deal. Kyle would have to relocate to anywhere he pleased, find a small house, and they would pay for it. But they could never speak again, he could never ask anything from them or nothing. Complete contact was removed.

Kyle accepted his parents deal, but sometimes he regretted it. He was always alone, no parents to ask for advice, and no one to seek protection from when other demons came after him. Of course, by now, he would just avoid people all together when possible, and seek help through magazines and the internet. It worked, but not as well as it would with real parents.

"My house..." Kyle started to speak. "...Is just down the road." He added, pointing to a dirt road far off into the distance. "It shouldn't take long to get there. About half a mile or so..." He added.

Aurora could tell that she would be sighing with relief when they reached his home. The pain from her wounds was starting to set in and she was not going to be found at a hospital or near any doctor period. She leaned a little heavily on Kyle for support and felt bad about it. Never had she done something like this, not to mention she'd never known pain like this either. It made her highly uncomfortable. Peering up at him, Aurora noticed that he seemed far off as if he weren't even here walking with her and letting her lean on him.

It was odd. That was all she really thought. He was odd because he was so nice and he wanted to help patch her up. "What are you thinking about?" she asked him curiously as they walked. Aurora knew that if she didn't ask now then she wouldn't be able to ask later. Silently she shifted again looking back at the road in front of them that seemed to fly by even through her pain. She only smiled at his words. He seemed genuinely kind for someone who felt so... off to her.

Kyle, seeming to wandering off into his thoughts, came back to his body when he heard Aurora speak. He felt her body weigh onto his as she leaned, it didn't bug her, but the thought of carrying her kept popping into his head. "My thinking?" He whispered. "I guess I'm thinking about my parents..." He replied with a slight smile. Kyle didn't get to speak about his parents often, only to himself which seemed schizophrenic to some people, always talking to one's self. "Taking you to my house reminded me of my parents in some way." He added.

A thought struck him. If he continued to talk about his parents, the question could come up 'where are they?'. The only way to explain it properly and correctly was that he was kicked out based on his views on life. Obviously, Kyle thought that Aurora would ask the question again 'are you a demon?'; causing him to go into a slight panic. He tried to push it out, but the thought still lingered.

When he said it that way it confused her. Of course it was his thinking, not like anyone else was up there moving his body for him and thinking for him. Aurora frowned for a moment. Helping her reminded him of his parents? "Does that make you happy or sad?" she asked him curiously as she nibbled on her lower lip. It was a bad habit she had when she felt she was asking to much of another person.

Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment as she leaned on him and her feet tangled together briefly and she stumbled a bit before righting herself.
"Sorry I didn't mean to do that."
she muttered. "I'm just a little tired..." she told him leaning on him a little lighter this time and forcing her eyes to stay open. Aurora really hoped they got to his house soon or she'd stumble and probably knock herself out, with the luck she was having today she was counting on it to happen.

Kyle thought for a second. Happy or sad? About his parents? "I don't know how thinking of them makes me feel..." He said, thinking again. "We don't speak any longer, but I know they're still somewhere out in the world. I'm happy that they're alive and that I got to know them, but sad that I cant see them..." Kyle added with another smile. Why was he smiling? Didn't he just say he didn't know how he felt? It was just a habit of his. To smile randomly after sentences, always trying to lighten the mood, even if it wasn't bad.

Kyle felt Aurora trip, ready to catch it, but he didn't need to. She caught herself. "It's okay. I some-what expected that to happen since you fell from..." He stopped, thinking. "Exactly, how did you fall?" He asked. They reached the dirt road and Kyle urged to go left, to the direction of where his house was.

She listened as he spoke. It was interesting to hear about another persons life. Aurora didn't really know her parents so she couldn't really say if she liked them or not. "Well why can't you see them?" she asked curiously. Then began to chastise herself in her head. "I'm sorry I shouldn't ask personal questions..." she said her voice polite and soft.

Aurora nearly gapped at him. He hadn't seen her fall? She fell right in front of him though, nearly rolled ontop of him. "I fell from the sky," she said her voice a little confused. "I fell right in front of you after falling from the sky." she explained. As if he hadn't seen her fall himself. "I'm not sure how it happens but it happened to me..." she said her voice growing soft again. This time in saddness as she remembered what happened. She turned when he urged her in a different direction. Her legs shook even harder as she turned she wished the pain was over already... she didn't like it.

Kyle always had a habit, besides smiling, to think thuroughly about all of his answers, questions, suggestions and what not. Possibly because he didn't like getting into a debate of some sort, or have to explain something again, so he organized his words into a way where that didn't happen. It was a skill he had to learn, years of tries and fails, but he hoped he got the hang of it. But Aurora proved that he didn't. He needed more practice. "Well, I know how you fell, but I meant to ask why?" Kyle replied. "How did you get into the sky in the first place?"

The other question Aurora asked, about his parents, the thought still lingered in his head. "I don't mind talking about my parents." He assured. "The reason why I can't see them is because of differences in opinions on certain things. They were raised a certain way to dislike the....Er....Certain people. While I thought there was no point and accept everything." Kyle finished.

She didn't even know why she had fallen but she knew why she'd been in the sky. "I live there. Or I did." she told him. Then she felt her eyes widen. She was basically telling him she was an angel. After everything she told him he could probably guess that. How could she be so stupid? Was this why they kicked her out because she hadn't the knowledge to keep herself hidden in a world full of humans that would kill her, or try and force her to work blessings on them and then kill her when she couldn't. Well she could but only small ones.

"I-I mean... that I-I...." she wanted to smack herself. This was quite a situtation if he figured out her biggest secret and she just got here. Aurora had to calm down if she didn't she knew that her wings would make a broadway appearance and everyone would see them. They would be in the spotlight and then she'd be dead or worse... "Is your house close?" she asked him frantically. If she had to show one being her wings then she would. But there were other houses around here and she wasn't willing to share her secret with everyone.

Kyle felt his jaw slightly drop from what Aurora said. Lived in the sky...? He thought. Only angels live in the sky...Aurora couldn't be an angel. Angel's could fly. She fell, so she couldn't. Unless she really was. Thoughts ran through his head, contradicting each other as more and more entered his brain. It was best not to continue the conversation on how she fell, obviously it was going to be hard to explain and now wasn't the time to explain it. At a different time, perhaps.

"You see that blueish house farther up the road?" Kyle asked, pointing to it. "That's it right there." He added. "It's small, yes. But it should do fine for now." He finished. Kyle didn't need a big house, just something big enough for him. Eventually he hoped he could get a bigger house, maybe with a roommate or two, or even a ...girlfriend? But he knew that wouldn't happen since he is who he is.

She tried to push away her thoughts of panic but couldn't manage it. Aurora didn't want anyone to see her dark grey wings but it was him or him and thirty or so other people... Pushing herself forward she forced herself to run to the house. She had heard what he said but hadn't replied. When she got to the front of the house she grabbed the handle to the door her breath heaving in and out of her as she turned the handle.

Her legs shook beneath her as she fell to her knees in front of the door. Her wings popped out of her back flexed open and then tucked themselves neatly against her back. Forcing herself to face him, and hide her wings, she turned flinching at the pain in her limbs and looked up at him searching his face for any sign that he knew what she was.

[[It's okay. I've been rather busy anyway. D:]]

Before Kyle knew it, Aurora was running towards his house, as if scared. He was a little concerned and jogged after her in case anything happened. When he saw her collapsed on the ground infront of his door, he was astonished. Was that...? Kyle thought, staring right at her. No, it couldn't. I'm seeing things... Kyle pushed it past him. Obviously he was outside in the sun for too long and started to see things. He shook his head and held out his hand. "Your almost inside. I'll help you get to my couch so you can rest properly." Kyle said with a warm smile.

I saw nothing... He kept reminding himself, but the image was still in his head.
